22nd day of Summer,510 AV
Riding alone at night may not be the best idea for a girl in her state though stopping could mean that she will never ride again. Three days on horseback and another two on foot the journey is far from over. Not being well versed in cultures or in communicating she was lucky to have her "abilities" to aid her in dealing with merchants upon leaving Xy. One such dealing during the second day of her journey her gifts were used in exchange for a large Ravok Bloodmane. The only possession she had ever shed a tear over receiving.

The horse, the color of dried blood glimmered with sweat as he walked toward the city. Slowly reaching the city was a blessing and a curse in itself. Having left home for the first time only a few days before, no rest had yet comfort her weary head. The only rest for her new gelding came on the rare occasion when she had decided to walk to give her new horse some rest.

Walking up the path to the main gate the girl on the geldings back began to slide from her saddle. The exhaustion from her journey had caught up to her at last and as the main gate came into full view she slipped just enough to fall with a loud thud to the ground. The ground had broken her fall but her exhaustion was to great to awaken her. Her horse began to paw the ground nervously, not knowing what to do.

It was a night, pretty much like any other so far, and Elliot got his position fixed near the entrance to the city`s main gate, while gazing at the stars and turning his head around to inspect the surounding area from time to time. The wilderness did not scare him, even if he had no survival skills what so ever, he still was strong enough to at least run for his life if it was needed. It was just the beginning of a splendid night, so there was no rush, and there was more than enough time for laziness. His thoughts drifting off into the past, he no longer felt as if he was fixed on the ground, the feeling he had was best described as levitating in mid air, with ocassional thoughts taking him back into reality as if they were fresh sea waves, washing away everything in their path.

He was laying in the short grass for quite a bit before hearing something that was deffinetely not a common sound around this place, at least not for him. It was a loud noise of something falling, yet it was accompanied by the sounds of a horse. it was not much to go on, but never the less, it was still enough to poke his curiosity as he ran out onto the road, to meet the maker of this disturbing noise.

What he found was a rather sad sight, it looked as if a woman, and a young one for that matter was struggling to get up somwhere in the dust. Without a second thought Elliot ran up to the woman in question and kneeled next to her whispering slowly: "It`s all ok now, i`m not here to hurt you, don`t be afraid" he paused as much as a heartbeat before continuing: "Can you walk?" he was seriously concerned about the woman, even more so as it reminded him of a first time he was struggling to get to the city.

A ringing sound accompanied by stabbing pain, and the distant sound of a man's voice. But why was someone talking to her? The smallest of movements from her arm, followed by another jolt of pain. The man's voice again though this time with a tone to it she did not recognize. A bit disoriented she put her head up a bit to try and open her eyes. When she finally managed to open them a bit an unfamiliar face was staring at her.

Her first instinct was to run, to just be able to avoid contact with people. But her body was not going to be doing any running anytime soon. Another slight movement followed by yet another shooting pain. Fluttering pale green eyes finally managed to open fully. The answers to his questions could not be answered with words, no sound came from her lips.

Thinking carefully she thought how she would communicate with this man. Slowly reaching up with her right arm placing a delicate hand on his arm. With what little strength she had left she spoke softly, her voice little more than a whisper. "My name is Karea.." Laying her head back down she fights to get another breath. "The horse is, Briar. He bites.."Closing her eyes fighting to stay awake, she knows soon she will be dreaming.

Tressa had been taking a walk, Syliras was pretty desserted at night and it gave her the freedom to stretch her paws without judgemental stares. Her belongings had been stashed a ways up the street, safe from thieves and others of the sort. The night air was cool and a gently breeze shifted her moonlit fur. Pausing in her tracks she pricked her ears, she heard the voice of a man and the sounds of an obviously anxious horse. No, there was another also, the scent of a female played on the breeze. Tressa made her ways towards the three, moving slowly, stalking in the stealthy manner she naturally possessed. Her every foot step landed noiselessly upon the earth, her large frame slinking along like an oversized house cat and her tail gracefully moving in rthym to her every step.

She had no intention of approaching them, horses had a tendancy to dislike her and she was in no mood to go a round with a set of hooves. Instead she stayed back a ways, settling on her haunches to watch. Lazily her yellow eyes settled on them and she let out a long yawn ending in the unmistakable sound of a tiger's growl. From what she could see a man was assisting a collapsed woman and a large bloodmane stood off to the side. Vile creatures, horses. She thought bitterly, it's presence reminding her of the last horse she'd encountered and the pain of being kicked. Turning her attention to the woman Tressa observed her. She appeared to be Konti, perhaps not and the man reaked of human. Damsel in distress, hero and horse. How perfect. Tressa thought to herself. Perhaps she would drop in. After all it was too perfect of a scene to go untarnished. Just avoid the horse she told herself, glaring at it momentarily.

She wasn't sure if they'd noticed her, they didn't seem to have. Bringing herself back to her feet she stalked towards them again, closer and closer until she was only feet from them. Keeping her attention on the horse, she settled onto her haunches once more. She sat silently flicking her tail back and forth in a playful way.

So pretty.. Ranie thought to herself, gazing longingly at the stars above. Walking in the dead of the night, she brushed a few strands of slate grey hair behind an ear. The soft ring of her collar around her wrist fluttered around the little woman.

Taking a deep breath, she stopped and cocked her head slightly. She smelt a horse nearby... Nothing new. Another smell intrigued her though Hmmm..wonder... she muttered to herself taking a few steps closer towards the scents. Her bare feet made little noise as she glided across the ground, only the soft rustle of cloth and jingle followed her.

