A million thoughts exploded in the Kelvic's mind at once. Her human mind did not bring the clarity that Ardea found within her feral self and a familiar tug behind her naval encouraged her to buckle, to give in to the primal urges that hung over her like a persistent storm cloud. Who would notice? The only one near her was Vanari and she knew, of course. Not yet. A single, gentle voice at the back of her skull was the only thing keeping her from tearing all her clothes off at the very instant and transforming. Pausing, she inhaled and exhaled gradually, counting the ticks in her head, measuring her heartbeats... There. A centre of tranquility, a moment of clarity within the intrusive thoughts and overhanging urges.

Still taking gradual breaths, the Kelvic reached behind her and pulled an arrow silently from her quiver. However she did not notch this one into her bow. No, the woman moved nonchalantly over to the writhing- What was it, anyway? Ardea crouched, breezeless, then, with one swift, clean motion, she plunged the arrow into, what appeared to be, its gills. The creature became limp almost instantaneously. It had not been meant for land, that much was evident, its grotesque features did not seem to be of this world. Having ended the ungodly being's suffering, the Kelvic retrieved her arrow from the creature and, wiping the tip on the cloth of her shirt, slipped it back into her quiver.

Ardea's placid demeanour persisted, despite the eeriness of their location. In fact, for a moment, she appeared so emotionless, so outwardly plain, that she did not seem human. Human, I am not. She rose deliberately, without stepping back from the creature's body. Now her face was but mere inches from her companion's, so close that she could feel Vanari's warm breath tickling her lips. Their eyes met. Something about Ardea was out of place, the Kelvic was eyeing the Vantha not unlike a hawk would eye an injured mouse nor a wolf a solitary deer. Her upper lip twitched, rolling up to reveal pointed, gleaming ivories. A malicious gleam formed in her blazing eyes, a potent reminder: 'I am not tame'.

The tigress inhaled one long, drawn-out breath. Abruptly, she paused, her breath stopped midway. For the longest tick, Ardea stood, appearing almost statuesque. Then, finally, the gleam that had glazed over her eyes crumbled and she took an exaggerated step backwards. This place... Isn't natural. The woman was uncertain what had come over her, the overwhelming nature of the situation or... Something else... Shaking off the prickling sensation that once more crawled along her spine, she averted her gaze to the woods beside them. It was quite clear in her mind now, she had to shift. Her unspoken dispute with the Myrian seemed trivial now, compared with this place. The extra vision, the enhanced scent, the refined hearing, she would need them, here. Now.

Besides, the Myrian wouldn't immediately identify her as the suspicious copper-haired woman that had been following her around earlier. The assumption would be illogical, perhaps she could pass herself off as a wild tiger or- Vanari. Petch. If Kaie saw Vanari perfectly content beside a tiger and the lithe woman missing, she'd surely connect the dots, either that or the formidable woman would just attack the seemingly wild tiger. Screw it. This is more important than a menial case of mistrust towards a race.
"Don't move." Ardea's voice was unexpectedly hushed, a whisper on the breeze, carried smoothly to her friend's earlobe.

In a single, fluid movement, she turned towards the looming, ominous tree-line, the silhouettes of the towering pines illuminated by the gentle glow of the moonlight. Within a matter of ticks, she had disappeared entirely from view, darting into the undergrowth with a natural grace. Once she was sure that she was entirely alone, she removed her clothes and other assets, placing them neatly inside a log and moving a couple of stones to mark the log, so that she could find them later. Hoping that Vanari wouldn't manage to find trouble in the short space of time that she was absent, she moved into the middle of a nearby clearing, shrouded by trees.

Her naked, snow-white skin seemed to reflect the illuminating caress of the moonlight. Every muscle was now visible, each of them quivering as quickened breaths shook her body. Vulnerable now, but alive too. In a haze of blinding, swirling lights, the woman was replaced with a muscular tigress. However, this was no ordinary tigress, the stripes that graced her majestic form were like little, perfectly formed veins of gold running through an enormous, feline-shaped amber rock. Breathing in a lungful of sweet air, Ardea embraced the return of all of her heightened senses. Muscular, stocky legs guided her through the dense forest much faster than her two-legged form.

