Summer Crush, meeting a lovely Girl ( Fubuki Kouri )

"That's boring..."

Boring? Draven figured he had been right; she must be the type of ghost who doesn't enjoy annoying the 'living', instead she calls it boring. He could've known - and a part of him had guessed it -, a girl so sweet and gentle wouldn't like such mundane games. She most likely spend her afternoons picking flowers, or helping cats get out of a tree.

"Why don't we just... you know..."

He smiled as she started formulating her suggestion; he figured she was a bit ashamed to suggest they could go and pick some flowers, or listen to a storyteller in the grand bazaar. He already started nodding as she spoke; surely her suggestion would be cute?

"scare some thugs at the Great Bazaar or you know... ehehe... kill some wolves or bears or mountain lions? It's fun you know~ I usually help hunters that way~"

Huh? Did she just suggest to kill things... Draven wasn't afraid of murdering someone or something - and he had rarely done so when the need arose - but to actually go out and actively search for something to kill. The whole thing made him feel uneasy, as the girl turned out to have a side much darker than he could've guessed. Yet he had never had the chance to befriend another ghost, and she really did seem sweet. Perhaps this was here way of dealing with the pain of her past life? Draven sighed.

"What do you say?"

He wouldn't let this chance go by, to meet and get to know another ghost. After all, how bad could it be... to go and hunt things.

'O-okay, I'd like to...,' he said, a slight hesitation in his voice.

HihiI know ;) My PC has no idea how dark your character can be, so I was hoping for this: a chance to make my PC doubt and question himself AND you :D

OOCWonderful! Now I'm assured you don't mind dark-themed threads. ;) Let's have some fun! :D

"Ehehehehehaha~ Alrighty then!" Kouri was happy, really happy, that another ghost shared her hobby, she viewed her hunter-killer activity in the same regard as having a tea party and playing with dolls. She blissfully ignored the hesitation in his voice even though it was obvious, Kouri's insane side was meshing more and more with her original personality with each passing day and even her sister, Rena, was staring to be influenced. Would she do the same to Nathan?

"Let's go~ Let's go~♪" With a sing-song voice, Kouri pulled Nathan, the ghostly duo then flew past people, objects, and walls. They kept going and going in a straight line until they emerged just outside the Fortress' Walls, the vast wilderness called the Bronze Woods lay before their ethereal eyes. "Let's go get my daggers first, then I will borrow you some~" Kouri kept holding to Nathan's hand as she pulled him towards the Woods. Giggles and happy hums escaped her lips as she lead Nathan to her favorite clearing.

Thirty chimes later...

Due to their speed and phasing ability, the ghostly duo arrived at Kouri's clearing much faster than normal people would, it was a medium-sized clearing with a noticeably tall tree near it. "Wait here just a moment~♪" Kouri gave Nathan a playful caress on the cheek as she flew up and extended a thick tendril, the tendril picked up four of her steel daggers and shaped them into their chakram formation. I think I'll only need four daggers today... it's just animals after all~ She gave the daggers a few practice twirl and launched to Nathan.

"See what I can do, Nathan!" Kouri then showed off her soulmist projection ability by performing various complex movements with the chakram, it flew and sang through the air around her, she also separated the daggers and wielded four of them individually before snapping them back into formation. "Now let's kill som-"

"Some what, Kouri?"

"!?" The sudden female voice... the familiar voice of "Madame Ama..." Ama, the Radiant White Wolf and self-proclaimed guardian of the Woods. Kouri abruptly turned around and found the familiar clothless woman with snow white hair and deep brown eyes, Ama's human form. "What do you want, Madame Ama?" Kouri respected the Dire Kelvic, but she didn't like her for her meddling nature and that damn blinding light of hers.

"Dear, you heard me, what... do you want to kill? You promised not to kill more wolves..." Ama heaved a sigh, she was also in a dilemma, her gnosis was only powerful enough to deter the ghost, not actually hurt her. She once came this close of being murdered by her, she would be if not for the efforts of Razkar, the Myrian Warrior, in calming her down. Yes, a Myrian, a savage calmed down a ghost.

