39th of Summer Evening 17th bell 513AV

Xi had returned home from the events with say at the market...A smirk still scrawled across his face. However Xi needed to get changed. Mostly to make sure that he was alright for the training session. Xi had told say to be in the training hall at the eighteenth bell. Until then however Xi was doing some mathematics in his room book keeping mostly. Keeping track on how much income he'd have if the season kept up being as productive as it was. Xi shook his head and eventually stopped staring at his book. Leaving it open on his desk. it's the fifteenth bell...I should probably go to the bathroom prior to training with sayren...yeah i'll go have a quick rinse... Xi stripped off his steel plating from his arms, and from his legs tossing them atop the bench in his room. Stripping his shirt, he opened the door to his room, heading towards the bathroom. Inside Xi stripped completely and freshened himself up.

After almost an hour Xi stepped out and scooped up his pants before starting to head back to his room. Not bothering with a towel. His head preoccupied with other things. Right Say should be in the training room waiting for me, I'll get there soon. This magic...I know my flux, is responsive and i'm learning to control it better. However i still don't know what i'm doing with it. i can use it to even slow down my heart rate...But what else would be do able ? I can speed up my arms and slow down my heart...I wonder could I increase my reaction speed? Could i have my reflexes snap even faster? Whilst Xi was deep in thought Xi didn't realize that there was a sound of foot steps coming towards him.

Sayren was in her room. She couldn't sit still. She was so excited for her first lesson. She tried posing and doing a few of the things that Ximal had done during the test, hoping it may do some good in the session. After some of that, she realized she only wasted away twenty chimes. She huffed the training session would be still hours away, "Maybe I should tend to Garel for a little. He might need a quick groom."
She walked out of her room and went to Garel outside, she gave him a quick pat on his side and reached for her bow, giving it a quick stretch to make sure that the string was still tethered tightly in place. She whispered to herself, "Things to get later, Arrows." Garel gave her quick side push, neighing happily. Sayren glanced at the strider, raising her eyebrow as she placed a hand on her hip, "And what's got you all rattled up mister?"
He seemed to have given her a quick smile as he shifted his head towards the road. She smiled at the stallion, but shook her head, "I'd love to, but we can't. I don't want to be late for my first training session."
Garel narrowed his eyes at her and gave her a small headbutt. Sayren rubbed her head, that actually stung a little, "Thanks for the love tap." And the stallion chuckled in delight. She sat around, grooming the strider for another hour or so. She lost track of time and decided to just go and see if Ximal for like to just start the training early. She kissed Garel on the cheek and departed from him with a vote of confidence. She walked down the hallway towards Ximal's room, where she then popped into the room, "Hey Ximal, would it be-" And her speech yielded to the sight of Ximal completely nude. Her eyes widen in surprise as she unintentionally gazed at him. He would make most Drykas men back home jealous with that body. The ropes of muscle going from the abs up was just...breath taking was all she could think. Considering she felt like Ximal had just unknowingly mentally shoved a fist into her gut. What was more embarrassing, was that she didn't realize just how long she was staring at him.

Xi held his eye's closed thinking about what he should do. Screw it, i'll think about that later right now I've got to think about what I'm going to teach sayren...She's got determination I'll give her that much... Xi folded his arms across his chest having dropped his pants on the bed beside him. Then from behind he heard a voice. Sayren's calling out to him. he assumed she was behind the door and turned to face the door to make his voice seem louder. "Would it be what. I'll be at the training room soon i need to-" Xi opened his eye's to see sayren staring at him with eye's somewhat wide. xi then glanced down himself to remember that he wasn't particularly wearing anything and shrugged. "-Say i'll meet you in the training area in a moment...And i think this makes us about even for today." Xi smirked and leant back and to the side to grab his pants off of the bed before sliding them over his legs and stepping towards the door.

Xi's expression shifted a little as he arched an eyebrow at her and poked her forehead lightly. "Quit gawkin and get walkin, i'll be there in a second." Xi smirked again and strolled back to grab his boots. This time she'd really vanished he'd hoped, if she had he'd follow out to the training room in a moment. For going his steel he headed out. Still without a shirt, no point in putting one on because in the end it'd only end up hampering his movements. After a few moments Xi would step inside the training room and Stretch out his shoulders lightly. "Alirght, now your first lesson . I'm going to teach you simply how to punch. Once you've mentally prepared."

