Spring 29th, 513 AV.
It was unseasonally hot today as Titus made his way to the docks to earn some money. How he despised the fact that someone like him had to be working in a place like this. Not out fighting beast and making money that way. He groaned loudly before making his way to the harbor master. He could feel the awkward stares and glances coming his way, he just shrugged them off like he did every day. He cleared his throat, which cause the master to turn around. "Can I help you?" the man asked, looking up at Titus. He was a short man, not short on muscles though. Titus thought he could probably hold his own in a fight which caused him to smile. "Yeah I'm looking for work and was told that the docks could use a hand" Titus said, trying to be respectful about it. His life basically depends on this, if he couldn't get some money he wouldn't be able to travel, unless he wanted to risk traveling alone and even he wasn't that hard headed. The man looked Titus over and with a sly, sort of evil, smile he said "Yeah. You can help the others unload the Picana." The man pointed out to one of the docks. Titus turned and saw a pretty massive ship, atleast massive for this dock. He nodded and made his way over to the ship, cursing under his breath as he made his way there. When he got there he walked over to the gangplank and made his way up it onto the ship. He watched as some smaller men struggled to pull a large crate out of a doorway. Titus pushed them aside and lifted the crate up pulling it out. "Put your backs into it" he said with a smirk and made his way back onto the dock. Following the instructions of a man he figured to be in charge of unloading the ship. He sat the crate down next to some others and walked back. It was gonna be a long day. He groaned and rolled his shoulders as he prepared for the tiresome work ahead of him. The two smaller guys looked at him, as he made his way back onto the ship. He nodded at both of them and headed into the ship. He heard one of the curse at him, which cause a smile to spread across his face. He'd have to try and behave. The last thing he wanted was the monks to get on him. He looked at the load in the ships cargo bay and groaned loudly. A bigger worked chucked and said "Yeah don't look as easy now does it?", before turning and carrying some crates out. The day went on as he finally finished unloading the ship. He walked down the dock and over to the harbor master. "That was a lot more then I expected" Titus said, sweat dripping from his forehead as his breathing was a bit labored. "Petch, man. You lasted longer then I though. Guess that muscles isn't just for show. You wouldn't know how many 'big' guys we get down here who tire out real quick" he said with a chuckle. "You've done good kid" he added.
