[Avanthal OOC] Gaze at the Aurora

Hello my fellow Avanthal dwellers!

Our OOC thread had gone so quiet you can almost hear the sound of a needle dropping on the snow. Although I just came back from the land of the dead myself with all the hype going on in real life. But that's not the point, right? Liven up people, cheer cheer!

To help spread love, joy and joyness, I share with everyone rainbow goodies!

Well then, please excuse my desperate attempt at trying to start a conversation. *flutters away in the arctic winds*

...just kidding Spirit! But yum, that pumpkin pie looks delicious. I've never tasted it before, but I just might have to look for one now.

So for my favorite, I absolutely love Banoffee pie!

Banoffee pie is culture

We should have a pie recipe for Avanthal. You know, something that mothers try to make in those cold summer mornings?

Omg I want to be done with you guys but you're so additional with your little pies I just can!!!!!!! When I get home I'll talk to my grandma about pie recipes and then I'll chance things for avanthal things and see what I get. We already have I avanthal shirt why not a pie??

Yes, yes it is! Banana, toffee, and cream. Sometimes there's chocolate too. You must definitely try one out, braces or no! Although I know how much of a pain eating and brushing with braces can be...

Oh oh oh, there were discussions about Avanthal shirts going on some time ago. And ultimately, we've decided we want A-printed shirts. Jesslyn came and posted the photo here. We also have a cheer too. Ahem.

Winter Snap Bavarian Cream Pie
1 1/2 cups tapioca starch
8 tablespoons cold water
9 tablespoons white sugar
2 1/4 tablespoons cornstarch
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
3/4 cup vanilla ice cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 cups Winter Snap fruit, cooked and pureed
1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked

Directions
Soften tapioca starch in cold water. Scald the milk.
In a mixing bowl, mix together sugar and cornstarch. Add eggs and mix thoroughly. Add milk and softened gelatin, stirring constantly.
Cook custard in double boiler over hot water until it thickens and coats spoon. Remove from heat. Add ice cream while custard is hot. Cool thoroughly.
Cook and puree Winter Snap fruit, cool completely
Add vanilla & Winter Snap fruit. Stir to blend. Whip the cream, and fold 1 1/2 cups into cooled custard. Pour filling into pie shell, and Chill until set. Garnish with remaining whipped cream.

So my dear lovelies. ~~I am leaving Avanthal!~~ Nah just kidding!

Actually I wanted to ask if anyone is willing to do some plotting with me! So far for Summer I only have two threads going on and I would love to have more. Its already what... a month and some days into Summer?? Yeah... So Jesslyn is getting better and around the 50th is when things are looking up for the blind Vantha again!

One of the things I am trying to do is sell some paintings. I'm going to need the moola. I haven't talked with Noblesse yet but I think the amount of paintings she'll have finished will be 20 max.

Oh and I am also thinking about Jesslyn getting a side job but I want to see what I can get out of threads before I decide what she is good at. And I still have pretty much all of my Spring threads that need to be graded.

So I need your guys' help to get more skills for a later job and for my paintings to sell. I'll have a list of them on my CS sometime soon!
