The Bronze Woods, 14th of Bell, 11th of Summer 513 A.V

Two translucent little girl, one a lot taller than the other, could be seen standing in the middle of a particular clearing in the Bronze Woods. The clearing near the tree where the taller girl made her home. "Soooooo, Big Sis! I hold it like... this, right?" The smaller girl, clad in a black gothic lolita dress questioned the taller girl; in her hand, she was holding an ornamental dagger, not sharp enough to actually cut something; perfect for a training weapon.

"Yes, Rena~ Now remember to focus your tendril or it would drop~" The older sister named Kouri instructed her younger sister on how to manipulate her soulmist. Rena wasn't strong enough to actually shot a tendril to grab things, she could only do so within the confines of her arm. Rena looked to her sister and couldn't help but be awed at the beautiful quad chakrams surrounding her translucent form. "When can I be as strong as you, Sis?

"Oh~" Kouri spun all four of her chakarms around her on their own axis, they sang through the air like deadly metallic bees. "Keep training and you will catch up, Rena~" Kouri wanted for her sister to be as strong as she was and perhaps, hardened her innocence a bit. Rena was too pure and naive for this harsh world, Kouri would nurture her until she was comfortable with taking the lives of evil people; but not now. Rena's current psyche was far too delicate to witness the act of killing, she would break down.

"I shall begin then, Sis! Ei~ Ei~ Hya~" Rena started to spun around and made various slashing and thrusting motions with her dagger, she looked a bit clumsy but was far better and balanced compared to normal humans at the same level of skill; she didn't have to worry about a certain annoying thing named 'gravity' after all so body balance issues are out of the question.

"Good, Rena, keep it up!" Kouri watched in satisfaction as her sister continued practicing. I should practice as well... Kouri blinked away to some distance from Rena, her four chakrams immediately followed and then she closed her eyes. "Fuh..." She exhaled an unneeded breath, snapped open her eyes, and extended both of her hands to the side. All of her chakrams then flew through the air, darting here and there in complex trajectories and cutting the tall grasses around her.

Kouri then looked upwards and launched two of the chakrams to cut some of the small tree branches, she then bowed elegantly with leaves falling around her; the launched chakrams immediately flew back and took their position around their master. She looked like a ghostly version of a ballerina. This was going to be a good day, would it?

Run. Run. Run.

This was all Kise could do. The bottom line was: Not all training in the wild was safe. Hell, no training here was safe, but today it just got a bit more dangerous. Here was the situation. Kise had been bow training for a while now, complete unarmed with just a crossbow, a novice weapon to him. He had been sent here on his own free will, because everybody knew that the forest was a nice place to train, however the bronze woods was not one. Deadly as it was humid, these woods had been the vain of Kise's existence, yet somehow he always came back for more. Why? Because for some reason he always learned something here, he got stronger, he got smarter, he got better as a knight. So even if it was dangerous, it wasn't reckless, and it was his duty as a knight to become stronger. Even though he wasn't a knight yet, he felt like he was... Somehow K's dream became his dream.

As time continued on, Kise found himself hunting, although he was limited on supplies. He had a heavy crossbow, five sharp whistling arrows, and a whole lot of time. Of course these were borrowed from the knights for the day, but he made sure to care for them as his own, as any good squire should. He had been training for a while, shooting the occasional bow at a tree, retrieving it shortly afterword from the floor. He attempted to shoot many things, but hadn't made a hit all day, one would never be able to understand how bad he sucked. It got to the point where he began going  crazy, he was stalking your average forest animals, and attempted to shoot them. They all got away, they all ran off, and he would always retrieved the missed shot. There was one that didn't run however, it wanted to stand it's ground and show him exactly who was the boss. This was indeed a bear. A big brown bear, simple yet strong, and it honestly was pissed. He had crept up on it, and shot it, for once he didn't miss. Of course this was a huge target, so missing was almost impossible. The bear had quickly rose, growled, and began chasing him. Of course... This was the short version of the story.

