”What you call discipline, I call foolishness. Just because the rich man has more money, does that mean he should spend more?” Rayage asked, ”Especially when the task, at my current skill level, is impossible.” he again criticized Miros teaching methods. ”You teach like a child. If it can be called teaching at all.” he said, not taking Miros threat lightly. ”If this will end it sooner, then I’ll follow along to stupidity.” he told him, ”You have spent far too long with the knights and their brutish tactics.” he sighed, holding out his right hand and advancing towards Miro. There was no way he could fight against him, especially when the blue res surrounded him.

In both of his hands he started to secrete res, the red liquids flow becoming slower and slower the more he pulled and tugged on his very soul. ”Ill gamble with you.” he said, his pace slow, ”Only when we are touching?” he asked, ”You should choose your words more carefully.” he told him. The nuit stopped right in front of him, he knew he was at a disadvantage, but that didn’t mean that he couldn’t try. In the end he had no choice but to plays the childs selfish games. He bet that Miro got some sick pleasure out of this…

”Nuits are exceedingly frail.” Ray told him, ”It is why you don’t see many hand to hand combat fighters among our ranks.” Fingers on both hands straightened and res flowed to the very tips becoming much like elongated and exaggerated claws. They curved downward at an almost nasty right angle after a couple of inches, and a small orb of res stood in the center of each palm. At least he was getting the hand of shaping and controlling the res in his immediate presence. It was the shame he hadn’t the skill when the res was literally an arm’s length from him. It was something he had to work on. In fact he knew he had to work on.

Not amused at all to be bossed around with the threat of death Ray began to swipe at the boy with one hand, and flung the other one palm facing Miro to try to tag him with the res orb in the center of the palm.

The moment Rayage came at him, Miro redirected an amount of Djed Flux from his legs to his arms. His Uldr enhanced, Flux enhanced body was overkill, but he was just that foolish. He snatched the Nuit by the wrists and released the redirection. He would not let go, which meant they would continue to touch. Rayage needed to learn that putting one's self at a disadvantage could well pave the way to take a different advantage. The magic unknown was even stealthier than the spell unseen. Sometimes Res was best hidden on the body until a cocky enemy wandered in too close. Of course, that was a lesson for a later time. For now the wizard smirked and waited for his student to burn him. "Well, well, what now?"

Rayage didn’t have time to react. It was just as he predicted. The boy was far too fast for him and his grip was strong too. There was no way for him to break free of it, and Ray just looked at him, ”Did you really have to ask that question?” he asked, mentally dropping the res from his fingers and hands sending it crawling down to his wrists where miro was touching and attempting to get on his body, ”We are touching right?” he asked confidence sparking in him once more. The boy couldn’t be this foolish. Perhaps they both would learn a lesson now, uh?

The res sleeked up Miros arm and up through his clothes, spreading thin lines of res up his arm. The rest stood there attentive to only the nuits will. He, by the grace which Miro gave him, had managed to land a his spell on the Master. A wicked smile brew on Rayages face, and he felt the heat of the fire building up inside him. It was right now that the other would feel the burning sensation of his desire, of his passion, of his new found power.

"I will use this fire to protect those who kindle my passions. It will not be a fire of pure destruction, but rather a guiding light. With this fire things shall be permanently changed, and I will leave my cinder mark on the world itself. You just watch Miro." he said, with his will he felt the res ignite itself and streaks of flame spread all across his arm. The nuit had remembered what Miro had told him and used the last few seconds of control to move the fire just a little bit as to burn an even wider area of the others flesh. The smell reached his nose, and a sadistic smile came from him, "Why would someone such as you allow yourself to get burned?" he asked staring the wizard in the eyes.

"Nonetheless I did what you asked. Shall we go now?" he asked, tugging on his arms to see if Miro would let go now. If released and agreed upon they would leave, Rayage heading back to the main building of Sahova.

The walk to the Citadel was long, but the descent to Rays lab was even longer. Through the winding corridors Ray led Miro to his lab. The larger than life door came into sight and the cool metal was pushed open. Revealed to them both was the splendid and rather spacious lab of one of the most respected alchemists on the island.

Striding over to a small chest, Ray opened the wooden container and rummaged through it. Halting when he found what he wanted, he pulled the fabric out. A silver sheen in his hands, it looked rich and expensive, and in its entirety could probably fetch at least one if not two thousand Miza if he cared to sell it. A product like this, and of this quality is unheard of. Ray doubted that Miro could find something like this anywhere else.

