(I changed it and it's reading right on my end. Perhaps something's wrong on your end? I will try changing it again.)

Gaius smiled happily and, though he couldn't explain it, something about being able to connect their tents made him enormously happy. He stood and stretched, brushing himself, before offering his hand to Adsila, smiling warmly. "Shall we go then?" he asked as he helped her up, though he didn't release her hand just yet, waiting to see what she would do.

(( It worked that time :) ))

Adsila was surprised at his actions but she continued to hold his hand. It wasn't every day that a guy wanted to hold her hand. Adsila was pretty happy at what was happening here and she was happy about what was happening. She could tell that this was going to be a good friendship. Maybe it would be more, maybe it wouldn't be.

Adsila was lost in her thoughts, but then turned to look at the man that she was holding hands with, and said,
"So where abouts are we going to exactly?"

Gaius smiled and held her hand as he began to lead her out of the city. He was happy at the moment, holding her hand, letting things progress. Maybe their friendship would grow into something more. He hoped so, but he wouldn't force it. He perked up at her question and smiled more.

"A small clearing outside of the city. I have my camp site there, it's in the trees, near a stream. It's nice, a nice little get away from everything. And cheap too. With a job in tow and what I save on housing, well, let's just say I don't have to eat trail rations every day," he said with a smile. He didn't mean to sound like a braggart, but he quickly realized he did.

"But enough about me," he said as they headed out of the gates and down the forest trail. "Tell me a bit about yourself?" he asked curiously, releasing her hand to pushing the brush aside and lead her onto and then down the game trail, into the small clearing. His tent was set up on the high ground between several trees. Some of his clothes were splayed over branches, dried from the day's sun. The fire pit sat in the center, away from the trees, ready to be lit, and just a little ways off, the stream could be seen. "And welcome to my humble home."

"It is amazing!"
Adsila says with a gasp!
"It is absolutely beautiful!"

Adsila started to look around and then walked back and sat down with Gaius ...
"Can you help me set up my tent?"
Adsila asked him, because she has never set up a tent before. Adsila was blushing when she asked him this question.

"I am a Myrian, but I was brought up differently and because we don't follow a lot of the lore and stuff that normal Myrian's do ... and they threatened to kill us or we had to move out, so my parents relocated to Syliras and then when I was of age to look after myself, they went back to the Myrian home island and I stayed here. They didn't want me to have to revert to those ways. I hope that all Myrian's can stop being so cannabalistic, but I guess that is the way they are, even if I don't agree with it."
Adsila told him while looking a little sad ... She missed her parents very much.

Gaius nodded, smiling gently. "Of course, it's no problem." As he listened to her story, he looked sad, and nodded. "I understand that. Inartans may not have such... erm, extreme rules of conduct, but that doesn't mean that being different is celebrated. That's why I came to Syliras. I was different." Gaius took her tent and set it up on the high ground, next to his own. Far enough so they weren't touching, but easily connectable if they decided on that.

As Gaius set up her tent, he looked over at the fire pit. "Want to start the fire going?" he asked as he finally got the tent to properly stand on its own. He then began to quickly stake it into the ground. There were a few points where the ground was a bit tough, but some reimancy quickly softened it up. Gaius smiled as his res pooled into his hand and he spread it over the areas, softening the ground just a little as he molded it.

Once he was done, he stood and headed back over to Adsila, sitting on one of the several logs and rocks around the fire pit. He smiled as he sat, making sure his sword hung properly so as not to be a nuisance. "So, it seems you've told me about yourself, it's only right I return the favor. What do you want to know?"

"Want to start the fire going?"

"Sure I can do that."
Adsila said smiling at Gaius while listenign to him while he talked. She made a big bright fire that gave off lots of warmth. Adsila then sat back down on the log

"So, it seems you've told me about yourself, it's only right I return the favor. What do you want to know?"