He turned and she saw everything. Head to toe and nothing was hidden. She had seen her brothers, but this was just not the same! It was someone who was completely unrelated to her. He spoke, what did he say? He seemed so comfortable about the situation. He just shrugged off the fact that she had just seen him completely nude! Now his pants were on. Alright good, can kinda relax now. Cept now the image is burned into her mind! She kept staring at him, unsure of what exactly she was feeling. Uncomfortable was most assuredly one of them.
Then he issued his command and she was uptight and straight once again, "Of course!" Bolting down to the training room as quickly as she could. Her cheeks still burning bright red. She was now waiting for him, stretching once again and hopping around nervously to be on her toes. Still so uncertain how to act.

Xi stepped into the training room to see a rather...Nervous and probably still red as a brazier, faced sayren. Xi stepped into the training room quietly closing the door near silently. Rolling his steps across the floor. Before tapping her lightly on the shoulder. Xi smirked and sighed lightly. "You need to learn to relax, honestly. It's not like it's anything unnatural." Xi smirked and stepped past her towards the other side of the room. Before saying almost jokingly. "If it's that much of an issue i wonder whether i should make you do the lessons in the nude whilst i teach them in the same way." Xi smirked and then the smile faded from his face into seriousness. "Right. On a more serious note. Your first lesson is how to throw a punch. You might think it's too simple, but if you recall you never even touched me. So i want you to hit me as hard as you can. Go on." Xi smirked, this time a knowing one and as he said it he folded his arms across his scarred and burnt chest. The many events he'd been through showing out clearly.

"Before you ask why. I'm gauging your skill and power of your punches like this. If you don't hit me prior i don't know how hard i have to work you to get you up to par." Xi closed his eyes and for that moment he pulled his djed into them before slowly changing the colour of them from his usual deep black royal blue into a much brighter and much more vibrant silver. His intent to see if she could notice a subtle change. Something most people would just think was a figment of their imagination. Xi slowly opened his eyes staring into hers.

He approached, she was still so tense from what had just happened. He told her to relax, that granted a sigh of relief and shoulders a slight slump. Then he told her that if it bothered her that much that he would make her learn nude! That earned him a glare. And now he was serious, she didn't freak, least not physically, her mind was erratic, is he mad cause of the glare? Oh...he wanted to gauge how strong she was? Oh yeah...she didn't even land a blow on him...that is rather discouraging. She took a breath, she noticed he closed his eyes. She didn't want to strike then. That would seem dishonorable to a warrior. No matter how weak you would be. His eyes opened, she blinked, did...his eyes change color? Or was it just simply how the light could be reflecting on him? No, light can't alter eye color just like that. Besides, he never even moved. It was no longer the dark royal blue color he had, but now a more vibrant silver kind of color. Almost similar to most Diamond clan styled jewelry. He must be a sage of some sort. That would explain how he practically paralyzed her limbs with such simple strokes. Magic. That would explain all of his incredible feats. For a warrior to implement magic into fighting style, he must really be a master of the Arts. She cracked her knuckles, just like her brothers did before a fight, why they did, she didn't know why, but it was always intimidating to say the least. She took a deep breath and took a stance. Her right foot pivoted off her heel, toes pointing to her right as she stretched her left leg forward, toes pointing towards Ximal. Her right hand balled up into a fist at her side as the left arm bent and was raised in front of her, as if she was holding a shield of sorts to Ximal. She had watched many of his students take a similar pose and thought it would be useful. She had also saw that Ximal would many deep breaths before any sort of attack. Maybe that would increase the strength of her own? She took one more deep breath, then lunged forward, lifting her right foot up and stomping towards Ximal with her weight as she slammed her right hand into his stomach. From there she froze, unsure of what to do next, her eyes had never left Ximal's gaze. Even now, standing still with her fist to his gut, she searched his eyes for any set of approval. She knew wouldn't have been able to do much to the muscled man, but she was hoping to at least somewhat impress after all the passing screw ups. The silence maybe lasted for almost a chime, till Sayren finally asked, "How...was it?..."

