[Soothing Waters] Boredom

Postby Ever Indio on August 3rd, 2013, 8:17 am

Ever groaned slightly as she sat with her face resting against a table. Everyone that had came in had wanted to see the doctor leaving her with nothing to do. No-one had came in wanting bandages changing, or wounds simply cleaning and treating, and no-one had needed their medication.
So Ever had began to grow bored! She needed something to do before she began messing around with the things that were in the Soothing Waters. It would probably have been far easier if she'd had the skills to become a doctor! Then everyone would want to see her and boredom wouldn't have a chance to set in!
Sighing, she picked her head up from the table and began singing softly as she wound a finger in her orange hair.

[Soothing Waters] Boredom

Postby Baragul on August 4th, 2013, 2:02 am

Baragul walked in the door of the soothing waters with a large cut on his hand. He had been stupid and hurt his hand playing with some orphans in the roads. His sword had pinched his hand between it and a wall giving him a nice cut. He walked to a woman sitting at a table she looked bored but trying to keep her mind active. He presented his hand to her and gave her his story. Asking if she could bandage it for him he would greatly appreciate it. "Ill pay if you need me to or I can work around the building whatever you want" The pain was not all that bad just a cut it stung somewhat but it would not scar or anything thank the heavens he would hate to have a scar from something as silly as pinching his hand on a sword. He lowered his head in disappointment with himself expecting the woman to laugh at him at any moment.

[Soothing Waters] Boredom

Ever almost jumped out of her skin as a man entered. It wasn't something she had been expecting, but it was most welcome occurrence and she couldn't help but grin slightly. As the man told her his story, she inspected his hand to see if it posed any possible difficulties, but there didn't appear to be any... The cut wasn't too deep and would require the doctors expertise, and no infection had settled in.
"It would probably be best if you just pay, I mean, it isn't too experience and you can hardly help much if I tell you to rest your hand!" she said with a grin as she gestured for him to sit in a chair. "It'll cost about fifteen silver mizas, and if you wish for your injuries to heal quicker, I'd advise you to rest and possibly buy some Krolar Poultice?" she said with a cheerful smile, before grabbing what she would need. A bowl of water and a sponge to clean the area around the wound, and a bandage to dress it.
"I never got your name? I'm Ever!" she said looking at the man.

Baragul laughed at the girl she seemed so happy to be treating his tiny cut. "My names Baragul and ill pay you whatever you need I just dont want it to scar up". At that moment he realized that he was really conceited about how he looked, oh well I make it work he shrugged it off and grinned to the girl reaching for his coin purse he dropped 15 silver mizas on the table. "You sure that will be enough mam? I would hate to cheat you out of your money" Again smiling Baragul loved meeting new people everyone he met was like a entire other facet on life itself. Except the Nuit that was a bit different. As she treated his hand Baragul watched and as she nearly finished he asked why she was so happy just to bandage a hand?

Ever nodded as the man told her his name before placing money onto the table. "Trust me, it's enough. You're wound isn't deep or large and therefore doesn't need expert care, it is still rather clean with no sign of infection yet so it doesn't require any ointments, so all the material that will be needed is the bandage and water to clean away the dirt." she said with a smile.
Then she gently took his hand and checked the cut again, before using a damp sponge to wipe away the dirt, before taking the bandage and gently yet firmly wrapping it around his wound making sure that it would prevent any dirt getting into the wound. She heard the man and smirked slightly as she tied the bandage in place.
"Well, it's been a rather dull day, and you're the first person I have been able to treat, you see... And the more people I treat, the more experience I get. But then there is always just that feeling of helping other people and stuff like that!"

Baragul smiled and said he loved making people happy. "working with a blacksmith is the best for me i hand someone a shiny new metal sword fresh off the anvil there face glows like the embers in the forge". It was one of Baragul's favorite part of being a blacksmith. He thanked her for letting him be her first patient of the day and that he hoped she would find some new customers pretty soon though he was not sure if wishing someone needed to see a doctor was a good idea. Again he laughed having a grand ol' time getting a cut bandaged was a bit masochistic but since he stopped being so introverted the smallest of conversations has become great fun for Baragul.
If there is anything I can do with you for the future Ever just tell me im sure you wont have a problem finding me. He smiled and said his goodbyes to the sweet woman hoping he could see her again one day.

Evercouldn't help but smile at the man as he spoke about the joy he got from giving someone their sword. It must have been really hard, working as a blacksmith... And it must be pretty dangerous too!
"The smiles on their faces are priceless, something that just brightens up the whole day!" she said with a slight giggle as she watched the man as he wishe that she would get more patients and laughed.
Then she heard him say that if she ever needed help in the future she should tell him.
"I might just take you up on that! Anyway, I hope that your cut doesn't hinder you at all!" she said, waving goodbye to him as he left before she sat back down in her chair
