Hunger (Tallis Ishtari)

She thought on it "By myself yes." She noticed the feel of his naked legs against hers "I see you've begun to embrace a certain freedom of the Kelvics." He seemed more than comfortable now being naked around her. That could just be that they had made love and now, as a young man, he'd expose himself to her almost all the time. Not that she really minded. She just hoped he would be able to handle her once winter came.

Outside, the storm nearly seemed to be ontop of them. It was loud and strikes of lightening that flashed brightly in the dark sky were very frequent.

Freedom of being Kelvic or not Tallis probably never hazard to guess which it was. The only thing he could be certain of was that it felt ‘right’ with her. Being emotionally tied to Marx was never planned on his part, it just happened, and being naked next to her felt like it was always supposed to be this way. Maybe he had Kelvic blood somewhere in his veins and his family did not know it. Probably not, but what was certain was he was in love and would do anything to keep it that way.

“I think…” He said hesitating. “Once we’ve gone to a warmer climate we should. I can only imagine what it would be like. And maybe swimming under a waterfall?” His head filled with possibilities of what could be and pushed any thoughts of their current problems aside. The residual negative thought was the mob and the deal he struck with the man he met at the Temple. And why could he not remember much more of it? Did Rhysol want him to remember only portions of it?

She looked into his hazel eyes, seeing something there. Her finger curled on his cheek "You seem to have a lot on your mind. Would you like to share?" A cloud of swirls and confusion was coming from him. She wondered what it could be. It hadn't been there when she left this morning and it with with a quick realization that from the shock of having a collar strapped round her neck and their first time making love that she had forgotten to ask "What happened to you today? Something seems.. wrong."

Hunger (Tallis Ishtari)

Postby Tallis Ishtari on June 9th, 2013, 1:23 pm

His brows lowered as he searched for where to begin. So much had happened when they separated for the day. And how much should he tell her without frightening her off? She had already had her own frightening experience and would he add to it? In those brief seconds he decided to tell her everything that he could remember. There were so many holes in his memory from the time when he had reached the temple.

“After we separated for the day I decided to have a quick drink.” He watched her eyes to see her thoughts on the subject of him going alone for a drink before he continued. “While I was there I saw the bag man. The man that was to deliver the money for the hit… You remember when I told you about Gilroy and his men, well this was the guy they were looking for. Well… when he saw me I could see in his eyes that he meant to kill me. I barely dodged him to get out of the tavern. The chase then spilled into the streets. He must not have known Ravok that well because I was able to lose him.”

He lay his head into the crook of her neck for a moment to gather his thoughts. “From there it gets strange. I went to the Temple like I said I was going to. I started making my way through the crowd of tourists when a tussle broke out between the Ebonstryfe guard and what turned out to be another pick-pocket. Because of it I wasn’t able to lift any wallets. I was so disappointed that I went into the Temple to search.”

“I remember getting closer to the inner worship chamber when a feeling came over me.” His eyes narrowed as if doing so would help his memory. “I felt sick. The air is normally cool but in an instant it was sticky and hot. I thought I would pass out but the feeling passed… and then I met this man. I couldn’t tell you his name… I don’t remember. From that point on my memory is gone. The man is just a nameless figure in my mind.”

She looked to him, hands holding his face. she sighed and kissed him. There was nothing they could do about it. They just needed to leave Ravok as soon as possible. She rubbed her face into his neck, kissing him there as well "Let's just stay away from those places and get out of Ravok quickly. We can go find other jobs until we get all the money we need." She wrapped her arms around him, pulling their skin flushed together. She didn't ever want to let his man go "We'll be safe. We just have to get out of here. I'm sorry Tallis."

Hunger (Tallis Ishtari)

Postby Tallis Ishtari on June 10th, 2013, 2:08 pm

They would be safe, and soon enough they would be out of the grasp of those that sought to control them and those that were bent on separating them. They had each other and that was all they needed. They would survive.

He pressed his lips to her head and took in a long comforting breath. “I think we should leave in a few weeks. We should have enough by then to at least put some distance between us and those chasing us.” After resting his head against hers he continued. “I’ll work in my father’s shop for that time and thieve when I’m not. That should bring enough coins for us and anything you bring in would get us even farther away.”

