Completed [Bronze Woods] Beary Interesting Grizzly Situation (Artur)

The bear looked utterly confused when Lyco rejected his offer, as evident by his widened eyes and gestures. Kouri giggled and just shook her head lightly "It's fine..." she then put her chin back to her knees and whispered under her breath. "Not I could anyway..." She didn't really pay it any thought if the bear heard her, she still think of him as a normal animal... well smarter than normal bears but still a bear. The other bear was visibly in a dilemma, on one hand, he couldn't resist the alluring honey that was just within arms reach, on the other hand, he was intimidated by the strange presence this tiny human emanated. It was clear to it that this was no normal human, perhaps she was one of those humans who could fire and lightning from their hands that often practiced here in the Woods. "Human? Cold? Light? Pale?" The bear could understand the second and the third, but he never heard of a cold human before, but nonetheless... if one of his brethren could be so close to this 'human', what's preventing him from eating with them as well? "Okay... thank you for the share" Assured by Artur that this girl was safe - not harmless, he just couldn't think that - the other bear approached Artur and began pulled one part of the hive, keeping his distance from Lyco. He ate in a similar manner such Artur, but the Kelvic was neater. Lyco watched the two bears eat and couldn't help but to actually try eating it... she focused the soulmist in her right index finger and dipped it to the honey, she then put the finger to her mouth and... just as expected, the honey stayed there in her mouth because well... Lyco only made her outer appearance like a human see? The part of her mouth that was supposed to go to the throat didn't exist, it was just a wall of flesh-clored soulmist. "Phoeey!" Lyco spitted the honey and hugged her knees again, she would love a good jar of soulmist or two right about now.

Relief came to Artur as he watched is wilder brethren at least give the mostly human girl a chance, though he definitely didn't drop his guard since she would hang around and nor would Artur for that matter. Like it or not this girl was one Artur would rather try and protect, rather then let some other animal maul her to pieces just because she didn't seem normal compared to other humans. Of course she wasn't normal! That didn't mean she wasn't human, just as Artur wasn't secretly a human as well. Well sort of human... He had a human form if that counted as being human, though the term Kelvic was a mystery to him all the same. He only knew that was what he was, just as it was what the rest of his race was called. Though not all Kelvics were bears, they came in all different forms and sizes actually. He has only met a few of course.

Artur did notice that the girl did try honey and glanced to see how she reacted to it, she showed no signs of like or dislike when she tried it but he figured she just felt left out. Which is the second reason why he did his best to scarf down the comb, the first was the fact he had another bear with him now and that put the girl at risk. He preferred to avoid risks. So he did his best to wolf down the remnants of his hive fragment, and considered himself done for time being. After all he could just look for another bee hive later when he didn't have another to think about.

"Well," he yawned a bit with a scratch at his furry belly, "Chilly and I are going to go now, enjoy the last of the honey brother." He said with the intention of parting, already on all fours with a bit of a pleading look to the little girl. "Please get on my back now so we can leave in peace." He still wanted to avoid the risk of the wilder bear doing something, being the coward he was when it came to violence, so the further away they got from here the better.

"Yeah... Thank you" The other bear just answered simply, he didn't understand on why his brethren could stand the chilling presence of the 'human', he even called her "Chilly", maybe he actually liked the cold, who was he to judge? The wild bear shrugged and pulled the last hive fragment to himself. Lyco stood up and flicked her hair, her face frowning a bit, something was up... this other smaller bear was very cautious of her while Kuma was very friendly, polar opposites. Most animals didn't dare to approach her in a friendly manner after all, they usually ran away or attacked her out of self-defense... woe befall those who chose the latter. Lyco was determined to prove her suspicion, she climbed up to Kuma's back and planned her next actions. The bear then continued walking, leisurely, enjoying the summer forest scenery. Lyco was in a sitting position and thinking hard, various thoughts on her mind Who is this bear? He must not be an ordinary one... No wild animals have approached me on their own before... the only ones that did were... her eyes widened in realization and she looked down to the bear she's riding on. Lyco bent down and put her face near Kuma's ears, whispering to him "Are you a Kelvic, Kuma?" Ordinary bears wouldn't understand and just continue on, but if he really was a Kelvic, he should had some interesting reactions to the sudden question. Then came the case on what if he was a Kelvic... oh no, did that mean he already knew she was not exactly human? But he was very friendly all along, that meant he wasn't afraid of ghosts. He would make a very good friend.

At last their getaway was a success, Chilly who he had taken to calling her got on his back and boy was it hard NOT to shudder once again. When they had went off Artur didn't slow to their leisurely stroll until he had decent distance put between them and the wild bear. That was when he felt safer then earlier, and he could finally relax knowing nothing threatened young Chilly whilst she rode him. She was actually rather quiet while she was on his back, in fact he didn't think she could get this quiet without good reason. Maybe the conversation he had with the other bear intrigued her, humans had a hard time understanding the comminucation between animals right? Or maybe it was the honey... "Did she not like it after all? What's got her so quiet now?" A crease in his brow formed as the bear continued to walk, he could hear the sounds of water somewhere nearby. What better time to make another stop than for a drink of water.