Now he was on the run, running for his life, in this dangerous game of life. Out of spite, he wondered if this was right, should he run or fight? At this speed he would surely take flight. Out of the shadows and into the light, the bear was quick, it kept him in sight. He ran as fast as he could, dippin lg here under that branch, turning past that tree, it was already tiresome. With the heavy crossbow on his back, he began to slow down, his body complaining at the aches. Looking at things from the bears point of view, sure he was in the wrong, but would the penalty really be death?! He was done, tired as hell, and overall exhausted. And he decided it would either be him or this bear, and he already knew the victor! Turning around quickly he yelled out to the beast. "Bear! I'm sick of your shyke! If you wanna go let's go! Cuz' I'm not afraid of no-"

SMACK

Kise was instantly turned around as a huge paw slapped him across his cheek, his left side stinging, he was on the run once more. He had no chance of escape, and wouldn't see one for a while... Or would he?

But who possibly would be out here during this time.

Fubuki Kouri

Kouri slowly lifted her body and gazed at the sky. It felt so good... being able to control these tendrils. At first, she was quite annoyed that she couldn't control more than one and had to manipulate physical objects one by one. It had made simple, daily tasks and jobs such as gathering flowers harder than it should be as Kouri must put her basket down before picking the flowers.

But now, here she stood; four whirring chakrams revolving her like flying buzz-saws. She would be glad to take on any sword-wielding, martial artist, or other close-quarter warriors. Heck, even if the opponent was an archer, she didn't have to worry much either. She could just blink to them and well, cut them up. In short, if the opponent did not possess some kind of magic, such as spiritism or projection, or miraculous abilities, it's unlikely they would survive.

Kouri looked back to her little sister still training with her dagger, no... more like she's playing with it. Ahaha~ Kouri giggled, she didn't mind though. She didn't really want Rena to actually got into a fight, Kouri would most likely be the one who does the fighting and told Rena to stay behind her or retreat using her blinking ability.

!? Kouri's eyes shot open as heard... footsteps, heavy footsteps. It was clear to her that something... big was running around her area and the footsteps got louder and louder with each passing second, something was heading here. "Rena!" Kouri quickly blinked to her sister, her chakrams following suit.

"Hm? What is it, Sis?" Rena stopped her training and looked up to her sister, who was suddenly beside her. "Oh! What's that sound?" Rena noticed it as well, the heavy footsteps of... something.

"Rena, something is heading here, go to our tree branch and hide there". Kouri had no idea on who or what was heading to the clearing, but she wouldn't take any chances. It could be a huge mage, spiritist, or anything really. She wanted Rena to be safe.

"B-but, w-what about you, Sis?" Rena was rather hesitant to leave her sister alone facing against... whatever it was.

"I'll be alright, you can trust me, okay Rena?" Kouri smiled confidently, filling Rena with assurance.

"Un..." Rena nodded, she knew her older sister could take care of herself. With a quick hug, Rena then flew upwards to the tall tree branch where Kouri's 'treasure hole' was located, bringing the ornamental dagger with her.

"Now then..." Kouri turned around to face the direction where the increasingly louder sounds was heard. She stationed all four of her chakrams above her shoulders, two on her right and two on her left; ready to face the incoming intruder.

"Is that..." From afar, she could see a humanoid figure being chased by something... something huge. "...a bear?" Kouri could see the brown-version of the white polar bears back in Avanthal. Oh no! That person needs help! Kouri quickly launched like an arrow to the direction of the figures. That bear was going to catch up with the man in a few moments and... who knows what would the bear do to him, tearing him limb from limb came to mind.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" Kouri exerted herself and flew faster, the man and the bear was now just a few feet from her. Her chakrams also spinning dangerously and followed their master by her sides. *Wooooosh!* She went through the man as if she was air, now she was located between the man and the bear.

