18th of Spring, 513 AVAleksi yawned quietly, looking about as she wiggled her way up from the grass. It was quite warm that morning, just a bit too warm for Luc to even move his paw. As usual, the lazy cat was enjoying the sun while Night was moving about, stretching.
It made the young Drykas woman want to do the same, so she started moving her hips in circular motion, her legs spreading until she was doing splits and then finally making her way up, doing some jumping, some crunches and bridge-like figures with her back arching and popping.
Loud, grunting sounds escaped her as she dragged herself over to the cat. Running her fingers through Luc's fur, she sat down next to him, mumbling something in Pavi which made the cat's had move over to her lap it almost sounded as if it purred. Strangely enough, they looked peaceful and almost sweet together, if you take away the fact that she was heavily tattooed, scarred and that she had a hunting cat on her lap along with a huge, black Strider behind both of them.

Who am I?
This is a question that K had grown to ask himself over the years. It was a simple question, but to him it was much more. It was on a philisophical level. "If I walked through a crowd...And I looked at a girl. Heck, Even a man for a second. Would that person remember my face?" These were the constant loud echoes that bounced around in the boys head. K had been out and about in town, more or less cruising one would say. The boy didn't have a certain destination he just knew that if you kept going, something was bound to happen.
Most people flee from danger. Most people would do anything to have a life of safety. "But that's not who I am..." The boy muttered to himself as he walked. His elegant, highly soft, snow white cloak began to gain movement as a gentle spring air blew. He let out a sigh as he exited the city, for boredom in life was not something that one would wish for. It was painfully boring this perticuliar day, nothing was interesting. Sure of course he could've done some extra training with his patron. But come on...That was far from his alley.
He chuckled as he thought about his younger days. Running around, pranking people. Yeah he was quite the trouble maker. His small smile soon turned into a slight shiver once he remembered the harsh punishments his mom would give him after. "Seventeen...I'm pratically a grown man. K felt another wind blow except this one caught his attention. "Am I being...Watched?" The boy's mind said to him. "If so..Better be prepared." K tried his hardest to hold back an intense smile hoping for a fight.
After all, the boy loved violence. Well anything that allowed punishment, a trait inherited on the maternal side. His mother, was his biggest rival, role model, and apparently his enemy. He tighted his gloves slyly whilst still walking to prepare himself. Maybe he was a bit edgy, and was hoping for what wasn't there. But there was...a slight chance, that he was correct. Someone could be watching him from afar. And if so,well hey. This day was about to get a whole lot more interesting.

Her mind was absent. It was running through the green fields close to her home, completely unaware or unwilling to remember the dangers that The Sea of Grass had within itself. All she could think of was that lovely, elegant, brown horse.
Aleksi's face starting to show pain as her eyes filled with tears. She missed her, deeply. Ever day of that trip so far has been nothing but constant running through the memories she had of Tebridiar. Memories that were not always beautiful. Like the ones of scars on her soft back, whip marks, claw marks... marks much like those the young girl helped heal on Aleksi. Or the ones of hearing about slavers taking her away, breaking all the dreams this young Drykas had in a split second.
You promised to keep her safe.... And you failed, both yourself and her... she is probably getting all of those scars beaten in again, while you are sitting here, the girl gripped onto the grass, growling and feeling warm streams run down her cheeks. She was so weak, so damn weak. Everything she has even been taught went out the window the first time she saw that young Kelvic and it never came back.
Hearing Luc growl made the girl snap out of her misery. The cat was on its feet and sniffing, looking at something. Getting up herself, she softly started following the cat as it explored. Tilting her head and noticing a man walk down the path next to the tree she was behind. After a deep breath, she yelled out Luc, no, come back! as she noticed the cat run. She had no idea what had gotten over him, probably the coat floating around in the air but she knew that she had to stop him.
Luc wouldn't harm anyone without Aleksi ordering him to, but seeing a large, hunting feline head your way was never pleasant. Running towards him, she kept calling until the cat finally stopped, at the very edge of the road, looking at the man with its head tilted. Aleksi, barely able to breath, peeked up with an embarrassed look on her face I am so, so, so sorry! He must have seen your cloak.. and wanted to play with it! I am really sorry!, yanking on the cat's fur just a bit, as a punishment and mumbling in Pavi You are so bad! Look what you have gotten me into now!

