Open [Soothing Waters] Does that need wound need cleaning?

2nd Summer, 513 10th Bell Ever sighed slightly as she sat... It was her first day on the job and it wasn't exactly the most exciting of jobs! Then again, it wasn't too late in the day, and she just needed someone a wound that needed cleaning, or something like that! She needed the experience! What she really wanted to be was a Doctor, not a Doctors Assistant! But she wasn't yet skilled enough for something like that, and she had seen this job as a good way of introducing herself into that trade! She'd heard that Doctors were well paid as well, so all she do was hope to climb the ladder and see where it took her... And if she couldn't get to be a Doctor, she would try to become a midwife! Softly, she began singing to herself, waiting for someone to need her attention... Maybe a wound she could clean, or a patient she could take care of... Feeding them, giving them their medication... Even directing them to the doctor! That would all be something to do...

[Mie]

Mie sat in her room at the Purple hog inn, watching the barmaid cleaning the tables from the night before with an old, but clean rag. She clenched her fist, and made a grimmaced as she did so. It had been a good couple of days since she cut herself but the wound was not healing up as she had hoped. The wound was turning an odd color and it was beginning to ooze a bit. When it happened she had been skinning a rabbit when the knife slipped and dug into the palm of her hand. She had thought nothing at it at the time, as the wound wasn't too deep but now she paid for her carelessness.

She stood up and decided that she couldn't ignore it any longer and nodded shorty to the barmaid that she had gotten to know relatively well, well enough to know that she would get off at mid day to shop for her father, and walked out the door. The sun was shining, leaving the people of syria and a comforting warmth and she appreciated the beautiful day. Her hair was waving slightly at a weak breeze that blew trough the buildings.

As she turned the corner of a larger street she went into a smaller alley where a medics clinic was placed and stopped for a moment to collect her thoughts and calm her fear of them before going inside. She looked around the room, getting a feel for it before turning to the girl inside "Hello.. I cut my hand, and it looks bad.. How much for a fixing?"

Ever smiled slightly as she saw a customer enter, then listened to the woman carefully. She stood up and walked to the woman to take a look at her hand, inspecting it for anything nasty that could have been nasty!
"Well, I don't think it's too serious, so I won't get the doctor, and if I treat it it'll be around one gold miza and six silver? Is that an alright price?" she asked, letting go of the womans hand. "The cut isn't that deep, and the infection doesn't seem to be too serious. So, would you rather I treated it, or the doctor?" she asked before glancing around the room, noting what with be needed for the disinfection and bandaging of the wound.
It wouldn't be a long procedure...

Mie cringed as the girl touched around her infected area and had to fight the urge to pull the hand back. The warm waves of pain shot out from it. She looked at the wound as if she expected it to pulse like she felt but it was just there, a sore reminder of her own clumsiness. She nodded as the girl gave her a price.

"That'll be fine for me.. Better that then the alternative right?" She gave off a nervous laugh. She wasn't too fond of doctors, but she had heard horror stories of people failing to get small things checked out and ending up dead or with a lost limb "I just want it to get fixed as fast as possible, If you can do it that will be fine by me, where should I sit?"

Ever couldn't help but smile smile slightly as the girl nodded at the price, then agreed to let Ever treat it. It wouldn't be complicated and it wouldn't take her too long to do, so the girls willingness to allow Ever to treat it and avoid disturbing the doctor would be perfect! The doctor could remain on his more challenging patients while Ever got the experience she so desperately needed.

She pulled a chair away from the corner of the room and placed it in front of her own, before gesturing to it. "There would be fine." she spoke warmly before checking around the room and grabbing a few things... A bowl of water, a towel, a bandage, and a small bottle of something that would help to rid of the infection.
"Ready?" Ever asked

Mie nodded at the girls gesture and sat down on the chair that was given to her. She didn't feel relaxed at all, and her muscles stiffened. The smell of disinfectant in the room did nothing to calm her nervers;: She watched Ever closely as she gathered the thigns she was gonna use on her.. In just a moment.. On her.. She tried to push the feeling of dread away but it was right in front of her, and it was probably gonna hurt like hell.

Ready? She asked.. Mie wanted to scream no and run out of the room, but that would do her no good. Instead she swallowed hard and nodded with a weak ”Yes.. Ready” She held out her hand to Ever agian, focusing her sight on something, anything than her hand, and was Ever was going to do to it. It was a small distraction but perhaps enough for her not to panick too much. She found a small flower on a table to fix her gaze on and prepared herself mentally for the girl to fix her up.

Ever watched the girl for a few moments, before getting to work, dampening the towel to clean away the dirt from the wound, being careful not to hurt the girl too much, before she carefully grabbed the bottle of liquid. "This will probably sting a bit, just keep being brave!" she said with a soft smile on her featured, before she poured some of the liquid onto the towel, then held it to the girls wound for a few moments as she grabbed the bandage and moved the towel out of her way as she swiftly bandaged the wound.

"All done now!" she declared with a smile as she tied off the bandage. "If any dirt gets under your bandage, come back for a new dressing!"