In the few seconds before impact, Kouri materialized herself and extended both of her hands with her fingers out. And then.. *PSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHH!!!* The sound of dry ice freezing something could be heard. Kouri crashed her index fingers on both of her hands with the bear's eyes. Unlike a season ago, her materialized power was actually strong enough to actually damage the delicate tissue of the eyes. The bear's eyes was visibly pressed hard and its surfaces bending backwards towards its head at the freezing harmful touch.

"ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!" It screamed a roar full of suffering and pain. Its eyes were now broken beyond repair and it would be blind for the rest of its life, unless someone has the ability to regenerate them. It fell down and trashed around the ground, squirming in extreme pain.

Kouri didn't waste any chance and immediately commanded her daggers to butcher the bear. Three chakrams launched, cutting the bear's neck like buzz-saws and the final chakram separated itself into four individual steel daggers. "Die..." Kouri then forcefully inserted the daggers into the bear's mouth. Blood immediately flow from its mouth as the daggers cut through its mouth and throat. Spurts of crimson flew everywhere as the bear was cut both from the outside and inside.

Kouri them commanded the daggers inside the bear's throat to trashed around, ravaging everything they could cut. The bear's jugulars were broken apart from the inside and its neck were only connected just because of its spine now. And for the final strike, Kouri shaped all of her chakrams like metallic claws and... *SNAP!!!* bring them all down the bear's spine. Cutting its head loose from its body. Fountains of blood and fat spurted everywhere and some of them got on Kouri's body and clothes as she was materialized.

"Phew... phew..." Kouri unmaterialized herself and brought her chakrams back at her side, they were glistening red with fresh blood. The bits of flesh and gore sticking to Kouri immediately dropped down to the ground as they phased through her unmaterialized state.

"Are you alri-...." Kouri turned around to examine the man chased by the bear and found out that it was... him. Sir Kisetukai, the person she hated so much and wished to butcher and left his bloody corpse to be eaten by the wolves. Kouri couldn't believe it, she had just saved this petching bastard... again.

But strangely, after all that's happened, Kouri didn't feel like butchering him immediately. Maybe it was Rena's innocence getting to her. ".........." She just merely stared at Kise and waited for him to response.

Meanwhile back in the tree, Rena was could only watched in awe and fear at the same time. Her sister just brutally butchered an animal. "U...uuu..." The only things that kept her from running away were her devotion to Kouri and the purpose of the slaughter. Kouri did it to save a human, it was acceptable for Rena; but couldn't she do it without any extreme violence? Rena slowly put the ornamental dagger back to Kouri's hole and flew to their location.

Kise wasn't going to make it, he wasn't going to escape this vicious beast, and this would be his resting place. If you could call a mauling and being dined on a resting place, then yeah sure. He found himself stumbling, his turns began to come slow, until he gave up. He had more energy, he didn't feel like it anymore, running just wasn't for him. He tripped and collapsed, his body fell forward, slapping the ground. Although for the moment he was in the air, his body gliding down, he felt and heard something. He felt wind, cool gentle yet icy wind, it was brief but it cooled him off. He also heard the wind whisper, a soft cry of air as it blew past him, it was actually graceful. He finally hit the ground, eyes closed, hopes gone. He just passed it off as what happened when you were close to dying, perhaps everyone went through this, or so he thought. He laid face down, waiting for a claw to put him out of his misery, but it never came. Instead he heard a yell, followed by a bunch of battle cries, beast and child.

Flipping over, his left leg extended but his right bent. His elbows held him up to see what was going on. And what he saw, blew. His. Mind. It was a woman, more like a instincts knight, defending him. Hair flowing and gracing the back, she was actually prepared to face the beast, and Kise couldn't stop her. A thick aura of confidence holding him down, seemed like she was the victor before the match began. Kise was too scared to say anything, too scared to admit how that all felt, it was crazy. Then it got bloody, gory, and just overall not for kids. Kise watched as she hacked and sawed, and instantly noticed something. She wasn't holding those damn daggers. After a few moments her ego shortened to regular size, he noticed the outfit and skill tone, and he guessed who it was instantly. Her. Fubuki Kouri. "Oh dear gods..." He mumbled as he thought of getting up and running. He wasn't afraid of Kouri but ever since her corruption, he didn't want to meet, not like this. He was unarmed, besides this stupid heavy crossbow on his back, he was deemed useless. No gaunlets, no scythe... He was unarmed.

