Ora Sa'vina Basic Information Race: Konti Birthday: 22nd of Winter 488AV Age: 26 years old Gender: Female Current Location: Mura (As of Spring 1st 511AV) Physical Description Ora is a slim, young Konti standing at a short 5'2. Her white hair is cropped to her face, ending abruptly at her chin, her forehead covered by evenly cut bangs. Below her bangs are a pair of sharp violet eyes that stand out almost violently against her pale skin. Ora has a soft face with a slight pale blue glimmer creeping up from her neck onto her jaw bone and cheeks. The young woman is light and agile, weighing in at no more than 105 pounds, it is common to see her smiling and dancing on her island home. Just above her navel, is a small Gnosis mark from Alavis, the mark is surrounded in the intricate pale blue scale pattern gifted to her at birth from Laviku. She has two scars upon her body, one above her hip on her back in the shape of a small star-like scar from a bolt and another on the back of her right shoulder with the same scar from another bolt. Ora wears a simple, sleeveless off-white dress the ends at her knees with a sacred cord tied around her waist, the cord is a light blue with a strip of white twirling around it. Her feet are adorned with either her black dancing shoes, but usually her tan leather ankle high shoes. Ora also has a full length, white cotton cloak that she wears, weather permitting. A pair of tan leather gloves cover her hands as well during the colder seasons. Character Concept Ora Sa'vina is like most Konti, she's quiet, calm and ambitious in her work as a fortune teller and dancer. The young woman loves reading fortunes and has spent a great deal of her life practicing and studying, but her real passion lies in dancing. The young Konti is trusting, sometimes almost too trusting in others, allowing perfect strangers to be close. Her trust isn't unfounded, her gift from the Goddess Avalis allows Ora to sense lies from truth. This Konti is very proper, thanking people and apologizing for everything and anything. When she is speaking with someone she gives them her full attention, addressing them by name with a smile. She does not like to shake hands, in preference she bows her head in respect to strangers and as a way to give thanks. Sense her birth, Ora has had a feeling in the bottom of her stomach, like a string tied elsewhere in the world that's connected to her and is slowly pulling. When the Konti was but a child she told her mother of this feeling, the older woman smiled to the child and told her to "Follow that string to wherever it leads you, for there, you will find true happiness." While this was what Ora wanted to do, the thought of leaving her beloved Isle was more painful than the nagging feeling of her pull. Character History Ora was born from her mother, San, on the 22 of Winter, her father, while Ora never met the man, was known to be an Akalak. Through stories while Ora was still a child, San told her of Riverfall, the beautiful city, and the celebrations San enjoyed while she stayed with her Akalak lover. Ora was raised under kind hands of the Konti and at an early age showed skill at both fortune telling and dancing. Her movements were fluid and smooth even when she wasn't dancing. Her training began early in life, once she could walk and speak, the Konti began dancing and reading fortunes. She also was trained in other tasks and jobs which the Konti found interesting. When Ora confronted her mother about the feeling inside her pulling her away from her family and home, San understood what the feeling was, a past life reminder, a distant memory of who she was. San told Ora that once she was of age, to leave and go to the place she was drawn to. Once Ora's twentieth birthday came, her mother vanished from the Isle. In the cottage where the two Konti women lived was a note for Ora and a metal dagger. "Ora, my dearest, it's time I left, for something is pulling me as well. This is for you, it was your fathers, it's sacred to the Akalak, it was your fathers Lakan, he gave it to me for saving him from certain death, I have kept it all these years and now it's time for it to pass to you, as I will be with Avalis and Laviku. You are precious, my dearest Ora." Ora found herself unable to leave once she was twenty, struck with grief of her mothers passing, yet happiness that she was with their God and Goddess, Ora stayed on the isle for two more years. During her two lonely years on the Isle, Ora went about her daily business, practicing dancing most days, and reading tea leaves at night. It was late one spring night while Ora was reading her own tea leaves that she saw something in her cup. A clump of leaves had gathered in a formation, one the Konti knew of but hadn't seen before. The leaves were showing that the Konti was to go, adventure, explore, it didn't matter which word was used, she was to leave her isle, she was to find something. Her violet eyes moved across the table she sat at to land upon her father's Lakan. Her father, a man who was a bed time story, a hero in her eyes. A man whom her mother loved with all her being. Ora decided that night that she would travel in search of her father with nothing more than his weapon and a few bedtime stories. Current History Ora spent most of her summer in Sylira meeting various people before she continued her journey to Riverfall. She spent most of her time within the cities walls with one major trip out to the waterfall which ended in mild disaster. She left Sylira on the 85th of Summer and arrived at Riverfall on the 19th of Autumn. While in Riverfall Ora met a kelvic named Mao, and their meeting was marked with blood and kidnapping. Ora was shot twice with poisoned bolts and kidnapped. The Konti was hidden away in the basement of an unknown building and left to her own devices, finding a small book and metal ring. On the book were scrawled the words "The Black Prophecy". Upon contacting the metal ring to the pages of the book opened a strange portal which spewed scraps of paper and a strange water-based creature. Before Ora could figure out much of anything about her newly acquired items aside from they being her late mothers. A large, fearsome Akalak along with Mao found and rescued Ora. The Konti remained under the radar in Riverfall for the Winter season. Once Spring season broke across Mizahar, the Konti returned to her home Island of Mura. She needed guidance, in her search for her father she was left with more questions than answers. The Konti's hope was to speak to her fellow sisters, and have help in her quest. For four years after returning to her isle, Ora was quiet and kept to her self regarding the adventure she had. The young Konti took the book that was her mothers and her fathers Lakan and put them in a box, hidden under her bed and out of sight. She wanted nothing more than to be ready to continue searching, to continue learning of the past--but the events in Riverfall left a mark upon her that kept her up at night in fear. She has remained in Mura since Spring 511av. Training
