This forum is an OOC forum for PCS and Organizations to work out plans in hardcopy. Each PC or Organization gets a single thread where their players can help work out plans for their PC. Quests, mini-sagas, and Trips can all be organized here as well working out timelines and points of travel and things PCs need to do along the way. Each PC however gets only one Plotnote for their individual PC. Groups get one as well. There is no limit on individuals posting saga or trip plotnote threads. Please denote [PC Plotnotes] or [Group Plotnotes] or [Quest/Trip/Saga Plotnotes] when titling your threads.

-Return to Zeltiva.
-Join up with the Martial Society.
-Establish contact with other mages in the city.
-Attempt to form a secret society of mages. As in actually a secret and not just sorta.
-Gain influence in the city through both the Martial Society and her little group.

Magical Projects


Anna is very much a wizard at the core of her being, no matter how much she might grow to hate that fact it remains true. Her affinity for the arcane was what started her down her dark path and her ability to grasp and understand arcane methods boarders upon prodigal. This is where projects she has planned for undertaking will be listed, anyone that might wish to assist her can feel free to PM me about it. The projects will be by disciplines and listed in different categories.

Reimancy


Rank: MASTER

The Reimancer has mastered the four elements. Res control is almost effortless and they can produce larger amounts. Zone of control is basically limited to what they can see, and the speed at which their Res can get there.

Anna has mastered all four elements and as such possesses considerable destructive power, to the degree where she has started to have to limit her own outputs to avoid causing too much destruction. Master Reimancers are those that can rend the ground with a whim, breed maelstroms on command, wreath a forest in flames, or create tornados. While they can destroy, the elements can also create though as evidenced by the construction of the Sahovan Citadel through geomancy. Fire can grant warmth and life, air can push a ship along the sea, water can provide sustenance, and earth shelter and protection.

 
Destructive
One should not make the mistake of believing Anna to be a mere research wizard, she is most certainly a battle wizard in her own way. A high number of her spells were obviously created with combat in mind, though she rarely will use more than what in needed to dispatch a target. At her level of skill the spells she uses are really just limited by her imagination. Its rare to see her use massive area of effect spells though when she does the effects are usually devastating to both the enemy and the landscape.

The Para-Elements


Reimancy possesses a number of powerful combinations of the prime elements to create what are known as Para-Elements. A Para-Element is when two or more elements work together in tandem to create a new form, such as fire and air being combined to create lightning. There are near limitless possibilities to explore in regards to the reimantic Para-Elements, the combinations could very well be taken to a level beyond the imagination.

The goal here would be to discover a number of the Para-Elements as well as possibly look into ways of combining the Para-Elements themselves, to go beyond the conventions of what most reimancers should be capable of. It is even possible that with mastery in the art and enough trial and error research that the Ultimate Para-Element might become clear. This would ideally by a combination of all four elements working together in harmony, the results being unknown to any reimancer either modern or Pre-Valterrian and could jump the art forward by leaps and bounds. Anna herself wishes to separate herself from even other Master Reimancers and become a living legend unto herself, to go where no other has dared to go before.

Below is a list of the Para-Elements that Anna has mastered control of.

-Lava (Fire + Earth)
-Lightning (Fire + Air)
-Ice (Air + Water)
 
Constructive
Reimancy can destroy but it can also shape and mold, create and shift. Anna is a servant of chaos and thus destruction is mostly what she undertakes, however she recognizes basic uses for it as far as construction goes. At the moment she lacks the architectural mindset to build from purely reimancy, though slowly she is starting to branch out into this field.

Geomancy for Construction


Anna's main goal is to learn to properly find ways to build and shape structures from reimancy, to learn how to bend and twist the world to suit her whims. As such she has started to try to understand how basic architecture works and functions. She will spend a good deal of time building up structures and improving upon them, as well as carving into places to see how they work. Her goal her is to learn how to possibly create what she needs herself and to shape the earth itself into her shelter.

Below are a list of projects Anna intends to undertake in the course of this.

-Learn how free standing structures are created, how they collapse, and how to shore them up.
-Learn how to properly carve into existing terrain, understand how dimensions and structural integrity come into play.
-Build into a cave outside of Sahova itself, a little lair into a Cliffside someplace.


Glyphing


Rank: MASTER

Very complex uses. Control and flexibility have become very high, and the wizard can try to trap and modify even powerful hostile magic. Items and scrolls are works of art that can combine multiple disciplines beautifully. Triggers are very sophisticated, like "when a blood relative of mine burns this on the 55th day of spring in an odd year while nobody is watching". Runes are drawn at incredible speed, in just seconds.

Anna has attained a masterful understanding in the field of Glyphing, granting her a deep understanding of how magic itself might be changed. Her work in Sahova focus' mostly on harnessing destructive purposes but she is learning far more methods of using it exist. Through its use and combination with other magic's she believes she can warp the very rules of magic. This tool in her arsenal is arguably far more formidable than her Reimancy, certainly it has the potential to possess much more far reaching consequences.

 
Destructive
Weapons


Anna's primary research within Sahova is geared towards the research of and implementation of weaponry crafted through Glyphing. Recently she has shifted her focus away from more personalized forms of weapons and towards those that can cause widespread destruction.

The Family


Keeping a record of Anna's family and their status.

Direct Family


Liana Marin: Anna's Mother, former server at the World's End Grotto currently a ghost residing in Zeltiva. Her death was during the plague in Zeltiva. Loves her daughter fiercely but is not a fan of her new found faith in Rhysol. Her side of the family is mostly small time merchants and laborers. However there was a bit of magic in the blood going a bit further back.

Farik Marin: Anna's Father, a former dockworker who died during the plague in Zeltiva. He was a quiet man who wished the world for his daughter. His family possesses a long tradition in the Wave Guard, one he broke away from.