Then she finished, after a bloody combo, it was finally over. Kise watched it all, shocked and mortified at the gore, she was relentless. It was brutal and uncalled for, it was deathly, it was just horrible. Then it happened. She turned around, of course she would, to greet the defended one of fame. And her face told it all, she hated him. It was a look of shock in it's purest state. Something that Shin fed off of... But she couldn't know that, he wouldn't let her.

"Mmm... K you still wanna stick it to her? I can make it happen..." Shin said, starting a convo with K, although he got no answer. He decided to stop it there, apparently K didn't like his joke anymore, or not now at least.

Kise just looked at Kouri, his eyes wide a bright, he looked at her with dull brown. Slowly he rose to his feet, still holding eye contact with her the whole time, he was dead on the inside. He couldn't say a word, he just stared into her eyes... They were captivating at the moment. He couldn't tell what he was thinking or feeling... But it wasn't good for him. He slowly took a step back, and then opened his mouth gently to speak softly, never leaving contact. "Fu... Buki... Kouri... Excuse me..." He said as he turned his body, he attempted to turn around but stoppe out ninety degrees. He stared at another girl, obviously a ghost, just like Kouri. He didn't have the time, nor the patience to learn about her... Not now. Not with Kouri like this. She literally was a monster. And he didn't want to anger her, well not now that he was unarmed. "I... " Letting out a sharp quick sigh, he turned and continued walking. He would walk continuously till he reached the clearing Kouri came from, trying his hardest to power walk, his heavy bow on his back slowing him down. It was crazy to think of him actually meeting her again... Worse that she saved him. He would continue walking, unless stopped, for his aim was to get home.

Why was his life so petched up...

Fubuki Kouri

"........." Kouri just kept staring at Kise, locking her crimson with his brown eyes. If she wanted, she could done the same thing to Kise what she just did to the bear; but for some reason... the need wasn't as strong as it used to be. Kouri had been so consumed in her hatred to this particular squire that she actually had been plotting to murder him if he should ever ventured to the Wood and here he was, right in front of her and ripe for the picking. Yet... there was something holding her back.

"Sis!"

Ah that voice... the sweet innocent sound of her little sister's voice. Kouri looked pass Kise and saw Rena floating to her, her face visibly worried and concerned. Rena... Kouri couldn't help but feel conflicted when Rena finally reached and hugged her. "Sis, are you alright?" Rena asked, she knew Kouri was quite alright but she wanted to make sure.

"Yes..." Kouri whispered to her little sister and ruffled her hair. Seeing her little sister then to Kise, Kouri strangely felt a tinge of pity build within her. The squire looked so... shocked, so fearful, and Kouri could't sense the arrogance that radiated from him like when they last met. Did something happened to him? Kouri was conflicted between murdering him or talking to him.

"Sis... who is that man?"

The dreaded question came, Rena would of course asked the identity of the person she just saved. It was very much obvious. "........" For a moment, Kouri couldn't answer the question; answering that this was the man she wanted to murder was out of the question, Rena wasn't ready for that... yet.

"He's...." Kouri hesitated for a moment then heaved a long exasperated sigh. "...Sir Kisetukai, a squire"

"Oh! Is he your friend, Sis?" Rena beamed her sister a happy grin and asked the question in her every so innocent tone.

"........................................"

"S...is?"

"Yes... Rena, he's my... friend" Kouri couldn't believe it. She truly didn't believe it, what influence did her sister put into her? If this keeps up, Kouri wouldn't have much grudge left to take her vengeance.

"Yay! I wanna talk to him!" Rena detached herself from Kouri and quickly floated to the walking squire.

"Re-..." Befor Kouri could stop her, Rena was already materializing herself and tugged at Kise's cloak.

