Closed I Will Catch You!

Timestamp: 44th day of Spring 513

It had been pretty much a week since Kise was over at Adsila’s apartment and she still had found no trace of him what so ever. Adsila even tried to follow the hoof prints from the horse that Kise had left on but eventually they lead and mixed into other hoof prints from other horses. Smart man, smart man, Adsila thought to herself. Adsila decided that she would find this man, no matter if it was the last thing that she did. She had to explain to him that nothing had happened that night, and that it was rude just to leave without saying goodbye, and also to say that we might be able to see each other again, well when was this again going to be. Adsila was very impatient when it came to things that she wanted and she was not going to let this wait on forever or for it never to happen again. Adsila knew that Kise was not going to leave Syliras as he wanted to be a knight for this city, so she knew he couldn’t just very well leave. Well Adsila thought that he could but the chances were high that he wouldn’t.

Adsila was still pretty disappointed in this man, she thought that they were forming a pretty good friendship. They were learning about each other and things were going good. She made him supper and everything and then he just up and left. What nice company that turned out to be. Adsila thought to herself, and just while things were getting interesting. Adsila knew that she must find out where Kise had ran off to, she didn’t even know where he lived, but she bet that she could get a lead from somewhere or she would see him somewhere.

Adsila decided that she was going to back to the Wishing Well and start from there and maybe if she was lucky she could spot Kise there, maybe he would go there again to sit on the roof and do some ramblings that only you could hear if you were standing right in front of him. Adsila got up, washed and then got dressed, made sure that she had her apartment key on her and set out for The Wishing Well yet again.

 Why was he here again? Why was he here at this wishing well again? Last time he was here... He found faith. Was that it? Had he returned to the spot of his first true prayers, just to do it again? Or was it some form of relief. It was all too much, yet not enough, not enough for him to learn what he needed to learn. And this was his drive, his drive to keep praying and hopefully earn what he wanted. But then again what did he want?

Well from Ivak he wanted power. Power to protect the things he loved, although he didn't know what he loved, or if he loved for that matter he knew one thing. He still wanted his power, and as long as he was in faith, he would get it eventually. And besides he only prayed once, so it was understandable. They boy had only chosen to worship this god because to him he sounded the most respectable. He wasn't evil at all, he was if anything... Understandable. His rage was to be feared, not a temper tantrum, but more of a showing of his power and rage. For his love was killed.

This baffled K once more, why...? Because he knew not of love, the closest he had got to thinking about it was an awkward chat with Sigrun. And even then the thought had made him a bit sick and unnerved. So why was he here? Why was he at this wishing well once more? One wouldn't be able to understand because even he himself couldn't. Nobody could. 

Today he chose to dress like a normal teen, with no cloak, no scarf. Just simple black shorts matching a black shirt. K, a confused boy, walked up to the well cluelessly. Smiling to himself as he tossed in a coin. "Last time I was here... I met a weird girl name Adsila... My wish for her is that she doesn't hate me. For I'd do anything to be a good friend." He let out a sigh coming to the obvious and inevitable. "As for Dom..." He peered into the well as he tossed another. "May she... Not hate me? I hope to learn more about her, because everytime I'm around that damned girl... I feel weird! Gods please... I can't explain the feeling but it's like I hate to leave her presence and I ..." He faded off as he moved on. "Kyra... Leda... Shadow... Shi-" He choked up a bit at the thought of Shiress's name.

"As for Shiress, I have no comment... For I wasn't the one to hurt that girl.. If I have then the god's will judge me." He said as he tossed in a coin continuing on. "Bolivar... Why does he intrigue me so much? He is a good friend but... Look at me losing all my morals. I'm more nice, is been praying, making friends and falling in...-" "Gods! Moving on!" "Kouri... Cyrus... There is just too many people that I have met now." He tossed in a final coin, as he sighed once more. "Why..."

Why do I feel so empty? What am I missing?

He couldn't tell... Who could. Did he need another fortune read? Heck no. Only time could tell what was wrong with the boy... Only time could tell right?

Adsila reached the path to the wishing well and Adsila could see someone standing at the wishing well and that someone looked familiar but Adsila didn't want to rush ahead and just assume that that is who it was.

The person at the wishing well looked like K, stood like K, dressed like K ... hmm it had to be K, but here was to assuming and that was not something that Adsila was up for, as Adsila had learned from K that assuming just made an ass out of you and me...
Adsila smiled to herself as she thought that thought.

Adsila started to slowly walk up the path as not to draw attention to herself and then slowly went a hid behind some bushes that we close to the wishing well.
K had not noticed her and if he had he was doing a good job at not showing that he had seen her.

Adsila then listened to what he was staying. Adsila loved to hear K speak, as there was something about his voice that just attracted her to it.

"Kyra... Leda... Shadow... Shi-" He choked up a bit at the thought of Shiress's name.