Emerging from the shadows of the tree canopy and back onto the shore, the mighty tigress paused once more. This time, her powerful maw hung open, tasting the scents that the breeze carried. Rounded ears stood alert upon her crown, listening for abnormalities it in pattern of the wind.
Thud. Thud. Thud. Scrape. Thud. Scrape. Scrape. Thud. Hiss. It took a thoughtful moment for the feline to dissect the noises from one another, one was almost definitely the distinctive thud of hoofbeats against the unyielding undergrowth, the other... Ardea couldn't be sure, but whatever it was, it had come from the other side of the lake, where Jervis and Kaie had gone to investigate. Had they found something?

Just when she was beginning to become victimized by her frustration at the lack of evidence, something hit her. It assaulted her senses in its obviousness. This trace, this mark, was not visual. It was a sound. A very distinct sound. The Myrian skid to a sudden stop in the middle of her stalk, bare feet digging into the dirt. She crouched low into the thickets. Watching. Listening for more. Until it came again. Hooves upon the ground. A steady rhythm approaching the center where the lake resided. It wasn't far from her position at all. I've got you now...

Kaie took off then like a bloodhound after a scent. Feet moved quickly across the forest floor, stepping gracefully over roots and other forms of undergrowth. She was careful to avoid leaves and twigs that would break and crackle beneath her feet. The hunter would not be heard by the prey so easily, she was sure of that. The civilized mask she wore in front of the others had vanished. Disappeared so notably from her face that it was if it had never existed. Like she was once again the savage within the jungle, a nightmare in the civilized world. Her eyes were a darkened brown, lost of any softness falsely conveyed by the chocolate color during the daytime. Kaie's soft features were once again doubling with natural intensity as she embodied the ferociousness of her race. With her gladius at her side, Myri alone could pull her from her trance. "Take no quarter," she heard a voice growl directly into her ear. And she obeyed.

It wasn't long before the Myrian found the tracks the hooves had left on the dirt. She turned on her heel and followed them until they meshed with the salt before the lake. Just before she exploded into the open, growling and searching wildly for the rider, she paused at the treeline. That's when the savage saw her. The Ethfael standing beside the white and black painted horse. Both with their back to her.

The predator's eyes narrowed and her lip curled on one side to reveal her teeth. She didn't look so unlike the companions her clan kept close in the Jungles of Falyndar. The vicious Myrian Tigers they rode into battle. Her fingers tightened their grip on the handle of her gladius, preparing. And then she closed in. Bare feet eased forth from the trees to pace gently on the salt, taking great care to remain quiet. A few light steps into the open before she went for it. Charging at a speed she knew would take the woman off guard. An unarmed enemy without a chance.

Kaie was on her within seconds, gripping the woman's braid when she was in range and yanking her back from the horse. As the woman stumbled back toward her under the force, Kaie's gladius moved to press against the woman's throat. She could feel the metal upon the skin, the pressure enough to force the skin to make way for the weapon. It wouldn't take her much energy to slit her throat now. She was well over half way there. All the savage needed was motive, which if she wanted she already had. What she lacked was information for the others. As soon as she had the woman well within her her grasp, she continued her assault, dragging her back to the shadows of the forest. Stopping only when they were just within the trees.

"Where is she? What'd you do with the Pycon!" Kaie growled into her ear brutally in a strained whisper, yanking the woman's braid down to forcibly lift her chin. She could see more of the neck and could feel that familiar urge. The urge to kill. It would be so easy here, to sacrifice the woman right where they stood to the Goddess Queen. To watch the crimson colored blood flow freely to spoil the salt whitened ground. Considering their predicament, that would have to come later. For now, she needed only to rescue the Pycon. She'd deal with her hostage however she wished later.

