Completed [Sacred Arch Hotsprings] A Short Meeting (Kouri)

Gaius had been released from the holding cell of the Syliras Knights only the other day, and his hand still throbbed with pain from when that damned Knight had broken it. He wandered into a secluded area of the Sacred Arch Hotsprings, hoping to soak his hand and maybe go and find a salve to help it heal.

At the moment though, he was simply hoping to soak the thing and help it to stop throbbing. It was a damned nuisance, not having proper balance. He was unable to eat, fight, use reimancy, or really do anything properly. It was a real pain. Hopefully the hotsprings would help.

[Fubuki Kouri]

Fubuki Kouri "Sigh..." A cute yet eerily haunting sigh escaped from Kouri's ethereal lips as she took a stroll in Syliras City's outskirts. Her mood was rather melancholic that day. She picked up a small wooden twig on the ground with her Soulmist tendrils and spun it around herself. I think... I'll have some fun at the Hotsprings... Kouri decided that she would prank the living bathing at the Sacred Arch Hotsprings to have some fun. Who knows, perhaps I can meet with Madame Kyra again! Ehehe... She had first met the big cat Kelvic at the hotsprings. After five chimes of floating, she finally arrived at the Hotspring. There were quite a lot of people bathing. Ehehe~ She giggled mischievously in her mind as she slowly dove into the ground, poke out her head, and headed to a secluded area to plan her pranking session today. As she headed to a particular secluded area, Kouri spotted that the area was not so secluded at all as a red-haired man was there first. Huh? Kouri's head that was poking out from the ground tilted in curiosity. It felt like she had met this man before... somewhere... "Uuuun..." Kouri thought hard about it then she saw the man dipping his right hand in the water and a surprised expression came to her face. "*Gasp!" he's the red-haired man who defended me in the... bazaar that day... and he was the one who took the punishment by that... petching knight... Kouri made an expression full of guilt at that memory. "...." She slowly rose herself up from the ground and approached the Inartan. "U-uhm..." Kouri materialized herself and slowly hugged the man from behind. "Hey... remember me?" One of her tendrils shot up from her back and gently rubbed the Inartan's right hand. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry that you're the one who took punishment because of my doing..."

Gaius sighed contentedly as he dipped his hand in the hot spring, the warm water soothing the aching muscles and joints of his broken hand. He smiled gently as the pain dissapated. Then, suddenly, a pair of arms were wrapped around him, hugging him, and a long tendril was rubbing at his hand. He was so surprised that he simply froze up, almost missing hearing her speak.

As Gaius realized that this was the ghost girl from the market, his smile returned and he nodded. "It's alright. They were being real twits, but so was I. He shouldn't have singled you out to berate you, you were just confused. But I shouldn't have used magic in Syliras proper. I should have remembered the rules."

Slowly, he turned, keeping himself in her arms, and hugged her gently, wincing at his hand as a shot of pain went through it. "Thank you for being so considerate though," he said with a smile.

[Fubuki Kouri]

Fubuki Kouri "Un~" Kouri cooed when the Inartan turned around and hugged her back. She always liked a father figure who defended and protected her. It was easy to win Kouri's trust, one just need to shower her with paternal affection; if you don't mind a phantom touching you with her frosty touch every now and then that is. Kouri kept comforting herself in the man's hug. Her hair ribbons magically disappeared and her very long ethereal white hair slowly wrapped itself around the man's body akin to a blankent. "You know..." Kouri slowly whispers to the Inarta. "We haven't introduce each other... my name is Fubuki Kouri, ehehe~ You can call me Kouri. What's your name, Ser?" Kouri inquired, her tendril still rubbing the man's right hand all the while.

Gaius smiled, though if one looked close they could see he was slightly nervous at being so wrapped up by the ghost. She was obviously happy to be there, and his hug obviously gave her some modicum of comfort, so he suppressed his inexplicable nervousness. "Kouri. A lovely name. I'm Gaius. Gaius Sivet, though, you can just call me Gaius," he replied with a smile.

After a moment, he sat, still hugging her gently, her hair and arms still wrapped around him. Her rubbing at his hand was a nice feeling, soothing some of the ache and pain in it. "Thank you for that, Kouri," he said with a nod to his hand. He didn't want to admit it, but he knew that, if she wanted to, she could possess him. He didn't relish that thought, but he figured it was an unlikely occurence. Besides, he didn't want to jump to conclusions. That squire had done just that and it had been foolish of him. And that was not Gaius.

"So, what are you doing out here, Kouri?" he asked with a smile.