"Sir Kisetukai? Hehehe~ Nice to meet you! I'm Rena! Big sis' little sister!" She then tilted her head upwards to look at him in the eyes, her violet eyes brimming with innocence.

".........." Kouri just stood there, dumbfounded. Rena was going to do it again, bringing peace to the people she dislike. First was Madame Isolde... it worked really well, but now... would she succeed?

Yank.

Kise felt a tug to his cloak, instantly stopping as the thin light chain hugged his neck, he was confused at first. Turning his attention, he noticed exactly who it was, the younger one. The thick aura chilling him down, it was the other ghost, Kouri's new companion. He looked at her, his dull brown clashing with her oddly colored purple. As she heard him speak, he was rocked, he couldn't believe what he was hearing. Fubuki... Had somehow acquired another ghost for her forces. Although this one seemed to know nothing of him, he was angry at the thought, he was angry at the corrupted ghost bringing down another with him. And to be honest, if he had his gaunlets, he might've spoke his mind. But there was no need to fight, not like this, not unarmed and defenseless. The way the younger one stared at him, it reminded him of Akilia, it really did. He admired her innocence and wish he could've went back to it, to the time where he was pure and free, where he could remember no crimes.

"Rena..." He said softly, taking a moment to take it all in, this girl... She thought her and Kouri were sisters. Hell that would actually be understandable to someone who didn't know Kouri, oh how he wished he didn't know her... He wished he had never met the ghost of the woods. He wished he had never been out that unfortunate night, if only he would've stayed home... If only. Snapping back to reality, he looked the girl dead in the eyes, before snapping his head forward. Looking down a bit, his voice stern and serious, he didn't want to get involved. He didn't want to get to know Rena, nor did he want to be around Kouri... He was disgusted by her. "Miss Rena... I am pleased to meet you... However, I as myself... Am no one. Please, leave me be..." He said softly as he continued walking once more, his body lounging as he strolled with a serious walk. It was that of a disgraced warrior, his voice was weak as if about to cry, he didn't want this. He didn't like this.

He wasn't worthy of the title of Ser... Never would he be...

Fubuki Kouri

"Wait! Don't go..." Rena didn't let go of Kise's cloak, but her strength was far weaker than Kouri; Kise could drag her around with little effort if he wanted to. "Nobody is no one~ Everybody have a place in this world and especially since you're a squire, you must be an honorable person..." Rena spoke from the deepest of her heart. She was really a true little girl still believing in the tale of dashing saviors and knights in shining armor.

"................" Kouri couldn't believe what Rena was saying. The word 'Kise' and 'Honorable' was like oil to water, the two could never mix. If someone was honorable, it was definitely not Kise. Kouri heaved a sigh, she realized that when she was alive; she was very much like Rena. Innocent, cheerful, idealistic, and seemed to believe everything could be solved in a heroic manner. That everything was going to be alright as long as you did the right thing.

Kouri's beliefs were stomped, skewered, crushed, and all around destroyed by all the things that happened to her. The tiger's attack, her parent's death, the meeting with Cyrus, the hypnosis by Maduro, and finally... the attempted rape by K. Kouri was not a little girl anymore, she was a forcefully matured soul in a little girl's body. But Rena... she's still pure, she was still... a true child. Kouri didn't want her little sister to went through the same thing as she did, if she would have to feign hospitality for Rena's sake; she would do it.

"Wait..." Kouri finally spoke, she then floated forward to Rena and Kise's location, her bloodstained chakrams in tow. "My sister wants to talk to you..." Kouri definitely struggled to speak those words. If Rena wasn't here... she would utterly butcher him until there even his mother couldn't recognize his corpse.

What could he do to fight back? Punch her with his gauntles? Kouri would really like to see him try. Today, there was no Madame Azcadelia to help him with her magic. Heck, with Kouri's current power; Kouri wouldn't have to wait for him to reach her, she could butcher him even before he could prepare to charge.