[Pavi Lake] Chasing The Salt Thief

Postby Vanari on August 20th, 2013, 4:12 am

Vanari gasped, unsure o whether she was more disturbed by the sickly looking creature or the fact that Ardea had just murdered it without a second thought. It's okay, it was probably poisonous or...something, she tried to convince herself, ignoring the ghastly feeling in her stomach.

One second she was staring out resolutely at the moonlit shore, avoiding the ugly corpse below her, and the next she found herself face to face with a very feral looking Kelvic. The Vantha barely dared to breath as her companion's face remained mere inches from her own. Ardea's expression was wild and frightening, and for the first time since meeting her, Vanari questioned her safety, fear welling up in her heart.

Then the Kelvic suddenly took a step back, ordered her not to move, and then ran for the cover of the forest. Vanari sagged with monumental relief, sheathing her daggers before rubbing her face with her hands. A bright glow emanated briefly through the leafy canopies and she could only assume her friend had shifted once more. That would explain the extreme behavior, amongst other things.

Before the tigress could return, Vanari heard a disturbance nearby. It sounded much like Kaie, though with her mere human senses she could barely tell. Trusting her companion to head toward the noise, she began sprinting toward the source, hoping fervently that it would somehow lead them closer to Rada.

When she burst from the clearing, however, she was greeted by the sight of an angelic looking stranger, Kaie, and a very lethal weapon held to a very exposed throat.

"Whoaa, wait a tick. Lets, um, hold off for a moment. Maybe we should let her explain herself first, yes?" Vanari looked hopefully at the Myrian, praying she wouldn't give in to any bloodthirsty impulses.

Tessabelle thought she was reading the stars right. There was someone or something in trouble."Who's in-"

There was a horrifying pain that came from the back of her head. It was like someone ripping her hair out. That wasn't exactly it, but close. A cold metal weapon was pressed against her throat. That's when Tess let out a high pitched scream, which triggered Talla'doe.

The horse circled them before trying to headbutt the very scary woman." Let go!" She sobbed. The woman asked a question that was just off to the eth.

"Where is she? What'd you do with the Pycon!"

"What pycon! What are you talking about!" Tessabelle started rambling on in shiber. Thus woman was nuts. Why'd she attack Tessabelle? Was this the problem she was told about. The pycon must've been the troubled one. She heard another voice that sounded just as nervous as she did.

"Help me!" She screamed.

[Pavi Lake] Chasing The Salt Thief

Postby Jervis Hill on August 21st, 2013, 3:43 am

The creature that burst through the dust cloud was familiar, but at the same time exotic and new. It resembled a Stalagmole, a foot high creature with triangular bone plating that was extremely dense. Native too his homeland and known for being a nuisance making burrows in cleanly cut tunnels.

This beast however was easily three times the size of the creature, with a rough leathery hide and a mouth full of pointed teeth reminding him of the stalagmites he'd seen in the lake. It as too bad the name stalagmole was taken as it would also be a good name for this creature. Brine Mole Jervis thought it was as good a name as any at least until he met someone who knew more about the thing.

The creature darted forward balancing on it's knuckles, it's long claws dragging behind it and not being the hindrance Jervis had thought they would be. The beast swung forward with it's clawed foreleg forcing Jervis back a step to avoid getting ripped open. It followed, lunging it's jaws at his thigh forcing him back another step and placing the brine mole squarely in the doorframe.

Jervis knew an advantage when he saw one, the creatures swings with it's claws were wide and slow like a broadsword, while it's snapped forth with it's jaws then clamped down like a mancatcher. In the doorframe as it was it wouldn't be able to get a good swing with those claws for now.

