33rd Of Spring 513 AV

A long day. A very long day

K had been working all day, which was unusual, but because of the lack of personality switching this was his fate. Running around all day had it's benefits though, he had constantly been on the eyes of many. This man...Sadly, was in his prime in his mind. Meaning he knew that he was perfect, he thought that he was perfect, even the girls told him he was perfect. Well most at least, most of the girls of Syliras knew not of his name but of his game. Perhaps this was a title given to him bequeathed by himself? Perhaps it was an honor manifested by his pride? For he never knew because he never pondered. He never questioned his talent, his power, his...Being.

The young man, being freshly seventeen years old, had always been raging with energy. Since his coming of age however, he had been more sexually active. Speaking to women with no seduction...But bluntness. He knew no tactics to seduce a women, no tactics to make her beg, no tactics of foreplay. He only knew one thing and that was, what to do inside the bedroom. Sometimes in the woods, but that was a story for another time. As this day progressed he began to feel fatigued. He had been had, by the clutches of awesomeness. He had been hustling deals and talking to people gathering information, being his prideful self, he only associated with those of a hire class. The only contact he had with commoners were women, and even then they had to be beautiful or very good with their ways.

Now the boy had found himself...In the place that he really considered one of the lowest. The rearing stallion. He had not really so much as hated the establishment but more of the gathering of commoners. However this was their turf, so he would certainly choose to respect, or this would end up in a bar fight. Which in the end would end up in..Ser Corben and the knights making him do exercises. He shivered at the thought of such an idea, after all he was just pointing it out, they did the poor part on their own.

He looked around and had noticed all the couples, all the looking in each others eyes and love filling the air. "Love...Heh." He muttered to himself. "Who needs it...Who needs them." He hadn't talked to Kise all day. So the loneliness was very understandable. Here he sat, at a table...By himself. Inside the swamp of love and good times. Of course he could always walk up to a female and say that he was a squire and needed her ..."Service." But that didn't feel like it would help, it didn't feel like it would feel in the void. He was tired of just sex. There was no work, there was no emotion. The girls really didn't remember him, they really didn't care much for his name. He was just a simple guy when it came to the subject...He wasn't a master. He pulled out his Tamo daggers and looked at his reflection in both together. Letting out a deep sigh he asked the gods softly, "Am I...Worth it?" He said with a lot of heart. "When will I be worth it."

What was he doing here? Seriously. What. Was. He. Doing. Here? He knew it wasn't good. He'd never been run off from a place by a woman before, so why did he let her do it? Maybe it's because she worked here. It was one thing to burn a patron, but when the person at the receiving end of his actions was someone who served your drinks, well, it was a dangerous prospect indeed. Was it habit that drove him here? Exhaustion after bell upon bell of training would leave him relying on muscle memory. As as always, he'd try and grab a seat that had a view of anyone entering, but these days his endurance was tested elsewhere, not with a pretty woman walking through the door. The last real success he had fell into his lap, after all.

Yet there Orion sat, a mug in his hand, and a weary look on his face. Constant soreness plagued as his feeble doctor frame was slowly being morphed into one of a powerful warrior. Or at least someone who could hold a blade properly. He wasn't disillusioned about being the greatest combatant which Syliras had ever bore witness to. He was a simple medic, one who would run around and stitch up wounded fighters, that's all. Stab things if needed, but he wasn't recruited because of his foe slaying abilities, that was easy enough to realize.

For now he would forget it all in ale. The failures, the occasional...very occasional successes, the soreness, the bruises, welts, swelling, and general hurting, all of it disappeared in a cold mug of inebriation. He paid little mind to those around, though, he couldn't help but notice a particularly attractive and more than well endowed brunette sitting a few tables over. A gal's night out, it seemed. Gossiping, chattering, blabbing about nothingness. That would be fun to get into the middle of, if it weren't such a dangerous waltz to dance. He smirked, looked down into his drink, and let out a quiet chuckle before he muttered to himself.

"Never thought that would cross my mind. Must be getting old.."

