While Sylira is by far the most civilized region of Mizahar, countless surprises and encounters await the traveler in its rural wilderness. Called the Wildlands, Syliran's wilderness is comprised of gradual rolling hills in the south that become deep wilderness in the north. Ruins abound throughout the wildlands, and only the well-marked roads are safe.

"What you say is true," She said with an easy going shrug, nodding her agreement. Kaie lifted her spear and jabbed the dull end down into the dirt. She then leaned a bit on it, letting it support half her weight as she thought. It seemed odd to her explaining her people and the way they live. Yet where to begin?
"Ah. Let's see. All train in combat from the moment we can stand. Hand to hand. Weapon. Everything. We are born warriors to serve Myri, the Goddess Queen, and bring her glory," She started slowly trying to think of the main points to add. Suddenly her face lit up, remembering something he might've liked to know.
"Have you ever heard of the Myrian Tiger? What it means to Myrians?" She asked excitedly, eyes lighting up at the memories of the beloved animals. As ferocious as they were, she couldn't wait to perhaps have one of her own someday.

Aider nodded as he listened to her speak, her voice interested him almost as much as the information about her people. The light shining down into the woods light up the mist, making the surrounding area almost disappear, if not for branches and brush that jutted out awkwardly from every direction. He let out a soft sigh enjoying the flow of information about a race that he wanted to know more about. Of course being from Nyka, he knew about Myri, the goddess queen of the Myrians. The suddenly without any warning a burst of excitement came from the Kaie's lips. "The Myrian Tiger? No I cant say I have" he said, as he looked into her eyes. They seemed to brighten with the mention of this animal. "Is it an actual animal? Or a symbol? " he asked, his own excitement coming forwards. The rushing explosion of water could be heard in the back ground and Aider remembered that they were near a source of Djed, something beautiful yet strong in unexplained ways. He slid his hands behind his head and smiled. The combination of the warmth of the geyser and the moisture in the air made Aider feel like he was in a sauna. He really need to start getting out more, and doing things other then his daily routine in the city. He sighed thinking about his life compared to others, adventuring. Gaining fame and fortune, he chuckled. Seeing people in Nyka made him wonder if the rest of the world was as odd and colorful as his home. He wondered if he would be able to survive out on the land like Kaie. He looked at her, he didn't want to waste to much of her time. But he had a lot more he wanted to ask her.
Hey all, just wanted to say I am sorry for any delays and failed promises. I am getting ready for a huge trip out of the country as well as taking on a lot of extra shifts at work. The creative side of my brain hasn't been active as of late.

"What you say is true," She grinned proudly at the enthusiasm he seemed to show in her information. The Myrian Tiger was one of her favorite subjects. It was a revered animal in her culture and especially her clan. From the time she was but a small child she was raised around the animals, growing accustomed to their roars in the night. Their story was one she had memorized long ago. It was one of the few she found impossible to forget.
"Both actually. Navre, God of Cats, sent ah...Dire! Yes, dire tigers to Myri. Goddess Queen of Battle. They have been honored companions of the Myrians ever since," She said brightly, though she stumbled to find the correct barbarian word used to described the enormity of the beasts.
"Myrian Tigers are highly respected and noble creatures. Only the most worthy of Myrians may bond with them. Soldiers often use them as mounts in battle too," She included with a smile. It had been quite some time since she could discuss such natures of her culture. It was nice to say the names of the deities of Falyndar in Common to another.

"Navre... Another god I know little about" he mumbled, in a low voicing. Seeming sort of displeased with the fact that he didn't know about these creatures and this god. His eyes glanced down for a moment as he sighed, he turned his eyes back up to her as she began to talk about how the Myrians would ride these tigers to battle. "Are you bonded with one? Or is that your goal?" he asked. He smiled a warm and friendly smile. "I can tell that you, and your people, are very passionate about your ways. Its interesting to hear about something that isn't controlled by the monks and watched over by Uphis"he said. "Granted its not all that bad, a lot of people in Nyka are enjoyable. They sure like to fight" he babbled. He liked her smile, it was cute in an innocent sort of way to him, innocent and unique. "Sorry to interrupt you, but I have a couple of questions. I don't want to keep you here when night falls. But what is it like to travel? To visit the other cities in the world? Does it hurt to be away from home?" he asked, hoping not to bother her with these questions.

