Kylar has a rather intimidating figure with his muscular physique and large frame, however since he is nearly always seen smiling and joyous next to no one is intimidated by him. Kylar keeps himself in prime physical condition so he maintains a good public eye and for his long hours at an operating table. He exercises frequently, in the form of a long run through the town late at night or early in the morning. He has a messy crop of dark brown hair that is rarely combed or brushed but is kept so short that it never gets in the way. Kylar's brown eyes are bright and alive with wit and knowledge, but they are often clouded in thought. Kylar possesses a remarkable desire to grin and strike up a conversation with just about anyone, even at the most inoppritune of moments. Kylar has a habit for wearing darker than normal clothing; wearing tight shirts and pants that hug his body, but maintain a loose fit.

Kylar is a decietful and mercurial person. On the surface his personality often shifts so he can be accomodating to whoever he is talking with; he can be a conspirator, an eager listener, a joker. It doesn't matter who he is, its all about how people view him. In fact keeping his personal image and his public view untarnished and pristine is the reason Kylar strives to be the best and most reputable in any field he sinks his teeth into. This is the reason Kylar often wears nice clothes, keeps his body physically fit and why he rarely turns down a patient even if he knows he can't help them. His desire – lust - to better himself has led Kylar to use people and ditch them when he's done, because of that he has almost no friends.
Instead of having to deal with the struggles and complexities of friendships and social interactions, Kylar balances his free time with books, contemplation, practicing medicine and practicing morphing. While he is often lost in thought or just the emptiness of a tangent, he disguises it well by maintaining a sly smirk, casually shuffling his brother's deck of cards or spinning a scalpel between his fingers. Kylar is also very passionate when it comes to his specific fields of knowledge. Rarely is he silent when he could otherwise be imparting his knowledge upon the uneducated masses, however often this knowledge is imparted while drunk at a tavern. He finds it remarkable how the human body – how any body – works and is fascinated with the intricacy of an organsim and the practical uses such simple aspects have.
Kylar isn't all theory and thought. His medicinal practice consumes his attention as he fills his days with patients and sketching. Kylar attempts to memorize everything he comes across so he can sketch it down and catalogue its use in his sketch book. The study of anatomy and cataloging how each human body is unique fascinates him, he often uses this knowledge with the combination of his morphing magic to experiment on himself. Kylar studies his magic in secret, often morphing into his patients and looking at himself in the mirror, watching how they look and documenting the differences between them and himself. His studies and practices have shown him that if he kept this up and if he studied the anatomy of other creatures, of anything, he could become the 'perfect' being.