[Fubuki Kouri]

Fubuki Kouri "Oh! Ehehe~ Okay then, Ser Gaius" Kouri happily said the man's name. Kouri kept hugging him as he sat down, then she shifted her position so it looked like she was sitting on his lap. Then she released her hug and layed the side of her head on Gaius' chest. "Oh? What am I doing here? Ehehehe... weeeeell~ I want to uuh... have some... 'fun', ehehe~" Her smile was quite wicked and mischievous as she said that sentence. "Do you... want to see it? Mwe he he~" Kouri's voice hauntingly echoes in the area as she slowly vanished and appeared beneath the water surface. She didn't even wait for Gaius' reply as she set her prank into motion. Kouri floated beneath the surface for a few moments, placing herself in a perfect location; beneath a group of four people, two men and two women, chatting with each other while bathing. "Ehehehe..." She flashed a wicked toothy grin and immediately tickle their feet. Shouts of confused laughter and curses erupted from the men and women as they tried to figure out what was going on. "Ahahaha..." Kouri watched in glee as she upped the ante. She stealthily extended one of her tendrils to rub one of the women's breast and quickly retracted it. She immediately heard shouts of anger and a slapping sound. The woman accused one of the men of sexual harassment and slapped him. Ohooo! ohohohoho! Kouri was satisfied, very satisfied. Stifling her giggles, she quickly floated back to Gaius. Poking her head out of the water, she smiled at him. "Did you like it? Ehehe~"

Gaius smiled lightly as she leaned against him, very much acting like the child she appeared to be. As she spoke, he could detect the mischief in her voice and knew she was up to no good. He opened his mouth to reply to her question and then she was gone. He looked around and barely caught a glimpse of a shadow on the bottom of the water. A moment later, a group of two men and women were laughing and shouting in confusion.

Gaius chuckled at that. He barely kept himself from laughing out loud when one of the women grabbed at herself, covering her chest and slapping one of the men, shouting angrily. As Kouri came back, he nodded with a smile. "Oh yes, that was quite amusing. I can see why you like doing it," he said with a grin.

Fubuki Kouri "Oh! Ehehe~" Kouri giggled in surprise and excitement, she was kind of expecting that Gaius would scold her like adults normally do to a naughty child; but he complimented her instead. "Right? Right? It's fun! Hehehe~ Some people just can't understand... but you..." Kouri vanished from the water surface and appeared in front of Gaius, she sat in front of him and looked at his eyes. "but you understand, ehehe~ I like you, Sir Gaius, you're different" She happily gazed at him. "So, how's that hand of yours? Is it still hurting? Oh! I see! So that's why you are here... this spring could heal wounds, people said" Kouri made a thinking expression as she figured out her own question. "Hmmm..." Kouri examined Gaius from head to toe. "Hey... since we're already here... how about you take a bath? Ehehe~" Kouri viewed Gaius as another paternal figure and she suddenly missed the time she took a bath together with her parents. "Here come on, come on!" Kouri extended her tendrils and pulled Gaius' healthy hand, his left one. "Let's take a bath togethe- oh! Ehehe~ I bet you wanna remove your clothes first? Go ahead! I promise I won't look~" Kouri didn't even wait for Gaius' reply on whether he wanted to take a bath or not. She turned around, facing away from Gaius, giving him some privacy.

Gaius smiled as she appeared in front of him and he nodded. "Yes, you could certainly call me different..." he muttered quietly, mostly to himself. Then, suddenly, she was smiling and pulling on his left hand, trying to get him into the hot springs. For a moment, he hesitated. After all, he barely knew her. Still, she seemed nice enough and there would be no harm in it. So, as she turned away, Gaius stripped from his clothes, laying everything neatly beside the hot spring, before climbing in and sighing in contentment as the water soothed his aching hand.

"Yes, you were right, this is quite lovely. Thank you, Kouri," he said with a soft smile.

Fubuki Kouri OOCGaius, I think this will be last post for the thread, unless of course you have something more to add. Just hola me a PM if you want to finish the thread and I will post it to a ST's office for grading or reply if you want to continue. Kouri slowly opened her eyes and looked at Gaius, now he was bathing in the spring with the water surface up to his chest. "Ehehe~ Then, uhm... I can't exactly take a bath, but I think..." Kouri slowly focused herself and her form begun to rapidly flicker. Hun... I... I can do this... She deepened her focus and her 'body' slowly changes, her clothes, headband and ribbons disappearing. She now looked like a fully naked little girl. "Oh! Ahahaha~ I can do it after all~" She examined her own body and was proud of her achievement. "So, uuuh, I'm coming in~" Kouri slowly floated just above the water surface near Gaius and dropped down, now her body up to her neck was beneath the water surface. "Ehehe~ just one final touch~" Kouri made her tendrils disappeared and materialized herself, she was trying to appear and feel as 'human' as possible. "Oooh~ Now I can feel it... the water's warm... aaah~" She sighed in contentment. With her lacking any bodily warmth in her ghostly state, Kouri appreciated heat auras very much; whether it's coming from another people's body, the sun, or warm liquids. She was like an endless void of cold that was always trying to suck in all warmth near it. Kouri placed a bundle of her very long hair in front of her right shoulder and began to wash it or at least trying to looked like she was washing it. After a few chimes, she dreamily gazed at the Inartan in front of her, approached him, and hugged Gaius. "I wish... moments like this could stay for all eternity..." She whispered, her haunting voice echoing in the springs.