"......................" Kouri went silent, she truly didn't expect was going to be here, sure she lived in the Woods; but wasn't the Woods much larger? Go bother someone else!

"And... who is this young bo-"

"My friend, now get lost, Madame Ama..." Kouri started to spin her chakram, threatening the Kelvic.

Ama knew from first-hand experience that showing fear would just aggravate the phantom further and risk being eviscerated by her daggers so she kept her calm "No, dear. I will not leave until you tell me what you were going to do? Fine... young man, what did Kouri told you? Know that Kouri..." Has gained quite the infamy and has a bounty on her head... she wanted to say that, but decided not to, the ghost would murder her if she did.

"B-but! D-don't answer her!" Kouri was getting panicked, she didn't want Nathan to think bad of her, she futilely tried to make Ama looked bad but she couldn't... Ama didn't do anything wrong. Kouri's eyes narrowed to reptilian-like slits and glowed slightly, her hair ribbons also magically disappeared and her very long hair spread like a body-size white cobra hood "Don't... tell her anything..."

OOCSurprise! Surprise! What would Draven do? :D

Summer Crush, meeting a lovely Girl ( Fubuki Kouri )

Postby Draven on July 8th, 2013, 9:12 pm

She had grabbed his hand and flown off through the city of Syliras. She had sounded happy, very much so, and he had loved it: holding her hand, while she led him towards the wilderniss. He enjoyed being friends with Kouri, but he still had a thing for her, the sweet Ghost girl he'd just met.

Thirthy chimes later they had still been holding hands, when they arrived at a clearing Kouri had seemingly claimed as her own. Once there she had led go of him and grabbed her daggers, four of them, using them to form some sort of Chakram. Draven stood mesmerized as the small girl used her tendrils to show of her skills with the exotic weapon. It was beautiful,... she was beautiful.

As he stood there, still enthralled by the young girl, she had arrived: a clothless woman. She looked rather old. Draven himself had no idea what a naked woman would be doing in a dangerous forest; honestly, the whole thing made him a bit nervous. She, on the other hand, hadn't spend much attention to him. Instead she had spoken to Kouri, and demanded the girl to her what they were planning to do in the woods, which was obviously hunting and killing... things.

Kouri had sounded scared, or rather nervous ~ She had sounded like every girl would sound in front of their grandmother, trying to hide the fact that they had eaten sweets before dinner. The woman however, had sounded strong, but not angry; just like how an older servant would talk to the mischievous daughter of her boss: reprimanding, yet minding the fact that she was not the one in charge.

"No, dear. I will not leave until you tell me what you were going to do? Fine... young man, what did Kouri told you? Know that Kouri..."

She had asked him a question, for him to snitch on Kouri. Would he answer her? Yes, Kouri had turned out to be ... ~ rather playful, but she was still the sweet and kind girl he knew - Or thought he knew. The woman on the other hand, was bossy. She was just like every old person, trying to ruin the fun of young people. Just like the old couple, who hardly payed attention to their tabby cat... unless he possessed it, and forced the couple to mind her presence. She ... she was just like his grandparents had been: mean, and old, and angry! All she wanted was to ruin his life, to make him feel miserable. And he hated her, he hated everything she stood for: mean, old people.

"B-but! D-don't answer her!"

Kouri didnt want him to answer her either. She was being threatened - just like he was - by this old, mean woman. Kouri was already a ghost; she had long since suffered ~ He had no idea how, but she must have! And now... now this wretched hag was trying to make all of them suffer even more!

"Don't... tell her anything..."

She, Kouri, his friend, looked magnificent. She had urged him to remain silent, pleaded him to do so! Her eyes glowing, and with her hair released from its bound, she looked even more beautiful than she had done before. There was hardly any decision to be made; he would not let his grandparents ruin this for him!