This was not fun...Not at all. K normally could make any situation fun for himself, possibly for others if he allowed friends in his circle. He looked at his hands, then thought about his whole body, for one day his beauty would be flawed by a scar. At seventeen years old with a mother like he had, he was surprised he didn't have one, the only etchings on this body were tattoos. But those were for sexual escapades, not vicious battles he had protecting citizens, the city... [b. His honor.[/b]

He scanned the room, looking for a waiter, someone who can help him get some service. There were some nice people out tonight...Some. Preferably the brunette that was going off at the mouth. After all he just wanted a one nighter, not to put a ring on it. K swiftly tightened his fist popping his knuckles, with a cocky smile he stood up, pretty confident. "Well...Let's go do what I do best." He walked over to her table, surpassing a sea of other tables, keeping his deadly brown eyes locked on her. It actually took a while to get them off her breast to her eyes, for he had seen many but...Breast were breast no matter how you looked at them. He slyly pulled a chair from an occupied table nearby and sat at the girl's table surrounded by her friends, sitting in the chair arrogantly backwards, rest his head in his folded arms on the back of the chair. "So...What we talking about."

He heard some of the girls giggle, of course not in pity or anything else, but probably the fact that he graced them with his presence. He looked around and gave all the girls a cute grin, full of cockiness and confidence. He turned his attention back to the brunette. "Hello..." He said acting like he didn't really care. "Hello sir." she replied. "You ever been with a squire?" The girls instantly gasped, giving him the impression that the answer was no, for a rare occasion indeed. "Excuse me?" the brunette exclaimed. K growing tiresome already looked at the girl dully losing his smile. "I'm pretty bored...Let's go have some sex."

Could one be more blunt?

Instantly some drink of sorts, was splashed in his face. Shaking his head as if he understood he got up and returned to his table, confused he sat down. "What the petch..." He mumbled. "Was I speaking a riddle?" He licked his lips, the taste of the liquid disgusting him, for he didn't drink. There wasn't much in the cup, but enough to were he had to wipe his face with his elegant cloak.

"Well..." This is a bust. "I guess I better get ready to go soon." "First though...Let me think more about this." Rejection wasn't something he came across much, but it always hurt, and more or less confused him. Letting out a sigh, he lowered his head to the palm of his right hand, placing his elbow on the table. Now what?

Just about that time when Orion figured he'd mosey on over and see what those ladies were up to, someone beat him to the punch. A cocky teenager, a boy who had no place going after a woman of her caliber. This was going to be good.

Up he strutted, confident, arrogant. He was sure he was going to get some, wasn't he? No subtlety, no class about his approach. While it might work on some women, by the way these woman were speaking, he knew it didn't have a chance. Standing there gawking, his gaze directly on her assets, the boy was forward, if nothing else. Before the women could react, he'd pulled up a chair and joined them, completely uninvited.

The women looked around, laughing nervously as they looked to each other for support. They clearly didn't want him there. It was a girl's night, after all, and he wasn't welcome. Not that you could tell that by the dumb look on his face. Orion could only judge too much, as his first time really trying to pick up women hadn't gone much better. Still, it was quite a show to watch.

What did he just say!?

Orion buried his face in his hands, trying to stifle the laughter. It was a pathetic display, no way around it. Orion's first night picking up women, well, he didn't approach them with the same level of cockiness. Equal counts of failure, though. But oh, it was all too much. He had to see more. Hopefully this man had some persistence about it, or at least had some other targets in sight. While the brunette was the cream of the crop this evening, there were several good looking women who weren't quite so offended as she now was. It never did much good for your chances to get rejected so publicly, though.

He had been, in this wretched hellhole of a place known as the rearing stallion, as it was clouded and gorged with beautiful women. "Wait why were there so many women?..." K mumbled to himself. "Wait why the petch am I sitting here contemplating doing math and shyke when...." The boy slowly rised up, with an eager smile on his face. "Round two....Begin." He said as he scoped the whole area around, looking for a new target. "Oh...Gotcha!" He said as he saw a woman with jet black hair. "Well...Not to fancy but breast are breast..."

He crept like a sly snake, to this unsuspecting girl, sitting at the table just like last time.

"Hello...Do you mind if I join you?" He said, trying to switch it up this time. "Well...No not at all." The woman said as she stopped eating her meal. She was sitting alone unlike the last victim of his lust, and she wasn't as mature looking, perhaps she was though...You never know. Her breast weren't as big, nor as obvious as the last, but then again...

Breast were breast.

