Her slitted-pupil eyes, a strange duo-chromatic shade that turns green or blue under different light are offset by wisps of hair pulling free and flying in the wind, her cheeks constantly dimpled due to a permanent mischievous full lipped grin. Her caramel brown skin is the result of her fathers deep chocolate skin and her mothers lighter tones and while she shares her mothers natural curvyiness, its her fathers genes that give her a more athletic firmness. Her cat form's hair is the same shade as her human one, its natural shorter length keeping her from looking too wild. She shares its sharp nails and teeth as well. Character Concept At the age of two, one season away from her third anniversary of birth, Ruebia is caught between the impulsiveness of youth and the beginning maturity of adulthood. She is a curious thing, wild and carefree, and while her curiosity and quick wits proclaim her street smart, her rose-colored view on the world leaves her a bit naive. She is a tomboy, not prone to overly feminine things and her consciousness of her own developing womanhood is at the most basic. She is eager to learn but her learning curve leans towards experience and not book gained knowledge. She is quick to judge but not stubborn in her judgement, always willing to give the benefit of the doubt in either direction. She takes whatever is given to her at face value but don't expect that to be in your favor. She has a sharp instinct and she will be quicker to trust her gut than to trust what you tell her. Her inbred need to bond leaves a taint over her desire to travel. Although she wishes to find a bondmate she does not want to be burdened by them or to be slowed down. The contradiction leaves her at odds at times and makes her weak in socializing, wary of the instantaneous bonding that could occur at any time. Character History Ruebia had always been told she was different. Her mother had worried for her as a child, she had been too carefree, not obedient enough for a Kelvic. The household she grew up in was a small one. It had consisted of her, her white owl Kelvic mother Cessmara, her mothers bondmate Clyde, a nice patient man and his two twin sons Kevir and Revin, begot from a previous marriage in which their mother had fallen fatally ill. Ruebia herself was a result of a breeding exchange between her mother and a brown bear Kelvic, whose bondmate's family had been sailors, temporarily docked on the shores of Zeltiva. They had mated twice, the first born given to her father's family, and right before they left, her father and mother had mated again, giving life to her. Although she was on good terms with her mothers bondmate and his sons, she had failed to bond to any of them at a younger age and now nearing her third fall, it was apparent that the opportunity with them was lost. She could only think of the day that she would find that special someone that she could bond to, one that could satisfy her restless soul and would not tie her down as she often viewed her mothers relationship with her bondmate. At the beginning of the summer season 513 AV, Ruebia left her mothers home to travel, a wanderlust deeply rooted in her bones. She hadn't a clue where to go or what exactly she was searching for but every journey began with a single step and Ruebia had made hers.

Location & Possessions Location Ruebia currently resides in Zeltiva, renting a room in the Worlds End Grotto inn while she decides where to go next. Possessions 1 Set of Clothing Ruebia's clothing consists of an ill-fitting short-sleeved tunic that falls to mid thigh and is belted at the waist over rough tights and boots that reach mid calf. She wears on her left arm an Archers Arm Guard and on her right hand an Archers Glove, both purchased in Zeltiva's own General Store. 1 Heirloom: She carries with her a long cloak turned inside out to hide the soft turquoise dyed velvet, a parting gift from her mother.