"Are you a Kelvic, Kuma?" He hadn't felt her body shift at all when she leaned in to whisper, but her ghastly words put a dead stop in his pace as his eyes popped wide. "How did she find out? Does she know about Kelvics?" Artur looked up over his shoulder with big brown eyes, and his surprised expression became a smirk. "You're a smart one Chilly, I was wondering when I would show you that little detail." He mentally admitted with the wish that she could just this once hear his thoughts, but intead he just gave her a verbal answer the best way he could. "Rurr!" He nodded when he said this, a signature to the fact that he admitted he was in fact Kelvic. Thus he pressed onward to the sound of water as he passed through pushes and overgrown grass, the undergrowth of the forest a minor obstacle for the bear to overcome. He trekked a little bit quicker down to the water but not by intention, the landscape had changed to a bit of a slope until he finally came near a river.

From there he didn't have any slopes to worry about, and so he just moved on closer until they got to the bank. Artur looked over his shoulder up to Chilly once more, the smirk still on his mug as he laid eyes on her. The bear patted a spot next to him with his front left claw as a sign for her to stand there, and after he knelt down on all fours Chilly had slipped off to stand in the spot he pointed. Just as Artur watched her she had taken watch him in this moment, because when Artur stepped back a few feet, he stood on his hind legs and went into the shift. A light shone bright that had enveloped the entire body of the bear, first his fur became highlighted then completely veiled by this random flash that died out no sooner then it came to life. In place was no longer a brown bear, but in fact the brown haired tubby man that Artur took form as a human. And of course he was in fact very nude before Chilly. "Surprised?" He scrutinized with a bit of a nervous chuckle. "How is it you're so cold?! No human I've touched, which I can admit I haven't really touched many humans at all, anyway no human has ever felt as cold as you!" He pointed out a bit excited as he knelt to his knees, brown eyes still on the ghost girl as he eagerly waited to hear an explanation.

"Ah..." The expression upon Lyco's face upon seeing the bear's reaction was a mix between anticipation and fear. On one hand, Lyco was very excited that Kuma was indeed a Kelvic, not an ordinary bear, that explained his very smart demeanor compared to normal bears. One the other, she was afraid that Kuma might found out something was not 'right' with her, especially since they had made so much physical contact. "...." She just kept silent and mumbled something intelligible as Kuma pressed onwards, seemingly excited by something. They arrived near the riverbank, Lyco obediently jumped down when Kuma told her to do so, but her hesitation was obvious to one that was not a simpleton. Her sapphire blue eyes went winced when Kuma transformed, she knew that when Kelvics transformed they would be... "Aaaaaah!" ...naked. Lyco's cheeks went flushed like a tomato, an interesting fact considering she had no bloodstream, and she looked away from him, crouching down on the ground. Kuma, in his human form, was all bare for her to see. She answered his first question with words, but just frantically shook her head "N-n-n-not really, I saw Kelvics transformed before my eyes in the past... b-but please put something on!" Lyco didn't turn around to face him yet, not until he gave her confirmation that his private bits were decently covered. "C-cold... oh yeah... cold..." The fact that Kuma still think of her as a human meant that her visual disguise was indeed, flawless. Lyco didn't want to answer directly and just gave him another question in return "W-what do you think I am? A-are you afraid of me? You don't find me... scary, aren't you?" Well... several questions in return.

oocTerribly sorry for the delay! There's a lot that calls my attention over in Zeltiva.

"That's odd," Artur's face dropped a bit when the girl blushed and turned away, "Did I blind her with my shift? No..." The reason became clear when she responded to his first remark, when he shifted he was proudly in his bare form unaware the girl was in fact like other humans. "Oh! Doy! You're naked man, gotta cover that area up somehow since she's uncomfortable." He looked around for something, anything that he could use, to cover the anatomy between his legs. Be he proud or not he should've remembered not all humans accepted nudity or weren't as open minded about it as he was. "Clothes are such a hassle nowadays, why do people always need another tto wear clothes." He moved around, looked at the ground, and still not a damn thing to cover the place the girl blushed about.

