35th of Spring, 14th of Bell, 513 AV

Power was something that was best kept to oneself unless it needed to be displayed, for inspiration or fear. This was something Cyrus absolutely believed in, it was not a good idea for one to show all of their cards before the time came. As such he was very careful to keep his abilities with magic on a need to know basis. He also made a note that no one needed to know.

So it was that the warrior found himself in the Bronze Woods outside the wall of Syliras, preparing to practice his reimancy in seclusion. It was certainly a fine day for it, the sun was shining brightly and the birds chirping happily. The warmth of spring seemed to be full upon them as the trees began their recovery from the winter. Truly it was a fine day to practice, to perfect his powers for when they would be needed.

Cyrus was, as always, dressed in his banded mail armor and had his greatsword strapped to his back, one never knew from where danger might come. Some would call that paranoia, Cyrus suspected that those same people often ended up lying face down in a ditch somewhere with a dagger in their backs. Caution was the better part of valor, another phrase that Cyrus believed in.

The tall well muscled man stopped in a clearing, glancing around briefly to appraise it. There was a large stone sitting on the other side of the clearing, covered in aged moss, and some of the surrounding trees were cut away. It was large enough in diameter for him to easily swing his greatsword around and not hit a thing, giving him plenty of space for him to practice his reimancy.

The warrior nodded approvingly and walked over to the stone, setting his greatsword down on it, followed closely with his gauntlets. They didn't hinder Res generation over much but it was better to form with bare hands in Cyrus' opinion. This accomplished he began to contemplate how he wanted this session to go. He had plenty of time, it was not like anyone was going to stumble upon him here of all places.

Fire and Lightning [Azcadelia]

Azcadelia Rosan

Azcadelia had come to the Bronze Woods again this day to practice her Reimancy and Acrobatics; the latter needing more work than the former. She broke off from the main road leading into Syliras and went into the brush nearby, making sure no one saw her do so. Once in the woods and no longer in view of the road she broke into a jog, her golden trimmed and grey scaled slippers digging into the fallen leaves and grass.

She bounded and leaped through trees, landing, each time, with a thud and irregularity. Balancing on landing was the hardest thing to accomplish while in mid air. The leaves and twigs snapped and crunched as she landed and ran to do another, then another trying her damndest to perfect the skill. It would come in time, she knew but it felt that she could do this. Do more than this but her body wouldn't allow it. She cursed herself and slowed to a gentle stride as she approached a clearing.

Again, Azcadelia called on the Djed within her to secrete the essence of Res within her. Another day to push to the limits she would think as she entered the clearing, a flare of flame shooting into the air announcing her arrival to the occupants of the forest.

Cyrus heard something approaching the clearing, which immediately brought him out of his contemplation. The warrior' hand fell upon the hilt of his greatsword, his dark eyes narrowing as he looked in the direction of the disturbance ready for anything. Well perhaps not, as a red haired woman entered the clearing, firing a plume of flame into the air as if to announce her arrival. That had certainly not been something he had been ready for.

The display of power had been quite blatant and open, with seemingly no thought or focus given to the action. Obviously the woman was a Reimancer, a fellow wizard of the elements. Cyrus did not remove his hand from the massive sword, still very cautious of this unexpected interruption.

The woman was shorter than he was and looked physically unimposing but Cyrus of all people new that size mattered little when commanding the forces of the metaphysical. She was certainly attractive, with curves in all the right places and a beauty that would certainly make it easy for her to wrap most men around her finger. Her eye catching beauty aside, the woman was dressed in robes that seemed a little ruffled from a jog.

Her physical attributes were not his main focus however, no, he was more interested in her knowledge of Reimancy. Based on her earlier display he could safely bet that she was either unbelievably powerful, or just very foolish to use magic so freely. Either one could be very dangerous for him.

"Who may I ask are you that bends fire to her will so casually?" Cyrus called out, his expression carefully guarded.

