Kolvia is a pretty woman, short and slender with an athletic build and soft apparent curves. Fair skin is complimented by her elbow length slightly wavy, loose light blonde hair and striking bright blue eyes. She moves in a graceful manner involuntarily shaking her round hips as she walks. Even though she is in her twenties, she barely looks sixteen. Her usual attire is a bit revealing for a Riverian woman but mainly because she basks in the attention males give to her when she saunters by. She likes low cut frilly loose short sleeved stylish shirts, shorts or caprees and beaded sandals in warm weather and felt cloaks, fur coats, long sleeves, pants and subtle leather boots when it gets chilly.

Personality I Act Like This...Deal With It Kolvia is a very proud and stubborn woman, she is proud to be a healer of Riverfall and individual possessing Rak'keli's mark. She is also grudging proud of holding the status of a Nakivak because she is in a way, driven by duty to her city and likes the small perks the title comes with even though she is bond to serve the city like a slave is to their master. She dispises the fact that she is told who she is to mate with, feeling the lacking freedom of choice. Her stuborness, usually leads her to do something irrational and stupid so she could be right, or feel like she was. Kolvia is very forward in the things that she wants, preferring not to waste her time with smalltalk when there's a job to do. She is very blunt pointing out the obvious, flaws or mistakes either unconsciously to or on purpose. Above all, Kolvia is a extremely determined woman and will not be above taking extreme measures for her loved ones, or a lost cause like a severely wounded person. She stops when she drops. To strangers, Kolvia is actually soft spoken like her mother, almost shy and very polite and generally trying to avoid conflict. She stays that way if your lucky unless you happen to bump into her again and usually if she happens to remember you, she tosses the formalities and greets you with open ams excitedly and if your not on great terms with her, you might be lucky if she's polite. Surprisingly, Kolvia is somewhat patient and a pleasant temperament due to her training in medicine from her mother. She isn't likely to lash out at anyone, so long as they don't pry or push her buttons, she holds privacy to be something all should respect. Kolvia is not cruel nor does she find pleasure in seeking revenge often, unless someone really pissed her off. Kolvia naturally has a love for children and is a healer at heart and hiden behind all her muddled up traits, she is very kind and compassionate. Character Concept It's All About Me Kolvia is a healer through and through, and will jump at the chance to help anybody nd everybody, in medical need no matter who or what they are or whether its within her powers to help or not. Kolvia strives for a better world, and with such a goal also comes the dream to open up her own hospital renown for its extroidinary medical services to all races, genders and people of all ages. She wants to be recognized as a devoted healer and fantizes that one day, she's chosen to become Rak'keli's champion, receiving all four marks.

History Back To The Past Raised and born in Riverfall she was immersed by the Akalak culture the total opposite from the one her mother was raised with in Mura on Konti Isle. Kolvia was lucky to be raised by both her parents. Her mother, Oria is a Konti and her father, Soryn was an esteemed Akalak. They were both fortunately married. Her father had always favored her two older brothers Tarun and Giolm over her. She was a girl and a Konti no less, he not knowing what to do with her half the time, left Kolvia to her mother's care and teachings and coached her brothers for their first rite of passage. Kolvia didn't get along with her mother at all. They were opposites, Kolvia was loud, aggressive and outspoken, her mother soft spoken, quiet and passive. Rough housing with her brothers often earned her a puzzled disapproving frown from her mother and hearty laugh from her father. Which in turn left Kolvia to wonder how her father and mother hooked up in the first place. Kolvia was never as physically fit or athletic as her siblings or practically any children she hung around with whether they were Akalak or not. A valid reason for this was because of Rak'keli's mark, the healing gnosis she'd received at birth. The mark didn't cause her to be weak, it just made her hesitate to do the potentially dangerous an activity her friends exercised avidly. Then again, being physically fit was hard and she was just plain lazy. She rather be inside swinging her Savui or practicing medicine with her mother than being out and about exploring. Staying inside made it easier to avoid the odd looks she got from her peers, when she fretted about every little a scratch. Oria encouraged Kolvia to stay inside so she could teach her daughter about the Konti and their culture. But whenever her mother encouraged just about anything, Kolvia went rebellious and did the opposite it often took her father to demand she stay put for such matters as he didn't care that much anyway. Still, Kolvia