Stretching northward along the coastline of the Suvan Sea, the Cobalt Mountains are the home of the Bronze Wood, numerous ruins, and creatures both strange and fantastical.

Bronze Woods, 8th of Bell, 13th of Summer 513 A.V
It was another lovely morning in the Cobalt Mountains, specifically in the ever so alluring Bronze Woods. The sun was shining with its morning light, piercing through the foliage of the forest; gracing its grassy floor with soft beam.
Unlike inside the Fortress City where the thick stone walls and ceilings refused the grace of Syna's embrace. The Woods accepted her shining presence with open arms. Birds cooing, deer foraging, bears searching for fishes, insects chirping, and other normal events in a seemingly normal forest.
Except... for one particular clearing where a little girl resides, the clearing with the tall tree was almost devoid of animal life due to the chilling haunting presence that dwelt within. "Hm hm hm hm~♪" A cheerful humming of a little girl echoed in the clearing, though if one listened closely; the tone had a eerie aura to it.
The translucent little girl with crimson red eyes named Kouri arrived at her clearing, four empty flower baskets in tow. She just came back from the Flower Stand, the place where she worked as a flower girl. Kouri was doing her usual job of gathering various flowers from Madame Atta.
Hmmm~ I wish Rena was here... Kouri's thoughts wandered to her beloved adoptive little sister. The even younger ghost girl was not in the mood for travelling in the wilderness today, she said she wanted to rest at their rented room at the Traveler's Row. Then again, Kouri noticed Rena was a calmer and quieter girl than herself; Rena was like the introvert to Kouri's extrovert. Oh well~ I'll visit her again when I'm done Kouri decided to finish her job quickly so she could play with her little sister sooner.
Once she had arrived at her tree, Kouri flew up to the high tree branch where her 'treasure hole' was located. She extended another thick tendril to the hole in the trunk and when it came out, her tendril was holding four daggers in a chakram-shaped formation. Alright! All set! Kouri would use her chakram as a lawnmower of sorts, cutting the flower stalks and then picking them up with her tendril to put them at her flower baskets.
"Ehehehehe~♪" With a cheerful giggle, the ghost girl floated back to the ground; stopping just a few inches from actually touching it. She then headed deeper into the forest, four flower baskets and a chakram in tow.
One Bell Later...
"Hm hm hm~♪" Kouri cut another bundle of marigold stalks from the flower bed in front of her with her chakram and a tendril grabbed the stalks before they fell to the forest floor then put them in a flower basket. One flower basket was almost full now. Three baskets to go~ Kouri cut another bundle and the basket was full. Her chakram took its position back at her right shoulder.
Alright... next flower on the list is... lavenders! Lovely~
OOCAlright! Feel free to make your entrance here, Vlad!
You can decide on whether to notice Kouri or not, if not, Kouri will notice you in my next reply. |

It’s was a nice warm day, maybe because of the summer season. The animals were frolicking and the sun’s golden rays shone upon life’s creations.
The Doctor, Vladimir, was on his way to the Bronze forest to do some field research. He wanted to further in rich his knowledge of plants in hope to improve his medical treatments. Vladimir had his normal attire on, a long black robe with his sleeves covering his hands, a black top hat that looks as if it had been sat on and a grey cloth sash that went from his shoulder to his hip. Vladimir carried his medical bag, a bag with one strap the fits snuggle on his back and is worn like his sash, going from his shoulder to his hip.
Vladimir reached the Bronze forest, stopping for a moment and spread his arms while open to soak up the warm beams of light. “Kah! The sun is so warm, a swollen wound! It’s truly the best! Keh hah hah hah!” Vladimir Bellowed out with enjoyment with a large grin on his face.
Vladimir wandered through the forest keeping his eyes peeled for familiar plants and unfamiliar plants. As he walked through the forest he spotted a clearing with long grass and at the centre he noticed a few small patches of flowers. He made his way to the flowers, leaving behind a trail of pushed over grass. When he reached a small patch of flowers, he crouched down to their level and began inspecting them. Right away Vladimir was able to tell that this patch of flowers is called ‘Feverfew’, the white petals and bright yellow centre gave their identity away. He knew that they were able to ease headache if they were infuse with water like tea. He also spotted Lavenders which is a great side remedy for headaches. Vladimir plucked few flowers and leaves and placed them in his medical bag, and moved on to the next patch of flowers.
“Feverfew, lavender and… rep poppies?” Vladimir said as he pointed at each flowers patch, stopping at the poppies and flower bulbs that surrounded it. Vladimir knew that it was a very important plant, but wasn’t sure what properties it had. He plucked one of the flower bulbs and examined it. He noticed that milky fluids leaked from the bulb. “Not too sure, but I think it’s a good find. I just can’t remember… Oh well! I’ll test it out later. Keh heh heh”
Vladimir was inspecting the flowers for a good bell or two and decided to move along. However, just was he left he noticed a girl walking his way. Vladimir hid behind a tree out of instinct; he wasn’t sure why he was hiding however. He viewed the girl as she made her way to the flower patch. The first thing he noticed is the blood that soaked her clothing. She looked as if she was injured but was still able to move. A fiendish smile grew upon Vladimir’s face as he left his tree and began closing in on the girl.
The girl with extremely long white hair was plucking flowers from the ground. However, a larger shadow loomed over her blocking out her sun. Vladimir was looking down on the girl with a large ghoulish grin on his face, looking at the girl with an eye that peered through his long bangs.
“Why hello there… White Angel. How are you doing this fine afternoon?” Vladimir said as he crouches down to her level and reffering her to her as ‘white angel’ because of the what she looked.
“Picking flowers? That shouldn’t be important at the moment… I couldn’t help but notice you damaged your delicate body. Keh heh heh” He said, pointing at her neck.
“Angels can’t fly without wings, but they can drop dead. Keh hah hah hah! But I wouldn’t want that you happen to you, right… White Angel?” he said as he chuckled at his own style of humour.
Due to Vladimir’s obsession, he was slightly blinded and wasn’t able to pick up subtle details such as her unnaturally red eyes and her weapon. |

