Sorry about missing last week. The numbers were even worse than this week however. Several cities have remained the same, but its quite evident that season change drives a lot of thread inputs that don't get followed up on. It also seems evident that numbers tend to follow plot. It's also interesting how the movement of one single PC can generate a nosedive one place and an upswing another.
To put things into perspective - because Jen is always complaining! - March was our most active month ever. We got 9,827 posts, just a hair's width away from 10k. The previous record was 9,469 from last November, and while March has one more day, it is neither a NaNoWriMo month nor a placeholder one, so be proud of yourselves!
Tarot's thread tickets: sold out. Not accepting any more threads for the time being unless I promised you one. Sorry for the inconvenience!
I took this screenshot sunday at midnight my time but I totally passed out before I posted it. I only remembered because I went into photoshop to do something else and saw that I'd completely and utterly forgot! Thanks for NOT reminding me folks! Here it is... Sunday's Domain Activity Count.
I'm very proud of The Jungle Wilds word count. They are doing a fantastic job over in Falyndar. Historically it has NEVER been so high. Zeltiva's was artificially high because of a call for grading help that storytellers from all over dove in on and helped catch up a 6 page grade request backlog. The Suvan is notable too... Anchor has been doing a great job with moderated threads there.
Tuesday seems to be the day to post Sunday Night Domain Activity Counts! Go figure.. and I'm even busier today than I was yesterday with the shoer and some friends coming out before work. Wowsers. At least I uploaded this like Sunday night or something to the gallery before I passed out. You peeps not wanting to wait for an official posting can always peek into the gallery all stealth like to see if Gossyigirl uploaded anything before I do my final pretty post in the main boards.
Also, Phoenix, you did not remind me! I'm pinning this blame on you.
Screen capture from Sunday Night! One thing I noted was that one city, Zeltiva, had a padded count due to empty placeholders posted in the University Forum. I expect more padding next count due to the season change more universally throughout the game in a wide variety of cities. Be sure you check word counts, not necessarily thread counts. Syliras is still being a rock star in that department. There are words backing up threads. We'll see in the subsequent weeks to follow of placeholders universally throughout the game get filled or drop off forgotten which is usually what happens. So I feel like the most accurate thread reports, for new players who are interested in city activity, are the previous weeks mid month.