"So..." The woman said as she gave him a look. "Oh!" K said with a chuckle, hoping she didn't catch him staring at her chest, hopefully... "I'm a squire...Kisetukai Yamehaka...Pleased to meet you my lady." He watched as she nodded in confirmation. "Ok nice to meet you young patron...My name is-" The woman's words were instantly blurred and slurred out as K found his attention back on her chest. She was looking up as she spoke, probably feeling that she was talking to a more mature man, but this wasn't the case. "Uh huh.." K muttered out as he stared and tried to penetrate her apparel with his gazing eyes.

She looked down as she finished her self induced speech, seeing the boy admiring her body, extremely displeased. "Gods!" She exclaimed as she slapped him instantly, causing his cheek to sting and his face to turn. Without looking back at her, he just slid out of the chair and returned to his, happy it wasn't took. Banging his head on the table like an annoyed kid, which he was, he felt totally destroyed.

"By the gods...These women tonight don't know how to had fun." He sighed a bit as he stopped banging his head, placing his right leg up on the chair, propping up his head on his knee. "Know...Where have I seen this before?" He lowered his knee quickly and sat normally, beginning to question himself. "Am I...Not as cool as I thought?" He began to look depressed until he blurted out. "Nah!" A smile quickly crept back up on his face, ready to pounce on the next female his deadly gaze lied upon.

Who's next?

[The Rearing Stallion] The King Meets The King (Orion)

It seemed he had his entertainment for the knight. It was going to be glorious. It was going to be hilarious. And gods, it was going to be pathetic. There was this boy, this boy who seemed to think he was a gift to women. That he was bestowed upon them by the gods themselves. There was no class, no tact, no subtlety. He didn't build attraction, he didn't have a look, he didn't dress the part. All he really had going for him was that he was fairly well built. A fighter's frame, if he'd seen one. But the moment he opened his mouth, utter failure. A disgrace. He was over matched, and it didn't help he went for the cream of the crop.

There was confidence, and then there was stupidity. It was a fine line, that was sure enough. It had taken Orion some time to figure it out, some time to realize just how to straddle that line and not make a fool of himself. Seduction was an art, not a science. There were rules, but they were flexible. No laws, no certainties. What might work on one would never in a million years work on another. He was a child on a battlefield.

"Oh boy.."

Orion watched as the dark skinned teen found himself with another failure. Walking up to a black haired beauty and staring at her chest. Nothing made a woman feel attraction like you making it clear she's nothing but meat to you. How hopeless.

The worst thing about his display, the worst thing about his terrorizing of the ladies of The Rearing Stallion? Everyone was already off limits. So turned off by his stomping around, spouting offensive nonsense, staring like a creep, while somehow managing to drip of arrogance. It was too much.

"Boy," he shouted, waving him over. "Come sit down before you ruin all these women for the rest of us."

It had been a pretty good knight so far...So far he had attempted at about what two girls? And if you minus the two failures he had earlier...It was actually pretty good so far. He looked around slyly as he prowled for his next. It wasn't long before he looked around and scoped on one of the prettiest so far...She must had just entered the tavern, for him to notice her so late. She was a red head...One of the most feistiest in his book, a rare prize indeed. He smiled at the thought of getting with her, kind of a "count your chickens before they hatch" kind of moment. She had it all, hips, back, and most importantly...Breast. It was easy to see K was very one minded this night, that was no riddle. He began to contemplate what he should do, after all this girl was totally different from the others, blessed of course.

"Maybe..I should approach her different?" He mumbled to himself as he began to think. "Maybe I should..." With a quick sharp gasp his young youthful face became bright, as he thought he had found the ultimate solution. "I will come up behind her, whisper in her ear...And grab her breast from behind!" He shouted in his mind as he rubbed his hands, he was surely going to get this one, but he was stopped. He heard a voice, a voice that was merry and amused. He turned to see a man, or at least he thought, for it was a mere glance. K instantly became annoyed, for he didn't have time to talk to this poor commoner...There was someone greater in the area. This woman. "Boy," he shouted, waving him over. "Come sit down before you ruin all these women for the rest of us." Ruin?...This guy had some nerve upsetting the prince, no the king, of awesome.

