Well said, Accolade. I couldn't agree more. ST's always have their plates full and I do believe it's important PC's check each other too. You don't need to be a moderator to help out. Just keep yourself refreshed on lore and make sure your criticism is always constructive. Like Acco said, we're all here to write and have a good time. Just a little more vigilance is in order. Oh, and appreciate the storytellers a bit more too! A lot more goes on behind the scenes than we realize!

Thank you, Orion, Accolade, everyone. I was unwise and it would not happen again in the future.

Now... for the future in handling "Criminal" PCs in Syliras, Mazal proposed a great idea, it was stemmed from Accolade's PC hunt quest.

Everytime the person commits a major crime you can post it up, reward for such an such. Was seen by a civilian on this candle mark wearing this garb, and set up bounties for players to catch this guy and highlight a cool reward etc.

Plus if you set it up that way it's aforementioned the city guard is on watch and should he stick himself out in the open the guards have reason to detain the culprit

I feel like it gives everybody a solid chance but should they continue commiting crimes etc it will catch up to them

This means that if a PC does enough crimes in Syliras, word will got out and a bounty would be put on their head. Everyone is eligible to participate in the hunt for said PC, but it would not mean said PC could not escape or resist arrest.

This is a consequence that must be received if a criminal PC wishes to continue doing shenanigans in Syliras, if one or more players took the quest, that means the wanted PC must participate in it, no wriggling it out of it OOC-ly, you have to gain it IC.

The person with the bounty on their head DOESN'T have to participate in a thread/threads where others hunt them. It's their right to refuse, however in doing so there will be consequences IC and OOC, such as players not wanting to thread with them, or mods not wanting to write with them.

We believe that this is a fair compromise.

It's a really good idea, I like it..since I was already doing that XD. There haven't been many major crime in the city much, but the one's that have gotten out of hand are already on the board. I do find it strange though, out of all the players who sign their PCs up as mercenaries in the employment office, none of them ever try for these bounties.

But that's another story (chicken) but on to the thing about the bounty thread or threads. OOC-ly, as much as I want to do that, but Kouri (along with Rena and Kriemhild) are leaving for Sunberth at the 70th of Summer. From there, she would go to Sahova to explore Kriemhild's past and... meet Vick!

IC-ly, Kouri would refuse to do the fake "capturing" as she wanted to go and are not quite interested in the reward (She got her share from doing mercenary jobs with Razkar).