"Hm hm h-...." Kouri's humming abruptly stopped when she noticed something... or someone was blocking out the sunlight as proven by the humanoid-shaped shadow looming over here. Her cheerful expression turned to caution, she had no clue on who or what was behind her right now.
Then she heard an adult male voice, The voice that was most likely directed at her. White Angel? Kouri couldn't help but notice the interesting name the owner of this voice was calling her. Kouri abruptly turned around, her hair billowing in the wind and found...
Wha? a... human of sorts, with clothing that would make assassins and dubious people in whole of Mizahar proud. Very pale long blonde hair graced his features, most notably are those long bangs and is that a braid?
How can... this man see? The first thing that came to Kouri's mind was the fact on how would this man be able to see? That bangs of his looked like some kind of blindfold. Oh yeah, he did ask me about how I was doing, right? Kouri relaxed, knowing the voice did not belong to some kind of monster.
"Well, I'm just fine, Sir... what about you?" The man was courteous and polite enough to approach a ghost like herself on his own. Usually, that could only mean two things, he did not realize Kouri was a ghost or he's not racist like most Sylirans. Kouri opted for the former option due to his... bangs.
“Picking flowers? That shouldn’t be important at the moment… I couldn’t help but notice you damaged your delicate body. Keh heh heh”
"What?" Kouri cocked her right eyebrow, slightly offended. This man barely even knew her and had the audacity of telling her on how to do things. She crossed her arms over her chest in reflect when he pointed his pale black-nailed finger to her neck, the thought of this man was a sexual predator passed at the back of her mind. Kouri just couldn't find out on why some male humans were attracted to her child body. Thinking about that just made her shudder...
Oh... he's thinking about my bloodstains... She realized something and made a mental facepalm. This Symenestra-looking man maybe was just concerned about Kouri's apparent state of being. Her bloodstains were kind of misleading to beings who didn't realize or know she was a ghost, combined with Kouri's earlier conclusion about his bangs; she made a deduction that this man mistook her for a human and was concerned about her 'wounds'.
Drop dead, huh? How funny... if he only knew that I'm already dead... "Ehehehe~" Kouri made a small giggle and beamed the man an appreciative and amused smile, liking his strange demeanor. Maybe... I could play with him... A small mischievous smirk graced her lips, she put down all of her flower baskets and chakram gently on the ground.
She then materialized herself, her form appearing much more solid. The important part was now she was touchable even by corporeal beings and objects. "Uun... Sir... a big bad wolf bit my neck, but I must continue my work... w-what should I do?" She played the scared and confused little girl act. In her mind though it was all Muhuhuhuhehehehahahaha~
If the black-clad man touched her, he would feel as if he was touching a stinging block of iceberg. |