"Here." Rayage said, beckoning the wizard to come forward. He held the cloak out to him, "A new cloak." he said, "Created by yours truly." once the mage was close enough he would hand it to him and release the cloak to let Miro feel the surprising weight of it. If the boy looked on the back, in black stitching he would find embroidered into the cloak itself the symbol of the ouroboros, a serpent eating its own tail.

Prairie Dogs (Miro)

Miro redirected the Djed Flux from his legs to flow into his arm and follow Rayage's Res. He was ready to use his aura of Res to put out any fire, but Rayage had once again made him proud. It was time that the wizard saw what his apprentice could do to cause some damage. Yet again, his student used fire, by far the Ice Reaver's least favorite element. When the spell exploded, he attempted to adjust his Flux to follow it, but it was too quick. He came up short, and indeed felt the pain of fire searing his flesh. He quickly released the redirection due to the shock. Though it was agonizing, unable to brace himself against such a pain, he still found himself grinning.

"You are learning to channel your will into personal magic, but you are only just coming to understand the meaning of your words." Miro called his Res to surround the burned flesh and become cold water. He ran his Res across the area and attracted the water to follow. The cool water massaging the wounds was quite soothing. As they walked he continued to cool the water until all his magic was spent. It was a lesson well done.

Ender hovered back to Miro and changed to his sealed form in his master's hand, who then proceeded to reform his ice bracelet. "You make me sick. Burning us just to spite me and show just how much more you value this man. We have been together for so long now, yet further down you cast me. Am I worthless with my lack of your precious magic? I have come to accept your magic and embrace it, expecting it would protect us. Yet you choose to be burnt still. You do nothing but show me how worthless I am in your eyes and spite me. I will make you to pay for treating me like this, and I will tear your mind apart if you do not cease this behavior."

Miro scoffed, his Familiar had everything twisted. Plus, Rayage was going to give them a gift, and gifts from a wizard could be quite useful. Quite powerful even. Who could deny a friend like that? Not Miro, not even if he tried. Uldr made sure of this. "Ender, you have everything wrong. Give and take my friend, give and take. If Rayage has taught me anything, it is that change requires sacrifice. If our sacrifice inspired a positive change in my apprentice, it was well worth it." The Chained One looked at his changed body. He was given the gift of unlife with a powerful fate and purpose. A god to serve above all else.

"I will receive much more in return, you wait and see. Those who can not stand to be useful to me are meant to serve. This is what Uldr has willed of me. I am meant to gain power in his name, and I can not help but to dominate those too weak to be able to further my cause. You need still to accept what we are, and to work with me, not against me. I am your master, and if you resist, you will be dominated too. That is the only way it works. Besides, by now you are more than used to the pain we encounter." Ender was not quite a burden, just too critical. What little advice he offered was constantly eclipsed by contempt. It was not in the wizard's nature to just take insults.

"If you do not wish to hear me, then I will say nothing. Do not expect anything from me until you are able to appreciate my worth." To this Miro smiled. "Nothing would please me more." Though he doubted the Irylid would hold his tongue long, and he doubted his Familiar would make him as proud as Rayage had. In a matter of days, his apprentice had already found himself a small fortune of power, but still had far to go in learning to respect it.

"You know, you are lucky Rayage. I do not teach like a child, but a proud wizard. So far it is working out quite well too. Perhaps you would be interested to know that it took me seasons to be get as far as you have. And all that you have come to realize with Reimancy, I have guided you to. Even the things that seem you have found on your own, I led you to them. That surefire technique I spoke of, it is sticking Res. And it is easiest at close range, or touching, ideally. I brought you to understand this lesson. Even when your body is bound, your mind and Res are not. If you were to have things your way, we would have turned in early."

Miro scoffed at how easy his student had it. His own training was not so quick and gentle. It was long, slow and brutal at times. He could not learn a technique until he had the basis down and the discipline needed to handle it. The Flux, it was the most brutal, and it required the most self-control. Training required him to push his body to its limits, and to sense each part of him on the deepest level. "For seasons, I was trained in only the basics. Only making Res, only attracting elements, practicing manipulating the substance. I learned unity with my body, inside and out. Martial training, day in, day out. If I were to talk back, say it was impossible, insult my mother's teaching, I had a punishment. If I was lucky, I was only beaten. Now I respect you enough to warn you of your faults, ya know, so you might find discipline on your own. However, that mouth of yours will get you into trouble. Show weakness of the mind again and I will toughen it for you. Disrespect me again, I'll show you the meaning of respect."

