The Konti smiled at Arandolya with a measure of warmth she couldn't help but reciprocate in her glittering amber gaze. The blond with her petite body and glitter scales are alluring exotic, though Arandolya said nothing until she spoke. "Hello. Yes, I don't mind if you sit by me since I am on a mission to get nice and drunk tonight!" The two of them laughed and Arandolya raised her full drink in salute.
"Then we are one and the same, Konti," she chuckled. The woman before her gave a small tilted smile as she added, "Besides who could pass up a conversation with a beautiful woman like yourself..."

Arandolya flushed disarmingly, but broke into gentle laughter as she settled beside the waif of a lady. "If you are looking to speak with a beautiful woman, a mirror might be more likely," she chuckled, taking a sip of her drink. Amber eyes watching the others drift off, Arandolya turned to the lady at her side. Golden gaze meeting violet, Arandolya smiled with a small quirk.
"Yes, I am Iosha Moonchaser, and may I ask you your name?"
"Arandolya," she said with a friendly tone. "Toast, m'dear Iosha, to getting drunk," the hunter added, tapping her glass lightly against the Konti's before tipping her head back and draining it.

Setting the glass on the table beside her Arandolya offered Iosha her hand. "Let's not sit like two old singles at a bar, let us dance!" The woman felt invigorated by the up-beat atmosphere, and the alcohol soon to begin racing into her veins. The fact that a radiant Konti with exotic violet eyes was being friendly only made Arandolya happier, and the wish to dance practically made her feet jitter. She had forgotten how much it was to have a drink!

Iosha peered over her glass as she watched the woman named Arandolya start to blush at her complement. Iosha violet eyes twinkled with curiosity when the woman complemented her own beauty, and she replied modestly to the Inarta hunter, “If you ever make it to Mura, there are far more beautiful than me. Honestly, I am quiet plain compared to the beauties of my island.” When Arandolya offered her a toast, Iosha raised her glass and gently tapped in on the rim of the woman's glass, and she downed her drink and slammed it on the table. When she looked up, and she started to feel her head move to the music. Iosha smiled widened when Arandolya offered her a hand. She reached up and pulled herself from out of the seat, and Iosha leaned closer to Arandolya and whispered in her ear, “I have a secret, Aran. I have no clue how to dance, so you might have to show me a few moves.” Iosha watched to the crowd, and she smiled inviting to the young man who she was eying before. The young Inarta with long crimson hair tipped his drink to her and started talk to his friend. Iosha smiled and said loud enough for Arandolya to hear, “We might have some company on the dance floor!” The konti could tell she was feeling the effects of the alcohol as she and Arandolya walked out into the crowded dance floor.

Still holding Arandolya hand, Iosha allowed the hunter to lead her to the dance floor. She walked the other Inarta as they grind into each other. She let go of Arandolya hand and started to sway to the music. She must of looked like a idiot, but the drink started to kick in, and she closed her eye and slowly started to move her body to the music. She tried not to let her dancing get to exaggerated as she kept her arm down at her sides. It was nice to let the music move her body, and she opened her eyes watching the Arandolya dancing next to her. She looked around her, and she could see the lights dance off the sweaty bodies of the humans around her. Iosha reached up and pulled her already sweaty blond hair back and closed her eyes once again. Suddenly, Iosha felt hand gently touch the side of her hips, and she didn't move away since she could feel the sweaty chest on the small of her back. She kept her hands in the air as she looked back to see the handsome Inarta with golden eyes. She recognized him as the man, she smiled at before Arandolya came to her table. Iosha smirked playfully at Arandolya, and she rested her hands on his hands as she moved to the movements of his body.

ImageIshgrameer only barely heard Kitchi over the roar of the throng that flowed around them. "I am an owl. An eagle-owl to be more exact" he said still trying to maintain some confidence in the motions he was trying to pass off as dancing. He was not horrible, but he doubted that he looked like he was doing good, and it didn't help that his height made him stand out to pretty much everyone.

His gaze, focused as it was naturally, was upon Kitchi, and he could not notice much else. The colors swimming all around him and the shifting bodies raised the heat of the room. The music played through his ears, entrancing him. After some time he noticed Iosha, and the other woman arrive upon the dance floor.

He was growing mildly weary of the dancing for it did not suit him the way he thought it might be pleasing, but he appreciated the company that Kitchi offered none the less. He decided to go get a drink. "I am going to get another drink if you'd care to join me?" he said as he began to endeavor his way towards the bar.

