She had grabbed his hand and flown off through the city of Syliras. She had sounded happy, very much so, and he had loved it: holding her hand, while she led him towards the wilderniss. He enjoyed being friends with Kouri, but he still had a thing for her, the sweet Ghost girl he'd just met.
Thirthy chimes later they had still been holding hands, when they arrived at a clearing Kouri had seemingly claimed as her own. Once there she had led go of him and grabbed her daggers, four of them, using them to form some sort of Chakram. Draven stood mesmerized as the small girl used her tendrils to show of her skills with the exotic weapon. It was beautiful,... she was beautiful.
As he stood there, still enthralled by the young girl, she had arrived: a clothless woman. She looked rather old. Draven himself had no idea what a naked woman would be doing in a dangerous forest; honestly, the whole thing made him a bit nervous. She, on the other hand, hadn't spend much attention to him. Instead she had spoken to Kouri, and demanded the girl to her what they were planning to do in the woods, which was obviously hunting and killing...
things.
Kouri had sounded scared, or rather nervous ~ She had sounded like every girl would sound in front of their grandmother, trying to hide the fact that they had eaten sweets before dinner. The woman however, had sounded
strong, but not angry; just like how an older servant would talk to the mischievous daughter of her boss: reprimanding, yet minding the fact that she was not the one in charge.
"No, dear. I will not leave until you tell me what you were going to do? Fine... young man, what did Kouri told you? Know that Kouri..."She had asked him a question, for him to snitch on Kouri. Would he answer her? Yes, Kouri had turned out to be ... ~ rather playful, but she was still the sweet and kind girl he knew - Or thought he knew. The woman on the other hand, was bossy. She was just like every old person, trying to ruin the fun of young people. Just like the old couple, who hardly payed attention to their tabby cat... unless he possessed it, and forced the couple to mind her presence. She ... she was just like his grandparents had been: mean, and old, and angry! All she wanted was to ruin his life, to make him feel miserable. And he
hated her, he hated everything she stood for: mean, old people.
"B-but! D-don't answer her!"Kouri didnt want him to answer her either. She was being threatened - just like he was - by this old, mean woman. Kouri was already a ghost; she had long since suffered ~ He had no idea how, but she must have! And now... now this wretched hag was trying to make all of them suffer even more!
"Don't... tell her anything..."She, Kouri, his friend, looked magnificent. She had urged him to remain silent, pleaded him to do so! Her eyes glowing, and with her hair released from its bound, she looked even more beautiful than she had done before. There was hardly any decision to be made; he would not let his grandparents ruin this for him!
' We were going to have fun,' he spoke, coldly smiling at the old woman :
' Is there anything wrong with that ...? ' How he hated her, for everything she had him suffer. He turned his head to Kouri, offering her a warm smile, and whispered: ' Can we have fun now?' Draven looked at the woman.
