Sayren raised an eyebrow, glancing over at Savio. "I'm sorry about that...I honestly don't know what came over me..." She said to the both of them.

"Sayren WIndDancer!" A voice boomed from the trees, followed by a quick rampant noise of stomping feet. Sayren blinked, she recognized this voice, it only spoken to her when-and a man appeared. His hair was long and flowed with different strands of blonde and brown colors blended together as they cascaded down his massive shoulders. Across his chest, his shoulders and down his shoulder blades were various windmarks. Sayren blinked a few more times, she didn't know this man. Least she thought she didn't, till she glanced into his eyes. "Ga...Garel?"

His eyes narrowed as they latched onto Savio's presence, "You..." The man sprinted forth. His feet barely even touched the ground as he brought his fist back. Sayren was about to say no, but the man struck Savio. Not with his fist, but with his skull...perhaps the fist was a distraction?

The man sighed, "There, happy Fall season..." Now that he stood before them, he was about a good six and a half feet tall. Towering amongst them all with his bulging muscles. And by the seven, Sayren just realized the man was naked. She covered her eyes as well as Ireth's, "You're...naked..."

He chuckled, "So? You've seen me naked for the past several years." He cracked his knuckles as he redirected his attention to Savio, "Now...would you like to explain how we got here? Cause I-" But he was at a loss of words as he peered at the girl beside Sayren. A rather charming grin beamed across his face as he approached her and Sayren, "Why hello there. Decided to snatch another one for yourself Sayren?"

Sayren tried to bat the man away with her arm, "You're. Still. Naked!"

He narrowed his eyes as he sighed, his lips flapping while he glanced back over at Savio, "Since the ladies here think I'm being indecent, would you like to provide me something? And don't give me grief about the headache, I've only given you a few of them and you deserved each and everyone of them."

To Dream a Little Dream

When Savio heard the shout and the stomping of feet, he couldn’t help but wonder “What now?” to himself. Next thing he knew, a massive nude man appeared out of nowhere, only to attempt to attack Savio.

The young acrobat shouted in surprise as he held up his arms in protection, and felt the man strike them with his head rather than his fists. The force of the hit still knocked Savio to the ground, leaving him to glare up-

Savio looked away out of courtesy since he was more or less eye level with “Garel’s” manhood. It was quite unnerving and demoralizing. Savio held up his hand to shield his eyes. By the gods, the man was built like a horse. Well, it would make sense since he appeared to be the human version of the strider.

The man went on to talk to the women while Savio struggled to his feet once more. Petching horse. He seemed to be just as aggravating as a human as he was when he was a horse. He even had the nerve to demand clothing from Savi. As if he had anything to give the giant of a man. Perhaps this blanket would do?

Blanket? He looked at his hand and he was holding a blanket, which he hadn’t been holding moments before. Strange, but Savio shrugged and handed the blanket over to the man. “Here, perhaps this can work if you wrap it around your hips?”

Ireth was beyond attempting to understand what was going on. Before she could make sense of anything, Sayren slapped her hand over Ireth's eyes hard enough to make a sting. The Nykians began talking to somebody, some man. Some man they both knew, but didn't? Ireth was too discombobulated to make any truth out of it. The man's voice was rough and loud, as if that of a giant.

Ireth made out the sound of Savio getting hit and smacking the ground hard. Ireth's body lurched forward, her arms outstretched in a want to help him, but Sayren held her back. So she resigned herself, curling her legs to her chest and huddling against Sayren.

The people around her spoke, something about attempting to cover the new man. Then the guy said something about Sayren 'catching another one', another something that Ireth didn't understand, although she felt as though it was directed at her.

"Sayren?" Ireth whispered, fingering the dirt below her. There was moist soil, dead leaves, small plants, stones... "Sayren, what is going on?"

Ever since Ireth had entered this forest, however that was, she hadn't a clue what was going on. It was like a dream, a muddle of notions and people that she didn't understand. A sniffle escaped her, as though she were about to start crying again. She knew she was behaving like a child but...

"All I want to do is go home..."

Garel raised an eyebrow as he grasped the blanket from Savio, "I suppose this will do. I'm surprised you speak Pavi so well for a Sylirian." Wrapping the blanket around his waist as he glanced over at Sayren. "I'm sorry to say, but I do agree with the girl. She will have to go home soon. Wherever that may be."

