Nate's grin resurfaced at Sheva's comment. The young man had almost forgotten that she was actually Kelvic. Her light laugh rang in his ears; she was so human. Nate didn't really know much about Kelvic's outside of being around Sheva, but the librarian had told him once that they were primarily the animal sides of themselves. He often forgot that.

"Well good!" He nudged her arm with his elbow and gave her a serious look. 'Trust me, it is hell." The grin was quickly back and he nodded at her ideas.

"The library's nice and all, what did you want to look up?" Nate was curious as to what she would want to research. From what little he knew about her kind, he assumed they didn't really do learning.
"The lake could be... interesting." Nate had been down there many times before. It was pretty to look at, but he had never skated. He had a feeling he would be somewhat useless.
"Tell you what, you can lead the way. I'm at your disposal today because I left you for so long!" Nate would follow her to wherever she felt like going, lake, library or anywhere else.

Sheva was practically glowing with excitement at Nate's words, he would do anything she wanted for the day...anything. She had never had someone willing to do anything that she did, she found the feeling exhilarating. "You may well end up regretting that decision." she teased, along with a wink of her eye and a mischievous smile. Sheva hadn't really thought of why she'd suggested the library, she had only been there once and to be honest it bored her. She thought for a moment before finally deciding on a destination as the pair began walking in the direction of Mirror Lake. She figured this would be as good a time as any to try ice skating, hopefully it would go well. "Have you ever done this?" she said as they arrived at the ice rink, where several people where already dancing across the smoothed ice.
