Stretching northward along the coastline of the Suvan Sea, the Cobalt Mountains are the home of the Bronze Wood, numerous ruins, and creatures both strange and fantastical.

"W-woah! Sis! Slow down!" The little ghost girl Rena couldn't help but gawked at her ghostly elder sister, Kouri. She had to shout as loud buzzing sound of spinning metal was filling the area they were in.
Kouri was gathering some flowers in a rather... unorthodox way to be exact. Two tendrils that jutted out from her back were manipulating two chakrams, each made out of four identical daggers, making them whirring and spinning just a few feet in front of her. While spinning her twin chakrams on their own axis, she floated forward; cutting through the Windflower bed in front of her in a very efficient manner. She was like a mechanical lawnmower.
Flowers flew everywhere as they were swiftly and neatly cut by the spinning metal. Kouri manipulated another two tendrils to quickly capture almost every flower that flew upwards and putting them behind her, where Rena was waiting with a wicker flower basket. Kouri's multi-tasking quickly filled the flower basket to the brim in just a matter of chimes. "La~ La~ La~♪" And the translucent flower gatherer hummed a cheerful song along the way, but her voice was somewhat drowned by the buzzing sound of her whirring chakrams.
"Sis! Siiiiiiiiis!" Rena blinked to directly beside Kouri's right ear and shouted to her ear in an attempt to break her from her workaholic trance.
"Oh?" Kouri noticed her little sister's presence and voice, she stopped her chakrams for the moment and beamed Rena a gentle smile. "What is it, Rena?" Two of her tendrils never stopped working collecting the Windflowers though.
"Uhm... we're running out of baskets..." Rena timidly spoke and gestured to behind Kouri.
"Eh?" Kouri tilted her head in surprise and turned around to see... four wicker flower basket filled to the brim with Windflowers. Three of them was almost too full to be carried around without any of the flowers dropping. "Ehehe~ Sorry, Rena... I didn't notice that..." She had tasked Rena to switch the location of the baskets once a particular basket was full with an empty basket, but she forgot that they only brought four baskets with them.
"I think we're done here, right, Sis? Will you return to Madame Atta and deliver the flowers?" Rena heaved a sigh of relief, sometimes her older sister was just too trigger-happy in playing around with her daggers. She only brought eight with her today... Kouri could bring sixteen at most with her current power level. Just imagining the whirring and buzzing sounds of four spinning dagger-chakrams made Rena shudder in fright.
"Yes, Rena! I think we're done. Let's go back to our tree, then I'll store my chakrams and then head back to Syliras to deliver the flowers" Kouri worked for Madame Atta Sabot, owner of the Flower Stand. She mainly acted as a flower gatherer thought she occasionally delivered flower bouquets and arrangements should Atta needed extra help.
"Let me just wrap this up!" Kouri combined her twin chakrams, forming a greater chakram comprised of eight daggers to make it easier to carry. Four tendrils then traveled to all four of her flower baskets and each tendril picked up one basket. Some of the flowers fell down because three of the baskets were too full. Kouri didn't mind though. Bringing her greater chakram and baskets near her, Kouri flicked her hair and huffed a proud grunt. Praising herself for a job well-done. "Alright, I'm ready. Let's go back, Rena".
"Okay, Sis!" Rena took Kouri's left hand with her right and stayed close to her sister. The two ghostly sisters then floated away from the clearing. Eight daggers and four flower baskets in tow. |
