OOCDon't worry about it! I've been gone a lot lately, too. It's hard to keep up sometimes! ^^; Sorry if my response isn't quite up to par- don't hold it against me, okay?
At the small suggestion, a secretive whisper in a musical voice, the bard's face lit up with excitement and intrigue. "I think I'd like to see that sometime, Kouri," she smiled. "I can't help but wonder what you can do." To think that the girl could be judged so! Avanthal was an accepting place; strangers were welcome in the Vantha's homes. Fubuki Kouri was a kind little spirit. How could she be outcasted for her tragedy? It almost made Lyrri want to leave this lonely place and never look back, run off in search of a friendlier world to perform for. Surely she would, when her flighty soul got sick of the city. But until then, she would smile for the two lovely children.
"What are you doing here, Lyrri? Sharing your beautiful music perhaps? Ehehe~"
Lyrri chuckled. "I'd hardly call it that- at least, not yet- but yes, I thought I'd try to brighten up the street a little. It's so grey and bleak here; I hope the music helped your moods!" As she spoke, she marked the ghost's trailing laugh, heard throughout the conversation but unnoticed 'til now. It matched the rest of Kouri's outward appearance- strange and unnatural, yet beautiful, once you took the time to listen. The eldest Vantha briefly wondered how it compared to the laugh of a younger, more innocent Kouri. There was a dim flash of teal.
"Where do you stay, Lyrri? Maybe we could visit you sometime~"
The previous train of thought was again forgotten. The bard grinned. "I'd love that," she exclaimed. "I live in the Dyres district, close to the north end. I could show you the way, though I'm not sure you'd like to spend a lot of time there; it's an awful little place, really." Lyrri laughed at the thought of her unfortunate little room; she hadn't done much more than sleep and eat there in the past season. It hid deep in the bowels of the citadel, a tiresome place that felt even worse in the summer. She was glad she was so content with the din of everyday life on the streets of Syliras; to stay in that musty old box all day was not worth the silence!