Sayren leaned over towards Ireth, whispering, "I'm not sure I knew to begin with..." As she looked up at Garel, now decently covered, "Before we can get her home though, we need to figure out where we are. Can't you do that Garel?"

Garel shrugged as he began to slip into his pavi tongue with a mix of hand gestures, "I honestly don't think I can figure out this one...it's not like the grasslands back home."

Sayren returned the speak in pavi, remembering just how easy it was for her to understand, mainly because she wasn't sure if Ireth could understand the language, "You can't? But you are a strider, you never get lost."

Garel offered a sheepish smile and got to his knees in front of both of the girls, returning to common tongue, "I will do the best I can to return us home." Then he gives a rather doubtful look over to Sayren before confidently facing Savio, "C'mon Sylirian. We get to figure out where exactly we are. Maybe we can get this girl home."

Sayren quickly intervened with a quick talk in pavi, "But Garel, this girl is from Ravok, quite a distance away from Nyka. What if we are from both cities?"

Garel shrugged his massive shoulders once again, "I suppose we'll figure...it...out..." His eyes widen in fear as he punches Savio, "WAKE UP FOOLISH SYLIRIAN!" He shouted at the man before running over to the girls, shaking them both, "PLEASE WAKE UP!!!! DON'T STAY HERE!!!"

Within moments, Sayren rose from her bed. Panting heavily as she looked from side to side. "What...was that?..." Trying to calm down...seeing that she was in her room. Her breathing slowed. Relaxing as she leaned back into bed. Murmuring, "Ireth...please be safe..."

The sudden change in expression in the human version of Garel was rather startling. He seemed to see something no one else could. Savio was about to reach for Ireth when he felt Garel grab him and punch him hard in the gut. It was unavoidable since Savio had not been completely paying attention.

The next thing Savio knew, he was jerking up in his bed and ungracefully falling out of it in a tangle of legs, arms, and blankets. The young man’s heart was thundering rapidly as he attempted to coordinate himself. Once freed, Savio sat up and looked out the window of his bedroom. What had just happened? Clearly that had been the strangest dream he ever had. “Ireth…” Savio murmured to himself as he leaned against his bed, still sitting on the floor. She seemed so real, and he knew that he had never seen her before.

When Garel ran at her, all around Ireth moved in slow motion. Sayren and Savio fell away, disappearing from whatever freakish reality this was. He grabbed a hold of her and started to shake her, gripping her arm hard and hurting her. In absolute terror, Ireth pushed the giant away. He fell back, tripping over a tree root that Ireth could have sworn was not there before. She watched with amazement as he hit the ground, causing it to shudder. His chest split open, erupting in a whirl of sparkling butterflies and crimson feathers.

Ireth stood up amidst the torrent. The butterflies and feathers swirled around her, as if she were in the eye of a brilliant tornado. She heard two voices, whispers, repeating themselves over and over again. They wrapped themselves around her mind until she couldn't rightly remember the names of the owners of the voices.

A female voice worried "Ireth...please be safe..." and although she couldn't name her, Ireth knew that the owner of the voice had a name that slid off of the tongue. Something that started with an S.

While a masculine voice sighed "Ireth..." making Ireth think of gray eyes. Exquisite gray eyes.

Over and over and over and over. Ireth felt as though she was either the happiest she'd ever been or totally terrified. The feathers butterflies were joined by leaves from the trees, all partaking in a breath-taking dance before her eyes.

Then she woke up.

Ireth was alone in her room, in Ravok. The moon was glowing from out her window. She could make out the sounds of canals washing up against the platforms of her city, the parts that sat upon the Lake. She sat up slowly, already losing the dream. When she wrapped a blanket around herself, she looked down at her hand. There wasn't anything unusual about it, it was normal. The creases, the nails, the little scars from childhood injuries on her knuckles. But there was something about her hand, something....

I need to go to Nyka.

The thought hit her hard. Why on earth? Where did that come from? Ireth shook her head, but the thought remained. Something, there was something in Nyka that needed her. Something... or somebody. More than one somebody? She was terribly confused, but subconsciously she knew she'd go. She would tell her mother in the morning. And she'd go alone.

Perhaps this was the will of beings with higher powers than her own, but Ireth was to go to Nyka. Whether she liked it or not.