The movements were unusual to her, she did not really dance and was not sure it suited her well. A few of the dancers had seemed to slip into their own world, aside from everyone else. Kitchi imagined the alcohol was very much to blame.
"I am an owl. An eagle-owl to be more exact" The words tumbled over the other sounds, the throbbing of music and voices that spread out around her. For a moment Kitchi did not realise that the voice had come from her companion. She mused over the words, an owl? Her Inartan nature was pleased by this fact, she would have been proud to have another form as a noble bird. The sway of bodies continued around them, moving in time to the music as they both attempted to remain within the group. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted two women making their way into the crowd, she ignored it thinking it nothing but she remembered the blond haired woman. At least Iosha had found someone to talk to and wasn’t alone.
"I am going to get another drink if you'd care to join me?" Ishgrameer continued, starting to break away from the flow of the crowd. Kitchi smiled, glad for the break from dancing.
“I’d love to” Kitchi stated, following the tall Kelvic to the bar. “How much do you think the drinks are? I’ve never been here before” She laughed, starting to flicker her fingers through the scraps of glass coins she had produced.

Ardal and Kanri clumsily moved around each other. He stepped on her toes a couple of times but she didn’t seem to notice or perhaps just didn’t mind. It didn’t take too long to match each other’s movements. She tried to throw in a few advanced moves and he had to catch her a few times as she fell into him; laughing together after each time. He didn’t even notice a crowd after a while; he was having too much fun to be embarrassed.

At the completion of the song, they applauded the musicians’ talents. She had then pulled him in close and invited him to follow her to get some water. He looked over to the table and sees that the others seemed to have paired off leaving the table just about empty. “Yeah, let me grab my drink and I’ll catch up to you.” He hustled off back to the table and grabbed the mug, and caught up to her. He had hardly drunk any yet; he didn’t really care for the taste, and would likely nurse it for the rest of the event.

Free drinks for all!

Postby Kanri on April 7th, 2013, 11:44 pm

Kanri asked the Barkeeper for some water. It took him a minute to figure out she was only asking for water, and not something else. Most people probably didn’t go to bars for water, after all. However, in the end she got what she asked for and went with Ardal back to the table their party had taken over to sit for a minute. Kanri was lazy at times and had less stamina for parties then some of the crazy party-goers. If she just sat for a song or two, she'd be ready for another dance. She looked to see if Ardal was more restless than she was. She didn’t want to keep him from dancing but she just ran out of ideas too quickly. Maybe eventually, they’d figure out more things to do on the dance floor.

"It's not easy to talk here, is it? It's alright though..." Kanri supposed. "That was really fun. Thanks for the dance. How have you been? Have you done anything really exciting lately? I haven't, sadly. But I met a new friend: a cat! He's really mean and doesn't like much besides food. But he lets me pet him, so that's nice. So, I decided to make a Glass Cat and I did! It’s really rough but I’m very proud of it. And then, of course, I’ve done my fair share of thinking. I hear it’s a dangerous past time, isn’t that right? What about you?"

Kanri listened to him as well as she could, leaning sideways in her seat to try to hear him. The music of this song was not quite as loud so thankfully, she did not miss most of what he said, except maybe a word here or there. She always made him stop and say it again if she missed something. She knew it was annoying to repeat something, but she would much rather hear what he had to say.

He grabbed his beer and quickly followed Kanri closely like a lonely puppy. They walked up to the bar and she got her water. They headed back to the table leading him to think to not just wait for her there to start with; it made him fell foolish. He didn’t mind that she wanted to stop dancing. He only did that in the first place because “that’s the sort of thing you do at things like this,” as they say. He was fine just sitting there, but he’d gladly dance again if she asked him. She started to speak enthusiastically as she tended to do when they talked to each other. He sat and listened close to what she had to say as they talked to one another

“Thank you for the dance I really liked it” with a smile and a laugh “sorry I’m so lousy at it … I’ve done hardly anything lately; I guess I’m not very motivated but what you have been doing sounds fun! I would love to have a job where I can make whatever I want and get the respect of the city. I’m sure you still have commissions to make as well, but those can be fun too right? I really do envy what you’re able to do for a living. And, I don’t think you should ever stop thinking! I think you have a brilliant mind. I really haven’t done much of anything myself, I enjoy reading my books but I hardly do anything interesting. I’m sorry I’m so boring.” He finished with a laugh.