The Nuit was still but a child in the true way of personal magic. He would have his eyes awaken at his own pace, unless he only cared to keep them closed. Then they would need to be ripped open. "At least we can agree on one thing, Miro, my cruel master. This corpse lacks refinement and gratitude. You have only half-given your gift, have you not? What was it you told me before, ever so many times? If it were not for your mother's strict training and discipline, all of the punishments and beatings, you would not be able to handle your magic. Do not let your mother's lessons die with her. Without that discipline, you will spoil his mind and soul with power he can not handle." And the Chained One knew just how right his Familiar was.

"Maybe you are onto something there, Ender. He needs now to learn to tame the fire I have lit inside of him. But he is not a child like I was. I am not his mother, and I can not put him in time-out. All I can hope to do is show him fire burns and power can destroy. Show him why our training is so wild and hard. It is so that in application, it is tame and easy. Thank you for this, though we both know you just want to see me hit him." Miro laughed, seemingly to himself. "When you're right, you're right though. He has been leading himself towards a Flux fist. You won't mind if the punch hurts us a bit, right?" His mouth turned out a smirk.

Rayage was leading the to one of the most magical places in the entire Citadel, Lab 45E, the Alchemy god-lab. The place Rayage called home, more or less. And if the gift was to come from here, it was bound to be good. "Here", the Nuit said, as he gave him his gift. It was worth a chuckle. Miro took it in hand and was speechless. It was a beautiful robe, and a damn heavy one at that. The fabric was cold and hard like steel, yet still behaved as cloth. He did not hesitate to replace his current robe with the new one. As it moved, it made a metallic slinking noise. The shiny silver fabric and black symbol on the back, it was a masterpiece. Truly worthy to protect his body.

The undead's old black robe dangled in his hand. It was of the clothing created by Uldr and given to him. But he had no place to store it, and was somewhat special to him. He held the garment out to Rayage. "Here, take your master's cloak. Treasure it, keep it safe. It was given to me by Uldr, so it is special. Let me meet your gift with something of equal value." The robe was nothing special, from what he could tell, but it did mean something to him. Sure giving it to his apprentice was a way to take it off his hands, but it was also a way to keep it safe.

Once again he looked over his new robe, now on his body. It was like wizard armor, a great gift. "Thank you. Truly it is a great gift. But, I fear the calm will be short lived. We have so much work ahead of us. It has become apparent to me just how much of a handicap your Nuit sluggishness is. The only way around this is the Flux, and you are far from ready for that. You lack understanding of your body, and you lack discipline. We will work to change this, but it will take time. You need a lot of training, and that comes only after lessons." There was a lot of ground to cover, and the sooner they started, the better. A quick lesson and introduction could go a long way towards a powerful realization.

By the time the nuit had put Miros old cloak away in his chest the boy had slipped on the new robe. Listening to what he said Ray nodded, ”There is a lot in this world that is left unknown. A lot that I don’t know.” he admitted, ”Though that robe is a product of something I do know very well, Alchemy.” he told him, ”And even that is not as perfect as Id like it.” A brief silence, ”I am in the process of redefining the formula to create those. The new product would rival Isurian Steel itself.” he bragged, ”And make things of legend if magecrafted.” he said with a smile. It has been quite some time since he has talked about magecraft.

”However you will have to settle for that now.” he told him, turning to the boy and smiling, ”It looks great on you.” he complimented him. ”Do you know what that symbol is on the back?” he asked, curious to know if Miro knew or not. He wasn’t trying to change the subject, just was curious.

Winter 36 512 AV

The duo once more found themselves out on the Prairie. ”In a couple days’ time all the preparations for my latest experiment will be set.” Ray informed Miro, ”This means I will have far less time to venture out with you while I oversee and direct it.” This was important for Miro to understand, ”I am a very important wizard here in Sahova, I too have my obligations and duties I need to fulfill.” Sahova was not a magical playground. It was research facility, and sometimes he did not think that the humans quite understood that in this day and age.

If he was alive he would have taken a deep breath in, but instead he prepared himself for what he was about to. There was more lessons to be learned with Reimancy, and so he must prepare himself to cast. Sighing mentally he had his moment of meditation where he closed his eyes and say nothing but darkness. Opening them he found that he was more focused. He needed focus as he was ripping his soul apart to cast this magic. Power comes at a great cost indeed.