Kisetukai wrote:Strolling. Is that would you would call this? And if so, strolling down what? K had been walking a bit and was completly unaware as to where he was walking. "It..Doesn't add up." The young man mumbled to himself. "I still need to figure out a purpose." The young trouble maker had been distant all day. He wasn't truly paying attention to where he was going, looking down for a while, occasionally looking up just to see if he had finally hit something interesting.
Soon the boy began to fall into a small state of depression. "Lame! Today is so-" His shouting in his mind was instantly halted as he heard..footsteps? No it was running...More like thudding against the ground. K began to slow down so he could figure out what direction it was coming from. Whatever it was, was definetly big in size to have such a heavy step. And it was approaching at an increasing speed. But what?...Kise quickly looked up as he found the direction of the intruder.
His face soon flushed of emotion once he saw what was charging at him. A tiger...A tiger..A lion? K wasn't very good with animals. Perhaps it was a large mountain cat? Whatever it was had no intention of stopping and it was coming in with power. "A tiger?" K's mind still kept asking. "What the petch?!" After all this wasn't an everyday event. Even though his mind was still a little foggy about what he was looking at. It was huge!
The beast was running at a speed that was, even though a bit worrying, impressive. After all K could always appreciate awesomeness when he saw it. He didn't jump back or try to run instead he stood there. His heart pumping from a multitude of emotions. Fear...Excitement...Joy... He was happy that the gods had finally put a bit of excitement in his day. He awaited the beast to get in his range so he would try, although sure he'd miss, to land a blow.
His fist wouldn't do much damage because he was wearing his simple white knuckle-less gloves, and not his gaunlets. He was a little suprised when the beast suddenly stopped. Tilting it's head playfully? Or was it gently? Either way the hostility or nature just totally changed. But that wasn't the important part, the important part was the pretty girl that followed out after it. The wind blew a bit but slowly rested and died out. There K stood as the girl pleaded and told him how sorry she was.
Normally he would have been lashed out on her, being a commoner, but she slightly intrigued him. Was she even a commoner? She had a multitude of...tatts? This chick was rough, so it was a bit weird to see her explaining her apologies. He finished catching his breath as his heart calmed down. "So you just let your tiger thing run loose like that?" K said in a soft yet carefree voice. He was a bit still in shock, but decided he would try to have some fun with this girl. Hopefully he wouldn't push it too far, and she would command her tiger or whatever it was to attack him.
He didn't want to make her sad though, just tease her a bit. "You know...Around here those things aren't even allowed." He sighed as he decided not to walk near her, after all he could've died? "What if your tiger ate me? You would've had a decent amount of arrows flying your way." "Killing someone is wrong...But someone of my position?..." He stopped as his pride began to spill out. He awaited her response by not looking her in the eyes...For if he did he would've bursted out with laughter. Hopefully he could keep up his joke for a while. Hopefully it was a joke to her. Hopefully.

Aleksi's face was terrified, not being sure how the man would react to a huge hunting feline charging him. Even in Endrykas, Luc used to do this, getting her in so much trouble and getting both of them punished. Seeing the poor man breath that fast made her feel quite bad. That cat was such a disaster.
Hearing him speak with so much pride in her voice made her frown. There was nothing so special about him that meets the eye, really, at least to her. The white coat was difficult to maintain and so were the gloves so she find that almost stupid really. But then again, he seemed to live in a city, not wilderness like her, so somehow she doubted that he would understand her thoughts.
Her shoulders shrugged lightly, as she added with a bit of annoyance The petching thing has years in it and is still acting like he is only months old.... As for not being allowed around here, I have no intention of going inside the city, so I am not too worried. She completely ignored his words on the so called "status" because for Aleksi, the only status that existed in life was the one people would earn by proving to be good fighters.
The just, innocent words about killing someone was wrong made her chuckle. It's not like she had any other option most of the time? Eventually, one starts to develop a love towards blood. Some form of thirst... passion for killing. For feeling the life squeeze out of a person's body because of you. Shaking her head, she mumbled something about being strangely twisted before forcing a smile and adding In your culture maybe... in mine, it's quite common really doing her best not to laugh as she presented herself and her people as savages, murderers even monsters.
Tilting her head some, she extended an arm, adding after that Aleksi, pleased to meet you, in the most polite of ways. It surely didn't support her words from before, to act like that, but she knew that contrasts within people always made them even more interesting, so why not give it a go.