Jervis was torn, Killing this creature would be the fastest way to deal with and find Opala but it left a sour taste in his mouth for a few reasons. One he had no time to bleed the creature to make use of it nor wanted to waste time carrying it with his friend in danger. However the beast was large, aggressive and a predator, pounding it into submission would take time or would it? Jervis had a risky thought, noticing the creature's muscles tightening to pounce forward Jervis decided it was his best shot.

Jervis calmed himself as he saw the jaws flashing forward waiting for his opponent to be fully committed to it's attack though Jervis doubted the creature would try to avoid it. At the last moment Jervis' left arm snapped forward with a rapid jab. Before the mole could react he was forearm deep into it's mouth. It responded as he had hoped by clamping down onto his cassock and arm. "YOU WANT A PIECE BEAST, TAKE THE WHOLE DAMN ARM!"Jervis roared twisting his body and driving the mole into the door jam trapping it. This also caused his fist to slide deeper through the moles jaw chipping a few fangs, finally stopping in the creature's throat and wedging tightly.

The creature panicked as anything did when you took away it's air, even more so as Jervis' scream had driven home the point that it had chosen a poor meal. It's free claw scrapped against his arm a few times ripping his cassock but leaving his isurian birthright as unharmed as if striking steel.
Luck was on his side and the mole quickly blacked out on his arm, in a relaxed heap against the door jam.

[Pavi Lake] Chasing The Salt Thief

Postby Ardea on August 21st, 2013, 1:34 pm

Ardea allowed her muscles to relax, her burning gaze scanned the area in front of her.
"Petch." Though the word made perfect sense to the tigress, she supposed that, to any human, it would just sound like a strangled meow. Vantha idiot. Where is she?! I told her not to move! A vexed growl rose in Ardea's throat. Why was it that, every time the kelvic left her alone, she had to wonder off like a misbehaved child?! Deciding to restrain her frustration until she met Vanari face to face again, the kelvic breathed in the scents of the forest around her, picking out her companion's amongst the rest and resolving to pursue it.

Ardea moved back to the treeline, angling in the general direction of her- was she still her friend? The kelvic did not have much grasp of the concept of 'friendship' nor was she aware of the unspoken rules that platonic relationships seemed to follow. However her knowledge of bonds was second to none and whatever she had done on the shoreline, before she had left to shift, had definitely put strain on the bonds of their alliance. A sliver of guilt crept into her mind along with exasperation, it was difficult enough for her to make friends, nevermind keeping them. She had never really thought that it would be an issue... until now.

Still, Vanari must have had a reason for leaving. Heck, Ardea would rather throw herself into the hands of the Kelvic Research Institute than harm a friend. But did the Vantha know that? Shrouded by the looming shadows of the ancient pines, the beast stalked onwards, passing over logs and bramble thickets with a natural ease. Her mind snapped back to the present, the thoughts, that masked it before, evaporated. Massive paws crept amongst the tree trunks, silent and as she went, with an ominous sense of urgency.

It was not long before she reached a place where the Vantha's scent was so overwhelming that she was certain that Vanari was not more than ten feet in front of her. However, the dense forest blocked her view of her friend. Ardea crouched, the fur of her golden belly brushing against the ground. Despite her unusual colouring, she was camouflaged well amongst the growths of the woods. Tail low, but not touching the earth, she slunk towards Vanari, exactly how she would if she was stalking prey. The tigress stopped that moment the clearing came into her view, observing the scene at hand.

Any remnants of frustration with the Vantha were hastily swept away the instant she laid eyes upon Kaie. Now she was certain, this was why Ardea refused to place any trust in her, why a feeling of unease shifted her stomach every time her steady gaze came upon the Myrian. She too, was a predator. Ardea knew something the bloodthirsty woman did not, the Myrian was not alone, there was another beast amongst them. For a chime, Ardea simply crouched, invisible, hidden from the revealing glare of the luminescent moon. Then the beast stirred. A snarl bubbled in her throat, but she stifled it before it was released, this was about surprise, no matter how preoccupied with her prey the Myrian seemed to be.