Fragmenting his soul he tugged on the djed and directed it to change, willed it to change and morph and transform and flow through his body. In personal magic the mind is the catalyst of change and transformation, just like in world magic the circle acts as such. In many ways the circle and the mind were not so different, not so different at all. Perhaps the mind is the circle, and the circle is the mind, but it goes deeper than that even. It all breaks down to the key component to any spell, personal or world, and that is will. The will to change, the will to transform, the will to do magic. Magic does not happen on its own, but it is willed into existence. Just like everything else, the nuit willed his own Res into existence, the bubbly light substance seeping from his body collected in one airy glob above him. The res crowned him, and flickered and fluttered, but Ray needed practice controlling and shaping the substance outside his initial vision.

In front of him his hands were held out, fingers curved in forming the shape of a ball. Mentally projected by Rays mind the nuit saw within his fingers a perfect orb. That was the shape in which he was trying to get the res above and out of sight to take, and through this endeavor he used both a gesture and mental imagery to aid in his concentration. Yet still it was not perfect. Far far from it in fact.

Prairie Dogs (Miro)

Postby Miro on April 13th, 2013, 2:22 am

The next day Miro arrived in the Prairie with Rayage. He spoke of future plans, but it was all a way to say he was too important for extended lessons. Excuses, but good enough to get out of things. Sure, he had duties and obligations. It was not just some convenient way to get away from his responsibilities, so he claimed. It mattered little, for there was only so much to be taught, and from there it was the student's responsibility to learn. The short time they had left together only meant the lesson had to be thick yet quickly covered.

Rayage produced his Res, obviously ready to get started. The apprentice had began to practice, and after his quick warm up it was time to get to business. "Okay, quick tutorial. I will explain and demonstrate." Miro produced two balls or Res side by side of equal size. He transmuted one of them to fire and attracted the flames to the other orb as he spoke. "A Reimancer can attract any element he can create. It can make spells more efficient and powerful, but it can also save your life." The small inferno swirled and danced about the Res for a few moments before dispersing. "I will provide you a chance to practice attracting using my flame, so save your own Res. You will need to get this quickly, because it is your defense against an enemy fire Reimancer's spells. When you are practiced, I will send a spell at you. You can do nothing to stop my Res, but you can attract the flames away."

Miro flourished Ionu's Light and produced a cloud of blue gas to haze around Rayage's Res. "Ready..." He condensed the Res around Rayage's and transmuted it to a flame directed outwards. "Attract!" The transmuted element would pull away with his last few moments of control, but his influence was always short lived. Before dissipating the spell would find the attraction irresistible and yield to the pull. He observed the Nuit's attempt with sly enthusiasm. "See, not so hard." But the real challenge was to come still, and he was eager to put his apprentice to the test. "Alright, get ready. Turn your Res into a net before you and catch the flames as they pass through it. Res is your sword as well as your SHIELD."

The Reimancer inserted his staff into the remaining ball of liquid Res and raised it to the sky. He dropped the staff downwards and launched the orb forth. As it neared to pass through his apprentices' Res, it was transmuted to fire. With his last moments of control, he aimed it at Rayage and accelerated the spell. Hopefully his student had been doing his part and training seriously. If not, the fireball was not life threatening. It was sized to be as powerful as the average novice, and his attraction would only weaken it further. It was only a simple lesson, but there was so very little left to teach. What was left for his initiate in the ways of Reimancy was practice. Lots of meditation and training to grow his skills. They had another important subject to cover however.

Rayage listened to the lesson which the boy had to offer. Res could also attract the elements which the wizard already had command over. He could attract fire. Nodding at times to show that he was listening the wizard watched the small demo which Miro produced. Res in one sphere, fire in the other. This could defend against another’s reimancy, well just fire for now. Though Miro explained a lot, he left out exactly how to attract the fire, but common logic with magic is that it is all based on will. Will was a powerful force in all magic, and so it could be assumed that it was will which was used to have the res attract the fire instead of willing the res to explode into flame.

Before he had time to contemplate the subject any further the young master provided Ray with a chance to test his skill, just like he had said not seconds ago. Bringing the res orb above him into a more suitable place, once within sight the orb solidified and the rippling uncertainty of form faded as it became a sphere. Then it happened, with the command of ‘attract’ Miro loosed fire upon Rays res orb. The old nuits mind far faster than his body, he concentrated on what he wanted to happen, he focused on the res attracting the fire. The undead pictured it in his mind that the res would attract the fire. He pictured the res ‘grabbing’ hold of the fire and not letting it go, he pictured the res becoming ‘sticky’ only to the fire, he pictured the res trying to absorb the flame, and he pictured many other things. Defining concepts with pictures was much easier than trying to word them that much the nuit knew for sure, and it was with mental pictures that Rayage would define the boundaries of his magic.

