Name Liriah
Race Forsaken Ethaefal of Leth (Inarta)
Age 0 AV (Time of Fall)
Gender & Sex Female
Physical Description From 0-317 A.V.: During the Reign of the moon, Liriah is an elegant lady of 5”6, her almond shaped eyes the rich, velvet purple of dusk, veiled by long, Lavendar lashes. Long, Silver hair fading to Lavender at the tips, a legacy of her fall as Winter shifted into Spring, cascades down to her waist in gentle, feathery waves, parting above her violet stained obsidian horns as they sweep backwards, splitting into 6 prongs, above and behind her ears. Her side bangs spill over her shoulders and nestle between her modestly sized breasts, caressing her symmetrically oval, pale face on its descent and covering her delicately curved eyebrows. Thin Pink Lips harbor a full set of immaculate teeth, a small aquiline nose finishes off her facial features, and long, doll-like fingers, small hands and feet completes her illustration. Upon dawn, her horns disappear, her hair becomes a sunset orange, and eyes a molten gold, reflecting her past life as an Orika before her soul was taken from the cycle of reincarnation. Her elegant and soft beauty replaced by the harsh and fiery attraction of the Inarta. 327 A.V. -Present: After shifting with the cycle of seasons for a decade, Liriah decided to fall somewhere between a Faithful and a Forsaken, her reverence to Leth finally loosing its hold. Having lost faith, the shifting of seasons no longer held sway over her. Once again, her hair became frozen on the cusp of two seasons; Autumn and Winter. Her hair is now a Burnished-Orange, fading to silver tips, coated in a silver sheen. Her near translucent horns the color of Caramel, darkening and deepening to black near the scalp. Oddly, during Syna's rule, Liriah is more outgoing and friendly, her melancholia suppressed and usually masked. However, upon the rise of the moon, Liriah becomes shrouded in it.
Personality Her inability to refuse those in need of care and in distress makes her a favourite amongst targets for criminals. Despite numerous attempts on her life, and property, those who have entered her house intent on crime have always left a few days after, seeking out redemption and treading the path of honesty. Amongst those who traverse the mountains around Lhavit, Liriah is known for her generosity and charity, giving them her own supplies and shelter if requested, and her contrasting qualities of naivety and wisdom. Some may ask, what happens if someone makes her angry, but no one knows. There has been some disappearances around her area, though; loud explosions and maniacal laughter have been heard in the night on occasion. Rumours also suggest that she is an extreme klutz, those who have claimed to stay with her stating that she has tripped over her own furniture, even nonexistent objects on occasion, blushing furiously afterwards. That momentary relapse upon her characteristic air of melancholia is all but forgotten once you try her baking, ingredients freshly picked and harvested from her little garden, bought off, traded or gifted from a merchant travelling by, or harvested from the wild. Everything is strictly vegetarian, however, since blood and flesh poisons her if ingested, and any large doses of animal cells induce an instant reaction which varies from vomiting to fainting. Valuing others safety and welfare before her own, the forest animals, her constant companions, tend to chide her for being careless and worry for her health and safety, especially after that time where she fell off the mountain edge, only to be saved by a neighboring cougar. Believing that the world is painted in various shades of grey and that everything and the world itself has a story has caused her to clash with the occasional visitor when it comes to philosophy; the neighbouring wolves tend to stay close by when such visitors come along, just to make sure that she’s safe. Liriah likes nothing more than to have a cup of freshly brewed floral tisane whilst snacking on her freshly baked, pastries and delicacies, enjoying it with a companion or two. She also has an odd fascination with shining transparent objects, taking them home and adding them to her growing collection of shinies. Violence, blood, combat and injuries are most definitely in her list of dislikes. Destruction of nature and the overthrowing of balance are her archenemies, looked upon with sorrow, the unnecessary taking of life an act which she doesn’t agree with, but accepts as a fact of the world. Liriah doesn’t like to show skin, preferring to cover everything but her hand and face with some form of clothing.
Past One of the first to fall from Leth’s graces, Liriah could no longer bear to look at what she has lost, believing that it is her own shortcomings and fault that has condemned her to the mortal world once more. She awoke to see mountains rising and growing where there was once only gently rolling hills and a town known as Lhavit, the cries of those who once inhabited the area coalescing with the cracking and rumble of the land greeting her ears. While searching the ever growing mountains for a way to traverse their hazardous peaks, Liriah felt a large shadow passing over her and looked up to see a Wind Eagle passing overhead. Landing beside her for reasons unknown to her, Liriah took the opportunity to climb aboard its back, finding herself amidst the clouds a few seconds after and over the mountains in moments. Leaving her on her own to catch up with the group that was being lead by two of her fellow Ethaefal, Liriah ran to catch up, only to remember that she was no longer needed by the citizens, believing that she was inept to help the citizens on their journey to safety, she stayed at a distance, believing that she would only burden the group if she joined. As the Lhavitians discovered the fallen Zintila and created a new city to inhabit, Liriah stayed in the mountains, her occasional visit involving only trading and buying goods from the civilians. She stayed up their in her stone cottage, tending to the injured and distressed beasts, and nurturing the forest back to health and restoring the land where she could, doing what she could do, hoping that it would atone for her imaginary incompetence.
Present No longer distressed about her fall, Liriah now sees helping others as her duty. Whilst helping those who come across her cottage, Liriah has been regaining the memories of her most recent incarnation; the feel of the wind, an endless sky, sturdy yet delicate glasswork, the warmth of home, and an item of vague familiarity.
