Physical Description Djiann is an odd fellow. Resembling his kangaroo animal form, his legs are powerful. He’s about 6’ 4”, but mostly that’s in his legs and arms. You could consider him a lanky fellow, but not skinny. His legs are covered in muscle, and his arms have enough in them to pack a wallop. These traits round him out at about 155 pounds of muscle. His chest and abdominals have virtually no fat, but neither are packed with muscle. He prefers to wear the baggy pants typical of a youth living in Yahebah. He can’t exactly sit still, he can if he really concentrates or has to, but when his guard is down he’s a very…bouncy being. He's one of those people that if they sit for too long their leg starts to wobble uncontrollably while they ponder what they could be doing while they are busy sitting there. When he transforms into his animal form, he turns into a kangaroo. Standing at full height, he is about 6’ 7”. His fur is a brownish red, combining his skin tone and hair color. Obviously he has all the characteristics that kangaroos have. As a side note, Djiann has an organ that stores water for later use by his body. This is due to his animal form being a kangaroo, and as such they have this organ too. He's...ahem, also vegetarian. A fact he isn't proud of, but must be, seeing as his animal side is also vegetarian, or an herbivore, in better terms.

Character Concept Personality - He’s a very bouncy individual. Literally and emotionally. Those that try to pry find out the hard way he’s very good at deflecting personal questions. He keeps a mask of happiness and annoyingly cheery enthusiasm, though there are some problems that definitely plague his mind. He usually forgets about them fast, due to his Kelvic nature, he lives fast. Also, he’s a bit of a rebel. He doesn’t like authority, and refused to imprint with anyone; which led many humans and other races to believe he was a “broken Kelvic.” Which always ticked him off, how Kelvic are treated like nothing. They might not be fully human, but they’re partway there, and shouldn’t be treated like they're purely animals. Another side not that should be heeded is that he’s a little hotheaded. He’s a brawler by nature, so if he sees a fight coming on he isn’t shy to come in swinging. Or if someone pushes his buttons wrong when he is in one of his rare off moods. Which you don’t want to get into, if he’s not all happy and bubbly, that’s when you should be wary, very very wary. Note that it's very very rare when he's not happy. Ethics - He practically has none left. He grew up on the streets of Yahebah, and they’re not kind to Kelvic folk. Stealing, robbing, any sort of larceny you could imagine to get by on a no-income life was what he knew. He would slit a throat if it meant he could eat for another day. Despite his relatively young age, innocent and bright appearance, he’s got a dark past that he’s been trying to cover up for the past year. Likes - Wandering, Exploring, Jumping, Eating, Brawling, and to a certain extent Stealing. Dislikes - Humans, well he more distrusts them than dislikes them. Authority, Meat, and Stillness/Silence.

Character History Djiann doesn’t remember his childhood. At least the first six months of it. He doesn’t even remember his father or mother. His father left his mother to go die in some other man’s fight, and his mother died in childbirth. Growing up in Yahebah for about another three months, he learned quickly to hide his Kelvic origins, which proved harder than thought. Always standing taller than the other street rats, he was usually the bruiser of any operation. The street rats of Yahebah didn’t have any organization, only when they knew that they could pull off a certain job would they band together. So he learned a thing or two about pick pocketing and the like. He learned three things or four about brawling, that’s how he got into the whole mess he’s in currently. He was really good at those kinds of fight, wet a piece of cloth so it wouldn’t rip, tie it around your opponent’s arm and see who would last the fight. Anyway, one day a fight was getting really heated, and in his fervor he accidentally shifted mid-combat, to the astonishment of the whole crowd of kids. Especially the kid he was facing, instead of fighting a 4’7 human child, he was facing now a 5’8” kangaroo. Most people have never even seen a kangaroo! The kid untied himself and ran, but Djiann knew he messed up before he started explaining, partially because all that came out were the noises a kangaroo makes. This caught the attention of a local “businessman”. The next day Djiann woke up in a room he didn’t recognize, his foot tied to the wall. For the next year he was put through a grueling experience, in an attempt to be imprinted on the businessman’s son. Through sheer force of will, Djiann resisted, and developed a distrust of all humans. One day the child, a cruel spoiled brat of 9 years old requested to see Djiann alone. He of course had filled out the rest of his 6’ 4” build by now, and developed a bright and happy mask that he’s beaten into place instead of a melancholy one. The boy had a stick that he would beat Djiann with, and untied Djiann in order to get a better angle and watch him squirm more. Which in hindsight was a poor choice, seeing as Djiann turned on his brawler’s instinct and transformed right there. The boy was spooked and tried to run, but Djiann leaned back on his tail and lashed out with a foot. It caught the evil child in the chest and launched him out of the second story window. The scream could be heard throughout all of Yahebah. The guards came instantly, and Djiann crashed past them. Escaping the house, and pilfering some money, and the neighborhood, he kept running, erm, hopping. Stocking up on supplies from a “late night store”, he set out that night and is now wandering somewhere on the Cyphrus side of the border.
