27th Spring 513 AV
10th Bell

It was only a small hike along the Kabrin road that Fallon had set herself up for the day. She brought along some supplies, her tulwar and kukri being among them, her armour donned for protection and the heavy felt over her shoulders. She did not bring herself out that far, a mile or two at most, close enough that she could seek aid if need be but far enough that she was out in the fresh air. She had left a note in the dormitories, explaining where she was going should any of the squires question her sudden disappearance - or more over if she did not return they at least had a location in which to start. Although the route was patrolled, it was still dangerous in the wilds. And so she had little choice but to make sure she was protected and ready. Inhaling the spring air, Fallon stretched herself out as the yaps or Orvin the white pup rang out.

"Soon Orvin, soon," she patted the creature on the head as she stepped briefly into the tree line off the road.
It was peaceful to say the least, the hum of the city having now been left behind. Taking a perch in the clearing Fallon lowered her backpack to the ground and prepared herself for the days activities. It was time to train and teach the pup. In what and how much was yet to be determined. Clicking her fingers and crouching, she waited for the pup to come over before beginning.

The first task of the day was trying to teach the art of staying and waiting. Sure he could come over when she called for him, but whether or not he would obey that simple rule was now to be determined. For a moment she thought on how to achieve this and the best tactic to take.
Keep it simple Fallon, make it too complex then it won't work. Maybe try making him sit...
She gave him the simple command that the pup had begun to grow accustomed to. He obeyed, his eyes staring up at her for a few ticks, and in turn Fallon returned the look. She held her breath for a moment, and took a single step back.
Okay, what now? she held her hand out, her palm flat as she took a second step back. She watched the pup's head turn to the side, a quizzical expression covering his face before she slowly spoke "Stay..."
The pair blinked as they intently looked at each other. Fallon slowly exhaled and her shoulders slumped inwards, "Good boy."
It was more relief that at least the first hurdle had past, even if it was only such a small distance away. She called Orvin close, before giving him a firm pat on the head. It was the start of a long trial after all.

Azcadelia Rosan

Fire erupted from her palm as the heat of it burned in a furl not far from her face. Azcadelia had come out to practice Fire Reimancy like always. This was an unusual spot for her but only because her last spot had gotten over ran by travellers that decided to settle in the opening.

Another twirl of her figure and another burst of flame from her fingers. Azcadelia was in true concentration and harmony with her skills at the moment. She was flowing with the wind, the birds and the trees but began to get over confident in her ability. Today was the day she was was to push herself to a knew limit and she just about broke it when she sent a surge of Res slewing from her fingers being quickly erupted without escaping too far from her figure. The Res ignited at the tail end that furiously turned into a rushing heat coming towards her. Azcadelia cut off her casting before the flame reached her and set her, too, aflame.

The magus cursed under her breath hoping to rebound with an acrobatic mix of both reimancy and body. Her bare feet gripped the grass as she launched herself into a somersault and spin. Mid spin she weaved a cocoon of Res around her and ignited that too. The spinning flame continued until she landed with a slight thud before falling from imbalance. Her silver tunic of the day had been singed slightly on dismount and the braided rope around her waist looked slightly charred. "Gods dammit," she groaned before squatting in the cool grass.

Her flames weren't visible from the main road but if one were to venture slightly deeper they'd here and possible see the orange, yellow and red lotus array of fire.

Azcadelia took in a breath and exhaled, disappointed in herself. She hadn't reached her new limit and barely reached her last. Her concentration was off and it made her want a drink to somber down.

noteI just keep on finding you, hmm? Hehe.

OOCI hope you don't mind me cutting in. I need a debut thread and your location was perfect :)

A gentle breeze rustled through the leaves around him. And through him. It had been three years and he still was not used to that sensation. He was not used to being empty.

Boren stood just within the tree line of the Bronze Woods on the far right side of the Kabrin Road. Invisible to near everyone, he stared downward at the ground where he and his lover, Lillian, were to have had their picnic. It was the same plot of land where he had buried her mere moments before he was killed by her self-righteous brother. It was this place that he could be found most days. It's simply the nature of a ghost to be unable to move on.

"Has it only been three years Lilly?" he asked. "It feels like decades to me."

Whisps and tendrils of Soulmist spread out from him, causing the area around him to look as though a dense fog was settling in. He could not bring himself to cry again today. He had wasted too much time doing that for now. Instead, he turned and began to head back into the city. He smiled weakly to himself as he passed the young girl and her dog.

For a moment, he envied the dog. Small and cute as it was. Everyone loved puppies. He stood unseen behind the girl, just a few feet away and watched.

"Stay," she said, and Borens eyes grew wide.

It couldn't be... he thought. But then she spoke again

"Good boy."

Now, Boren blinked himself behind the dog next to a tree. Her voice! She sounds just like.. He slowly began to materialize himself beside the tree. His translucent face a mix of wonder and excited curiosity.