A breeze passing between the conifers, Ardea stalked around the edge of the clearing, until she was positioned directly behind Kaie. Kaie's prey did not have answers, that much was evident. However the Kelvic highly doubted that mercy came effortlessly to the Myrian. Perhaps Ardea should aid her with letting go... Ardea shifted her weight onto her powerful, muscular hind legs and sprang forwards. She landed squarely on the Myrian's unsuspecting back, softly enough to not cause her to buckle in, but firmly enough to get a good grip. As soon as she had landed, she tore sideways, yanking the Myrian with her, off of the newcomer. Fresh adrenaline and fury flooded through her feline veins.

It doesn't know anything! Finding her paws a little clumsily, she crouched in front of Vanari and faced Kaie. There was not a shred of humanity in the tigress' muscular form. Finally, she released the aggressive snarl that had been lingering within her throat. Her ears flattened against her broad head, her tail lashing out behind her like a whip, she curled her lips into a second snarl. A wild, hungry glaze covered her blazing eyes, two pools of fire amongst an array of hardened feline features. Attempting to anticipate how the Myrian would react. Surely she would not realise that this was the same, placid, lithe copper-haired woman that the Myrian had met earlier? The woman who had followed her so nonchalantly.

[Pavi Lake] Chasing The Salt Thief

Postby Kaie on August 21st, 2013, 3:29 pm

She should've figured she'd scream! Kaie nearly cut her open right there were the cry echoed across the lake. It was a stupid thing on the woman's part, especially when there was a predator with claws at her neck. Strategy warned the Myrian to finish her then and race off before any prospective enemies could flock to a fallen comrade. She could find a perch and wait for them, attack them from above when they charged in. Any creature would be drawn to the freshly spilled blood that was always so potent in the air. Intoxicating and delicious in a morbid sort of way. It was a smell of both death and survival. The triumph of one species over another. A completely natural occurrence spoiled by the morals humans imposed upon nature. Since when was it a crime for tiger to slaughter a deer?

Yet before she could draw her gladius across the woman's throat, seeing no more use for her, Vanari rushed in. Kaie could hear the gentleness, that unwavering moral kindness in the Vantha's voice. It was innocent in a way that always proved unimposingly accusational. The presence of her harmless ally was enough to distract Kaie from what she was about to do. The predatory look softened just then, eyes blinking twice as if waking from a trance. She stared at the Ethaefal and her gladius before finding her ally again. If the woman did know nothing, what was the point in killing her? There was nothing to be gained by this blood. She was unarmed and alone. Completely harmless and far too untainted to be a threat to her. The Myrian stared at Vanari as primal realizations flooded her, letting her know for the first time she didn't need to kill this victim. And then she was somewhere else again. Not back to her savagery rather to a memory of a not so distant field. One within walking distance. Just recalling a seemingly insignificant instance that was short but so powerful.

Kaie could see everything like she was there again. Slowly treading with heavy, fatigued limbs across the graveyard-esque battlefield. She was bloodied and bruised. She could feel how despite the adrenaline that fed her veins how tired she was. With her allies looting their victims, Kaie had been on her way to do the same before the sound of an unfinished kill caught her attention. The Myrian had sheathed her gladius and turned over the heaving, gasping body. Stared down at the face of the dying girl of fair skin and dark hair she hadn't faced in battle.. The one who hadn't even had the time to fire a bolt from her crossbow when their sellsword team attacked. Innocence was crushed under the hardened exterior of the Myrian woman. Kaie had driven the end of her spear into the girl's eye socket to end her pain. That face, those eyes, still haunted her dreams. No matter how glorified she was in the light of Myri for her first battle, her first kills...That face of still lingered in the back of her mind. It cast a darkness through her very soul.