Smiling the nuit watched the res in reality attract the fire to it and hold it along its edges. The fire danced, but it was well controlled and contained by the res with was under his command. It was a success. Will dominated magic, both personal and world. Though it is also said those who play with fire are bound to get burned. Magic is Rays fire, but no matter the burn he found himself returning to magic. It was the lifeblood of his very world. It made up his reality. Without magic he had nothing. Breaking off a small portion of the res, the nuit dropped the fire from the rest of the orb and watched it splash across the ground by them. The flames slowly flicked out.

The remaining res formed an orb, albeit a smaller one, thinking about Miros words as the other readied his own res with the aid of his staff and fired at the nuit. Once more Rayage was forced to attract the fire, but this time he felt the heat come at him. The fires lashed out and wanted to consume the wizard, and the heat surprised him. He did not expect the fire to be directed at him although the res was shot at him. The presence of the fire made him take a couple steps back as he worked with the lesson which Miro was trying to teach him, attract the flame to avoid being burned by it. Res could be used to not only temper the fire, but also to control it. Control was the name of the game today, and so again he pictured and imagined and willed the res to draw in the fire, and in doing so had the res reach out for the flam, distorting the shape of the sphere to reach and spike out with the fire, collecting it before retracting back into the spherical shape he had formed it into.

A sly grin formed on Ray and he smiled with the success. ”That was not too hard.” he said, though in his voice it shook with uncertainty. It was a simple matter of will after all.

Prairie Dogs (Miro)

Postby Miro on April 17th, 2013, 2:00 am

Rayage yet again absorbed his lesson like the little undead sponge he was. "Good," Miro thought to himself. "Okay, Reimancy lessons are over for today, but the training never is. Now we move on." The Reimancer flourished Ionu's Light and produced Res before him. The amount gathered and took form as he spoke. "Now we focus on another specialty of mine, one you will find as useful as it is difficult to grasp. The Flux, as it is known. Do not worry though, for now you have nothing to do but listen. I will not fling you into another discipline so soon, as if you could handle it as you are." He shaped the Res into a plate before him and readied to glyph using Reimancy.

To form the glyph he would carve out a shape and then transmute the two parts separately. This was a simple sigil, just a barrier contained focus with a trigger. Miro created several lines that all swirled in towards the center, and within it, several rings growing smaller and centralizing. Around the very outside of the shape was a chain of connected rings that contained it. The shapes were lifted and the base transmuted to stone. He then allowed the removed amount to fall back into place and transmuted it to ice. His staff was tapped on its side, and a smaller plate of Res made connected. He created a small shape of interlocked rings within and lifted them, again transmuting the base to stone. The rings were replaced and tasked to release the barrier when struck as he transmuted them to ice.

Miro stood atop the shape and focused on his pathways. For a moment now he would meditate and think now of a complex redirection. "The key principle of the Flux is to manipulate the streams of energy within the body that maneuver it. These are known as pathways, and manipulation of them is known as redirections. For instance to empower my right arm for a punch, I could redirect the Djed Flux of my leg's pathways to empower my arm. But for all of the strength it gained, my legs would lose. Now, and this is the most important part, so listen carefully. Your arm is not meant to borrow strength from your legs, and pushing it past its limit will give you plenty enough power to punch hard enough for you hand to shatter. Discipline and knowledge of the body is of paramount importance. That is the basic lesson, and take time to absorb this in. Using Glyphing I will allow you to experience a redirection for yourself. The Djed in your pathways flowing through your body, transferring strength and power, focus closely on it."

The wizard pointed his staff down to his left leg and focused on the Djed Flux within it. He guided the energy within its pathways up his left leg and down his right, Ionu's Light moving along with the streams. He moved it from his leg up into his gut, attracting now from all limbs in slight to gather. Then the amount was split to gather slowly into his mind, slowly altering his mental state. It was an awakening, as if his eyes were opened to a whole new world. The remaining Djed Flux gathered to a great concentration through each limb, down to each individual finger and toe before settling back naturally. He then stepped off the plate and back onto the ground. "You may now step onto it and experience it for yourself." And when the Nuit was ready he would crack his staff against the trigger to release the spell. After the magic was finished releasing the ice would melt and the rock would crumble.