was active enough during her childhood to boast a well toned body when she grew older. On Oria's insistence, the family traveled to Mura to fully introduce Kolvia to the Konti culture and meet her distant relatives when she was 15. They actually lived there for about two years before upon Kolvia's constant requests, they returned to Riverfall. Their tight knit family relationship with one another, fell apart when her father died when she was twenty one. Her brothers moved out to their own homes and her mother lapsed into a deep emotional depression of silence, even Kolvia with her gnosis couldn't free her from. Three weeks passed before her mother spoke again and it was just to tell Kolvia that she was leaving. Though Kolvia protested her mother left Riverfall anyway, heading back to her home in Mura on Konti Isle. Kolvia's mother left a week later, and she was alone. Thankfully her mother had left her a hundred gold mizas and didn't leave her penniless. Kolvia sold the house a week later, because she couldn't stand to live in it without the comfort of another person. Kolvia had 600gms because of it and moved into the Pearl House. The next day, Kolvia made up her mind to go after her mother and try once last time to persuade her to stay in Riverfall, but Kolvia got lost and was attacked by a mother grass bear protecting her cubs. Kolvia managed to run into a small band of Akalak, who somehow managed to warn the beast off without killing her. She thanked the Akalak and they in a response they grinned and dragged her back to Riverfall. The council deemed her a Nakivak and seemed rather happy about it, even though she was once a citizen of Riverfall as well as being born there. They simply stated it was the custom, no exceptions, then kicked her out of the building. Kolvia's brothers protested as her childhood friends and former neighbors. But to no avail. She returned to her apartment in the Pearl House unhappily at the sudden change of events. Young, naive and irresponsible as she was she took advantage of her new status as a Nakivak and with the government's encouragement, she got herself into deep debt. The sad thing was, it took less than a month for her to do it, she gambled, bought expensive clothes, a guard dog for no reason, and bought a apartment at the Kuahala Estates. She even surprised herself when she bought a fourteen year old Human, Dykas slave named Olivia. Kolvia didn't realize how far she'd gotten into debt until an elder forced her into a contract she wasn't allowed by law to refuse. She gave birth to his child a boy, a year later. She believed the birth would end her status as a Nakivak, and then she would go back to the life of a regular person again, but the birth of her son just made her more valuable. She was still in debt and she hated it.

Konti Gift Its a Family Thing Gender physic Kolvia knows the gender of any child either she's carrying or someone she knows well enough to call a friend. Though if she or a close friend is carrying twins, it only depends on whether they are carrying a boy and a girl or twins of the same gender. If the twins are the same gender, Kolvia won't see two babies but rather only one, but for twins with a girl and a boy, her senses get muddled up for she sees the babies with no genders, it's just a blank page. Gnosis May The Gods Favor Me Rak'keli's mark 1 Kolvia received the healing gnosis of Rak'keli at birth. Rak'keli appeared to Kolvia once her mother was downstairs recovering and Kolvia, in a crib being checked for her health. When a nurse left the room for a moment to get a supply, he goddess appeared and marked Kolvia with her winged serpent mark then vanishing but not before bidding Kolvia to serve both the goddess and the injured faithfully. The winged serpent appears on the back of her right hand which is the only part of Kolvia with scales that she doesn't try to cover up. Kolvia doesn't have a problem with blood thinking of it as a natural thing that was woven into life itself, she doesn't cower easily at the sight of it. Kolvia is driven by a strong overwhelming desire to heal a injured person whether it be a physical or mental injury beyond her abilities to heal, or the person be a different race or even an animal. She believes believes that if the creature is heal-able, she will be one to try, as is her duty to Rak'keli. She will rarely if ever give up even if the person or animal are in the brink of death. More often than not, she could pass out from the stress Of healing so many people in one day, or when she's put all her energy into a heal, the stress and concentration could easily exhaust her making her slumber for a time afterwards. She believes that having the healing gnosis Kolvia can close scrapes and cuts or any shallow wound that falls into that category. Purifying a wound takes little or no effort for Kolvia to do quickly but it could very well be the most important part of wounds to prevent infection. Her gnosis also covers the ability to dissolve headaches and make the common cold, rashes, skin irritations, snake bites, allergies, depression and ease tense muscles. Clearing up light bruising are also in Kolvia's range of expertise.