Gods! This girl had spunk, or whatever you called it. She was definetly...opinionated. He decided to stop his slight teasing, after all this foreigner wasn't having it. The talking that she did though made it seem like she was literally a savage. She had so many tattoos it's like she was a d-. If only K had paid attention in school he would've know what exactly she was. But as she rambled on about stuff he found it hard to admire her. After all...A guy has to appreciate a good figure.
This girl was definetly something that intrigued him. He had to find out more, even if she was a bit dangerous. After all it was such a boring day, and this girl was his gift from the gods. He walked a bit closer as she extended and arm and chose to shake her hand. Aleksi...That was her name. He liked it. "Heh..Aleksi huh?" He said with a serious smile. "That's pretty cute." "I'm Kisetukai, I guess since your not from her you don't really care about my rank or squad." He looked at her giant cat and chuckled a bit. "Wow...I'm not gonna lie I want one of these, very badly now." He added as he slyly put some of his honey candy in his mouth.
"So...Aleksi what brought you here?" He tried to make small talk while he tried to remember about the girls people. He know he heard about them in school but he just couldn't remember anything to save his life. "And what's up with all the tatts and stuff...?" He hoped that wasn't really too personal for her as he asked. Folding his arms as he awaited her response, the gentle wind blows between here and there felt nice now. He wasn't gonna lose this one...Not today.

Aleksi's eyes moved all over the man, taking in every detail of his expressions, movement, clothing and hair as well as his voice. He seemed classy. Like those travelers that came through Endrykas, bought jewelery as a reminder of where they'd been and left nothing but rubbish all over the place. She hated them really, them and their fancy perfumes and beautiful dresses. The men were just too cheesy and women.. well, women were just weak.
Shaking her head a bit to clear her thoughts, she listened to him comment on her name. Yes, she was right, they were cheesy. Her name, along with the rest of her was far from cute. She was a warrior, for the love of all Gods! Frowning quietly, she pushed her hair back, away from her forehead and scratched Luc's head with her other hand. It was somewhat annoying and disrespectful for him to just "want one of those" as if Luc was a toy.
My father died, and no one in my Clan is breeding them anymore as far as I know, she added before turning around to see if Night was doing well. The hair moving through her hair annoyed her to a point where she just couldn't help herself anymore. Unwrapping a leather strap from around her wrist, she started to braid her hair into a very simple braid on the side of her head, because keeping it in one place was the most important thing then.
For a man that lived within the city, he didn't seem to know much about other cultures. The way he asked about her windmarks and other tattoos was just as disrespectful as the comments about her animal companions. The girl rolled her eyes before lifting them to meet his. Her voice was still quiet and emotionless I'm a Drykas... the tattoos are a part of our culture... they are marks that we carry... and as for why am I here.. well, I am looking for a friend that has been taken away

"No more of those bug tigers huh?" K mumbled to himself. He was a bit disappointed, for he was actually a little interested in the beast. "That's a good thing, you wouldn't have been able to actually keep one you know." Kise said being slightly pessimistic. "But...Yeah your right." K replied to him. He looked intently as the girl began to play with her hair. He thought of calling it cute, but she seemed like the type that would pounce on him like that tiger thing if he would've said so. He was then shocked once she finally announced her race.
Dryka. Dryka! "Kise she's a dryka!" K said in his mind to Kise. It was hard to contain his excitement, for he had heard of them briefly but had loved the little he heard. "So your a dryka, the people who..." K stopped as his words came to a halt. He looked at her a bit more as he secretly took a step back. "Kise...Are you sure?" he thought on the inside. "Positive. To be honest..I'm not quite sure why it took me so long to pick up on it." K said back to him warningly. "I advise we leave this one alone K, normally I'd let you have your fun. But their people are known to be dangerous and slightly...Sporadic."
"But maybe she isn't like the rest. Maybe just maybe...She is normal?" K said back to him. He put on a fake smile so that Aleksi wouldn't see his nervousness, hopefully that fake smile could buy him some time. "Well..They aren't really that bad." Kise warned him. "I mean she really isn't in her natural habitat, so I guess we have home field advantage huh?" "Yeah.." K said finally deciding to speak to the girl.
"Well...I'm sorry if I disrespected your heritage." K said finally noticing her feedback of his attitude. K smiled as he also began to remember her last statement. "A friend?" He said softly. "Could you elaborate?" He stepped a bit closer to her. "I trust while you are hear, you will control your tiger and yourself." His syliran pride kicking in but being contained. "Tell me...Everything." He said firmly, becoming serious. "As a future knight I think I should see to this." "It's good training besides..." He mumbled in his mind to Kise. He gave Aleksi a sharp yet calming glare awaiting her replies.