As he walked to the man, his face...Looked familiar. For some reason he did, he just...Did. K took a seat next to the man, a bit confused and still trying to find his identity. "What...I am very busy." He said with a bit of arrogance in his tone. "I don't expect you to understand old man." He said with a chuckle. "But first...I am squire Kisetukai Yamehaka...Squire of Ser Corben." He gave the man an annoyed look of eagerness. "Not that you deserved it...But Uh..Who are you?" K for sure thought this was some jealous drunk man, trying to steal his thunder, and he wouldn't have it. Even if this was a bad night for him, even though he was pretty sure he was doing nothing wrong, he was pretty confident he was better than all the poor souls that hung out here. "So?..." He said softly. This guy better have a good explanation...

Even when speaking with Orion, the boy reeked of confidence. Nothing was worse than then it was unbacked. The former doctor regarded the young man's words quietly, giving him an unimpressed look as he spoke down to him. A squire? Unbelievable. His patron must not have taught him anything. And that's coming from me. It was hard to believe. They'd taken Orion in as a squire, knowing he was like this. But Orion was more..refined. Nothing like this. Not this mockery to pick up artists and playboys everywhere. "A squire, hmm? Interesting. I'm surprised this is the image you want to project. You'll be known as Ser Yamehaka, The Woman Repellent. Quite a title, wouldn't you agree?"

Orion took a slow, drawn out drink from his mug before addressing any of Kisetukai's questions. The boy needed to learn some patience. "I'm Orion Michaels, former doctor, perpetual ladies' man." While Orion always spoke with confidence regarding the fairer sex, he would take it up a few steps here, for the 'Amazing Kisetukai's' sake. He thought he was apex predator in this tavern, when he was little more than a newborn foal. "So I'm assuming, if you slept with anyone at all, it's been with wide eyed teenage girls who didn't know what they were doing? But now you want a woman. A real woman." He shook his head before taking another long draw. "Best of luck. Squire or not, this harassment is gonna get you in trouble. You're not ready for a real woman at all. Why don't you go on back to the dorms," he goaded, "and see if you can get another doe eyed squire-ling to warm your bed. This is no place for children."

Talk to Orion like you're better than him, and his own, while very metaphorical, claws would come out. Even the Zith showed more tact when sizing up their prey. By the gods this one had a lot to learn.

By now, Kise's failures, and Orion's calling him out had made somewhat a scene, with a vast majority of the tavern's patrons looking at the two squires. The group with the brunette was of particular interest, or at least the brunette was. Orion slid his gaze over to her, catching her eyes and raising his brows to let her know that he'd caught her. The woman averted her eyes, a faint blush coming to her cheeks. Thanks to Kise, this woman was already baited and hooked, all Orion had to do was bring her in. "If you'll excuse me, my Lord of Seduction."

Orion stood and walked over to the table where he'd observed the young squire's first failure. "My apologies, ladies. I'm sure you were just trying to enjoy an evening out. Allow me to recoup you for that drink you wasted on him."

"Oh, sir, there's no need," she replied, still unable to make eye contact with the blue eyed man.

"I insist," he interrupted, moistening his lips with his tongue, nipping at the tip of it as it retreated back into his mouth. "In fact, drinks for all you lovely ladies, on me. I don't even expect anything back." He motioned to the bartender to provide the women with whatever they wish and made his way back over to his seat, picking up his mug, glancing over to the brunette occasionally, catching her looking his way each time. Her girl friends were all up in gossip again, but her mind was elsewhere, that was clear enough. A wink from the squire sent her face turning bright red, but he didn't do anything more than that. All the work was complete. He could have his fun tonight.

"Didn't think I could save that one," he remarked to the teen. "You're still here?"

Orion...Orion! Orion Michaels. The doctor, the man of many names! Known for many things! Soft hands, his slyness, his skill, his looks, his...[i]

K looked down a bit and then quickly glanced up. For he was the one in the wrong, he was talking to... The king. He was in shock the whole time Orion spoke, only catching helpful bits and pieces of the conversation. [i]How could I have not recognized him?! The king himself, of course I have never saw him but I should have known![i] Not being able to recognize one's role model was not something one would be proud of...Of course. He looked up at Orion sadly, trying to gain a grip on the situation as thoughts processed in his head of what to do.

[i]"Your not ready for a real woman at all."
Orion said in all his greatness.