They share the same gnosis of healing. Oria was a respected doctor in Riverfall and passed down her knowledge of medicine to her daughter. She is very wise and loves all her children wishing the best for all of them, though she particuarly hopes that her daughter will one day fulfill her calling and find peace. Kaliva left Riverfall after her husband died in a raid, she didn't want to be pursued by other men and wanted to return home to Mura, so she left to do so, leaving Kolvia to fend for herself. Soryn/Xcion Olevias (Father) Race: Akalak Status: Dead Skills: Leadership(20), Lakan(30) All her life until her father's sudden death, Kolvia sought her father's attention. He favored his two sons over his Konti daughter leaving it up to Oria to teach Kolvia the ways of a Konti. When she was younger, Kolvia rebelled ashamed of the Konti race convinced that they were a weak race compared to the Akaluk and wishing she was born one. Soryn turned a blind eye to this, neither discouraging or encouraging but rather as always letting his wife deal with it. He taught Kolvia a thing or two about animal husbandry. He was shot in the chest by an arrow to the heart by slavers in a raid. Tarun/Hurrio Olevias (Brother) Race: Akalak Status: Alive Age: 28 Skills: Duel Lakan(50) Tarun always made time for Kolvia when they were children, and even taught her how to wield a short sword to protect herself, when he wasn't training for his rite. Now he moved away into his own house and joined the militia. He was always a good fighter and is probably striving to be a great warrior like their father. He trains daily, excited for his up coming rite of a man. Giolm/Rituu Olevias (Brother) Race: Akalak Status: Alive Age: 25 Skills: Intelligence (15), Philosophy(30), Composition(5) Giolm was the scholarly one, his nose always stuck in a book. As children he had her quiz him and in returned quizzed her on the same material. It was impossible not to learn anything from Giolm, for once you got him going about philosophy or any extremely boring scholarly topic, you couldn't shut him up to save your life...or his. He spends his time in the academy expanding his vocabulary and knowledge. Yuitus/? The Konti is thrilled with he mere feeling of holding power over another, she would be a fair mistress though for both her kind nature and gnosis mark will keep her in check. Kolvia has high hopes and expectations for the young girl, excited to teach her the art of medicine so Olivia can be her assistant of sorts. Olivia on the other hand is terrified with a broken spirit; the girl's previous masters treated her horribly, scaring her mentally and physically. She believes Kolvia will be no different, but desperately wants to stay in Riverfall because of their laws for slaves. The young girl was picked off the sea of grass when she was seven, because she wandered too far from camp while playing a game and got lost. She was quickly captured by slavers, broken, then bounced around from master to master and back again. She doesn't talk much, afraid of saying something accidentally offensive. Olivia usually attempts to stay quite and speak when spoken to, but her natural curiosity sometimes gets the better of her. She is terrified of Sachia, Kolvia's Imperial Watcher because she is in charge of taking care of her. Sachia seems to tolerate the girl because Olivia's on good terms with Kolvia, much to Olivia's relief. Something that Olivia enjoys when she's not seeing to Koliva's needs, is visiting the Riverfall Stables, where Alabar and her sweet Shire are. Kolvia gave Olivia the Zavian mare Shire, because she didn't want to share her own mount, Alabar with the girl. Kolvia works on the poor girl's depression and overall condition daily with her gnosis and Olivia is improving, her spark slowly coming back. Olivia has become more of a younger sister to Kolvia than a slave and she is very protective of her, she also gives the girl some money so Olivia can buy little things for herself. After spending the past year with Kolvia, Olivia has become accustomed to her duties and thinks of herself as more as Kolvia's servant than her slave because the Konti treats her so well. They've ridden together on the backs of their mounts, talked freely to each other, even fought. They're so close they are like sisters and it wouldn't surprise Olivia