It was outstanding. Something beyond anyone could have imagined yet it felt haunting, extraordinary to say the least, to be in such place, completely away from the clangorous cries of crowds and the busy streets of the ever populous city. The journey starts here, the starting point of a girl bringing honor to the one she should, forming the smallest legion of comrades and protecting the ones who should really be protected. The path is often bent, crooked in many ways but her motives are as straightforward as her foolishness. The only question is, is there truly a finish line?

OOC: just to brighten up the mood
Perpetual streams of water rushed down, cascading towards the river, meeting the silent ripples of their gleeful playmates and awaiting for the arrival of the rest of their company. The thousand feet drop of the towering cliff was an unforgettable admiration, taking a decent glimpse below felt like being prompted by a flight on the high skies, yet the height alone, was an unbearable fright which shivered a distant feeling slightly relevant to the fears of falling down and letting death take its toll. The moderate breeze wafted its warm presence throughout the vicinity, arousing the meek and fragile trees as well as plants brimmed with ecstasy to dance on its parade, it also did its business: conveying with nature's hindsight and giving a dear reminder on the end of Spring;s reign. Forest Birds fluttered their scrawny wings, taking flight in the midst of trees, probing their advocates and harmonizing their contrasting melodies to cruise the unwanted silence with their rhythm. The scene altogether was astonishing for one's eyes to meet and bewildering for one's thoughts to conceit. Some might even desire to reside on the place, it was a flavorful taste for a befitting relaxation out in the wilderness; perfectly far from the stresses a person's mind might suffer from and especially a perfect place to collect one's self and take a picture from a non-existent mirror.
It was an hour before time devours everything in and spew them out at mid-day. A petite, young-looking girl stood beside the aegis of a poplar tree. A dagger was wielded and it's hilt gripped by her right hand, constantly stabbing the tree's trunk in an unknown achievement. Training for the day's worth was something the girl planned out, perhaps it was something her foolishness devised just to deviate from the crowd and be one with herself with silence as a companion. For a moment, she stepped back, panting abruptly and tried to catch the breaths she lost. The girl turned her head over, taking a concentrated gaze towards the towering cliff that embowered the exquisite sight of the waterfall, the sound of the river's roaring streams drifted her uneasiness away from her mind, giving way to a collected and soothing mood. The moderate breeze found its presence wafting in her zone, attempting to unclog the possible distractions. The girl's eyes went to a close, collecting unperceived energies nature bestowed, and gradually gathered her strength. After contentedness filled her, eyes brought to an open, quirking a smile filled with sheer determination---determination to hopefully achieve what she planned for the day. The girl took a sharp glance at the tree after recoil, she did a stance, slanting her light body against her spine and her right hand, strengthening its grip while the other served as a wall that pillared the expected force that'll repel her to the ground. She breathed in an inhale then exhaled out with the filmy mist that brought an invasion. With a bit of time spared for preparation, feet swiveled sideways, mashing the coarse earth below and broke into a breakneck sprint towards the tree. While she barreled and aimed her dagger on the tree's trunk, thoughts encompassed her like a piece of paper blown by the wind and slapped her face. It was her goals, right at the moment when it was a clear visage of her, stepping both of her feet on the finish line that was very distant. It became a great distraction and at the same time, strange but she shivered it off anyway though her concentration was lost at a flick of a stone.
It was a failure for an attempt where she gathered a decent amount of her strength. The momentum of her charge was eventually jostled by the tree's standing force, though the dagger did gave a compelling stab that left a grind on it's trunk, but her strength wasn't good enough, not after her thoughts distracted her. She fell to the ground, hitting her back hard enough for her thoughts to distinguish pain, her spine being the first part to perceive the anguish. The girl groaned, then cursed at the winds. She released the dagger from her clutches, considering it had harrowed her luck enough for a day.
As the pain gradually subsided, her eyes stared slyly up at the sky, retrospecting back to the thoughts that gave immediate distractions. Her frustrations broke into a series of chortles then slowly gathered herself to stand both on her feet. The dagger was pulled out from the ground placing it back in it's leather sheath. After bringing her posture about and stroking off the excess dirt on her clothes, She turned her head up, back towards the unlimited sky.
"Oh Larry, Whatever have I done to make Rak'keli push me down to the ground?. Heh" Daelerria al'Theyian smiled gleefully thus casting herself forward to travel along the place, prospecting something without intent.