“I’m quite fine, White Angel. But how I feel is not important…” He said, touching his bottom lip with his long black fingernails.
The young girl looked at Vladimir with caution as he spoke to her. However, it was to be expected if a stranger loomed over you and offered help. Although most would view it would be viewed as a nice gesture, the aura that Vladimir gave off can be somewhat threatening and untrustworthy. The young girl accepted Vladimir’s help in which he responded with an eerie chuckle. She told him the how she got the wound which made Vladimir smile more. “You’re a tough Little Angel aren’t you? Working through this pain, it must be excruciating. I wish I had a wolf, who knows maybe I’ll grab one’s heart one day. Keh hah hah hah hah!” Vladimir chuckled as he dropped his medical bag in front of the young girl.
“Now just relax, if your heart beats too fast you’ll become a cute ornamental water fountain. But I don’t want that… you’ll get the dirt all dirty.” Vladimir chuckled.
As Vladimir opened his bag, his metallic tools rattled and clunked. He shuffled through the bag in search for items that will aid the girl before him. However, Vladimir hasn’t working on a patient for a long time and can feel a part of him trying to claw its way.
An injured girl alone. How lucky am I. I guess I can- No she’s a girl- but she’s alone in the forest. Just one experiment won’t hurt… me anyways- Wait, she’s wounded- all the better to test with her- but- Yes- No- Yes- Yes… It’s for the common good- it is for the common good. “I’m doing this for the common good, right White Angel?” he asked the young girl with not context whatsoever.
Vladimir pulls out a bandage, a towel that slightly stained with blood, a waterskin and a poppy bulb that was dripping milky fluids. Vladimir took a step closer towards the girl with a big smile. “Can I ask you to lower your collar, White Angel? I need to see your wound. So I can use this- So I can tend to your injury.” He requested the young girl.
Vladimir looked at her wound, judging the severity of the wound. However, all he could see was a scratch. Vladimir soaked his towel with water from his waterskin and wiped around the scratch. For some reason an unnatural coolness seeped through the towel and nipped and his fingertips.
Vladimir trickled water over the wound, still wondering about the unnatural cold temperature that was produced from the young girl. He didn’t understand what causing this phenomenon but he was very eager to find out. However, her wound and bulb comes first.
“Now White Angel, I’m going to squeeze this on you tell me if it stings, okay?” |

Alright, little princess. I got a lunatic man who claimed to be a healer in front of you... if I'm a normal little girl, I would freak out right now... Kouri's insane side decided to quip.
The odd mannerism of the pale-haired man in front of her amused her greatly. She wondered on what kind of dumb humans would accept help from someone who looked so... conspicuous. Then again, there are lots of stupid humans out there...
Oh, he even chuckled like a maniac... little princess, looks like I just got myself a new friend~ Humor him more, little princess... ehehehahaha! "W-well uhm... yeah, it hurts a lot..." Kouri acted like she was truly in pain.
Is he stupid or what? Did he not see the chakram I held? Oh... he's a bit blind because of those bangs... The man's seemingly clueless act only reinforced Kouri's assumption about his blinding bangs.
"Awww... you care for the dirt more than I am?" Kouri hugged her own chest and mocked disappointment. Oh for Queen Morwen's sake! Who cares about dirt anyway? And I'm sure my heart doesn't beat anymore.
When he put down his bag, Kouri couldn't keep her eyes off the content. It was filled with numerous tools that Kouri didn't recognize. Little princess, don't you think he's some kind of serial murderer or something? Kouri shuddered a bit, some of those tools looked like they could be used as weapons or torture devices.
"Common good? Well you want to help me, right? That's already good..." She decided to humor him further however, Kouri's words and mind contrasted greatly Bullcrap! What kind of people help someone out of the blue and cackling like a lunatic all the while?!
The black-clad man then pulled out various objects that made sense as first-aid tools. A bandage, Bloodstains? Oh great... towel, a waterskin, and some kind of a poppy bulb. He requested her to lower her collar, acting like a true doctor for once.
"Oh... okay..." Kouri focused and acted like she was opening her outer dress. The dress' collar design was rather neck-fitting after all so if Kouri just pulled them down, it wouldn't make any sense and blow her cover. With deft movements, Kouri opened the front part of her dress, revealing her under-dress and baring her shoulders and neck. He still doesn't realize something is wrong? I can't decide on to be impressed at my disguise or frustrated at his stupidity...
The man then wiped her neck, around her 'wound'. "Kuh..." Kouri faked a moan of pain. "......." For a split second, Kouri made an unamused expression; but she quickly returned to her mock pained expression and meekly nodded when the man asked her to tell him if it stung. "Okay..."
*Siiiiiigh*... I wonder if he will ever realize on what the petch is going on...
"Imbecile..." Kouri whispered an insult in Vani, directed at the man. |