if Kolvia freed her. The mare is extremely attached to Olivia showing the girl so much affection, that Kolvia swears that the Zavian must be part Strider. Shire is extremely competitive and is not a horse who is likely to give up easily because of it. She frequently wins races against Alabar but both Kolvia and Olivia believe that Alabar is letting Shire. The last thing you want to see is Shire lose, because she whines about it and gets into a foul mood that may last weeks on end. Shire is very protective and of Olivia especially, the mare is always alert when the girl is on her back. Alabar - Gildling Gender: Male (Stallion) Age: 4 (DOB: 89th of Winter 509) Purpose: Riding Coat color: Palomino Mane color: Light strawberry blonde Personality: Easy going, protective, kind, lazy, quick thinker, smart, instinctive, suspicious of strangers Background: Alabar is a goofball, stealing Kolvia's things when she's not looking and enjoys nibbling on her hair because he knows she doesn't like it because it makes her hair all wet and stringy. Though Alabar might act like silly, he is no fool and responds to danger quickly and effectively often before it happens. He is a quick thinker and if possible will always chose flight than to fight simply because he doesn't like fighting very much and is sort of a cansanova that way. Alabar is very protective of Kolvia and Olivia both and is suspicious of strangers. He and Scachia are best buddies and are caught frequently playing pranks on Shire when they're together. He likes Shire a lot and does a lot of stupid things to get her attention often failing at it. Sachia - Imperial Watcher Age: 2 years (DOB: 4th of Spring 511) Weight: 120lb Size: Huge, head stands up to Kolvia's chest and taller than Kolvia on hind legs Fur color: Raven black, short Purpose: Guard dog Personality: Dominant, aggressive, obedient, brave, energetic, playful, loyal, loving, alert and aware, vicious when attacking Background: Kolvia bought Sachia when she was a pup and is so close to the dog that she trusts her with her life. Sachia takes guard duty seriously and sort of herds Kolvia in crowds circling her friend. Sachia only lets Kolvia pet her and tolerates Olivia's company, around other people, wheter she know them or not, if they don't get the okay from Kolvia, Sachia will bite them if they try to either pet her, or talk, and touch Kolvia. When she spots someone approaching them, Sachia will place herself either close to Kolvia's side or directly in front of her mistress. Sachia is a very aggressive dog usually only letting Kolvia walk her or lead her in general. All in all, Sachia is about as silly as Alabar and gets along with the stallion well. Housing Welcome to my home... Kuahala Estates Appartment Apartment: Paid with debt Kolvia's Apartment is located on the very top level with a large half circle window located in the middle of the room and half as big as it. The window shows off the beautiful view of the cliffs and the ocean below. Sliding doors are on the right of the window allowing accesses to the small but elegant balcony outside. Soothing earthy colors paint the walls giving the apartment a homey feeling. Polished stone floors are found underfoot. The room itself would look like a large and very spacious rectangle from above. A large fine sturdy wooden bed covered with golden silk sheets revealed by the halfway diagonally pulled back reversible cotton and velvet burgundy blanket. The bed is lined horizontally against one wall, left of the large window, and with a black end table next to it. Two soft fluffy white pillows decorate the top of the bed and a beautifully carved wooden wardrobe is situation directly across from them. A fine desk and chair are arranged to the right of the window facing the wall. A metal hearth sits cozily in a corner warming up the place nicely when it gets cold. Another bed sits out of the way across the room near the hearth, it is small and much cheaper than the more expensive one. It is thoughtlessly covered with a white covered linen sheet and wool brown blanket. A large fine white couch is situated in the middle of the room facing the window to give a comfortable place to sit an a direct breathtaking view. Just a little off to the right side of the couch is a smooth light dark brown table accompanied by three matching chairs.