Azcadelia Rosan

"Who may I ask are you that bends fire to her will so casually?" a man's voice called her way. Azcadelia shifted her head quickly to the source, her red curled and waved locs falling to the side of her face. Azcadelia's red stained lips curled into a grin as she leaned over and slipped off her grey slippers. With those in hand she pressed down the wrinkles in her silvery robe and approached the man without a word.

The loose fabric on the sleeves of her robe flowed gently with her strides as her feet came in contact with the cool grass. The elegant fabric mass of she and the cloth brushed against the rock and she dropped her slippers on it. Azcadelia stood there, by the rock, and took in the man's detail. The chainmail, fitting his muscular form and caressing his broad shoulders, detailing and emphasizing the broadness of the man compared to Azcadelia's slimmer figure. Again, she smiled.

Walking up the man she placed a hand on his covered left shoulder with her right hand, came around the back of him, sliding her hand from his shoulder to his back, feeling the bumps of the mail against her delicate fingers. The flirty manner was the nature of Azcadelia, especially in the company of a handsome man. She stood on the tips of her toes and whispered into his ear, "You seem to be in my spot, handsome. But," she said coming around to the front of him still running her hand along his armoured body, "I'll excuse you if you tell me your name first?"

Azcadelia smiled at the man as she stood in front of him, chest to chest. Not intimidated by the stranger at all. This was her territory and if there was a fight she'd know it more than he.

Cyrus watched the woman carefully as she slipped off her slippers and strode boldly up to him, placing her footwear on the same rock his gauntlets and sword were on. He was extremely wary of the woman and drew his blade slightly out of its harness, though if the woman saw the action she clearly didn't care. Instead the red haired beauty began to run her hands all over his armor, awakening some of the man's slumbering passion.

It had been sometime since Cyrus had been with a woman, a year if he was being honest. Long enough for him to feel a physical ache when the woman drew up close to him. He maintained control however, loss of control was a weakness he could ill afford especially when the woman was so close he could feel her warm breath against his ear. The mystery woman was certainly forward he would give her that, with the way her hands moved over his armored body. She pressed herself against his back, her breath hot upon his neck as she stood on the tips of her toes.

When had he lost control of this situation? No, he was still in control she didn't know about his abilities yet.

"You seem to be in my spot, handsome. But" She said, coming around to his front, "I'll excuse you if you tell me you name first."

The woman's smile was dazzling, clearly she was a very good manipulator. Were Cyrus a lesser man he might well be puddy in her hands just from this little interaction, and though her hands were very pleasant it was not a fate the warrior intended. Besides he was no stranger to the dance either.

He brought a hand up and brushed her fire red hair, admiring how soft and well maintained it was. The same hand traced a light path down her shoulder and to her back, straying down her spine as far as he could. All the while he leaned in to the side of her face a charming grin on his face.

"I, why, I am no one important, my dear." The warrior said, moving the hand slowly around to her stomach.

"Though since I am so rudely intruding, I suppose I owe you something for that." He placed a hand lightly on her side, as though preparing for a dance.

He was enjoying himself, but it was time for his stage of the dance to come to an end. His next words he placed a bit of hypnotism in, an slight emotional response to set the mood. He was limited in regard to hypnosis but what he had was useful at times. In this case he opted for a more... erotic emotion. It was unlikely she would catch it, if she did then it would simply put her on her guard which was a victory in his book.

With his breath upon her ear he spoke, causing a slight drain on his Djed. "I am called Cyrus Blackfire. Who may I ask do I have the pleasure of addressing."

He pulled back slightly, allowing his dark eyes to gaze into her jade green eyes. Probably not his greatest charm but it was enjoyable certainly. He was certainly no master of seduction, but he worked with what he knew.

Azcadelia Rosan

Azcadelia felt the man fall into the trap of her own as he caressed her body the same, even more so, than she had done his. The feel of his rough hands perusing the curviness of her figure, her hips, shoulders, and stomach. All graced with the strength of his hand. "I, why, I am no one important, my dear," he said, midst touching her body. He continued with, "Though since I am so rudely intruding, I suppose I owe you soemthing for that." Then, with hot breath on her ear he said, "I am called Cyrus Blackfire. Who may I ask do I have the pleasure of addressing."