Looked like he'd rattled her cage with the training in the buff comment still it was worth it to see how she reacted. Losing her cool mid fight might cost her more than the fight. He could see that she was already fairly snappy over her emotions so he though this would be a good way to show her how easily she could be manipulated. He'd mention that after the events that transpired. Was she mirroring his stance ? Interesting she was using a stance similar to the one he'd developed ? Where had she picked that up it wasn't like she'd been here long enough to learn it from him and he hadn't shown her. Interesting. Xi shifted his foot back slightly to increase the stability of his stance. Her stance was broken for a moment as she lifted her foot up before slamming it down to amplify the power of her punch and try to hit even harder, even trying to mimic Xi's own breathing. As her hand hurtled towards his stomach he hardened his abdomen muscles and braced his legs so he wouldn't even move.

Her attack hit and he began to evaluate her strength having minimized the impact damage. Xi closed his eyes weighing up the options surrounding her punching power. Then before he could answer he heard her ask how it was. "Power wise it was alright, considering you were mimicking most of my powers however you screwed up when throwing the punch i could haver tossed you across the room and hit you five times from that one punch. And when your quite done touching up my stomach muscles you can remove your hand and I'll show you how to throw a real punch." Xi smirked and would wait for her to remove her hand before shifting his feet with his LEFT foot forwards and his right foot back. His arm by his side and his punch came flying out with speed and strength stopping a few inches shy of sayrens own stomach but the air-wave launched by it would still be feel able.
"When you launch an attack you do it in proper footing, you never lift your feet unless your kicking or moving backward or forwards. Your feet are your anchor, if your stance is not strong...your going to fall. And then be hurt or killed."

She screwed up the punch? How? Before she had time to ask or even wonder what her mistake was, Ximal fist came flying at her from his stance. She felt a hit, but wait...that didn't hurt. Then she realized he never hit her, it was just the force of the wind that came from the speed and tensity of his punch. She didn't flinch, ok, maybe a minor flinch, but it took all the control of her muscles to pull that off! Then he corrected her mistake, it was because she lifted her foot. She figured by using it to step downward that it would increase the power of her punch, but what he said was true. Without a proper foothold, he could've easily done all of those things. She nodded, she returned to the stance once more. Taking a deep breath, she was thinking the punch through. She slid her right foot forward, bolting another punch towards Ximal to the chest. She will fix this and she will excel.

Xi leered at her She flinched as he threw his punch at her. Xi sighed and stepped backwards. And then barked in an order simply without any form of argument to be had. "You must never close your eye's in battle or you will miss something and that something might cost you your life!" Xi glared at her and then took a stand next to her her stance not up to scratch. Xi put his hand son her shoulders and kicked her feet out a little wider with his foot. Pressing down on ehr shoulders to force her to bend her knees to compensate. then he pressed his knuckles into her back forcing her to straighten up and motioned her arm infront of her and her right arm to her side. "That is the stance you will use. That is the basic stance, it's the perfect balance between assault and defence, speed and power. When you throw a punch- Xi slipped into the same stance next to her with practised ease before speaking again. "-You punch by rolling through with your shoulders, All your power comes from your torso, your back muscles deliver by far more power than your arm does alone. " Xi as if to demonstrate this point Threw out a sharp shot from his right hand side holding his arm steady and flat not adding his signature twisting motions to his punches. "This is your basic punch...Repeat it one hundred times. Both arms. You'll need to shift which foot is forwards. The foot you put forwards should ALWAYS be the opposite to the side you throw the punch from. It helps stabilize you so you do not loose balance whilst punching. Your left foot is currently forwards so you punch with your right hand. Let's see if you retained what i just said...Begin!"

She felt so stiff after his rearrangement of her body, but yet she felt more fortified as well. He said something about rolling your shoulders with the punch. Then he gave her quick demonstration of what he meant. Seemed pretty straight forward and not too complicated. Both arms?...That may suck a little, considering she mainly used her right hand during fights. Then shift each foot with the hand opposite, this made her actually reevaluate her stance. She knew he just told her it was her left foot, but she just seemed unsure about it. Once she figured it out, she thrusted a punch forward with her right hand, before she did much more. She glanced over at her master, "Just want to be sure it was correct, no need doing 100 failed punches." She was a little rigid, not quite sure if she actually followed through with the punch that he wanted her to do. She wanted to show confidence, but it was incredibly hard to do when you are terribly confused.