' We were going to have fun,' he spoke, coldly smiling at the old woman : ' Is there anything wrong with that ...? ' How he hated her, for everything she had him suffer. He turned his head to Kouri, offering her a warm smile, and whispered: ' Can we have fun now?' Draven looked at the woman.

ErmegerdhYour character is such a bad influece ;). Perma-hating old people activate!

Summer Crush, meeting a lovely Girl ( Fubuki Kouri )

Fubuki Kouri

OOCAma looks about 30-ish so not exactly grandma old, but could be considered old enough to be a parent. :P

Ama went silent, from her eyes, Kouri was threatening the other ghost into cooperating with her. Kouri's aura was much more prominent than the other ghost, it was befitting as Ama witnessed herself what the little ghost girl coul do; she was very powerful and combined with her unstable psyche, she's one very dangerous phantom. "Kouri, you don't want to do this... remember what Razkar said..."

"....." Kouri's expression softened a bit at the mention of Razkar, another people that she respected greatly. Ama knew the ghost well and used her attachment and respect to the Myrian warrior to persuade her. Kouri closed her eyes and sighed, she then faced Ama and lightly smiled "Well~ like Nathan said, we were going to have fun! Ehehe~ And uhm... kill? Oh! I meant by helping hunters hunt their kill, like deer and boars" Kouri was only telling half the truth, she was planning to do both help-the-hunters and massacre.

"I see, dear..." Ama decided to just buy the ghost's statement, knowing Kouri, Ama knew do's and don'ts in talking with the ghost girl. "Nathan, I see..." Ama turned her attention the male companion of Kouri "That's a lovely nam-"

"Are we done here, Madame Ama?" Kouri cut her off, Ama only smiled her motherly smile, scolding the ghost further without any backup around was a bad idea.

"You promise you will only help hunters, dear?"

"......" Kouri didn't want to lie, she's not used to lying to the strict upbringing her parents taught her "I... promise..." She truly meant it.

"I'm glad, dear. I will take my leave now" Not stretching her thinning welcome any further, Ama's body shone and she transformed into her dire white wolf form, the very large wolf then she retreated into the forest depths.

Kouri kept an eye on Ama's retreating form until she was no longer visible, but she knew Ama would keep watching them... from somewhere. "Whew... I'm glad that's over, right, Nathan?" She faced Nathan and gave him a playful jab on the shoulder "Ehehe~"

"So! Shall we begin? If you want a dagger, just tell~" Kouri didn't want to assume Nathan's power with soulmist projection yet, she knew it could be taxing on less experienced ghosts. Kouri then pulled Nathan again and launched themselves to the forest, her giggles and hums echoed in the forest.

OOCI'll Nathan take the lead in spotting a hunter! You can determine his/her reactions, scared, intrigued, etc and whether or not he/she would accept 2 ghosts' help! :D

Summer Crush, meeting a lovely Girl ( Fubuki Kouri )

The woman had turned out to be a Kelvic, and Draven had been astonished. She had transformed herself in a great silver Wolf and left the clearing, leaving both Kouri and Draven all by themselves. Draven had looked towards Kouri confusedly.

"Whew... I'm glad that's over, right, Nathan?"

He had silently nodded, wondering why he had felt such hate towards the Kelvic woman. Surely not because of something she had done; she had hardly spoken to him. Honestly, she had reminded him of his grandmother, albeit her being less old, and that alone had been reason enough to hate. Yet seeing her transform in a majestic wolf had made him doubt: surely she wasn't that bad. Draven still believed that badness was something for stuck-up old people, and in retrospect that woman had been neither. Yet he quickly emptied his mind of such thoughts and re-focused his attention to Kouri.

"So! Shall we begin? If you want a dagger, just tell~"

A dagger? Draven felt his heart sink through his ethereal chest. Of course he'd need something like a dagger to hunt... things. His Projection skills were horrendous though, since his raven had always served as his 'hands' in the mortal world: picking up objects, carrying gold and ... pecking enemies - He was indeed quite worthless when it came to killing. The only thing Draven was good at was Possession, using it as a way for him to both 'Project' and 'Materialize' through his raven.