Azcadelia chuckled in his ear, almost mocking the man. A small impulse attempted to assault her conscious but was deflected because the mood didn't match the impulse, not for her anyway. This was simple manipulation, a search for information, not a romantic get up. But, she played along; acting as if his spell had worked. She grew closer to him, placing the softness of her abdomen against the cool mail.

"Well, Cyrus," she said, cooing in his ear, "It's nice to know that there is a hypnotist in my midst. Another Djed user are you? Please tell me hypnotism isn't your only trick because if it was I'll have to assume that you have much, much more to learn." Azcadelia turned around in his arms placing her back to his chest and her backside grinding against where his sex lay. She wrapped his arms around her stomach, laying his hands around her hips. She drew in a breath, sniffing in the air. "Ah, no there is much more than that," she said, struggling to sense further into his aura though her face would not show.

Calmly she placed her hands on his as she continued to grind her hips and backside against him. This dance for control was slightly arousing, it had been a long while since she had felt the grips and familiar prodding of a man. Especially a man of this stature and confidence. "I was named Azcadelia Rosan but you, Cyrus," she said, rolling the 'r' in her surname, "can call me Azzy if you wish."

Fire and Lightning [Azcadelia]

At first Cyrus had though he had achieved a victory though it was a short lived feeling. Her mood was still very controlled as she drew even closer, pressing up against him clearly he had miscalculated. Hypnotism was not his strong suit, his mother had been far more proficient than he. Reimancy was where he truly excelled, though he was hoping to improve his skills in regards to manipulations. Apparently they still needed some work.

Once again her hot breath was on his ear, though her words were slightly irritating, salt in the wound as it were.

"Well, Cyrus, its nice to know that there is a hypnotist in my midst. Another Djed user are you? Please tell me hypnotism isn't your only trick because if it was I'll have to assume that you have much, much more to learn." Her words were not exactly mocking but they still wounded him pride somewhat.

Her next actions nearly sent him over the edge as she turned around in his arms and started to grind her backside into him. The warrior was struggling to retain control of this situation, becoming extremely aware of his arousal. He let her wrap his hands around her stomach, his mind very much on the brink of going completely blank.

"Ah, no there is much more than that," she said, though Cyrus only just managed to catch the words.

She continued her motions, drawing a low groan from the back of his throat Gods it had been a long time indeed. He was losing control fast, which was certainly not good though a traitorous part of his brain wanted to let the woman take control. He crushed that part mercilessly, he couldn't give up control like this his will needed to be iron.

Through the waves of desire and frustration Cyrus caught her name.

"I was named Azcadelia Rosan but you, Cyrus, can call me Azzy if you wish." He immediately added her name to his memory, partly to fight the urge to give in and partly because he really wanted to remember.

He needed to move to gain control, fast. Cyrus' ambition was to command armies and he was losing himself to a woman he had just met in the forest, one who had to stand on her toes to look him in the eyes. So he gathered what resolve he had left and moved his hands from around her waist to her chest. The warrior gently caressed and teased at her breasts, fondling them carefully as he pulled her closer, lowering his head to her ear.

"Hypnotism has its uses, Azzy, however I possess a much more... electric disposition." He whispered.

His confidence was returning as he continued to caress her breasts, he could salvage this yet. Though if she was this good of a tease he could only imagine how much of a firebrand she was between the sheets.

Azcadelia Rosan

"Indeed it does, Cyrus," she said as he nurtured her breasts in his hands. A soft, teasing moan escaped her mouth purposefully hoping to tease at the man more. Azcadelia's hearing perked at his words. An 'electric disposition' he said, if she solved the small riddle correctly it meant he had a gift for the lightning type of Reimancy.