Unnamed Sibling: Anna's younger sibling, haven't decided to have had them dead or what and the name is subject to change. On the one hand it might be interesting to keep that connection around, on the other I'm not sure where he would fit in. Joined the Wave Guard? Studied Magic at the College like Anna? What relationship would they have had? Interesting plot perhaps... will keep in mind for the future.

Other


Velia: Definitely a big part of Anna's history, especially the events before her betrayal. Haven't quite decided if I'd ever want to take her into present RP, possibly tracking her to Sahova looking for revenge? Looking for answers? Again haven't really decided.

Ryleth: Name subject to change but he was the man who initiated Anna into Reimancy, definitely an important character. Anna has likely far outstripped him, though him being an Arcane scholar its possible Sahova might be a feasible destination for him. Would be interesting, the Student becoming the Master sort of thing. Keep him in mind.

Society Idea


Sahova taught Anna one important thing, that a number of mages working towards the same goals can accomplish great things. However the Citadel is mired by politics and the goals of a long dead civilization. In her mind this makes it obsolete. As such she figures it might be a good idea to try and seek out mages beyond Sahova, to use what she learned there to try and get a group together.

It wouldn't exactly be much of a guild or proper organization, more of an association of wizards and their apprentices. A group that can perhaps help each other out with projects or in understanding the ways of magic itself. NOT a wide spread organization that spans multiple cities, just a neat little thing. A collaboration of research between mages for the sake of their own mutual gain. Or even just a thing where mages can have a place to actually talk with people who understand their art, to bounce ideas around while sipping expensive wine. Think less, hooded figures standing in a semi-circle around a dimly lit candle and more guys in suits sitting in a well furnished room, chatting away about this or that.

A couple of points to make in the initial idea stage.

-No leader- What this means is that there is no 'Archmage' or all controlling 'Master'. Important matters and decisions would be handled democratically and disputes between individual wizards are handled by those wizards.

-Joining process- Requires the sponsorship of an existing member. Essentially a member would need to be scoped out. If they look suitable they might be offered to join if an existing member thinks they might mesh well and that they are trustworthy. It also helps to figure out if the person is likely to stick around or not since it would require at least two or three full threads to let them in.

-Secrecy- Most mages tend not to vocalize their abilities to the general population. Magic is dangerous, strange, and rightfully feared. As such it is important that knowledge of the society be kept among members. The group isn't trying to spread knowledge or alleviate notions after all, or subvert governments.

-Shared Knowledge- The most difficult bit of all when it comes to mages. The point being is that everyone would have to be willing to openly share their knowledge with other members. However, sharing is a two way street. It doesn't mean one can simply take and take and give nothing back. Such actions would be frowned upon. Its not a school, its not a teaching course, its a gathering of like or even unlike minds.

Just a rough initial sketch of something I've had tossing around in my head for a bit. Likely Anna herself would want to use it as a means of learning about other magics, sharing what she knows as a means of getting more power. Of course corrupting wizards is rather more useful than your average joe, so it would serve her religious goals rather well.

Faith Threads


I'll keep a record of those threads where I have Anna display faith to this or that deity, such as Rhysol for instance. This is just so I have them ready in once the time arrives for her to try for her second mark. Some might get replaced with threads that are better and show faith more concretely.

Rhysol


Action of faith towards Rhysol are characterized by actions of deception, causing places or groups to be thrown into chaos, heartless acts of evil, and betrayal of friendship, trust or hope given to his followers. Naturally to receive his greater gifts, a servant must exemplify these unholy virtues and stand out among many.


1. Rekindled Interest- In which Anna lies and manipulates her way into Kouri's good graces.
2. Of Blades and Magic- In which Anna spins Rhysol in a positive light to Kouri, and turns her against those who follow Sylir.
3. Appointments Kept- In which Anna gained the trust of a prisoner, only to shatter it.
4. Treachery- In which Anna lies her way into continuing to live and takes starts taking the advantage in her relationship with Fubuki Kouri.
5. Board Exams- To cover her own losses Anna betrays Fubuki Kouri and lies to a board of Sahovan masters.
6. Binding the Undying- Anna creates only a single Grand Oath to bind Kouri and forges a fake one to trick the child.
7. Consquences- Anna's lies culminate in getting Fubuki Kouri to bind herself by a Grand Oath, as well as convincing the girl that she was bound as well.
8. Fetch, Girl, Fetch!- In which Anna reveals her treachery to Kouri and spins further sweet lies to bring the child further under her control.
9. Violet Frost- In which Anna further attempts to corrupt Kouri and implant Rhysol in her mind.
10. Into the Heart of the Kierra Doma- In which Anna abandons a friend, remains faithful to Rhysol despite being argued against it by a physical manifestation of her doubt, and tricks and betrays the old Heartlands Initiate.
11. Only Lhex Knew- Anna betrays Edreina's trust and takes her as her slave.
12. Rhysol's Divine Connections Thread- A few prayers there if applicable.
13. Defiance and Punishment- In which Anna attempts to break and corrupt the mind of Edriena, a marked of Yahal.

(Will add to as I discover more quirks when writing Anna)

-Despises wearing robes or formal wear.
-Enjoys working with her hands.
-Likes meditating.
-Believes that Personal Wizards are inherently more spiritually strong than others.
-Is a racist to some degree. (Views Kelvic as little more than pets, Pycon as moving dolls, and Zith as semi-beasts. Is somewhat more tolerant of Nuit and Eypharian.)
-Prefers to either wear sandals or go barefoot when possible.
-Very casual about sexual relations.
-Has crippling difficulty with connecting with someone emotionally.
-Gets an itch on the back of her neck when talking about affection and love.
-Has a soft spot for blondes, artists, and those afflicted by illness.
-Fears spiders.
