Won't Back Down

Tallis settled in next to Marx on the mesh netting between the hulls and placed his arm behind her. He then leaned his body against hers to feel even closer to her. They were near the front of the boat and once they hit the open water and the sails filled the cool spring breeze sprayed across his face. Tallis could not have been happier than at that moment.

He breathed in deeply the cool spring air as the skimmer crossed the water. Any thoughts of the slavers were relegated to a distant memory only thoughts of Marx filled his mind.

“I’ve crossed this lake many times and I don’t think I’ve ever seen it this beautiful.” He said softly next to her ear. So close that he felt her reddish hair tickle his face as the wind blew it into him. “It’s almost as beautiful as you are. I can’t wait until we are across the water and into the forest. We will be free from all the eyes in the city. And you can run without any cares.”

Her hair blew in the wind. It looked so much of a deeper, ruby red with all the rays of the sun hitting it. As he spoke the soft words to her, her cheeks lit up with the reddish hue of her rustic hair. She looked out over the waters, she could see the outline of the forest now. It had only been a few hours and how she missed it so "You say things sometimes that I'm not sure how to response to. Most of me says to nuzzle you, even lick you but I'm not sure if that's a comfortable thing to do in a human relationship."

She turned around, sitting on her knees. His arm still kept around waist. Her hands reached down to skim the waters surface and feel the drops of water the boat made jump up.

Won't Back Down

It would difficult for a while and Tallis knew it. Marx was not all that old it would take a while for him to adjust and be patient. She did not have the advantage of being born human, she was Kelvic. As she played with the water he thought over what she must be experiencing. The sites and the sounds with most of it being experienced for the first time had to be thrilling for her. For him it was everything in that he knew. Most everything in Ravok he knew. He was so familiar with it having been born there was hardly anything new.

Outside of Ravok was a different story. He had only been to Sylira once and that had not been much of an experience. As he gazed at Marx he considered that she was used to freedoms in her short life that he had never experienced. If they could save up enough money they could see the entire world they lived in he thought. At the right time he would present the idea to her. Right now they were still getting to know each other and that was an adventure all in itself.

Tallis moved his hand to massage her lower back with soft caresses and tilted his head so he could see her face. “I would say licking me while in your human form might not be appropriate.” He said with a chuckle and with amusement in his eyes. “A kiss on the lips or the cheek would be the correct response to some of the things I say to you.”

He turned his head up to see the looming forest and the Trading post coming into view. The forest had its own dangers but he wasn’t worried. He may not know the forest as well as Ravok but he had spent considerable time in it when he was free to do so. “The forest looks peaceful don’t you think. It’s like it’s expecting us.”

Won't Back Down

She looked over at it, her lips humming he when began to caress her lower back "The woods always look inviting Tallis. They're part of my home." She turned back around, putting a hand to his chest and kissing him "You're very sweet Tallis."

Her wet fingers travelled up his chest, to his neck, and resting at his hairline, where it was getting pushed back by the wind. He was a very handsome man. And he smelled so spicy and sweet. Her hands pushed into his hair, feeling the locks around it fingers. She brought his face closer. She had never had the time or someone to study someone's face in such detail. Her thumbs curled over the thickness of his eyebrows, his straight nose, his pink lips.

She kissed him again, then licked over his lips. She sat back in her seat as if nothing at all had happen. Her eyes again trained on the ever approaching shore.

Won't Back Down

His eyes watched with equal curiosity as she brought her face close. The look in her eyes and feeling he got when she got very close started his heart beating a little faster. He hoped that thrill would never disappear with her. Then taking in a sharp breath of air when the parted lips he kept his eyes closed to savor the moment.

“I think you’re the sweet one.” Tallis said as he leaned back and put his arm back around her. She knew nothing of his past and the things he had done for organized crime in the city. He never asked questions when doing a job for them but with it come the not knowing who you might be hurting. He was far from sweet to others he supposed.