The young girl nodded at Vladimir. “Okay White Angel, Brace yourself.” Vladimir moved his hand towards the girl, holding a bulb that was practically oozing with a potentially dangerous substance. However, a small voice that carried a familiar word flew into his ear.
What, that sounds familiar… Where have I heard that word before? It’s not the language of the Konti… maybe its… Vladimir hand stopped just before it made contact with the young girl’s skin. Something’s not right… Suddenly Vladimir began taking notice of various features of the girl. Her red eyes, her snow-like skin and haunting atmosphere that surrounded her, these things just came to his attention.
The word breathed by the young girl was like a needle popping a bubble. Is that a real injury? No, it can’t be… if it was she would have bleed out already… and that weapon… oh… she said ‘Imbecile’ has she been stringing me along this whole time… well two can play at that game. Keh hah hah hah! Vladimir applied the poppy bulb to the open wound. Her cold skin nipped at his fingertips, but this time he didn’t have a towel over his hand. Vladimir held his breath to hold back the stinging sensation on his fingers, but was still held his ‘friendly’ smile.
“Okay White Angel, the juice from that plant I but on you should heal you right up.” Vladimir said as he clapped his hands together, dropping the bandage in his medical bag. “I don’t think it require a bandage, you’ll heal up in no time. Keh heh heh”
“White Angel, Do you carry a name that unique?” Vladimir asked as he packed up his medical bag, leaving his towel out to wipe his hands.
Vladimir placed his bag on his back and looked at the girl through his bangs. A very tiny splint in his bangs revealed a small portion of his bright green eye, contrasting from his colourless body. “You’ll look after yourself, right… White Angel?” |

"........" Kouri tilted her head to the right to expose her left part of her neck as the doctor put on his strange medicinal plant. Aaah~ At least he's warm~ When his fingers touched her, she automatically absorbed his body warmth; giving her frost touch in return. She noticed the black doctor holding his breath and yet he kept that odd grin of his.
Alright, little princess... he's good, really good... he played with me at my own game... The strange behavior didn't go unnoticed. The man must had realized she was not a human when he felt her chilling touch. The fact that this doctor didn't even flinch or be surprised was a damn good sign that he played along with Kouri.
"Heal me right up? Oooh~! Really?!" Kouri made a mock relieved expression, but in her mind she smirked at this man's clever nature. She decided to humor him further, concentrating herself, the wound on her neck magically closed itself. Kouri touched her bare neck with her right hand and pretended to gasp in surprise "Oh wow! I'm really healed instantly! You're amazing, doctor!" Pah... Petch, he's damn smart...
"Hm? My name?" Kouri decided in a normal situation, the least you could do to repay your 'savior' was to give you your name. Kouri smiled and swayed her body from side to side, her outer dress still bared open at the front. "My name is Fubuki Kouri, Sir~ but you can call me Kouri." Heh... Kouri slowly narrowed her eyes and made a knowing smirk to the man as if saying 'I know that you know...'.
“You’ll look after yourself, right… White Angel?”
That was the last straw, when the 'good' doctor said those words in Vani; even an idiot could find out that he definitely was playing along. Kouri decided its time to break all this charade. She extended four of her black tendrils, two of them grabbed each of the doctor's hands and two of them hugged his neck. She then floated up to meet him on eye-level. Her glowing crimson facing off with his concealed bright green.
Kouri then pulled him close, hugging him and pressing her body, bare shoulders and neck, and extended both of her hands to caress his cheeks. "I like you, Sir Doctor~ tell me your name so I can be your friend~ Hehehe~" |

Soon after Vladimir spoke his word in Vani, the young girl named Kouri shot fourth four black tendrils from her body and grappled The Lunatic Doctor by the arms and neck. The tender drill were cold against his clothing however, when the young girl pressed her body against his as she caressed his cheek. He could feel his natural body heat being sucked out through his skin. The pain was not extremely painful, but it was uncomfortable. Vladimir chuckled a bit to sooth his uncomfortable state.
Vladimir didn't bother resisting her hold. He may be mad but he does have ‘some’ common sense, he knew now that this girl was no ordinary girl and that she had a weapon. Because Vladimir isn’t a warrior or some strong fighter, he knew that he would stand a chance if he fought.
“What, you like me and you want to me my friend? That’s sweet of you to say, White Angel. I never knew an old fool like me could get things like that. Keh heh heh” Vladimir said to Kouri chuckling slightly.
“Well, That name I was give is Vladimir… I think… that or D’awroo… no, I sure it’s Vladimir… yes, Vladimir. But you can call me Dr. Vlad, or whatever you want. After all, a name is just something used to brand something’s existence. Do you not agree?” Vladimir said still held up by Kouri’s tendrils.
Still with a smile on his face, Vladimir looked at Kouri’s tendrils, inspecting them. “I have to say, White angel, these appendages of your look quite useful. Do you think you can lift creatures with those things?” Vladimir said with curiously. |