But Rena was here today... and perhaps, her little sister could really change her views on this bastard after all. Those combined with the fact that Kouri noticed someting was definitely different from Kise today... He was much more submissive than usual and his tone was kind of... fearful. Was he aware that Kouri could make short work of him with her sixteen daggers or crush his eyes to make him go blind for the rest of his life? Perhaps it was so.

Kouri should be proud of that, proud of finally driving his pride to the ground; but strangely... she didn't feel it. She felt... that proving her superiority to this man was not really... satisfying. He was worthless in her eyes after all, proving something to someone you deemed worthless was empty. Rena seemed to like him though.

Fine, she would entertain her sister... but should the squire even show one hostile move or even hurt a single ethereal strand of Rena's hair, she would show him no mercy. Kouri then extended one more tendril and it wrapped around Kise's left arm, it tugged him with enough force to be noticeable. "Rena wants to be friends with you, please just talk to her".

Kise felt the little girl's tug, not wanting him to leave as her little voice rang, the chain on his cloak caressing his neck. She didn't want him to leave, she still believed in purity, and that the world was good. She wanted to be friends, she wanted to understand that the world was kind and stuff, she was exactly how the world should be. Kind, pure, honest, caring, and whole hearted... It was amazing. She was how Kouri should've been. He continued walking nonetheless, his body yanking forward with every step, he still wanted nothing to do with the two. She thought of the boy as honorable, and that to him was foolish, for she knew nothing of him. He stopped and looked down into the ground, his body numb from thoughts. "Honor is not what I possess... I fight with honor yes... But in my name... There is none. I hope to have my name die with me, hopefully. So please... Once again let me be..." Kise began walking again, his body putting more emphasis on the steps, this was becoming annoying.

"Wait..." A shaky familiar voice said, the hesitation oh so evident, Kise didn't even bother to turn around. Apparently Kouri had decided to step up... She must've grew some balls.

Also it seems they were serious on this whole sister thing, guess it was kinda cute, but right now... Nothing wasn't serious. Everything had meaning and consequence, especially this situation, it all mattered how Kise would react. His body still in the motion of walking forwards, he felt Fubuki's cool presence grace him from behind. After a small bit, he felt something on his arm, Kouri's infamous tendrils. He had never actually gotten used to the damn things, and to be honest, they gave him the creeps. The thoughts of all that ghostly stuff gave him the creeps, from time to time, but Kouri wasn't even like a ghost anymore. She was just like your ordinary girl bent out on revenge and killing him, possibly murdering him senseless... Or was it?... Either way she wanted his blood. Her little tendril tugged his arm, his muscle instantly flexing as his fist squeezed, no doubt he could've attempted something. He stopped moving, his fists still balled up, he was angry. It wasn't an anger like a stubborn bull, or angry for a fight, it was anger because they wouldn't let him leave... They wouldn't let him go on his way... His mouth opened for speech as he looked at the ground, his chest broad on display, he had something to say. "..." She beat him to the punch, delivering a sweet melody of words.

"Rena wants to be friends with you, please just talk to her".

Instantly, his eyes went blank and emotionless, as he remembered that night. That night inside of his mind world, with his brothers, and with her. That night where he first heard her say please... Of course she was pleading for help the first time. But it was so gentle, so unique, and so helpless... Although now she didn't need help, she still sounded like the younger Kouri, the one he met on that fateful night. He fell in love with the little girl sort of, although he didn't want to admit it, he hoped she could find happiness. He had put on the whole tough guy front so K wouldn't yell at him... But it was all in vain. Kouri had went over to the dark side, and he was surprised she wasn't already working for Rhysol himself, after all it seemed to be what she was all about. She murdered everyday... She killed everyday... And she was crazy. Every. Day. "Kouri.... Miss Fubuki I..." He wasn't comfortable with calling her Kouri, for they didn't know each other anymore, they weren't friends like that anymore. "I can't do this, please just let me go. I wish nothing more than to return to my town... Please..." Kise said softly, his face now stained as a single tear ran down the right. He was sad, not filled with fear, but sorrow. He now knew what officially Kouri had become, she was a monster, and a shell of her old self. He gave up on her, and when he got home, he would report her to the knights.