His words about Luc just made her eyes roll. It was unbelievable that someone would even consider her not being able to keep him. Gods, he was a friend, not a pet. Humans were so strange in that aspect. Anything that wasn't their race, they considered lower. Well.. at least she thought he was a human. There was nothing special about him that caught her eye.
When the overly excited "You're a Dryka" came from behind his lips, she shook her head again. He seemed more than fascinated by the idea of meeting a Drykas woman. So fascinated that she had this really weird urge to make sure he never gets so excited in his life, ever again. Sighing and trying to clear her mind from those thoughts, she scratched Luc's head gently, making the cat nearly purr.
For some reason, the man seemed lost in his own mind for a few tics and Aleksi could swear that she saw his lips move, as if he was having a conversation with himself within it, but she really couldn't be bothered reacting about it. All she wanted, there and then was for that encounter to end, since it didn't seem as if he had any form of excitement or even a solid conversation to offer her.
Hearing him say that he was sorry made her nod. Not even a glimpse of a smile could be seen on her face. She wasn't amused. She was indifferent in the most cold of ways one could be. When the man brought Tebridiar as a subject again, she did her best to keep in a growl. It was still a sore spot. Shaking her head a bit, she took a deep breath and calmed down. As soon as she did so though, the man invaded her private space, making her literally growl at him in the most animalistic way a person could. Her hands moved up as if to keep his body away from her Boy, you need to take a step back, I don't appreciate anyone standing that close, especially men
Frowning after saying that, she took another look at the man before, claiming to be a future Knight. It nearly made her laugh. A Knight? Him? Gods, he would not be near a practice dummy in Endrykas, especially around her Davon... My Davon, she thought to herself, biting on her bottom lip and taking a deep breath. That man was getting close to her heart, a whole lot closer than she wanted him to. Maybe not in a way everyone was expecting, but he was still there, still a huge part of her life.

This wasn't good. K could sense the atmosphere growing the wet molds of awkwardness as the conversation pressed on and grew dull. He began to think to himself a bit. Then thought about it. "Well Dryka girl..." His temper had increased as his patience ran out. Taking a small step back as she instructed he announced his plan for some fun. "Can you fight? Of course you can what am I saying...What I'm saying is the best of all things." He smiled as he pointed at her sharply yet lazily with his right index finger. His back facing the town, her's facing the wild, he chuckled a bit. "We will both be representing our towns. Our homes...Our honor." He knew that this was eager and uncalled for but when would one get another chance to fight against a Drykas? He knew that they were fighters...Or at least thought of theirself as so so this was perfect.
She couldn't refuse.
He smiled a bit as he walked past her, his feet instantly stepping on the grass. "I prefer we fight in the woods perhaps, or would you like a body full of arrows by my friends?" He said glancing at some guards by the gates. He popped his knuckles a bit, by clenching his hands into fist alternatively. Then he let loose a cocky smile. "Well let's get this show on the road...I don't have any time for anything less than your best. But no biting! I know your people like to eat anything when they are hungry." He said confusing her for a totally different race.
"Ladies first I guess, throw your best...And-" He was cut off as he was sent back to the chambers of their mind. Leaving a confused and scared Kise in control. "Oh my...Oh my." He kept mumbling as he looked around. "What's going on here?" He said looking at the girl. For he had kind of dosed off once am started being arrogant, as always, and thus leaving himself clueless. He stared at the girl for an answer. "Nice...To meet you?" Kise said shyly.