Azcadelia remained calm, this was a fight for control not for the mating dance of an animal. Reminding herself of this she reluctantly released herself from the man's embrace and tore herself away from the prodding member below his belt. It pained her truly but this was her territory and she was not one to share, without it benefiting her that is. "Cyrus," she said turning to face the man, legs spread, hands on her hips, a stance of a woman in charge, "as much as this errotic display of dominance and effection has been fun, I must tell you to leave. I've come here to practice my Reimancy and I would rather do so without disturbance and your handsomeness is very, very disturbing." She looked at him frankly, tilting her head slightly allowing her hair to fall in a playful manner, contradicting with her dominant stance.

Azcadelia did want to play however, she wanted this man and his 'friend' but it would have to wait. It would have to wait until this territorial dispute was done then surely he and she could have more time to... consider, the other subjects at hand. She quirked a brow and smiled. "In truth, we are one in the same, hand in hand if you will. The only difference is you seem, well, try, to manipulate with the use of Djed and I use my words, looked, and body," she said, running her hands along the curves of her hips, "to the same and they are much more effective as you can see." She motioned to his groin with her eyes then smiled again, accomplished. Her jade eyes glinted in sun the rose above the clearing, casting a spotlight of sorts on the two mages.

Fire and Lightning [Azcadelia]

Postby Cyrus Blackfire on April 3rd, 2013, 2:46 am

Cyrus was actually disappointed when Azzy decided to break away from him. The disappointment lasted but a moment before his discipline came to reign in any stray desires he had. He could safely say that he wanted this woman, very much so, however he had come here with a purpose today, unfortunately satisfying carnal desires was not one of them. Still the ache was there, a dull buzz in the back of his mind.

The tall warrior quirked an eyebrow at Azzy's more dominant stance, rather than looking intimidating it looked rather less so. Her demand for him to leave was very much the same as her stance, not exactly intimidating or very commanding. Now that his senses were returning he felt much more confidant, and much more willing to dispute this "territory" of hers.

The way she compared the two of them was almost correct, almost. While she was certainly more effective at manipulation, at least for now, he regarded manipulation as but one tool in his fearsome arsenal. An arsenal he felt would need to be employed today. He could have simply gone and found a different spot to train, it wouldn't be to difficult. But that was beside the point, the dance for control was not yet done if this area was hers by discovery it would soon be his by conquest.

He widened his own stance, not yet bringing his hands up to bear. His dark eyes held a will of iron and his smile was far more dangerous than it had been a moment ago. Cyrus' fingertips pointed straight towards the ground, more dangerous weapons than his fearsome greatsword.

"It is quite a shame you feel that way, my red haired beauty, however I rather like this spot. I believe I will stay." He said, his tone controlled and powerful.

His eyes locked upon her, ready for anything.

Fire and Lightning [Azcadelia]

Azcadelia Rosan

Azcadelia tossed her head and hair back and gathered it into a ponytail, tying it together with her own hair. The loose tail was still, surprisingly, neat as she stared into the dark eyes of Cyrus. "I do beg you not to do so, there are plenty of clearings in this woods I assure you," she said, knowing he wouldn't take the offer.

While she was stating her offer she was also calling on the Djed with in her. Parting her mouth slightly she breathed out an invisible gas, the breath would seem to be a simple intake of air to a normal person but to another Reimancy user they would sense the ominous change in the air.

The gas travelled closer to the man as she patted down the creases in her silvery robe. "If you insist on staying how about a friendly duel for the land, if I win you must leave and give me something," she smiled devilishly, "extra that I desire from you." She giggled intoxicatingly and bubbly at the handsome man. "I'll let you decide the consequences for me if I was to lose. How's that sound?" she said extending a hand with a toothy, smug grin.

The smellless gas would have surrounded the man by now and if he didn't sense it the duel would start even more in her favour than before. It was already her territory she knew the place like the back of her hand. This newcomer, on the other hand, hadn't been in the region long enough to know the Bronze woods as well as Azcadelia.