The Chained One cleared his throat after the Reimancy had broken into dust, waiting for his apprentice's attention. "The layers of the soul play role in the magic, as I am sure you already know them. This one in specific, the astral body. It connects our soul to our physical body, remaining within it. If your physical limb is severed, your astral body as well. When your astral body is removed from your physical body, it quits functioning. With practice one can even control the inner functions of the body to a degree. But one should be careful always. Apart from the risk of damaging one's own body through the discipline, sweet whispers can be ever so alluring while in the heat of battle. But with training and discipline you will master this skill too. In battle it will give you the speed needed to land your Reimancy and avoid their attacks being landed on you. Overgiving in the discipline is usually of a physical nature. One can only imagine what would happen if their pathways were to redirect Djed uncontrollably."

It was a lot to take in, but the last lesson he had to give for some time. Now after this there would be no lengthy lessons, only training and development of new techniques. After Rayage was finished making note of today's lesson, his master would reward him. "So, that concludes things for today. Actually, that is all I have to teach you at this point. We just need to practice your Reimancy, slowly grow a closer unity with your body for Flux. That being said, I have promised you the chance to burn me. Come at me, send some spells my way. I want to see you see me burn. Make me proud, my dear apprentice, make me proud."

The undeads attention shifted away from Reimancy when Miro announced that a new discipline was going to be taught soon. Not quite today, but instead he was just to listen to the wizard speak. Rayage willed the rest of the res to burst into flames as he would no longer need Reimancy just to listen to him. The fire sparkled beautifully for a moment before it fell out of existence, dancing on the ground, dying.. out. The nuit was pleased with himself, though then focused on listening to what Miro had to say.

Listening sometimes could be hard, but there was a certain captivation when it came to magic. Its very nature lured the Alchemist in and whispered sweet things to him, words of power, words of having whatever ones heart so desires. With magic any dream can become reality. At least, with the right magic that is even reality can be bent, as is seen with the power of Alchemy –the ability to create things that should not exist or do not exist naturally. The ability to elevate materials to a higher state of being, perhaps even the soul itself!-

Rayage listened to Miro as he described the magical discipline of Flux to him. The Key concept, what pathways are, what manipulation of those pathways are called, he took notes on the cause and effect of such a discipline. Though the most important part was coming up, the body can be pushed beyond its limits with this discipline, and a wizard, if not careful, could destroy himself with the borrowed power. Duly noted that fact was, though Rayage smirked, that was true with any magic. Though any true magician will know that discipline and knowledge are the keys to true power with magic, if even the spice of inanity to go along with it. Is there truly any sane person with power? It corrupts even the purest of souls.

The Alchemist silently watched Miro preform a small demo of the skill for himself. It wasn’t very impressive to watch as the kid just waved his staff around, but then he asked that Ray step onto the glyph itself and experience it for himself. So he did.

Taking a step onto the glyph the nuit activated the sigil and he felt it, or what he thought was it. Was this the flux? A surge of energy could be felt traveling through his body, parts weakening, feeling heavier while others seemed to get more sturdy and stronger. This tingling power traveled up through his legs, and stomach and up and up and reached his mind. Empowering that the nuit gasped in surprise as he felt his thoughts rush faster and faster, it was like his mind was going even faster than it normally was. It was, in a couple words, extraordinary sense of enlightenment, of absorbing information. Things felt sharper, his vision clearer, it was as if a fog had been lifted from his eyes, but the mental high did not last as the power traveled back down through each of his limbs he could feel power, but he dare not strike. In this instance he just stood there experiencing it. Then it was over.

The layers of the soul… Rayage smirked when he heard Miro say that. He was surprised that modern wizards knew of such things. It was shocking, but refreshing. This kid wasn’t an idiot after all. There was something to him. Some merit. He was indeed a personal wizard.

When the lesson was over Miro challenged Rayage to practice his Reimancy. The nuit agreed all too happily. Who could say no to someone who wanted you to throw a fireball at them? Perhaps this time he could get a little bit more creative… ”If that is your wish.” he said holding out a hand in one of his iconic gestures, summoning his res…

It's Not What You Think...

This thread seemed to be mostly focused on the building of knowledge rather than the building of skills. Well done by both parties! I am afraid I could not justify any points in Flux for Miro, since at his current level is is capable of a lot more than he did in thread. Also, if you were hoping for some specific teaching lores feel free to PM me what you had in mind. I could not really think of much besides what I added.

Well Rayage certainly got his work out today, and plenty of Reimancy points for the detail and effort he put into all of his posts. Good job to you both!

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your grade, please send me a PM and we can figure it out. :)