The last time he left Ravok he had someplace to go. He would not admit it to Marx, but he was a little apprehensive about leaving. This time he would leave and have no time scheme for his return. Only his hopes of a better life and his love for Marx would keep him motivated.

Marx curled into his arms, sighing. They would be away soon enough. Whatever and whoever was after them, they could just go. She wasn't running away. She was just waiting till it was the right time. What happened in the temple had concerned her greatly. What sort of source had the power to simply make him forget? It turned her stomach unpleasantly. She shook her head to get rid of the feeling. It was alright. They would get out of here soon enough. She didn't care how many jobs she had to do to help her and her bondmate leave. But they was getting out and fast. She kissed him "Please, just stay away from the temple. I don't like the feeling of it. I'll go out and get another job tomorrow, I'll try not to go too far away." She had been pretty far out today and after being so blind to what had happened to him, she had to stay more alert. Her bondmate was her world, the most precious thing to her and she had just left him, alone. She wouldn't do that again. Not ever.

Hunger (Tallis Ishtari)

Postby Tallis Ishtari on June 13th, 2013, 5:18 am

Placing a kiss on her head Tallis gave thought to all Marx had said. There really was not any need for him to go to the Temple. After all he had his own shrine in their apartment. “Alright, I’ll stay away from the Temple even though there is nothing to fear from it. Someday I’ll take you there and you can see for yourself. It’s a beautiful place, with wonderful architecture and mosaics. But honestly… there’s nothing to fear from going to the Temple.”

Tallis wished he could have sounded more convincing. Not only had he forgotten part of his memory but there was the moment when he felt nauseated and need the aid of the wall to keep him on his feet. He could not find any natural explanation as to what would have caused it. Only the touch from Rhysol himself might cause such a sickening feeling. But that explanation only brought other questions so it could not possibly be a touch from Rhysol.

There were a few more flashes of lightning off in the distance but it seemed that the light show was over all that was left was the cold rain. “I think tomorrow will be a better day, and you staying closer to the apartment will help. I hope I never see you outfitted in a steel collar again. The end of two weeks can’t come fast enough.” Tallis said in an effort to rid his mind of what happened to him in the Temple. “I can’t wait until it’s just the two of us on the road. When do you think I’ll be able to meet your parents during our adventure?”

She shrugged, still feeling very irked and ill by the mention of the Temple and his insistence to go "I'm not sure where Zeltiva is relative to here. I'll have to check the stars tomorrow night. I'm sure it won't be any trouble to stop by on our way out of Syliras. My uncle might even be of some great help to us." She looked to the ceiling "That is if you're really are willing and ready to deal with my mother. She really won't be pleased with you, or what we're doing. In fact, I'm sure she'll blame you, try to convince us not to go. Maybe she'll even hold me there, who knows. She's not a very nice woman, my mother. She loves me and looks out for my best interests, but she is really a big handful. I don't know how my father deals with her." Her fingers slid across his face, eyes getting droopy, voice prone to yawning "I'm not sure eve your charm will be enough. Hmmm, maybe we should just not go after all."

Hunger (Tallis Ishtari)

Postby Tallis Ishtari on June 13th, 2013, 10:51 pm

It seemed that both of their respective mothers could be difficult at times. He was almost certain that his mother would like Marxander if she even would give it half a try. It would not be easy. Only the intervention of his father could convince her to accept Marx. When it came down to it Marx would have to win her over. It would have to happen over time. How much time… that was the one question that remained unanswered.

Tallis inhaled deeply and released slowly. “What would happen if we just sent word to your parents? You know… say we plan on being in Zeltiva sometime in the future but not say exactly when. Then as we travel we send word on how we are progressing.” It was a crazy idea, and most likely it was due to fail. His hope was that if her mother kept hearing his name she would warm to the idea that he and Marx were a couple. “And I’ll do the same with my mother. Then maybe… they will ask to meet us.” Tallis turned his head to look for Marx’s answer. “Yeah, I know… It’s a stupid idea. Just forget I even suggested it.”