Normally this would've resulted in a possible comeback, quick witted and sharp of course. Inevitably a punch here or there but that wasn't the case here. He was in the presence of someone he respected, which according to him, was a very short list. He looked at him with a contempt face, feeling put in his place and responded happily a bit. "Yes Sir...Your right." Then K noticed that Orion was having a side conversation almost mentally, with..That girl! Orion swiftly got up and walked over to the table before K could truly ever warn him. "Neigh that one there is a bit-.." K's sentence was quickly gone as he turned and watched. "I gotta remember who I'm talking to." He added with a chuckle.

It was natural...So natural that he did it quickly...Like less than a chime quickly. Seeing the man flaunt no confidence really, or did he? It was so hard to tell, Orion was just...Really good. Indescribably good. He had that girl the moment she looked at him, and to be honest K also felt that he had the rest of her friends to...If wanted. But alas, Orion seemed fair and not one to abuse his talents. Seeing the sly devil pop back up, his work was over with before it began. Seeing the puddle of women discussing their lust and hopes, glancing back at Orion's direction...

It was beautfiful...

Seeing Orion sit back in his seat he began to speak. "Didn't think I could save that one," he remarked to the teen. "You're still here?" This caused K to let out a slight chuckle as he began to spam his hopefully soon to be friend with questions. "Orion...I am so sorry." He gave a quick headbow as his voice became for serious. "If doth deem thee worthy please forgive me." Only when trying to be respectable did Kise speak in his knightly tone. "Orion your like..My idol." He said releasing a playful chuckle. "How did you even do that back there? You got those girls-" He quickly glanced at the girls still In the thick mist of Orion's doings. "Drooling for you. How did you do it?!" He looked at him like the eager excited kid he was. "How do you do it?!" He awaited some form of response as he announced all this. Ordering the same drink as Orion with a swift flick of his hand and voice he was quickly served. Turning to face his idol he watched intently, taking mental notes, hoping not to miss a thing.

He hadn't expected that reaction from the boy. Shock. Anger. Furstration. Any of those, but not for him to suddenly become..humble? The attitude, the arrogance, the annoying way he carried himself all became more studious, and Orion wasn't quite sure how to take it. It was effortless to push it from his mind while he was talking with the beautiful brown haired woman, but it all came roaring back when he returned to the table to find that boy still sitting there, like a puppy loyal to its master's command. The words which came out of his mouth next were even more shocking.

All Orion could do was tilt his head to the side as the man fired off sentence after sentence, praise after praise, question after question. Wasn't this just rich? His reputation preceded him. Orion had dealt with many things in his life. Death. Love. Injury. Pain. Unrequited feelings. Lust. Angry women. Very, very, happy women. Then angrier women. But this. This was brand new. He had someone who idolized him for his boorish ways. Not only that, he expected him to share his secrets. Unbelievable.

"Well doesn't that just beat all," he began, sizing up his want to be protege. Orion could remember what it was like to be a teenager. It wasn't that long ago. Yet, even his hormones weren't bubbling over like this one's were. The naivety to believe there was really one trick to deal with women and have them stripping down to the skin for you. "I don't know if I can fix you," he remarked bluntly. No one ever called Orion good at teaching. "But I can tell you one thing. Before you worry about what you do, there's so much wrong with what you're already doing you need to fix." He crossed his arms, contemplating his next words. Everything was all wrong. So he'd have to look at this in the way he understood the best.

Like a doctor would. Most life threatening, or in this case, sexy time chances threatening, down to the least.

"You can't just...look at them like meat." That was easy enough?

"I mean. Man. That was awful. Women aren't dumb. If you're trying to get a classier woman like that. You..just can't do what you did." Orion started shaking his head back and forth slowly. The more it sunk in the more it was surprising that some woman hadn't castrated him. Though Orion had received a million and one slaps his first night out, falling flat on his face more times than he could remember. "Even if that's all you think of them, you can't be so..blunt. Not with most. Not with the type you're trying to get. Your teenage squires. Tell them they've got a nice rack and I bet you they'll show it. Do it here, and, well...you've been first hand witness."

"I just don't know. The key is observation. You're clueless to their reaction, too caught up in you. I got slapped in the face by their 'not interested' vibes. Did you seriously not notice?" Well of course he didn't. That's why he kept running his head into the solid stone wall that was the will of these women.