"As for Shiress, I have no comment... For I wasn't the one to hurt that girl.. If I have then the god's will judge me." He said as he tossed in a coin continuing on. "Bolivar... Adsila was curious as to who these people were that K was talking about. Were there other girls that were going after him? Was she up for some competition? Oh maybe this was going to be harder than she thought, but none the less, Adsila was not going to give up on her chase to get K. Adsila just had to tell him that nothing had happened that night, and Adsila only hoped that K would believe her.

K had been resting on the well for quite some time now, relaxing and clearing his mind. He had no need for further sulking of his life, for yes his depression was deep, but was it... Necessary? No. He quickly rose off of the well and flexed his muscles, flexing a bit to strengthen his body. Looking around at the empty scenery, he knew people would be filling the streets soon, as he decided to move. Starting to walk away from the well he thought to himself, was he making the right choices. 

Sighing a bit, he turned once more, until he turned and looked back at the well. "Just as I thought... She's here." He mumbled. Smiling a bit, he was surprised he could tell it was Adsila in the area, but for some reason he could sense it. Because of Kise, Kise had recognized the girls smell instantly, being the scouter of the group. K your being watched... I can't tell where she is but your being watched. "How do you know?" K whispered. I can just smell her, she doesn't smell bad just... She has a unique smell that's distinguishable because of the lacks of other scents due to the lack of people at the moment. I suggest escape.  

"Yeah..." K mumbled, slowly walking off, then turning into a full sprint. "She ain't gonna catch me! She's gonna expect to talk and stuff!" K grunted out as he ran, ring in his athletic clothes he was more open and versatile. "Where should I go Kise?" K blurted. "Beats me... Try the rooftops, she won't go looking up there!" Kise replied. Quickly K ran, he could hear her behind him, but the distance was unknown. Turning into an alley, he quickly mounted a ladder to the top of a simple store. Although the store was unknown, it seemed safe, as he sat atop of the roof hoping she didn't see him get up there. 

Wenches are crazy these days!

Shyke! K had sensed her. He knew that she was there some how and now was running away from her. As soon as Adsila seen that K was starting to sprint away from her she started running after him. Adsila was really getting close to him when all of a sudden he turned around a sharp corner and climbed up the ladder of a building. Adsila really didn't like climbing up ladders, they weren't sturdy enough for her usually. So Adsila started to follow the building. K had to come down at some point, and there was only one way to do as K was not thinking and picked only a one-way building. So Adsila just had to follow the building and watch for him to come down the building. Adsila could see his shadow along the top of the building and she just had to wait for him to come down. Or maybe K had something else up his sleeve. But once he got down he could probably just run from her again, but Adsila was hoping that she could catch up to him eventually.

Adsila stood at the end of the building where she could see all 3 sides and waited to see which side K would come down.

This B**** Was Crazy!  

Not only had she chased K but somehow, he had ended up on the defensive. Here he was, hiding atop a building, of course this was bad. He had no plans of escape, except one way, the latter. Standing up on the building he could see Adsila waiting, quickly dropping down to a crouch he began to think. "Dammit K think!" He grunted to himself, slamming his right fist on the roof, hearing a hollow sound. Looking down, he noticed an escape hatch, assumably for when people needed to escape a fire. Brilliant. For this move, K truly thought he was a genius, really. 

Slowly opening it up, he wasn't sure what store it was, but it was small. With people trying and lifting up knick knacks, chattering amongst themselves. This was perfect. As he slid in, the escape door lid silently closed after him with a small squeak. Finally dropping into the store, he paid not attention to details, he was a mere beast. His only goal was escape. Looking around rabidly almost snapping his neck, he found the doors, busting through them like some criminal he began running again. He couldn't see Adsila but he was sure she would see him, never turbot around though, he wouldn't know. Running and running till, he started to get tired. Keeping up the speed he began to realize it had to end soon, someone would end it. 

He began to cut corners, slowly moving this way and that way, he began to cut through alleys, he knew exactly where he was going. He ended up at the alley that he took Hadyn to, his blacksmith, and ... Not friend. But acquaintance. Finally being able to take no more he laid on a bench, staring at the alleys to see if he had lost her, his heart pumping gallons of blood. There was a bench five feet away from his bench, rather close, and he was afraid if she saw it she would wanna sit and talk. Hopefully he had lost her...

Just as Adsila was looking around the corner she heard a door slam open and people were moving quickly out of the way and what do you know, Kise appeared out of the doorway and started running away.

There must have been a hidden hatch at the top of the roof that lead to the inside of one of the buildings. Adsila thought to herself. Smart man.

K was pretty far ahead of her and she lost track of him, so she decided to look around and ask people if they have seen K go by.

"Excuse me sir?" Adsila asked one man that she was walking up to.
"Did you see a man about medium build, dark skin, run by here?"


