Arandolya couldn't help but watch Aradia's expression as Darren continued with his display. Oh, the wonders of the first time. She really wasn't from Wind Reach was she? Shaking her head in awe, Arandolya felt the surging amusement of the young girl's simple amazement and wonder. She wondered if she held that same expression when she'd seen a male for the first time? Or even when she learned what could be done with a men? Probably. That was the beauty of Wind Reach though, in a way, the simplicity of one body to the next, and the pleasure of just ... enjoying the view. Which Darren was more than willing to give as he strut his stuff, and thrust himself in a silly manner before jumping into a wild run. Men.

The Inarta hunter did a cartwheel as they separated into their dancing - which failed as she fell halfway through. Laughing, Arandolya picked herself up and tried again, remembering performing these many times as a child. Reminiscent as Iosha was as the Konti twirled whimsically, Arandolya determinedly repeated the action until she'd successfully landed one, which only took like two tries ... maybe three. By the end of it, she was even more soaked than before, if that was even possible! Brushing her red hair back from her face, Arandolya laughed joyously, taking the hand Darren outstretched as his circled through the woman.

They danced briefly together, a wild melody of twirls before he ended with a dip, her flushed face beaming at the man as he moved on once more. He said something as he left, but a language Arandolya couldn't identify as either Nari or Common - perhaps from the land of his people with their wild changing yes? Arandolya giggled as he left her, watching him dance with the others. She still had yet to settle on an opinion of him, arrogant? Confident? Twirling, Arandolya simply thought, Who cares?

Arandolya flopped onto the ground of the Courtyard, staring up at the sky as it battered her with its small pellets of rain, sprinkling to cool her warmed face and naked skin. She stuck out her tongue to taste its refreshing quality, and giggled slightly. Out of breath and beginning to feel cold, Arandolya seemed content to take a moment to let the rain wash over her before wondering how in the world she planned on reaching her home. She didn't want to put her clothing on seeing how wet she was, but she very well couldn't walk through the mountain path naked! (Well, I could ... I just don't really want to see how that would turn out ...) Eh, it didn't matter for now. Arandolya closed her eyes and simply listened to the joy of her friends as they danced, and relish the feeling of the rain running over every contour of her revealed body.

Dancing to the Music of the Spring Rain

Postby Darren on April 16th, 2013, 2:37 am

Adaria seemed to like Darren's 'attention' as little Darren stood at attention. Perhaps the vantha was acting more familiar then Adaria wanted but then again there was the possibility she might have liked it. Merely smiling along and soaking in the whispers of admiration that came naturally, Darren gave Iosha a playful look at the explosion of common aimed at him. Nodding slightly only giving off slight ahh's and other incoherent words in common Darren eyes lighted up his usual serene blue as he recognized one of the words given. Nodding his head Darren came closer to Iosha rewarding her for the slight insight.

Running a knuckle along the side of her face Darren's eyebrows perked up slightly as he raised Iosha's chin slightly. "'Yes... Avanthal." Smirking slightly Darren leaded in intrusively towards Iosha before walking past the Konti and instead gave his undivided attention to the unknown Inarta in the group. Like many of her people Arandolya seemed to be outgoing and proud of herself as she laid on the courtyard stones. Undoubtably a full Inartan Darren considered himself lucking already skipping to the best part of connecting with an Inarta. Proud and unashamed the Vantha mentally relished the full on display. "Only in Wind Reach."

Not many words were exchanged but Darren himself found to be enjoying every part of moment of their time in the spring rain. Hopping on one leg for a time Darren danced to his own tune feeling the raindrops falling on his skin. Each sending an impulse in his system Darren felt truly limitless feeling the mass amounts of waves by each drop produced. Slowing to a stop Darren grimaced already noticing that he was already starting to outlast his partners. Granted it wasn't a contest but the Vantha hoped that the results would have been slightly different with just dancing out in the open.

Taking time to simply entertain his partners Darren rocked side to side with a strange dance in mind. Something that was different yet still enjoyable. Trying to galvanize his partners back into a rhythm Darren issued out suggestions barely higher then normal trying to ease them with his soft voice. "Move with the hips! Shake Shake that chest. You can act all clean but still be dancing." Looking at Arandolya and Iosha Darren smiled knowingly giving Adaria a conspiring look before choosing a partner from the two. "Take the other one."

Aradia danced around in the rain, feeling free, laughing and jumping around. Once the other red heads body was on the ground, Aradia found that as the perfect time to start a game, and jumped over the woman and landed beside her laughing. She was just happy she had not landed on her, that would not have ended well. But instead of jumping over the woman and possibly frightening her, as well as herself, she continued her dancing, leaping up in the air with one leg extended forward, the other backward. Twirling around and around, dancing with the little drops of liquid that fell from the sky.

Her dance was interrupted by the Vantha male though, of course... Aradia thought with a small smile on her face she walked up to the male with an eye brow raised at the little dance he was doing, and the words that went a long with it. Aradia shook her head from side to side, the man was always up to something it seemed, and grabbed Iosha's webbed hand and started to twirl her around and around. Leading her in a dance she saw in the tent village and would partake in when she was younger. She grabbed the woman's hands, brought her close to herself, and then let her go out, then she twirled Iosha, hooked their arms together, and whispered to the woman to leap. They both leaped in the air, landing rather roughly on the ground. Aradia took one of Iosha's hands and twirled herself, laughing all the while.

