Her chestnut hair falls just below her rear, partially loose, partially tied in braids, she often keeps a scarf tied about the top to keep it out of her way when working. Concept

Silverrain is probably best described as impish. She is quick to laugh and is rather constantly playful. Life is hard enough without making it any harder on yourself. A sharp wit and a strong sense of humour see her through her days.
She loves her family, her people, the horses and the land. But most of all she loves textiles. Spinning, weaving, dyeing, these are her passions. She is handy with a spear out of need but she is skilled with a loom out of desire.
Her largest flaw is also, possibly, her biggest strength. She is proud. This gives her a great confidence, but it also leads her to be cocky and easily stung. She tries to laugh off slights, but they can build into grudges within her and every now and then she snaps, throwing a fiery fit of rage, spit and insults before returning to her usual, smiley self.

Background

Silverrain was born Neve. She grew up much as any Ruby Clan child might. As soon as her fingers were able she began to train in crafting various items. She took quickly to the textile crafts and so her practice tended to focus there.
At the age of 12, young Neve was approached by a lovely pale grey mare. It was her first strider and it wasn't long after that she earned her windmarks. Neve called the mare SilverRain for her lovely pattern.
In her fourteenth spring Neve was out riding, enjoying the day and her mare. A sudden grassfire sprung up. The child and the mare fled, the horse pushing herself hard and fast. By the time the two returned to safety, Silverrain was lathered, breathing hard. She passed that night. Neve elected to take the name of that first, incredibly important friend who had saved her life.
Silverrain's 16th birthday came and went and though her family had high hopes of marrying her well, nothing happened. Her hips were narrow and her sights her set high. But she had skills and was useful and there was still time.
It is now two years later and, still unwed, she pushes forward. Now she rides a mare named Bramble. Her sights are set on growing her skills and proving herself as a worthy woman of her people.

Housing

Location: Crimsonsky family Pavillion Cyphrus grasslands

House: 1 large tent (4 person)
1 large tarp
100 ft of rope
1 lantern
2 torches
1 bedroll
1 blanket
1 set of fishing tackle & hooks
1 bonded Strider - Bramble
1 Yvas
1 large set of Yvas bags

Note on Yvas:
The Drykas use what is called a Yvas on their horses rather than bridles and saddles. A yvas is what equates to a girth with an attached breast collar combination hung with hooks and topped with a small flat hand grip that lays along a horse's shoulders. The Yvas is often placed over a colorful pad that acts to protect the horse from the rider. The grip fits over a strider's withers which holds the yvas in place. It almost looks like the type of thing vaulters used on their draft horses, though it is more functional than a vaulter's pad. The horses can free themselves from them if they got separated from their riders, and do not have tack to entrap or tangle them when they are running loose. The yvas has ring tethers on it for handling a set of wither bags and a waterskin, and is often decorated in knot-work beading that identified the horse and rider as part of a specific pavilion.

Drykas ride without any headgear or bridles on their horses at all. They do not use any halters either.
