Completed [The Great Bazaar] Phantom in the Market (Oleander)

[Fubuki Kouri]

Fubuki Kouri "Uwaaaaah! Uweeeeh!" Kouri kept crying and started to put her clenched fists to her eyes, bawling. She didn't see the disturbance her banshee-like voice caused and just kept on wailing. "Uwaaah! Uwa-eh?" Her crying stopped momentarily when she felt the warmth aura of the living near her. She slowly opened her eyes and found Merle hugging her... or at least looked like hugging her as she was unmaterialized and couldn't be touched by normal means. It seemed that Merle understood that now and positioned himself to look like he was hugging her. "....Huk..." Kouri let out a cute sob as she materialized herself to allow herself to be hugged for real. Then she quickly hugged Merle back, sucking his bodily warmth to calm herself down. "....uun~" Kouri cooed like a little girl and slowly settle down. The people who watched them sighed in relief, silently thanking this young man for saving their eardrums. "......O-okay... y-you win... you win, Sir Merle... Ehehe..." Kouri whispered to Merle, accepting her defeat. "Now then as promised... what do you want to ask me?" Staying true to her deal, Kouri inquired Merle about it. "I will answer truthfully... ehehe, honest~" In her mind, she had no intention of lying. This man had shown her affection and it was enough to make Kouri trusted him.

[Oleander]

Kouri began to calm down. Oleander felt slightly awkward hugging her, not because he didn’t know her very well, but because she wasn’t solid; he felt like he was hugging thin air. However, Oleander continued to hold this position when suddenly he felt little arms wrapping around his body. Kouri seemed to have made herself solid to receive a proper hug and give one back to him. Oleander was slightly surprised by this gesture. However, he hugged her slight tighter to comfort her a little more. He body seemed so fragile as if she could break. When Oleander looked at the people around him and Kouri, people gestured their thanks as they rub their ears. When Kouri had calmed down, she began to whisper to Oleander about his reward for winning. Her soft voice was like a cool breeze brushing against his ear. Oleander slowly pulls away from their hug so he can look at Kouri. He looked at her with his mismatched brown eyes. A small smile grew on his face and his lips began to twitch open. “Okay, this is the question I want to know Kouri. I think I know it but I want you to confirm it for me.” All I want to know is “what are you?” You’re a child with the extraordinary ability to fly and pass through objects, and also jump from one place to another. Your appearance differs from an average being, and you’re weightless as well… I don’t know why I didn’t think of is sooner… Fabuki Kouri, you’re a… “Would you like to spend the rest of the night to have a stroll around the city?" … ghost… but I guess that’s something you don’t want to be reminded of…

[Fubuki Kouri]

Fubuki Kouri "Eh? Awww..." Kouri made a disappointed moan when Merle released her hug. She was know kneeling on the ground with her lower legs spread apart. "Ehehe~" She beamed him a cute smile "So~ What's the question?". Then Merle told her that he wanted to confirm something. "Eh? Of course! And what do you want to confirm?" The answer took Kouri by surprise, Merle stood up and offered her to stroll with him around the city. Kouri's crimson eyes figuratively shined as she floated up to a standing position and still materialized, grabbed his left hand with both of her hands. "Okay~ I'll follow you~ Ehehe~" She leaned her head to his body, her feet floating at a few inches above the ground, ready to wherever Merle would take her. Then the odd couple walked out of the Bazaar, heading for a stroll in the lovely Fortress City. OOCThe last post! I will post it for grading.