The man started to talk to her, but she seen where his eyes went to and she seen K resting on a bench in an alleyway.

"Thanks so much!" Adsila yelled at the man, who now looked completely confused.

"But miss, you are going the wrong way." The man said in the distance.

Adsila very slowly and silently started to sneak up on the man. But as she got nearer she realized that this was not K. Adsila was hoping that K could not see her mistake and was getting ever farther and farther away.

K had been resting for a while, apparently she couldn't find him, just what he thought. He loved the idea of knowing his whole city, just like the back of his hand, his soft gloved bright protected hand. But then he began to wonder, what if... What if Adsila had gotten lucky and decided to find him, of course it was not possible. Was it? He began to become paranoid, as the thought of him losing her faded away, for now she really was closer. Or at least he thought so. "Dear gods... Where to hide. Where to hide!" He grunted out with an angry look on his face. He quickly hopped off of the bench, finally looking around. 

"If she finds me... She's gonna want to talk. About feelings and stuff." K said softly, sighing at the thought. He was scared, he was worried, he was... No. He instantly got a thought, causing a smile of evil intentions to crawl onto his face. "Of course, the last place she would be willing to check..." He began to walk off, twisting and turning through more corners, after about ten chimes he found himself at his destination. "Her house..." He said silently as he stood in front of Adsila's door, of course he knew breaking and entering was illegal but... If anyone asked he could always lie. 

Looking around swiftly, he noticed nobody in the area. Twisting the door it was locked of course, or at least that what it felt like. K didn't have time to jiggle the handle and look suspicious, so in one swift motion, he thrusting his hand forward blowing open the door. Quickly leaping in, he closed the door behind him, hearing a small click. "Syliras and those cheap doors... May the god's bless you lord Dyres." He said softly with a chuckle as he walked around.

"I forot Adsila had such a... Small house. It's kinda cramp..." He grunted out as he looked for some food, seeing a random cup sitting he didn't ask questions, instantly picking it up and swallowing it's contents. "Gods... That aftertaste." He said as he could tell he had just ingested alcohol. Quickly walking over to her bed, he laid on the right side, looking straight up at the ceiling. "If I'm gonna pass out in the future... I may as well get the sleep over with now. I hope she has fun out there looking for me!" He said with a chuckle, laughing at the girl as he closed his eyes and rested on the bed quickly falling asleep. Like always, his right arm fell off the bed, rubbing the floor, with his left hand in a fist on the left side of the bed. He was a lazy and greedy sleeper, always taking up the whole bed.

His plan? Sleep for a while, then wake up and go home. For she would never check her own home. Would she?

[Adsila]

No sooner had Adsila realized that the man was not Kise, she apologized and then continued on her way. Adsila had realized that she would never find him at this point, so she started to walk home. Adsila kept a very watchful eye on her way home just in case that she seen him on her walk home.

Adsila looked around every corner, every crook, every knick, but there was no sign of Kise, no matter where she looked.
Adsila hung her head in disappoint and looked at her feet.
Adsila walked all the way home, but she was not too disappointed, she still had tomorrow to look for Kise.

Adsila reached her apartment and she went to put her key in the door and she realized that it wasn't locked and that someone had / or is in her apartment.
Adsila got her bow and arrow ready and she silently went through her door.

As soon as Adsila entered her room, ready to shoot whoever it was that had broken in she realized that it was K...

What was K doing here?

Adsila pulled over the chair that was in her room and sat there and stared at K.
Adsila knew that he would have to wake up at some point or another.

K was asleep like a baby, not snoring or drooling but with a small smile on hide face, occasionally inhaling and exhaling deeply. He felt calm and cool, because like always, this is what the alcohol did to him. It slowed down his brain function and forced his personalities to... Operate differently. Inside of his mind... It was unexplainable. Outside though, he had felt weird. Slowly opening his eyes, he slid up a bit, finally sitting on the bed. He turned his heads to both sides, as if to assess what the time was by the light of the room. He couldn't tell, for he really didn't see much. A wall... A lamp... Adsila... A book... A bow... A-... Adsil-?

He quickly jumped up, rolling off of the bed and falling onto the floor. It wasn't serious enough to hurt him, but shocking enough to make him think. Slowly rising up and looking over the edge of the bed he could see Adsila staring at him, for his game was done. Painfully, he stretched a bit and then sat on the edge of the bed. His back facing the girl. "What the heck are you doing here?!" He grunted. "Oh wait... You live here." He rubbed his neck and then got up, walked around the bed and sat on the edge so he could face her. Looking her straight in her eyes, he spoke out softly. 

"Adsila why are you always staring at me? What could you possibly want?" He looked down at the woman, who wasn't naked, happy that this time nothing had happen. "If it pleases you... I'm just gonna go. I'm sorry." He said, quickly getting up, and heading for the door.