In a few minutes the dock on the other side of lake started to come into view. It looked less like a dot on the horizon now that the skimmer was closing in on it. In a few moment they would be free to run into the forest and seek out the little meadow he knew of. He only hoped that no one else would be there. It would only spoil the alone moment that he and Marx could share.

“We are almost there. In a few minutes we can head for the forest and be alone for the afternoon. We will have to watch the time though. There are not to many skimmers that operate at night.” He said as he nudged her with his body.

Her skin jumped with excitement. Watching the approaching shore was too much. The boat shook a little when she jumped out. Not stopped by being in ankle deep water, she ran out, having little regard for the edges of the dress with was wearing. She giggled and cheered, too playful to be really ever bottled up. With rapid motion she took off her pack and ran into the forest.

She returned a moment later when she remembered that she was leaving Tallis behind "Come on, Slowpoke!" She yelled out, grinning madly. Her hair again blew in the wind. Her hands were at the front of her dress, undoing the laces so that she could take off the clothing.

Won't Back Down

Postby Tallis Ishtari on May 22nd, 2013, 11:48 pm

Tallis laughed softly and shook his head from side to side. He was happy to see the joy in her entire being. She glowed. He was sure that she did and wasted no time jumping into the water when she came back out of the forest.

“I’m coming!” He yelled in her direction. Once out of the water he started to job in her direction. Then when he saw that she was taking off her dress his eyes got bigger. “Do that in the forest my love! Not in front of everyone!” He said with a laugh.

A part of him wished he would have waited for the boat to dock before jumping into the ankle deep water. It would take part of the afternoon for his shoes to dry. He took off in a run after he had picked up her pack. He would not stop until he was hidden in the forest with her.

Won't Back Down

She giggled as he stopped her from undressing. She made some comment that sounded a lot like "Silly humans." as he ran with her through the forest. She slowed down his pace for him until they came to a stop. The forest echoed of nothing but the trees swaying in the breeze. She noticed his shoes "You should take those off, they're wet." She knew certain diseases or infections could be caught from wet shoes. He would need them anyhow. The grass was soft and lush here. No roots or rocks would cause him harm.

Her elegant fingers returned to the front of her dress, pulling off the laces once more. When done, she pushed the fabric off her shoulders, letting it pool in a heap around her bare feet. She wore nothing else. She stepped out of the clothes, picking it up and rolling it so she could place it on a pile ontop of her back that Tallis had put down by a tree.

She put a hand on her hip, quirking a brow "You ready?"

Won't Back Down

No sooner had Tallis started taking off his shoes Marx was wearing nothing. She was there in her birthday suit. He wasn’t sure how to answer when she asked if he was ready. The tan coloration of her skin was alluring and he could not stop himself from admiring her body. He gulped and then blew air out from barely parted lips.

When is brain finally acknowledged what Marx had said he nodded and pressed his lips together. He had to focus. She wanted to run and he was to try and focus and run with her. How could he? She was not wearing a shred of clothing. He was not sure he could get that image out of his mind. Not that he wanted to.

“I’m ready.” He said and steady himself to be running in an instant. “I’ll try to keep up.”

Won't Back Down

The scent in the air changed a bit. Her nose twitched. She giggled, stepping into him and kissing his cheek. She morphed, sparing him anymore awkwardness.

On four legs now, she did a complete circle around him, red fur rubbing into him before she took off. She was so much faster though. She would circle back, tongue flopping out. She yipped, trotting along. Under her feet was soft grass, and around her was her bondmate.

She made sure to keep him within a few feet, that is until she saw something that caught her eye. A squirrel. She turned on her heels, darting after it. But the clever little son of a bitch saw her coming and climbed quickly up it's tree, even with a powerful leap of a Dhole on it's tail. She tried jumping up, barking. Her claws clawed the bark, yipping at the animal. She could just see it teasing her and she growled.
