Sei was taken by surprise. For the short time they'd been in the others company, Kaie hadn't smiled until now. He watched as she placed the arrows in her quiver, and removed all her equipment. She then asked him what he wanted to know. His brow furrowed as he thought about this. It wasn't a difficult question, it was just he wanted to know so much. He put his hand on his chin, and came to a quick decision, seeing as he didn't want to keep Kaie waiting. "Weak points.." He thought aloud. "I-I mean weak points in the body. When we were sparing before, I noticed how you were attacking soft tissue, and pressure points on any human body. I know a few, I just don't know how to make it effective." He explained.

He repeated her motions in the match and continued to speak. He jabbed down with his elbow pointed, and struck up his knee. "When you were aiming for the tissue between my shoulder blades for example," He began, completing the motion. "Why should you point your elbow? And how much force should you use?" He said it in more of a statement than a question. He then shifted to the exact stance she used while aiming for his throat. "Is there a reason your fist were lightly clenched instead of fully clenched?" He asked, completing the motion. He then relaxed his stance and gave her a determined look. "I want to know everything." He said. He then started to mimic her stance once more. He had been observing her movements from the beginning, and he had known after the first hit that he'd lost.

[Cobalt Moutains]To Learn From An Animal(Kaie)

Kaie nodded slowly in understanding as he spoke. Whatever she had done during their battle was purely by impulse. An instinct driven into her by her clan and Mother. Myri commanded that all of her children be proficient in battle, and so the Cutthroat Shadows followed that tradition closely in the jungle. Through both grueling training with Yitmah, her father, her clan, and the horrific Training Yards, Kaie had been turned to a warrior. As her focus had originally been hand to hand when she first started, weak points were known to her. It wasn't too hard to find them in the heat of the moment.

"When you strike in a battle, you strike to kill. Don't beat around the bush aiming for anywhere and everywhere like some drunken brawl. One strike must lead to another. It's easiest to do damage on vital areas. For example..." She began easily, recalling what she already knew. Before long she was sizing him up. Analyzing his body and picking out areas to capitalize on first. She figured she might as well take it from the top.

"Powerful strikes to the temples, summit of the nose, and throat can easily debilitate your enemy. When used by a skilled warrior, it could even be deadly," She continued while gesturing to each area on his as casually as someone directing a worker where to hang a painting. For such a morbid topic she was hardly bothered. It was simply just another day in the life for her. Besides, the Kelvic proved worthy of the knowledge. She gave him her word.

"Clavicle, solar plexus, stomach, groin, all good spots too. On the side of the thigh a bit higher than the mid way between the knee and hips, there's a cluster of nerves. Hit that just right and you'll cramp the muscles right up. As for the back, I just hammered my elbow there because I knew it was soft tissue. Understand so far?" Kaie asked when her little monologue was finished. She turned to her new student with expectant eyes, awaiting some sort of question or nod of understanding. All she said was simply from memory. She wasn't the original expert who had found such weaknesses and technique. Kaie was simply the next vessel to hold the knowledge. And as she stood there with her predatory gaze, the savagery clear in her aura, the tables had turned. Now it was her stage. She was the teacher, the leader of this lesson. The Myrian would mentor the Kelvic beast. One might even find themselves in wonder: Which was the true animal?

Se listened carefully, and followed her hands with his eyes. He figured that the neck and upper thigh would be the best place to strike. Mainly because these places are most likely to injure and disable your opponent for certain periods of time. He listened throughly to her explaination, and ran each word through a thought process, thinking of ways to incorperate them into his current fighting style. From the looks of it, all these attacks were close range, and would be deadly like Kaie had said. He nodded his approval and pointed to every weak point explained.

"So I'm going to take a wild guess. I'm in close range with my opponent, and I strike for the throat. My opponent dodges. I would be wide open," He began. "Based on what you've explained, all these moves, if dodged, would leave certain points on my body exposed. How would one be able not to worry about the opponent dodging the blow? And is there any way to protect or counter the next attack?" He asked. It was a lot to take in, but asking questions would help in the long run.

Kaie shrugged while she considered his words. She'd never thought about retaliation really seeing as it came no matter what attack when hurled if countered. Finally she chose the answer that was most obvious.

"If you have your guard up, you shouldn't really have to worry about that. Moving any part of your body from your guard leaves you open for attacks. It's no different than throwing a punch anywhere else. The key is anticipation," She started easily watching his expression to see if he had any idea what she was saying. Being one grown up on the skills, most came second nature. it wasn't often she needed to explain herself.

"You can deflect, dodge, and block any attack your opponent tries on you. Even if you choose a different and more precise target, the essentials of a fight never really change."

Sei lostened carefully, his mind was enticed by her knowledge. He had noticed her words weren't from her mind, they were from her experience. He nodded his head. So as long he was alert, he wouldn't worry about the counterattack. He backed slowly, and looked Kaie over. "Hmm.. What about tactics? And logic for that matter? How do you put your weight into your fighting?" He asked. He clearly understood the weak points lesson, and he wanted to move on to something new. He closed his eyes for a moment, and let the words trail from his brain, and out his mouth. "The way you fight, isn't it close range? I'm trying to get a grip on my thoughts." He said.

She was rather surprised by the questions the tiger man seemed to be asking her. They weren't just brainless, impulsive questions like "teach me to punch better!" or "show me how to kill someone!" for once. It was refreshing to her, to see someone who saw beyond that. Someone who saw the details beyond the basics and understood them. Finally there was someone to share information with that would know how to use it. One who could see.

"All hand-to-hand is close range. I like distance between myself and my opponent as much as the next person. Gives you that extra second to move. Yet you can't always be far away from the enemy. When you get in close, it helps to know what to do with limited space. Where to hit and with what. Elbows, knees, and the head are perfect for that," She explained first with a smile, recalling how she had used those very elements herself when they battled. Surely he could feel the bruising she had left beyond. Lately she had found such close encounters to be the most satisfying when it came to dealing out damage.

"Logic should be second nature. Tactic comes with training. Whenever you strike, you should always be setting yourself up for your next attack. Always building off the last thing you did. As for weight? Always be careful. Power is one thing. Over committing is quite another."

Sei was understanding Kaie's words more clearly. As he listened, he watched as her face played a small smile, and he looked her over. Kaie wasn't the savage Myrians were built up to be. Of course, he shouldn't have listened to it in the first place. And why? For one, he had only heard of them through word-of-mouth, and two, he hadn't even seen a Myrian before he met her. He dismissed his thoughts and focused on her words, listening intently to her knowledge. He then furrowed his brow and spoke. So the attacks are the tactic and logic itself!" He exclaimed. He then looked to Kaie with a large smile, and spoke cheerfully. "Thanks! However, I'd like to know more if you don't mind." He said. He then turned to the boar behind him. "But before that, we'd better get this guy sold before his price lowers." He said with a kind smile.

Notes :
Sei, I wanna tell you that due to his tiger form with inherent hunting and fighting ability gave him a boost even though he's a novice. :)

You play him well here, what I need you to realize that his tiger form's agility, strength, claws, and fangs does not transfer to his human form. Only his senses (sight, hearing, smell) does.

Kaie, good job at describing her awkwardness with the bow, appropriately playing by your skill level actually nets you more points than overplaying.

EDIT: Timestamp added, grade added.