OOCIt's tendrils, not tender drillssss...
"Ahahaha! Yes, Sir. I would like to be your friend... and naaaah, a fool can't be a doctor, right? Ehehe~" Kouri smiled and released her tendrils' hold on him once she knew he was willing to talk to her. She didn't even bother to fix her clothes as her attention was completely focused on the man in front of her.
Kouri floated back, separating herself from him, and floated down to just a few inches from touching the ground. She then lifted the hem of her dress and bowed slightly, curtsying to the doctor. "My name is Fubuki Kouri, Dr. Vlad... but you can call me Kouri~ Ehehehe~" She lifted her head with the ever present naughty grin facing against his crazy grin, two 'not-so-right-in-the-head' people befriending each other; the world is going to be a better place indeed!
"Hmmm, I think name is very important, Doctor. Ehehehe~ This is what differentiates us from animals after all~" Kouri then noticed her open clothes and mocked embarassment. "Ah! My clothes, ehehehe~ It will be bad if someone make an attempt at me, right, doctor? Though, you're not that sort of person, riiight?" Kouri felt she could go all-out with Vlad, unrestrained by normal social decorum.
"Believe me or not, Doctor... a human hunter once tried to pounce me when I was gathering flowers, bwahahaha! You know what happens next? He phased through my body, went wide-eyed in shock, and running for his life with his tail between his legs! O ho ho ho ho!" Kouri spoke of her attempted rape experience with glee and as if it was fun and games. She then concentrated herself and her dress moved on its own, fixing itself.
"Hm?" Kouri's eyes perked up when Vlad mentioned about her tendrils. "Oh! These?" She gestured to them and her tendrils swayed in their air like ethereal whips. "Yes! I can! I can pick up many things! Hehehehahaha~" Kouri then demonstrated her ability by picking up her chakram and made elegant motions with it. The chakram spinning, turning, and dancing in mid-air. |

Vladimir was released from Kouri’s grasp. Soon after, he placed his hands in their opposite sleeves like a monk, warming them. The Lunatic Doctor peered through his bangs once again to look at the young girl before him as she properly introduced herself.
“My, my, White Angel. You’re manners are on a lady, or even royalty.” Vladimir chuckled
Vladimir noticed that Kouri’s dress was still left undone, revealing her undergarments and ghostly skin. “keh heh heh. However, I think you clothing suggests something else” Vladimir said, teasing Kouri. He simple smiled with a bit of a chuckle as Kouri fixed up her dress.
Soon after Kouri fixed her clothing, Vladimir listened to her story attentively. He gathered that her story was about a person attempting to rape her. However, he didn’t feel concerned but entertain as if it were a joke. “I bet he’s still running. Kah hah hah!” he laughed along with Kouri. If a person were to view this scene, they would be utterly confused by these two laughing individuals.
“Yes, White Angel.” Vladimir said when Kouri gestured and lashed forth her tendrils. Vladimir staired in marvel as Kouri swayed her tendrils around the place, picking up her chakram and madding it dance elegantly in the wind. “Simply marvellous, Truly marvellous. My, If it were any move marvellous, a word wouldn’t explain how marvellous it is! Kah hah hah!” Vladimir Laughed in awe.
Vladimir could feel a certain type of ‘closeness’ with this girl. Not a closeness that’s found in a relationship, but a closeness that’s found in the darkest part of the mind. He felt no moral restrictions with this girl from some reason, as if he could talk to her about his darkest side of him with no problems whatsoever. Perhaps she could help me?
“Say, White Angel. You wouldn’t mind helping a doctor out?” Vladimir asked, directing his attention Kouri. “See, I’m a doctor with an ambition, an ambition to help the lives of others. However, I require a few… subject… Keh heh heh… So I can conduct my experiments. However, my work is of a ‘hush-hush’ nature… so Promise me you won't tell a 'Soul', dissect your heart and hope to 'live'. Those Syliran guards don’t understand my how I work” Vladimir explained. He trusted Kouri not to tell anyone about his research methods, and that she would defiantly not tell the guards. |