"I'm sorry Miss Fubuki and Miss Rena, please just excuse me..." Kise then again started up walking, his body forcing his way forward, he really didn't want to be here. Not in this situation. Not with these people.

Honor is for those who deserve it. Simple as that.

oocOmg hey... Sorry Kise is being an ass and a drama queen.., it's emotional for him.

[Bronze Woods] Ethereal Heart to Corporeal Heart Chat (Kise)

Fubuki Kouri

OOCHahaha! Don't worry, I love Kise's dynamics.

Come to the dark side! We have cookies! :ninja:

When Kise stopped walking, Kouri released the tendril from his arm. She then approached even closer, taking her position beside Rena. Her chakrams silently watching their master just a few feet behind Kouri's shoulders.

Did he just call me 'Miss Fubuki' ? Kouri raised an eyebrow, she took it as a compliment. This man was getting polite and started to respect her perhaps. Kouri was brought up with strict etiquette and decorum lessons from her mother. Sora wanted her to be a noble proper lady so of course Kouri loved when someone acts gentlemanly. Kise calling her 'miss' was already a start.

And he said 'please'... This took Kouri aback, she didn't expect this idiot of a man could be courteous and polite. This was definitely a good development. Kouri could began to like this man again, but she still wouldn't let him go just yet. Not after Rena had been so hopeful in meeting a new friend.

He then... Is that a tear? seemed to cry and apologized to her, the man actually said 'sorry' while a tear ran down his right eye. "....." Kouri put her chakrams down, she was sure now that this Kise wouldn't even attempt to do anything hostile anymore. Kouri's expression softened as she took Rena's hand and they both floated beside Kise.

"I... understand, after I gave it some thought, I finally understood something... The one who was at fault that night was your brother, Sir Kise." Kouri tilted her head a bit upwards, gazing at the tree branches.

"I should have known that, I shouldn't have tried to go inside you. So, if you're Sir Kise and not the one who tried to... did that to me..." Kouri didn't want to actually say the word 'rape' because Rena was here. "I bear no grudges against you... just tell to your brother, both of them. That I haven't forgotten what they did to me and tell them I have saved their lives yet again, this time from a bear. I'm doing this because I know you're still a good person... the ones who are evil is your two brothers..."

"Eh?" Rena couldn't help but blinked in confusion, Sir Kise had a brother? If so, where is he right now? And what does Kouri mean by going inside Kise? Did she possessed him? So many questions rang in her head, but she decided to keep silent for now.

"Rena..." Kouri suddenly spoke to her sister.

"Yes, big sis?" Rena looked upwards to her sister, her face visibly trying to hold back the torrent of questions in her head.

"Can you go play over there first? I want to talk to Sir Kise..." As she said that, Kouri gestured to a location quite some distance away.

"B-but..." She didn't want to leave at first but seeing the serious look on Kouri's face, she relented and floated away to the place Kouri pointed her to.

Once Rena was out of earshot, Kouri vanished and appeared just a few feet away in front of Kise. Her crimson eyes then looked at him seriously. "I saved your life, twice. Sir Kise, I demand a favor from you... just think about this, do you realize that your brothers are destroying you? Did you realize that all the trouble you had gone through was mainly because of your brothers? the one named 'K' and that little bastard named Shin? I know you're not an arrogant stupid bastard, but your brother is" Kouri then inched closer to Kise, concern filled her voice.

Kouri had heard news from the local populace that a certain dark-skinned squire was going all high and mighty and beaten up by a Myrian. She met the Myrian just a few days ago, the Myrian named Razkar. Kouri figured that this... 'high-and-mighty' squire was not Kise, but one of his brothers.

"I see in your eyes that you're tired. You're wondering why all of this happens to you? The answer is... your brother. Get rid of him, Sir Kise. Get rid of him and your life will improve itself..." Kouri was serious, dead serious. She wanted to help Kise, she truly was.

