Bones moved forward, coming to another room... Petch, was he ever going to find his way out? And he swore that when he had been here in the day, he did not recall seeing rooms all over the maze. It was almost like it was different to last time he was here... Or perhaps he had just gone in a different part of it... But perhaps it was his time in Alvadas, getting lost in mazes there which actually did shift, which made him lean more towards that it was also shifting here. Regardless, he thought to himself, he would likely climb a wall and try to get along that way, if he did not find his way to something soon... So far it had been nothing but randomness after randomness... But then, if there was this flying creature now perched on his head, who knew what else might be about... It was then that he noticed that the room was not empty. It had a odd red stone in the middle of it. If he had known more about such things, he might have seen its value. As it was, he found it interesting, and considered picking it up, but was not really driven to do so by any thought of monetary gain. Fer even hopped down to inspect it, giving it a one eyed gaze, without actually coming into contact with it. Bones thought for a moment, and carefully came up with a scientific and logical plan to test the stone, and to see if it was safe... He would poke it, with a sword. He silently slid out his isurian blade, with its silvery hue that seemed to glimmer in the reflected light of the night, telling it was not normal steel, at least in Bones mind. With a slow practiced motion, he bent down, and poked the stone with the tip of the blade. If that did nothing, he would tap it with the flat of the blade, and if still nothing happened, he would bend down and pick it up with his free left hand. |
