He has brown eyes and thick, black hair. Character Concept Hiwalani is an extrovert that finds no greater pleasure in interacting with other people. He is very generous with others and works hard to win their trust. Trust is something he holds very highly. He is one to place complete trust in an utter stranger and that often gets him hurt. Despite how often he gets hurt, he is still far from cynical. Hiwalani is generous and materialistic as well. He is very giving as he doesn't feel that money is an object, This does cause him to lose alot of it though. He is willing to spend large amounts for luxuries and he has no concept of 'saving'. Character History Hiwalani was born in Riverfall on 69 of Spring, 495. His childhood was a very battered one, he was the lowest class of the city and would be so, just like his father. He worked hard to please others, as soon as he could. He started working when he was three. His father was abusive. Very frustrated with his own life and often took to hitting his son and wife. He was caught for excessive punishment and was going to be taken to the combat arena for beating his wife. Who was a class above him. His father, afraid for his life and scared of a beating, forced his wife and child to flee with him, early spring, in search of another home. Hiwalani was four then. His father fled aimed at fleeing the region Cyphrus into Sylira, seeking refuge in Zeltiva. However, nearing the official boarder between the two regions, Hiwalani and his parents were attacked by unknown figures. His father was killed in the attack. His mother, bringing Hiwalani, fled to Syliras and managed to make it there relatively unharmed. In Syliras, Hiwalani's mother, Koa, worked hard in crop fields to provide for her child. Being unlike her deceased husband, Koa made sure Hiwalani was always well fed. She taught him how to behave politely and think compassionately and remain independent from others. She tried to be a parent that would make up for the one her child lost. Hiwalani grew up very healthy and a natural flirt and extrovert. He enjoys flirting as much as he enjoys the presence of a fellow man, and he very much enjoys the presence of a fellow man. He uses his 'social talent' to get what he wants. Although he doesn't enjoy it, he takes what he needs. Wether it be money, food, or clothes, his talent helped provide for his mother, who he grew to love dearly. They only had each other in this strange city. Koa always wanted to return to Riverfall. However she had a deep fear of the wilderness. When Hiwalani was 15, he fell in love with a woman of Konti species. This particular Konti was 38 years of age and was gifted in the trade of medicine. The woman tried to educate Hiwalani in the skill of medicine, and even taught him her native language. No doubt the Konti had a profound impact on his life, and Hiwalani loved her dearly. They were together for two years until their relationship ended when the Konti returned to her homeland abruptly. Ever since then, Hiwalani had had trouble trusting people with his heart with fear that they might be ripped away from him. Hiwalani was not officially employed and was caught rather unprepared when his mother was struck down with illness and passed away 50th Summer, 513. Now Hiwalani is all on his own for the first time of his life.