As he continued to look and search for something, again anything he could use,the girl answered his questions he asked just moments ago. "I think your a chilly human, even nicknamed you Chilly after you gave me Kuma!" He enthused back as he parted a bush to look continue looking, when he let the bush go back to it's same position after finding nothing useful an idea hit him. One that he thought pretty clever as he stared at the bush. "Noooo!" He bellowed almost sarcastically. "Why in Goddesses name would I be afraid of you?" He pointed out as he gripped the base of the bush, although he wasn't entirely all too strong he still had enough strength reserve to at least uproot a damn boosh. "You're adorably sweet and cuddly, and have a unusually cold body tempature that gives the chills. Therefore you are Chilly!" He cheered once more with grunts and a foot on the base of the tree nearby as he tuggged and tugged, until finally at last the ground gave way with a tearing sound until finally the bush came up roots and all.

He examined it's size once more now the shrubbery was free, and then felr convinced it was largely round enough to be the accesory he needed. Artur lowered the bush down to get a foot between the twigs and leaves, and eased it up as though it were nature's own underpants. Finally his waistline was covered with the bush to where the girl couldn't see anything but his upper body and legs as they poked through the bush. He still had to hold it in place of course, lest the useless thing fall off to show his bits once again. "Okay! I'm covered." He smirked triumphantly, a bit of a waddle as he approached the girl once more. "Do you have another name besides Chilly? I usually go by Artur, but I like when you call me Kuma. So only you get to call me that." He assured her with a cheery grin, brown eyes curiously locked on Chilly as he waited for her to turn around.

OOCIt's quite alright, Cloud. "Uuuu.........." Lyco whimpered and buried her face between her knees in embarrassment, the little ghost girl didn't mind any kind of physical contact with other females at all, but males were a very different matter to her. They have that odd... "thing" that just scares her, it was gruesome and was it actually alive? Lyco shuddered and didn't want to find out. She was like a Kelvic when dealing with other females to the point she seemingly had no sense of personal space, but was like a Nuits to males, very conscious of her personal space. "C-chilly?" Lyco, still keeping her face buried, was rather expecting that nick-name... but not exactly like that. She thought Kuma would call her "Cold monster", "frost abomination", or any other doomy nick-names. She didn't thought it was that cute. "C-chilly... ehehehe..." She giggled and lifted her head out of instinct and found Kuma rummaging through a bush, and thankfully, her vision was blocked by the bush. "Y-you are not... afraid of me? T-thank you..." She whispered, cheeks blushing, and mouth hidden by her knees. "Ehe... eheheh~" Lyco put her hands to her cheeks and shook her head from side-to-side bashfully, she was showered with compliments. She didn't thought anyone would call her cute or cuddly, especially when she could even intimidate a certain Myrian warrior, who was known for brutality and mastery in combat techniques. "Aw shucks..." Lyco blushed and punched the tree next to her out of embarrassment and joy. Good thing she didn't activate her soulmist projection or the poor tree could have a major crack in his trunk. "Hm? Okay~" Lyco stood up and happily trotted to Artur when his private bits were covered, his hands were obviously holding that strange bushy underwear though... wait, it was an actual bush. Lycoris just giggled at the strange, but effective, method of clothing. "Hmmm~ You can call me K-..." She stopped herself, she wasn't the white-haired ghost girl right now "Lycoris~ I'm Lycoris, Artur... ehehe, Kuma" She giggled and flicked her hair, the very long black strands billowing in the air. "So... shall we play?" OOCI think this should be my last post, Artur. We can leave the ending open with Kuma and Chilly chilling out in the Woods! oocYeah this will be our wrap up post for me. Two pages is a generally good sum of posts to write anyways. I'll have it turned in after this too. Great fun writing with you!

Artur had taken notice of her giggles when he rummaged around for his "natural" underpants he could wear temporarily, and even more so enjoyed the fact Chilly stood up and trotted closer when he gave the word. "Lycoris huh? I like Chilly better." He admitted in silence as he listened to her asking about playing, the bear let out a hearty chuckle afterwards as he knelt down so the bush can sit on the ground. His anatomy area she blushed and hid from so easily still remained covered when he did so, but before he would do.anything else he would respond to her question. "Sure! I can play with you for a bit." He nodded with a big smile, and then wiggled out behind the bush to keep her from seeing the waist area. "I swear people will one day except nakedness like it's the new habit when- ah!" He slipped and fell on his back as a branch of the bush caught one of his heels, and hit the ground with a thud and groan as he laid there for several chimes.

Chilly was nice enough to ask if he was okay, but after an "Ouch," finally came out she just found herself unable to not laugh. Finally the bear got to his feet and hands in a crouched position with a few grunts, and as he watched Chilly he grinned at her just before he shifted. First his hair and skin began to show increased highlights until finally the flash followed, and then veiled him completely as he was no longer human anymore. The bear Lycoris saw earlier had taken shape once more as the light dulled down to highlights one more, and then finally died to show the natural shades of the bear as he stood on all fours. "Well let's go then!" He cheered enthusiastically, already forgetting the girl couldn't speak bear. When he approached her once more, he knelt down for her to climb up, and when she did so the two were off for another stroll through the forest.
