Reign Hair: Light Brown Eyes: Brown Age: 19 (494AV, Summer 58th) Current City: Zelvita Height- 5’3 Weight- 120 lbs Language: Fluent: Common Backstory The “ugly duckling” of the family, Reign grew up in the shadow of her older sister’s light. She was shunned and loathed by her mother, a wealthy and respected woman, whom believed a young girl’s success was to be based on their looks. While her sister was showered with attention and praise, Reign locked herself away for days at a time in her chamber and studied the notes her deceased older brother had taken while he was a student. Reign’s father loved her but was often too overcome with his son’s death to give his youngest daughter the affection she deserved. When she was 15 her mother arranged Reign her to wed a rich, young man named Jair. In horror she planned to elope with her true love Daryl, the fiery stable hand. Although, also craving the approval of her mother she abandoned him at the last second, accepting the love of her fiancé. Still in love with Reign, Daryl broke into her wedding to confess his love one last time before plunging a dagger into his chest. Realizing that his almost wife had been untrue to him, Jair left her in an emotional fury, hanging himself in the stable. Heart shattered, alone and forced to sit through her mother’s belittlement of her, Reign’s mind began to snap. That night, and still in her wedding dress, Reign strangled her mother and sister in their sleep, tossing the bodies out of the window. Ready to commit suicide, in order to join Daryl, she ran to the stable only to find Jair’s dead body hanging in the entrance. In a fit of hallucinations the corpse jeered at her, and called her “wife.” Her father found her unconscious in the hay, the next morning, only to realize that his daughter had also murdered his wife and other child. Fearing his daughter’s new found madness he swears to never breathe a word to anyone about the deaths she caused. Vowing to master her mother’s art, Reign spent her nights seducing drunken young men in local taverns and slitting their throats as they slept. Soon, her father fell ill from her abuses. Without proper treatment Reign’s father died a horrible and gruesome death. The final stroke in Reign’s transformation. In honor of Daryl she seduced another stable boy to murder the doctor’s daughter as well as burn down her house. Penniless Reign fled in the night, stowing away in a boat for her escape from Zelvita. Taking up keep in Ravok, Reign hustled for her living for the next year, pickpocketing and selling her body. Disgusted with herself, hallucinations of Daryl and Jair intensified. One day, while trying to find "work" in a bar Reign stumbled across a lone mixed blood (Daniel)that was clearly suffering from mental illness as well. Witnessing his size Reign decided that he would prove useful to her someday and flung herself upon the boy, claiming to be his long lost sister. Innocent and craving companionship it took almost no convincing on her part for him to join her; acting almost as an assistant to her. On her 18th birthday she decided to travel back to Zelvita, hoping to come to grips with her guilt and raise as much hell as possible before she bites the dust. Traits Holding an intense loathing and grudge against humankind; as a result she seems more willing to speak with others that are not of her race. Reign shuns personal interaction with others. She has a minor case of schizophrenia and hallucinates often. Due to her social rejection of living creatures, she has picked up the habit of speaking to inanimate objects. She is small and somewhat frail, as a result one good aimed punch could very well knock her unconscious. Suicidal she cares very little about her own life and will often toss herself into dangerous situations. The mad side of her doesn't often dominates but the times where she shows her old wisdom or judgement has been dwindling. She has a young face and as a result appears much younger than she truly is. Recently she has forged an addiction to any drugs she can get her hands.

Family and Relationships Marx: The only member of her family that she dares to name, is her older brother Marx. He was a brilliant, although sickly student whom passed away from a serious fever while studying in Zelvita Her Father: She hasn’t spoken his name since his death. He was a talented puppeteer that was quite popular with the children. He inherited his fortune from a merchant father. Daryl- The fiery stable hand whom Reign originally planned on eloping with; though once she realized she’d rather gain the approval of her mother she abandoned him. He stabbed himself in the chest in the midst of Reign’s wedding. In contrast with Jair he is very handsome but extremely shallow. Physical Description- Height: 5'11 Weight: 158 lbs Hair Color: Blonde Jair- A rich young man, whom was to marry Reign. Once discovering she had been unfaithful to him he hung himself in the stable. (The place where Daryl likely seduced Reign.) Reign describes him as having an "unfortunate" face; and being very pale. He was completely devoted to his fiance though and won her heart by simply treating her like a queen. Physical Description- Height: 5'7 Weight: 140 lbs Hair Color: Black Daniel- A half human, half isuran whom Reign stumbled upon in a bar. He believes her to be his long lost sister.