[Bronze Woods] Ethereal Heart to Corporeal Heart Chat (Kise)

She had known. It wasn't his fault, it wasn't his fault that he was so corrupted, he didn't mean to do what he did, but he did. And for that he couldn't apologize. He couldn't cry, he couldn't whine that what he did wasn't his fault. Ever since that chat with Hadyn, although K was in control at the time, he had realized something important. No matter who was in control, it was still his fault, it was still his responsibility. When Shin threatened Shiress, when K bullied women who intimidated him, the only good brother was brother. Kise was a bit sick of it all, all this thoughts of who he was exactly made his head heat quickly, and Kouri just fueled the flames. Especially when she added to his workload, his mental workload, which was already full. She sent Rena away, saying she wanted to talk to him, this was it. It was time for his crimes to be read, it was time for his execution, it was time for his death.

But once again, he felt that breeze, it was proof that Fubuki was getting stronger. Such a thick aura, she was becoming a powerful ghost, but why? Why was a ghost training? A ghost was safe from everything. So why? The worst part was when she blinked in front of him, her little body disappearing was always a sight to behold, but this time he expected a dagger in the head. For if she was going to kill him, this was probably the best torture she could think of, breaking his mental fortitude from his out thoughts and deductions. She spoke to him in a serious tone, something you wouldn't expect from a child's body, but the voice grew more mature everyday. But the words she spoke, they were worse than mere daggers, flying past his defense right to his heart and mind. He thought about it, his head hurting more, it was an awful thing to think about itself. She spoke like K and Shin were pest, like they were evil, when they weren't. K had been trying to be a nicer person lately, and Shin wasn't evil, for if he was he would've been tasted blood. Overall he believed in his brothers, he believed in them that they were people, and they deserved better respect. But then she inched closer, until directly in front of him, and Kise found him turning his head to the right out of nervousness. "Kouri..." He mumbled, she began to go on again, further breaking his walls.

Except this time she was talking about that it wasn't his fault, he wasn't to blame, it was his brother's. Honestly could she really see it? The fatigue in his eyes and face? The way he didn't want to move sometimes due to chronic exhaustion, for he was always busy fixing and cleaning whatever mistake K made, now it was his chance. She wanted to get rid of him. She wanted to get Kise pure again, and actually become a regular guy. And then he began to ponder himself. The way she talked about his brothers... Were they disposable? Could they be ended with Fubuki's assistance? It was all too much to take in. And then he wondered... Who am I... Shin said I was the real person in control of this body, but that means that I have the most power right? And since I have been around the longest, or so I think, does that mean that... Instantly, he coughed up a bit of blood, as he overworked himself. He shouldn't have been thinking about all of that so much, because of the strain, and who was listening. "Kise... I advise you stop thinking like that... Go home and you won't hurt anymore. After all, we are a team right buddy? And don't for a moment go thinking your high and mighty, you saw that tear? That was me. Your still weak Kise, let your brothers handle it." Shin said with emphasis, K's laughter in the background.

Kise turned his face back to Kouri, so close that if he wanted to he could've leaned in and butted foreheads. "Miss Fubuki... You know nothing of me, nor the burden I carry, my brother's are nice guy. Please just stop, I can't just sit here and allow you to... Bad mouth them. There is no way for me to get rid of them, nor would I attempt to... I feel that I should agree with you, yes you have saved me, yes a favor sounds understandable. But I have done you a favor, I befriended your little sister... I have not been rude, nor unkind. So please once again, let me go and do not speak to me Fubuki Kouri, you will never understand." He let loose a wild sigh, breathed in and out heavily, and finally looking directly into her eyes. "I'm sorry I ran into you today.... I'll be leaving now. Please don't stop me anymore." He attempted to walk forward, his mind set, he was done once more. His goal was to faze through her, and not be restricted anymore. His mind was actually hard headed, and all he wanted was to keep his brothers, mainly K. K was all he had growing up, the only person who stuck with him all the way, helped him out with older kids. Two minds were definitely better than one, definitely.

Brothers till the end huh?