She glanced over at the Arrandoyla and Darren, watching them dance. She looked over at Iosha, "This was fun." Aradia giggled, brushing her wet hair from her face. "But I need to leave before I become sick. It may be Spring, but that breeze is freezing!" Aradia winked at Iosha, grabbed her soaking wet clothes in her arms and wondered to herself how she was going to get to her Endal brother's residence with out being seen. Petch! Aradia said in the language of Iosha. It was the word Iosha taught her when they were shooting arrows together, and she had finally roughly learned the elegant soothing language of the Konti's. "I guess I am walking naked to Reds. Aradia said shaking her head, holding it down in shame as she draped the soaking wet clothes over her shoulder so that way at least her chest was covered up. Then she proceeded towards the Endal's residence, her face flaming hot, and her head down as she walked the walk of humility.

Dancing to the Music of the Spring Rain

Postby Iosha on April 24th, 2013, 2:13 am

While Iosha danced with Darren, she could tell the man was enjoying the closeness of their dance. It was nice to feel the closeness of the human male. It wasn't a feeling she felt for a long time, so she decided to let her guard down and let the man touch her face with his hand. The sensation made her shudder slightly by his touch, but she smirked up at him. The man admitted he was from Avanthal, but he didn't say much afterwords. The konti started to wonder how much common tongue the man knew, but she wasn't going to bring it up now since it would ruin the moment. Iosha watched him as the man's eyes shifted to the attention of the Inarta woman, Arandolya. She gave him a laugh and said softly, “Good luck..” Iosha heard a crack of thunder as she danced her around the courtyard.

When Darren moved to the next girl, Iosha closed her eyes and continued to prance around the courtyard trying to ignore the cool wind coming from the north. She started to hum a tune to herself taught to her by her mother. She tried to keep the melody, but as she spun around with her arms out, she lost the tune after a chime. Suddenly, she felt her arm get hooked by Aradia, and they started to dance in circles. Iosha laughed out loud at her friend as they both jumped into the air. When they landed, Aradia took both of the konti's hand in her, and they started spinning each other around. Iosha closed her eyes and tilted her head back letting the rain fall on her face. She was cold, but the warm of the other woman's hand kept her warm. The rain was starting to slow, so the konti slowed her dance to coordinate with the drizzle. Iosha opened her eyes, and she saw the Inarta woman named Arandolya was dancing with the Vantha male, Darren. Iosha felt Aradia let go of her hands, and she opened her eyes and stepped back away from the woman. Iosha laughed regardless at her comment even though she knew the cold wouldn't make the young woman sick. Iosha put her wet hair behind her ear, and she smiled at Aradia, “Yes, I don't normally do something like this, but I am glad; I found the courage to dance with you. We should do it again, Aradia. Dancing I mean.” Iosha smiled when her friend cursed in Kontinese, and she walked her walk away. Iosha could see the woman was holding her head in shame, so she called out to her, “You shouldn't be ashamed of your body, Aradia. You are a beautiful woman.” Iosha wasn't sure if Aradia heard her, but she decided to turn around before the human woman could see the blush appearing on her cheeks.

Iosha turned around to see a rainbow arching above her. The konti smiled to herself as she made her way to the other two. Iosha walked behind Darren and Arandolya and said softly, “It is nice meeting the both of you. I would continue dancing with you both, but Syna is starting to break free of the clouds. I really don't want to be caught naked out here with a crowd of people around me.” The konti looked at Darren, and she knew the man didn't know much common, so she decided to wave goodbye to him. Iosha turned away from them, walked back to the pillar, and grabbed her clothing. She noticed the pillar wasn't much protection from the rain because the white fabric was soaking wet. Since she was to modest for her own good, the scaled woman put on the wet clothing before she walked back to her apartment.

Arandolya tilted her head as Darren suddenly appeared above her, wearing the smile that always looked tainted with a tinge of mischief. The Vantha outstretched a hand as he commented for Aradia to take Iosha, and the young Inarta realized his intentions. Arandolya laughed and took Darren's hand, rising smoothly. "Let us dance then," she said demurely in Common, the light accent of her voice clipping the words. She placed a hand on his shoulder before pulling him into a wild dance. Letting him lead at some points, Arandolya couldn't help but twist away at a few turns and force the man to follow her own leaping steps. Twirling under his hand, Arandolya grinned at the man's changing eyes, staring into their fascinating depths with a keen amber gaze. She watched them shift, and colors flicker in small portions before disappearing, enthralled. She smiled, and skipped her feet to follow his once more.

"I guess I am walking naked to Red's," Aradia stated with a touch of shame as her farewell, head shaking as she looked down at her soaked clothing. The modesty of the young female made Arandolya smile as she danced herself and Darren closer to the naked Inarta.
"You shouldn't be ashamed of your body, Aradia. You are a beautiful woman," Iosha called out as the woman left.
"Let the men ... taste with their eyes on ... on the body they can not have," Arandolya added in broken Common, with a wry grin, spinning away from her dance companion to Iosha.

"It is nice meeting the both of you. I would continue dancing with you both, but Syna is starting to break free of the clouds. I really don't want to be caught naked out here with a crowd of people around me," she said before taking her leave, clothed in her wet dress. The white fabric covered little, though Arandolya smiled at the exotic woman all the same.
"They ... would, ah yes would, only crowd because you are beautiful!" she chimed happily in Common, waving farewell to the woman.

The drizzle slowly stopped as Arandolya turned to Darren, Priskil's light beginning to shine down on the wet Courtyard. Studying the man in the new light, the Inarta grinned. Collecting the meager amount of the only familiar tongue between them, Arandolya said in Common, "I, ah, must go. Must go too. I hope we can ... dance together again soon." She offered a wink, and added in Nari, knowing he probably wouldn't understand, "Clothes optional." Dressing smoothly in the damp clothing in the entrance to the Courtyard, Arandolya waved once to the male before moving down the tunnels towards her home. Well that was fun! She resolved the first rain of Spring each year she would dance naked in it, and hopefully her companions today would join her!