Rounding a corner Raine paused, crouching so as not to be seen. She found the source of horse smell. Bloodmane, a very handsome one at that. There was a woman on the ground next to the great beast, and a man kneeling with her. I wonder what they're doing...

Disregarding the people for a moment, she looked about with her keen blue eyes, searching until she saw the large white cat. Ranie started, causing another course of jingles, the hair on the back of her neck on end.

Elliot knew there were not many choices avilable, either he let`s her sleep in his tent or he gets her to a healer right away. It was not much to think about, as he picked her up cuddling her up next to his chest like an infant and leading the horse by holding to his mane with his right hand. The horse did not like him much, that was sure, as it tried to bite him too many times to count already, but even as the horse was uneasy up until that moment, the sudden nervousness that came from the horse the very next moment made Elliot let go off his mane and draw out his katana like longsword.

He thought he may have overreacted, but just in case, he shouted at the dark in front of him: "Who is it out there?" he paused briefly, not getting a response yet, he yelled yet again: "What do you want?" his thoughts were now somewhat paranoid as he was pretty sure there was someone or something out there in the dark. It was just too quiet, and the horse was too edgy.

Unsure what to do, he continued to tread the path with his sword still drawn out and only ocassionaly would he hit the horse with the blunt side to make sure he is following them. Elliot laughed a bit, for it truly was stupid, a moment ago he was so bored he could just fall asleep in the grass, and now he is litteraly holding an unknown life in his hands. The night was still young, and many things could happen before the dawn, Elliot closed his eyes praying to Zulrav in silence, he did not want to fail now, not here. Something moved in the nearby vicinity, and even if it was probbably an inisginificant sound, it still made him tremble as he turned at the dark, holding his ground, he was too afraid to go check it out, but he was too bound to the stranger to just run. He just stood there in wonder, hoping something good will happen.

Tressa shook her head, slapping the ground with her paw. Silly human, silly human. She had been right there, only feet from him and he had just passed her by. It amazed her how a race so dense could have survived so long. The horse on the other hand was quite aware of her, and in the darkness Tressa noticed another pair of eyes watching. A woman, her face painted she appeared scared? or maybe the reaction was shock and not fear, who knew. By the paint on her face and the jingling of a belled collar it was simple to figure out. A house cat in it's human form. First a storybook worthy rescue and now a house cat. Though he did seem sympathetic towards the fainted woman. Tressa found the whole thing amusing and it took her a moment to decide which way to go. Surely the other Kelvic would make better company, but the other two were interesting.

Turning towards where the man had taken the woman and the horse Tressa glanced back to where the cat Kelvic stood, as if to say come on. As silently as before Tressa bounded off after the three, keeping back enough that if the horse spooked she wasn't in the way. Defending herself would end with it's death and she wasn't in the mood to kill. Curiousity was her curse and playfulness was it's enabler. So many times had it gotten her in trouble and she was sure this time would be no different. Her bravery spiked for only a second or two and she swiped her paw at the horses back legs, carefully minding her claws. Injury wasn't intended. Retreating back her eyes fixed on the swaying of it's tail and she swiped towards it again. Resembling to anyone who might have seen, a large house cat playing with a string. A bit more disturbing, but it gave the same idea. Retreating quickly Tressa once again chose to stalk behind. I wonder where we are going. The horse had become obviously disturbed by her antics and the man had stopped. Deciding to further herself from the horse Tressa rounded them quickly, coming to stand before them in plain view and stare the man in the face with great yellow eyes.

Ranie shook her head, settling her nerves from the giant cat shock. Watching the other Kelvic bound after the Bloodmane made her giggle.

Don't leave me! she called, quickly checking her surroundings and springing back to her feet.

Deciding that it would be best not to run up like the other cat, due to size and her form, Ranie walked cautiously into the man's view. Not wanting to get too close to the sharp blade, she hung back a couple feet. Blue eyes bright and playful, she took in the entire seen: big cat harassing a horse, and scared man carrying a sleeping woman. Very interesting Had she been in cat form, her tail would have been swaying back-and-forth in excitement.

'Evening Sir.. she purred, mesmerized by the blade.

Withers trembled as new scents filled flaring nostrils. Fidgeting nervously the horse looked to his sleeping master for reassurance. When none was found he stepped between man and cat. Ears flicking from master to beast was the only sign of nervousness left. Rearing with front legs pawing the air he landed with a thud daring the cat to come to his mistress.

The commotion of what was happening made the girl begin to stir. "What's..going on.. Briar?" Opening her eyes she looked at the man carrying her. "Who,Where?" She began to ask. Frightened she tried to move as pain seared through every bone in her body. "Let me go, please.. My horse" She fought to get free even through the pain. [b]'Who are you? Where are you taking me?"

Tressa pulled back, her body arching into to a defenseve state, ready to pounce. A loud growl mixed hiss emerged from her as her ears folded back, her nose wrinkled and her mouth open, revealing deadly fangs. She didn't strike, but she held her ground, she didn't want to hurt the wretched beast, but she would, with no regrets if she had to. Circling the ground in front of them she continued to growl angrily, becoming more and more agitated at the situation. She was glaring now, every muscle in her body aching to lunge forward. She knew it would end badly and she wasn't willing to face the consequences. "I mean no harm" She said in a clearly agitated tone, her words ending in hiss like tones.