She didn't gave him any chance to tell her though, as she took his hand and rapidly launched the both of them throughout the forest. For a second he wondered whether she was trying to make sure that woman wouldnt follow them, but quickly let go of that thought as something such a sweet girl would never think of doing.

Suddenly they stopped, and Draven took a quick look around, in an attempt to see what Kouri had seen, until he saw both of them: hunters, hoisted in leather and fur with bows on their backs and a hunting dog at their side. The pair looked fearsome, but he figured the dog must have been old, since he failed to notice the - albeit hidden - presence of two ghosts. A sudden rush of excitement took hold of Draven as he followed Kouri, and neared both men. He felt this was going to be interesting, perhaps even some sort of adventure.

Unfortunatly for them, both hunters were fully well aware of the bounty on the young girl's head, and had just enough brains to be able to recognize an opportunity. They would let the ghostly pair join them, and await their chance, to restrain careless ghost.

Pfff...First time I did something like that; well, basically both hunters are aware of the bounty on her head, and will try to attack her if they're given an opportunity. I pity them, since they dont know Kouri yet :(

"Hey, Gren..." The shorter of the two hunters spoke to the taller one.

"Yeah, Dal?" Gren, the taller hunter, noticed the serious tone of his friend's speech and it also got a hint of worry in it.

"It's that... that... the 'Bane of the Wolves'?" Dal spoke, gesturing to the two approaching ghost, but mainly to the female one.

"Bane who?" Gren cocked his head in confusion, he's a bit... slow in the head.

"Bane of the wolves, the ghost Peython was looking... the one with the seventy-five gold mizas reward for her capture."

"Ah, that one."

"And she's approaching us, along with another gh-" Dal didn't even get the chance to finish his sentence before the phantom little girl appeared right in front of their faces, adorably smiling.

"Hehehehe~ Hello~♪" Kouri was really excited to find two hunters travelling along with a dog... which immediately snarled and barked at Kouri in fear and alert. The dog's instincts screamed 'danger! danger!' at the two translucent figures before it, especially at the one with the spinning metallic weapon of death at her shoulder.

"Why, hello there, little missy and... young sir!" Gren greeted the two ghosts as if they were normal human, his carefree mind and simple mentality had its uses after all. "What brings you here today? And Hunter, shush!" He commanded the dog named Hunter to stand down, Hunter begrudgingly obeyed his master's command, but he still kept his eye on the ghosts.

"Well~" Kouri put her hands behind her back and cutely swayed her body from side to side. "I want to help you guys hunt!"

"Help us? That would be greaaaaaawawawawa!" Gren was suddenly pulled by Dal and the hunters along with the dog gained some distance from the phantoms.

"Hey, dude! Are ya crazy?!" Dal whispered to his friend, his tone rude and full of shock "what are you doing?!"

"Well... she offered to help us, so I thought it would be nice to accept and she asked in such a cute manner too~"

"Gah!" Dal facepalmed and rubbed his temple "I just can't believe yo-..." but his lips suddenly curled into a grin, a sinister grin "actually, that's a good idea..." He wanted to capture the girl and gained the gold, his greed blinded him of the dangers the powerful ghost possessed; his mind was fooled by Kouri's child-like appearance. Dal was a perfect example of a short-sighted man.

"Awesome!" Gren nodded, unaware of his friend's sinister plan.

The two hunters and dog then approached the phantoms back and Dal graciously nodded to both Kouri and Draven "We'll accept your help, Miss..."

"Kouri! Ehehe~ And this is my friend, Nathan!" Kouri answered innocently, in times like this that her childish mind truly showed itself; proven by how quick she was to reveal her and Nathan's name.

"Miss Kouri and Sir Nathan it is..." Dal smiled, he had no idea on how to capture a ghost but he suspected they could be hurt by normal means, oh how wrong he was. "Please lead the way..."

OOCAlright! Feel free to RP both of the hunters as well, Draven! :D