His voice shook as he spoke. He knew it was impossible but still, he had to try.

"Lillian?" he said "Is that you?"

Akilia

Akilia in her Kelvic wolf form trotted through the trees weaving in and out. "Another unsucessful hunt...maybe I'll just watch the people on the road today get my mind off things." She said softly to herself moving out of the trees and halting not more than a few paces from the road. "What the-" She muttered. There were the usual people and a girl also on the road with a...wait a minute was that a wolf cub? Did that girl steal it? I don't recall humans making wolves. Akilia growled and took a small step towards them but then her growl stopped short. What the heck is that? She wondered her eyes catching a ghostly almost see through creature floating towards the girl, it looked to be talking and Akilia just stood there and stared mouth ajar sharp canine teeth glistening. A ghost...that's a ghost isn't it? She could see wispy sort of mist or something flowing around it.

Akilia snapped to, and she walked towards the ghost her furry posture neutral. The ghost didn't look like it meant any harm...but one could never be too sure. Akilia's gaze shifted to the girl with the pup. "Did she steal you?" She asked the pup, her eyes flicking every so often to the girl.

There was too much going on really for Fallon to grasp any sense of direction. The thought of the glowing from nearby was quickly snuffed out when the loud voice called out. Her attention was torn from Orvin, who for the most part was behaving himself. In his own animal way. He gave a loud, defensive yap as the ghost began to materialise itself as words escaped full of questions. She took a hesitant step away, her hand reaching for the hilt of her Kukri, her eyes transfixed with fear.
“What? Who? I-“

It was a low snap followed by a growl that caused her to look back, along with the head of Orvin wheeling round to stare at what was behind. A wolf stood there, dark shades covering its fur, a low growl escaping it. Anger, rage? Had she now become a victim of a hunt for this lone creature.
“Ah… petch,” she swallowed as the wolf came closer.
She might have had the cub at her side, but with the scene around her it was quickly falling into chaos. Orvin bounded round, back arched, fur on end as a more aggressive flare seem to come out. It was admirable that the cub had risen up to the defence and had become loyal to her. Whatever was shared between them however was a mystery that Fallon would never know. Her fingers curled around the top of the hilt, making herself ready to draw if need be.

What the black wolf would have heard however, would have been the words of a loyal member of a pack. The cub spoke between yaps, “Leave Alpha alone! Go! Go! She never stole me! Alpha saved me!”
Fallon stiffened as she turned back to the ghost, looking for its position, whilst her eyes darted about and searched for a possible escape if need be.

Azcadelia Rosan

Azcadelia had just force herself into a backbend to attempt a backflip when she heard the high pitched barks of a pup. The shrillness of the cry caused her to lose focus and tumble in on herself. "What's going on?" she said, annoyed as she stood, dusting herself off. The royal blue tunic dressed magus smacked her lips and tried to look in between the trees. Nothing, just the wind and more dense forest. But, the sound came from the road and no one usually travelled at this time of day.

"Hello?" she called out, holding her hand to her mouth to amplify the sound. "Hello," she called again. No answer, not even the wind dared to further annoy the novice mage. "God's forsaken forest. Where the hell did that noise come from." She groaned and attempted to do another backbend only to fall in on herself again. Her concentration was shot and she needed to punish the imbecile who dared to do so. Azcadelia took off, slippers in hand, towards the road.

To her surprise, after clearing a good portion of bush and with the road in sight, she saw Fallon, Orvin, a ghost and wolf all ganged up against the small woman and her wolf companion. "Fallon," Azcadelia said, walk towards her friend cooly, as if the ghost nor the wolf would dare to harm her, "what's going on? Are you alright and is that Orvin that was barking? If so, I have to give him a piece of my mind." Azcadelia waited for the woman's answer whilst eyeing the wolf, who looked peeved, with her own jade intense glower.

Akilia

Akilia tilted her head in surprise, she didnt expect the pup to defend his...alpha so fericely so she took a few steps and backed off. "Fine kid, but your alpha's a human if you didn't notice." Akilia was about to walk off when a figure came through the trees. Another woman. "What's with all the humans around here?" She muttered. I thought the woods well, belonged to the animals who lived here and the city was for humans. It seems I have been mistaken. Akilia thought sourly. I hope they don't start hunting there's enough competition as it is.

Akilia halted her advancement to the trees at the sound of the new woman's voice. Akilia gave her the once over, but then shook her head in frustration when she remembered she could only see in black and white in this form. So she changed. She went from animal to human in one fast motion ending up crouching on hands and knees...nude. She didnt realize this until a soft gust of wind hit her skin. She shrugged then jogged over to a tree where she had stashed her clothes. After going behind it and changing into her usual simple gray blue shirt, dark blue pants and black leather boots she reappeared. She had her gold locket in her hand as well and fastened it around her neck as she slowly walked over to the others.

