Symenestra and their fashion senses.

Now I admit I'm still a bit of a noob involving the lore in this game, but still I feel I need to ask the experts here.

Sym's (my chosen favourite race) wear silken clothing, as befits the spiders they take after.

Myself, I'm a huge gothic fan, leather, chains, crucifices, religious symbols.

So I guess I was wondering whether any of this fashion sense existed in Mizahar anywhere? Especially the syms?

I have not seen any evidence of those sorts of fashion choices. Crucifixes especially make no sense, because there is no Christianity. Certain gods might have religious symbols, but I don't think anyone would wear them unless they worshiped that god. Symenestra commonly worship Viratas, the god of Blood, so you might be able to do something with that.

I would recommend fitting your character with the lore as much as possible. Silk is not so bad, is it?

As Alea wrote, crucifixes don't exist in Mizahar. You could wear a necklace with some kind of symbol that is related to Viratas however. You could also dye your silk clothes black and occasionally wear leather and chains, although heavy clothes will make it harder to climb and people will look at you strangely if you dress like that. Most Symenestra prefer bright jewel tones.

Dont worry I wasn't suggesting my character wear full gothic *-* that's make no sense. I was just wondering what kind of clothes fashion existed.

What do Syms do in cold weather then? Silk isn't very warm.

In Kalinor itself it's never particularly cold as the city is underground.

If they have to travel above ground in winter, they wear something a little warmer than silk, maybe wool or something made of fur or leather.