The barbarian seemed to be just as clueless to her part of the world as he let on. Interestingly enough, that fact also seemed to frustrate him. Though it would be rare for her or her brethren to reciprocate such curiosity in barbarian culture, it was a pleasant surprise to see an outside try to look in.
"Sadly, no. When I return home one day I will prove myself worthy. One day..." She answered nostalgically but there wasn't much upset in her voice. Just a moment of distance. And then she was back. Smiling at him still even when he babbled about Nyka. Of course her expression immediately darkened upon the mention of Uphis. Other than that, she was politely listening. All was valuable information about a city she would be nearing in several days. Still she highly doubted anyone who worshiped Uphis could be considered enjoyable. Even pleasant was a stretch.
"What is it like to travel? Guess it depends where you travel to and why. I liked travelling from Taloba to Cyphrus. The rest...Not so much. Barbarian cities are...Interesting. I prefer places that aren't kept under such heavy lock in key like Syliras. Home though is...Very, very far from here," Kaie replied easily though turned cryptic at the end. There were holes in her story she was unwilling to touch upon or fill. That was all he would get.

Aider nodded, his heart telling him that there was more to her story then she was willing to tell. It wasn't really his place to ask to much of her, nor did he have the ability to really defend himself from her attacks. "So what are you doing near Nyka anyway? Since you don't like the city, its seems to be pretty odd. Even to be this close" he asked. He wondered what would happen if a random monk was to stroll upon them, the Myrian would most likely kill him. Or at least attempt to, but what about him. What would he do? Would he sit and watch, or actually get involved at the risk of getting himself hurt. His mind raced with random questions as the possibilities crossed his mind. He shook his head and took a long breath, He looked back up at Kaie with a clear and focused gaze. He pondered his next question for a few ticks before asking "Are you traveling alone?" Just curious as to the Myrians reason for being so close to his home city. He couldn't help but stare into her eyes, their golden color pulled him into a different world. Somewhere that he didn't know, a place of adventure and excitement. He looked down towards the ground, hoping that she didn't notice. He didn't want to offend her in anyway, Not knowing the customs of her land, he tried to act normal and relaxed. It was hard as he had so many questions to ask her.

Aider sighed, remembering the hatred between their two homes. "I forgot about our homes relations. I have no interest in attacking your caravan, was just curious." the innocence in his voice, making him seem less like a threat or so he hoped. He slid down the tree and crossed his legs. He looked up at her and sighed as her questions rang in his ears for a few ticks. Of course she would be wondering why he was out here, the man could barely shoot a bow. So hunting didn't really seem like a reason to be out here. He shrugged and said "Im not sure. Felt like leaving for a few days. It just seemed like I should get out of that godforsaken hole as you put it. It gets trying... Doing the same thing everyday when you know theres more out there. Of course I don't know whats actually out there. But... " He rolled his neck, at his point she could easily killed him and take what little he had on him. Though he doubted that she would bother taking it, unless she really needed a new bow and some arrows. "I don't think I've actually asked why you're out here" he said.

He laughed and leaned back against the tree. "Cant be helped I guess. Some of us are born great warriors" he said making a gentle gesture at Kaie. "And others are born with no idea of their destiny or wants. " he finished, he looked away from them. Into the deeper woods, he slowly drifted into his own mind. Wondering what his future would be like, if he would meet more like him or if the world was filled with fighters and glory hunters. He then turned his gaze back towards Kaie, he wondered what she was. What her plans where, besides the tiger and impressing Myri, he wondered if there would ever be a time when their people would get along. Or where they doomed to hatred, not that Kaie seemed to care. To her, he guessed, if Nyka were to fall into the sea it wouldn't bother her. He wiped his hand down his face, coming back into reality. His eyes danced over Kaie's body, before resting on her face. "I have another question, Im sorry if this offends you or bothers you in any way. But its plaguing my mind.... If we were ever to meet again, somewhere different. Do you think we could travel together?" he asked. His walls were down, he didn't feel the need to protect himself. If she wanted him dead, she would have killed him by now.