"Oh I am not too picky, just tell me whatever you feel comfortable and if I have any questions I can let you know. That is usually how I work, asking questions without knowing anything sometimes is hard for me to do."
Adsila said while smiling and grabbing gently to Gaius hand and holding onto it in hers.
"Do we put out the fire once the stars come out?"
Adsila asked him curiously.

Gaius smiled as he sat beside her and a light blush appeared on his cheeks as she held his hand. He squeezed hers happily in return and hoped the fire's light hid the redness of his cheeks. "The fire? Oh, yes, well, we'll probably tamp it down a bit, let it burn a ways and then we can add more to it to keep it going if we want. We will certainly put it out before going to sleep, of course," he said as he watched the fire roar.

"So, tell what I want, hmm? Well.... I was born in Wind Reach obviously. I left for a few reasons, but the main one was, it seemed so closed off there, so simple. Nothing new to learn and explore really. I learned my reimancy from an old Inartan that most of the others ignored specifically for knowing the magic. Another reason I left, Wind Reach doesn't really like magic much." Gaius thought a moment and then nodded, moving forward.

"I've a job here, as an apprentice glassworker. It's nice. Good work, great pay. I'm trying to improve my skills so I can do more. I live out here because I like the freedom it affords and the money it saves," he said with a grin and a chuckle. "Hmm... I'm handy with a longbow and my magic, not too bad with a sword. And... I think that's about everything important. Any questions?" he asked, smiling, enjoying the feeling of her hand in his all this time. It felt... right somehow. And it was simply nice.

"I do not have many questions for you except for a couple."
Adsila thought about the ones that she wanted to ask, of course there was more but she didn't want to seem out of place, or know if she had the right to ask them or not.

"So you choose to be out here, because you don't have to pay rent or anything? Has anyone ever followed you out here? Are we really safe out here? But just know that if you need a place to stay while you are in the city, or are being chased and need a place to hide out my place is welcome to you, which I am hoping that tomorrow I can show it to you if you are not too busy."
Adsila said to him with very high hope in her voice. Adsila squeezed his hand a little bit and awaited a response.

While Adsila was awaiting his response she looked into the fire, she has always like fire, it has always facinated her.
"Beautiful fire is it not?"
Adsila asked him.

Gaius smiled and hoped that the fire's light kept it from showing that he was blushing furiously. She wanted to show him where she lived? Not only that, but she had opened up her home to him if he ever had need of it. It was truly something wonderful, and something he hadn't hoped to have.

"Are we safe? As safe as one can be in the woods. No one has ever followed me out here, other than a friend or two who I haven't seen in nearly a year. So aside from myself and you, no one really knows where this little spot is. And thank you, for your kindness. I promise that should I ever need it, I won't hesitate to come calling," he replied with a smile.

"And I've nothing else planned for tomorrow, so I think it's a lovely idea to go and see your place. I'm sure it will be just as wonderful a place as you are a person," Gaius replied, turning and looking at the fire as he let the compliment hang in the air. "And yes. It's a lovely fire." Gaius couldn't help but hope that things were going as well as he thought they were. He couldn't explain it, but he seemed to be falling for her, and though it worried him slightly, what if she didn't feel the same way?, he was happy in the moment, holding her hand beside the fire while they waited for the stars to come out.

"I am more than happy to open my house to you, and take it seriously, as I do not open my house to many people, but you seen very very nice and I appreciate the kindness that you have shown me, as not many people around here do that."
Adsila said to him with a smile and held his hand a little tighter.
Adsila hoped that she wasn't making a mistake by allowing this man into her house, she hoped that he would stay nice and not try to rob her or to hurt her in her own home.

Adsila was falling for this man, which technically went against everything in her races rules, but screw them she was not living there anymore and they could not find her, so she was safe, well as safe as she could be.
Adsila didn't want to get too far in over her head though, she was going to get to know this man though before anything 'serious' was about to happen.

Adsila then looked back at the man,
"I am pretty excited about this whole star-gazing thing, I must admit."