It was that familiar look of fear Kaie recognized in her hostage's own features. More notably, her eyes. And for a reason she could not explain, Kaie returned her gaze to Vanari and released the woman's braid. Slowly, that free hand dropped to her side but the unwilling hand on her gladius remained. With her attention strongly divided between instinct and mercy, she hardly noticed the shifting sound behind her. The sound of a predator settling itself into a well aimed pounce. Had she not been so distracted by her simple task, she might've been prepared before the tiger struck.

The weight hit her like tree, heavy paws on her and pulling her away. Had this been a battlefield, Kaie would've been sure to kill her hostage on hand before she went down. A last act before hitting the ground and perhaps death. Of course that would've been if she hadn't been trying to convince herself to free the Ethaefal. The sudden change of balance caused the Myrian to tip over, tightening muscled to save her position. Despite her efforts, the gladius so tightly pressed to the woman's throat couldn't be completely removed before the strike. Kaie managed to rip her arm away from the celestial being as best she could, but the edge of her blade did leave a trace on the skin. A long, thin line across her neck that was nothing more than a flesh wound. Nothing life threatening. Things could've gone quite the other way had Vanari not appeared to reason with her before the creature lunged.

Upon hitting the ground, Kaie rolled immediately back onto her feet. Low in her crouch and gladius prepared for battle. Lifting her head up slowly, the humanized civility that flickered through her eyes was gone. Replacing it was predatory and belligerent. Eyes were ablaze in her righteous fury. All else was lost. The killer was no longer at bay.

Darkened eyes stared at the snarling tiger before her. Lip curled on one side in a feral manner to reveal pearly white teeth. She was growling low with fingers wrapped around her weapon purposefully. Despite her aggression she couldn't help but notice the tiger's position. It didn't return to her immediately nor did it tear apart those around her. There was no instinct appearing in its demeanor that led Kaie to believe it would attack Vanari or the Ethaefal. And the way it stood before the Vantha almost like it was...Protecting her specifically? The Myrian cocked her head just slightly to the side as she took in the sight. Furious eyes flickered about yet the copper haired woman was no where to be found. There was no calling. No screaming for the Vantha to run. Realization flooded her instantly as it had several times before.

"Ardea..." Kaie offered with a sadistic sort of smirk, addressing the Kelvic like some sort of greeting. There was no mistaking she had put the pieces together. She now understood why she claimed she had no need for the oil rag. Why she was chosen by Vanari to lead her through the woods, claiming they'd have no problem hearing another's call. Kaie had an odd mix of respect and anger toward the woman. Angry not because she had necessarily attacked, but because she had come foolishly close to forcing Kaie's hand. Respect due simply to the fact tigers were revered in Myrian culture. Of course she had to note the fact she placed her feline instincts aside to do Vanari's bidding.

Yet Ardea had still jumped her and tore her from her feet and her prey. Even in the animal world that was deeply frowned upon. She had revealed herself to Kaie as hostile. The Kelvic was imposing herself as the enemy. Naturally, Kaie remained in her aggressive position with her gladius posed to attack. The question was who would strike first?

[Pavi Lake] Chasing The Salt Thief

Postby Vanari on August 21st, 2013, 5:13 pm

For a single, harrowing moment that seemed to last an eternity, all three present stood frozen at a crossroads, none knowing which side fate would fall on. Vanari could see Kaie struggling between instinct and reason, while the pale stranger looked horrfically frightened, like an unsuspectin rabbit caught under a tiger's claws.

Just when Kaie seemed to come to reason and let go of the woman's braid, a giant beast knocked her to the ground. Vanari first felt relief, knowing she would certainly get admonished later for running off again but glad to see her companion all the same, and then fear, as the Myrian was now long past reason, her stance all but screaming her intentions to fight.

After a slight hesitance, the Vantha slowly stepped in between the two feral warriors, her hands held up in plain view to show she wasn't here to take sides or fight. "I know this has been a strain on both of you, but we have far more dire problems to address right now," she calmly spoke. "First, to figure out who this woman is. Second, to find Jervis--we haven't heard anything from him and it's been more than two bells.

