Hello, Sylirans.

It has come to my attention that some of you seemed to be not reading the lore properly, with some I suspect didn't even read them at all.

The most common, but fatal, mistakes that I've found are players treating Syliras as some kind of an ordinary medieval city, with houses, individual shop buildings, etc where in fact Syliras is one huge fortress with apartments and shops built into the fortress walls. You can't look up to the sky as it would be covered by the stone walls and ceilings and you cannot feel any sunlight or moonlight as again, covered by the stone walls and ceilings.

Also, I have found a thread with a noble having his personal company of knights, one cannot have a personal company of knights (guards are allowed, but not knights) as all knights belong to the Syliran Knight Order.

Please, please read these three crucial lores before you begin posting in Syliras, it saves us both time and effort:

Theres actually some districts where you can see the sky, the area of Kova's Well, and if I'm not mistaken, the Docks district as well. The rest of the city is as you've said- one big castle filled with apartments and no sunlight; and the Windmount District only makes sense to have sunlight since that is where the horses are kept- where it mentions green grass. You can't have green grass without sunlight, unless you want it to shrivel and die..

The training grounds for the knights ^..^, It's on the rooftops, so yeah, that's one affected by light. Also grass up there, in certain places. But then again, I'm no expert, I may be wrong. But yes Fubu, good point out, Fallon told me about this a while back :1 #Helpful

Any squires wanna help me with my crossbow or shield? Seriously, I could (already ) have been doing a butt load of solos, but I'd be down with mutual training. Good point there, Ana and Kise. Yes, some areas are open, but mostly do not. My point was directed at players who view Syliras as an ordinary open air medieval city, such as London or Paris in medieval times.
