OLD [Syliras' OOC Thread] The Calm within the Storm

There is a set of Familiars already in the lore, so I suggest you read up on them. The Familiars Mizahar currently has need Djed and survive on Djed. I can't stress this anymore. They wouldn't bond to a ghost because the ghost doesn't have Djed, and there are no Un-Djed ones. Take a look at the Familiary lore and the Familiars we provide!

SWORDS-N-SLAVER SHENANIGANS!


This... well, not really, but close

Razkar is putting together a little... enterprise, in the near future. Long story short, it will be an ambush on a slaver caravan travelling the Kabrin Road north of Syliras. It will be under the orders of his shadowy employers. He's already getting paid for it, since he's on retainer, and I could have him do it with a bunch of NPCs... but then I thought, where's the fun in that?

Meaning, I'd like to see about getting together three, maybe four other PCs who'd be interested in joining him. He/I/We can negotiate payment for you, and there'll be plenty of loot to take off the bodies, naturally.

Now, a few important points:

Firstly, no slow posters. Yeah, hardly a polite point to begin on, but I don't want this thing dragged out for months, and that can easily happen with multiple writers. If you can't post at least once a week, ideally once every two or three days, don't bother, because if you're a ghost for more than seven days, we'll just write you out and keep rolling.

Secondly, since the attack will be... sort of a grey area, regarding the law (i.e. the Sylirian Knights), any squires or knights joining will need to bear that in mind. Considering their hatred of slavers, I don't prophesize much trouble with them, but you never know... *glares suspiciously at Accolade*

Thirdly, I do intend to throw some curves in here, so there's a real risk of death and dismemberment. You've been warned.

Aside from that, it'll be all fun and slaughter, just like mama used to make, and you should PM me with any further questions. I'll be kicking this off within the first week of June, hopefully (got a new job, so may be squirrelly), centered around the Fighter's Pit and the Spinning Coin.

Humans beware! A new Dhani is lurking in the Cobalt Mountains/Bronze Woods area, and he has an insatiable appetite. No hard feelings, of course. Anyone wanting to poke him with a stick and agitate him into combat, feel free. Test your metal! Especially rambunctious Squires hoping to slay a "monster". Come swing your silly little swords, or even try to make friends. He's not really evil after all. Just thinks of you all as food, kind of like a herd of cattle. Can't come into the city yet since Kayelin (my other PC) is taking up that spot. So go have fun out in nature and watch your steps. Listen for that telltale rattle or any unusual hissing.

Nevermind, I lied. Turns out I can't have Kayelin and Khrassvallen as close at they are, even if its one in the wilderness and one in the city. Khrassvallen is going to Zeltiva instead, I guess! Sooner than planned. Herp derp, so much for that. You're just stuck with Kayelin for now again. Well, ain't this embarrassing? Sorry Kyra. Kitty and snake will play later. And my lovely Sigrun!

Greetings Syliras!

So I tied loose ends in Alvadas, and Artur will now be in Syliras! He arrives and gets off the boat on the 20th this season, so there's plenty of open days to share a thread with! I'm thinking I'll make hid arrival thread open for whoever decides to jump in, and would like to show him the city a bit. If you have any idea's for a thread pm me! I definitely would enjoy the opportunity to write with all you good people.