She turned to the ethereal woman, who still seemed rather shocked and disoriented. A delicate line of red had former on her flawless skin, and Vanari cringed in sympathetic pain. "Miss, I'm very sorry we frightened you. We are looking for a friend who may be in terrible trouble. Would you tell us who you are and what you are doing in these parts?

Tessabelle seem to choke with tears. She was still alive! Thank Leth she wasn't dead. Tessabelle had never been attacked like that. She wouldn't do anything to make someone attack her in such a horrid way. Her neck seem to throb a little from the thin pink line on her throat, a marking from the blade. She fell back feeling a little shock and scared. She had to catch her breath. When she went back to her normal breathing pattern she sat up to look at the predator that attacked her. It wasn't a surprise that it was a Myrian. But it scared her just a little bit more.

She raised her hand to find her horse. Talla'doe was right behind her, lying down for her to lean back on. She heard someone else come. In front of her was a tiger, it lunged at the myrian."What kind of madness is happening-"

She looked towards a girl with curly hair that was cut short. She looked like a pretty boy but Tessabelle could tell she was a girl. When she asked Tessabelle a question she seem to choke up. She wasn't that scared anymore but she was still in shock.

"I-I'm here to see the lake. I only like traveling places in my Ethfael form." She paused and scanned the area quickly." It gives me more confidence... who are you looking for? Someone's in trouble." The last sentence wasn't really a question, it was more of an answer. She knew that this Pycon person was in trouble.

[Pavi Lake] Chasing The Salt Thief

Postby Jervis Hill on August 24th, 2013, 5:24 am

Jervis jiggled his arm again in the unconscious creatures mouth. It had been stuck tight for nearly a minute now in the creatures throat, much more and he would kill the creature. He placed his foot on the mole's chest tugging firmly but as he pulled it felt like the creatures throat was pulling out with his fist.

"Slag" Jervis muttered while he thought. If this thing died he'd have no choice but to spend the time bleeding it. Jervis reached up and rubbed his hand along his eyebrows while he thought with his free hand, as he often did when his mind started seriously turning.

Then looking at his hand it came to him. He'd been using his power on his left arm so it was larger, so all he had to do was relax. Jervis closed his eyes and recalled the image of himself in the mirror. Up until this point in his life he'd always had one his mistress insisted on it. He recalled the image he'd last seen before he'd left. He recalled his pale, veined skin, his bright green eyes. His spiky cropped hair the colour of red hot coals.

He moved his focus through the memory bringing into focus his mismatched arms. He recalled them more clearly most things because he had hated it, no feared it really for so long. It was the thing that made him different from the rest of his clan, made him feel like the outsider. It was slightly larger than his right but not by much and well muscled as it was his smithing arm. He knew the color well that deep purple that seemed so dark as to suck in the light surrounding it, though he didn't have to worry about the colour having changed as he had never been able to alter the color of that arm, it helped focus him and relax him.

He felt the added bulk begin to slowly shrink arm began to revert to it's normal size. Feeling a bit of wiggle room Jervis placed his foot back on to the mole's chest and gave another tug. The fist came out surprisingly easier then he'd thought causing him to lose his footing and tumble the ground in a heap with a loud sound of ripping cloth. This is starting to be your favorite position Jervis thought looking up at the sky from on his back.

Izzy looked down at him from the near by tree must have jumped to when he'd stumbled. Izzy stuck his tongue out at him as if to say "you idiot" which made Jervis smile because he was sure the little creature was probably right about how he'd looked at the moment. Jervis pushed himself into a sitting position. The brine mole had resumed breathing normally but was still unconscious thankfully so deciding it was high past time to meet up with the others Jervis headed back to the lakeshore feeling Izzy climb back to his standard perch on his shoulder.

(OOC: Got a new template, just need to make a cool banner like all you people have now, decided to stick with something minimalist for now til I understand the code better. Hope you all haven't been waiting on me ;) )
