Arivia Castalee was the last life of Sagitta before being claimed by Leth and she is the mortal form of the Ethaefal. And so, in this post, lies the complete and detailed account of Arivia's life before her death. This is purely OOC information since even Sagitta herself could not remember everything. This should be the base of her memory flashes and stuffs.
History
Under development . . .
The truth was Arivia was a mistake. Lucilia Castalee had never planned on having a child until one of her customers, Lorent, accidentally impregnated her. The young prostitute had decided to keep the womb inside her and left the brothel. Lorent had graciously took some of the responsibility to take care both young woman and their child. He was no noble, but he had a decent income as a sailor and was able to support them.
Ever since she was young, Arivia was the kind of girl who couldn't stay still. Her energy constantly had gotten her running and messing around. She was very active and somewhat wild. Lucilia had quite a difficult time raising her eldest. As a small kid, Ari had wanted lots of things her family could not afford and so, she developed a habit of stealing. Only small things - foods, maybe a cheap trinket or two. She was rarely caught and when she was, the girl could run fast, ducking between tight allies, slipping and disappearing between the crowd.Personality
Under development . . .
As a kid, Ari was mischievous and rebellious and rash. She did before she thinks and it often had gotten her into various troubles.
When Ari stepped into her adolescent stage, her wantonness wanned only slight. The girl was still rash and worked on her impulse, but sometimes she would stop and think what the effect will do to her family. With new responsibilities resting on her shoulders, Ari was forced to grow and leave her childish tendencies behind. Most of her moralities were also pushed back to the edge of her mind - it was necessary around the people she work with. She didn't become cruel and sadistic, but her empathy diminished. Ari couldn't afford to care that the package she was sending was actually a poisoned food that would kill the receiver or that the message she was delivering was one to hire an assassin to kill someone - she had done those kind of things a lot. A couple of times, Ari had even delivered some slaves to their new masters - even though she was well aware of the cruelty of them. It was not her problem. Her mind was bent only to her task, ignoring its story entirely. That single-mindedness had driven her into securing her family's well-being. The messenger had no reason to care about anyone else.
Despite that, Ari was completely loyal and devoted to those she was fond of. She had a great sense of responsibility and would go through great distances just for the sake of her family and friends. Unfortunately, she did not have that much friends in her life.Relationships
Demetrios Vassinder
Demetrios was a minor noble of Ravok. His family was nothing compared to the big families but he was wealthy enough. In a family of merchants, he had always been the odd one out. Unlike her older brother and sisters, he didn't possess the talent haggling and selling - much to his parents' dismay. Demetrios had no interest in the family business, instead he developed a love in the arts and history and a little travel. Most of his time was spent wandering around, trying to find anything that caught his attention and gave him the inspiration to draw.
Ari and Demetrios first met about two years before Ari's death. Upon chance, Demetrios witnessed everything as a girl tried to break into a house. He happened to know the owner of the house and decided to do something. The boy came right up to the young girl and confronted her. She had panicked, looking guilty and he could not help but feeling sorry for her. Demetrios promised her that he wouldn't tell anyone if she gave him her name and will meet him the next day. The girl named Arivia agreed, utterly relieved. And that was the start of their story. At first, Demetrios was merely intrigued by the poor girl and Ari hated his guts. Demetrios tended to go with Ari whenever she left the city, grateful for the chance travel. It wasn't long until they developed an attraction to each other.
The youngest of the Fassbinder was quick to laugh and carefree and charming. He was a good soul, unfitting in a dark city such as Ravok. He refused to get involved with his families dirty secrets. Demetrios was also the one to convince Ari to find other ways to get the gold she needed, worried that his lover was involved with something dangerous. He also helped the Castalees when they were desperately in need, even when Ari disapproved, not wanting to owe him. Demetrios loved Ari deeply, willing to do anything and everything for her.