She stopped a few feet away giving all in sight curious ice blue eyes. Her eyes flicked to the wolf pup and she frowned. Poor pup doesn't even know his own kind. Well, it's not my job to try and return him to his pack, who knows where they could be. Plus I bet his human...the woman would start quite a fuss about it. Akilia's little canine tooth peeked out a little on the side of her mouth and she bit her lip a bit while eying the other with a bit of suspicion mixed in with that curiosity.

Fubuki Kouri

OOCThis thread looks like fun! I want to join in the fun! :P

"Hmhmhmhm~♪" Kouri, the singer ghost girl, was taking her usual stroll in the Kabrin Road. She was in a very good mood, very good indeed, for 4 days ago at 23rd of Spring, a very important event happened to her, she had met the first person in this city who was willing to help her achieve her revenge and gave her unlife a whole new goal, Cyrus Blackfire, My master~ My beloved master~♥ Kouri put her hands to her cheeks and quickly shook her head at the thought, she loved her master like a daughter to her father. All in all, she would follow him even to the gates of oblivion itself.

As she wandered through the roadside, she suddenly heard barkings coming from not far from her location... and after a few moments, more and more barkings. Huh? Are some wolves fighting or something? This intrigued her childish curiosity as she floated to the area, using the sound as her guide.

Moments later, she arrived and an odd scene played before her undead eyes. Uhm... there's a... white small wolf... a red-haired human woman... aaaah! a ghost like me! I should get to know him! And... uhm.. is that... Akilia?! Kouri felt delighted as she recognized the blue-eyed Kelvic girl, the one she met 17 days ago at 10th of Spring in the Bronze Woods near the road, both of them started out sour, but because of a particular Vantha named Daniel Connor, their relationship had improved for the better. Feeling safe as she recognized Akilia, she immediately blinked and appeared next to Akilia, materialized herself, and hugged her.

"Hello~ Akilia~ It's me, Kouri~ Ehehehe~ ♥" While still hugging the wolf Kelvic, she looked around "And uhm... are these people your friends? Ehehe~Nice to meet you all~ I'm Fubuki Kouri~ Akilia's friend ehehe~" Kouri giggled as she tightened her hug on Akilia.

Postby Boren Amadaru on April 8th, 2013, 12:36 pm

Boren needed a moment. So much was going on so fast. It was beginning difficult to take it all in. Boren blinked himself a few feet away from all the commotion to get a better view of everything.

First and foremost, he realized, that girl was not Lillian. Realizing this fact made him want to leave the area completely out of sear disappointment. Secondly, some of the people seemed to know each other. The ghost and the wolf, and the redhead and the blond. Fallon? Not Lillian... he thought sadly.

Suddenly, Boren felt very much like he didn't belong here. But this was his haunt. And should things turn ugly, Boren wanted to be there to defend his lovers grave.

And so that was where he went. Just off to the right-hand side of the road, Boren stood, watching, waiting to see what would happen next.

Akilia

Akilia was busy watching the two women and the ghost when something wrapped its arms around her in a hug. "What the?!" Akilia said startled and jumped as her ghosty friend Kouri hugged her. Recognizing Kouri, Akilia relaxed some and hugged the ghost girl back.

"Hello~ Akilia~ It's me, Kouri~ Ehehehe~ ♥"

"Hi Korui, long time no see eh ghosty?" She asked cheerfully, "I haven't seen you in a while what have you been up to?" She asked breaking the hug and standing on her tippy toes before tousling her friends silvery white hair a little.

"And uhm... are these people your friends? Ehehe~Nice to meet you all~ I'm Fubuki Kouri~ Akilia's friend ehehe~"

Akilia's attention was brought back to the new people around them. "No, their not my friends. I don't know any of em not their names or anything. I thought that that girl over there," the dark haired girl pointed to Fallon, "had stolen that pup from its parents. I've never seen a brainwashed pup defend its...uh, well the pup called the woman his alpha I think." She said brow furrowed a bit, not quite grasping the concept of having a human as an alpha.

She looked towards the woods hearing the crashing of paws hit the forest floor. Akilia's dog Ginger trotted from the woods happy doggy smile in place like "what I miss?". Upon seeing Akilia the creamy red dappled dog charged at Akilia at a sprint. "No, Ginger-" Akilia managed to squeal before the dog crashed into knocking her to the ground. The happy dog gave Akilia some licks on the girl before getting off and letting her up.
"Ugh..." The small girl muttered sitting up then getting to her feet. "I forgot your leash." She told the dog. Ginger grinned in a "really you did? I never would've guessed" look. The dog began to inspect Kouri walking around the ghost girl sniffing her. "Sit Ginger." Akilia called to the dog. Sadly Akilia was ignored, and the girl sighed. "Kouri, meet Ginger. She's my dog I bought her in Syliras a few days ago." Akilia said smiling at her friend.

OOCIs it alright that I brought in Ginger? I can send her out if you want Fallon. And sorry for being so late in posting, I had things to attend to in RL.
