(The Spinning Coin) Getting Real Tired of You... (N'all)

Orion, 60th Day of Spring, 513 AV

The Spinning Coin. For all the years Orion had lived in Syliras, he'd spent precious little time in this location. It just never held the appeal for him that the Stallion always had. Drinks flowed freely at either, but pretty women tended to grace the latter. Still, an experience just shy of a dozen days prior had changed his view, if only slightly. The cage fights. Cage fights with occasionally beautiful woman. Mud wrestling? Mud. Wrestling? How had he missed this diamond in the rough?

Knight Captain Dinah Lorene was loathe to give her squire days off like this. The former doctor was a mess when it came to combat, and while he'd shown improvement since the beginning of the season, he was seasons away from being ready for his knighting quest. At this rate, she'd have the blue eyed man as her squire for a good while yet, and while his charm was something else, it would serve Syliras better for him to be serving as a knight, rather than a squire. Yet all work and no play would burn out a man like Orion, so she'd given him a day off. What was the worst which could happen?

Orion had been spending most of the evening in conversation with a lovely, and well endowed blonde woman. She worked as a server and occasionally took a turn in the wrestling events. "I couldn't believe it," he said, sitting with arms crossed as the woman ate up each of his words. He wasn't a particularly skilled weaver of tales, but thankfully for Orion, the rather large bosom precluded the woman from needing a brain. "There I was, all alone in the Soothing Waters. The rest of the doctors were ill, which is quite the sad thing, considering their profession." Orion paused, a stupid grin plastered on his face. The blond stared at the squire, a perfect smile gracing her lips. "Uhh...moving on..Ahem. Anyways. There were three..no...four..no..There were eight knights brought into me, all suffering terrible wounds!"

"Oh no!? Were they hurt?" She asked, bringing her hands to her mouth in shock. Gods she was beautiful, but there was more conversation with a rock.

"Umm...yes, horribly! The man who brought them in said he was sure they were all going to die, but he said he'd at least give me a chance to see what i could do. I laughed in his face, and got to work. Tirelessly I performed surgery, closing up wounds, cleaning out injuries, stitching up cuts. And by the time the next morning roll around, guess what?"

"You had breakfast?"

"Arghh...ermm...Yes! But not before I'd saved each and every knight single handedly. You might say I've got magic hands." He gave the stupid blond a suggestive wink, but apparently subtlety meant nothing to her.

"Wow! You're so amazing!"

"...I know." Scooting slightly closer, the man slid his hand on the blonde's thigh. "I've got a few more stories to tell, if you'd like to join me on a walk." Maybe a straightforward approach would be the way to go. One could hope.

N'all stood at the far wall, his armed crossed and his eyes wandering under his hood. He looked at the bar for a moment before noticing something odd. Well, not exactly odd, but it did make him curious. He looked at the man, his arm laying on the woman's leg as they spoke.

The women was one of the servers, not a very bright girl, and from what he could see she was wrapped around the mans finger. The girl was clearly oblivious to the lies he guessed he was telling. "Foolish," he muttered as he began to look away, then something clicked.

That face, it was familiar somehow. He looked at the man for a moment before realizing it. His face grew red and he stopped leaning on the wall as he balled his fists. He looked around, it was calm, or as calm as the coin would be. A little disruption wouldn't hurt to liven up the mood.

He began to approach the man, hood covering most of his face. Steel clad hands balled into fists, and his face red yet still calm.

(The Spinning Coin) Getting Real Tired of You... (N'all)

Orion
People moved about all the time in The Spinning Coin, so he paid no mind to the approaching stranger. There were more important things. Two of them to be exact. If Orion had his way, there would be more than a little spinning going on, that was for sure. "Oh, I don't know. Where would we walk?" A wicked smirk spread across his lips as he internalized his answer. Right to your bed, good looking. The things he would do when given the chance. It was a good thing the knights had no rules against this sort of thing, or he'd be doomed. He had to be just good enough that Dinah didn't impose even harsher restriction on him.

"Well, you're off for the night, right?"

"Off?"

"Ugh. You're done working?"

"Oh yeah!" A sweet giggled reminding Orion just why he liked this girl.

"Well, why don't I walk you home? I've seen some guys giving you some pretty nasty looks all night, and I don't want them to try anything funny to a sweet young lady like you." So yeah, Orion was the one with the lecherous looks since he walked in. Everyone else could petch off because he was about to seal the deal. The Spinning Coin was a wonderful, wonderful place.

"Oh, that's so sweet of you. Can I finish my drink first?"

"You're my kind of girl," he said with a wink. If not for the intercession of an outsider, he would have had an amazing evening. Not everything always went as planned.

N'all pulled his hood back, the cloth hanging loosely behind him as he approached the man. His face was red, yet his expression was blank. He stood there for a moment above the man, hands clenched tight and a twisted grin forming over his features. He lifted the man to his feet by his collar, not waiting for a reaction as he stared him in the eyes.

"So," he said in a venom loaded tone," Your the doctor." He looked at the woman. She stared at him with the blankest look he had ever seen. "No wonder," he muttered as he turned back to the man he held up. His smile grew wider as he realized just how truly defenseless this man appeared. Oh, how he had waited for this moment. Fights were such great stress relievers, and as these events go, a fight should soon come about

The course of the evening was quickly altered as one of the bouncers of the Spinning Coin made his way over to Orion. The squire had expected to be leaving with the bouncing blond, but instead he was being forced to his feet. The barmaid looked up at Orion quizzically, confused by what was going on The nice gentleman was going to walk her safely to her apartment after they finished their drinks. Why was the bouncer bothering him? For the first time all evening Orion was on the same page as her, as he too had no clue what was occuring.

"Ummm, care to tell me what's going on, sir?" The man had some sort of a vice grip on his collar, and he wasn't letting go. "Yes, I'm a doctor. Well, I was. I've never met someone so offended by the medical profession. Don't worry, if they bring you in to me I won't lay a hand on you. Bleed out for all I care. Just. Let. Me. Go." Orion turned and twisted trying to free himself from the strange man's grasp. He hadn't made unwanted advances on the blond, he wasn't being unruly, so what was the problem?

"Can't a man just enjoy himself?" Orion scowled as he made it nowhere in his attempt to escape. What options did he really have here? He wasn't going to fight with this guy, not if he could talk some sense into the creep. "What do you want?"

"You've made a mistake sometime in your past," he said as he pulled back his right arm leaving his left arm as the only on the mans collar. He smiled as he spoke, "This mistake involved a certain tan women," he said as he looked back at the girl. She still looked dumbstruck, her reaction time being horrible for the fact of her still being here.

"Lets just say that your joy has been revoked," with this he balled his hand into a fist, "I want my own little vengeance," with this he pulled his hand quickly forward below the mans ribs. His eyes showing no change and his mouth still curled into smile, the man could fight back and receive more punishment, or he could simply take it and walk away without anymore.

“A mistake in my past? Who the petch are you?” He shook his head, his mouth flying agape in confusion. “Who the heck hasn’t made a mistake, sir? I didn’t realize Syliras had judges of character running around. Release me!” A tan skinned girl? He’d met a few of them in the last season or so. Who was he talking about? Before Orion could question him though, the punch came. He gritted his teeth with the impact, the crushing blow sending pain running along his chest.

Orion pushed away from the man, a hand falling to the hilt of his blade. He took a deep breath to gather himself before turning to face his attacker. “I’m not sure what you think you’re doing, ser, but I do suggest you desist this activity. I’ll let that slide, but it would be far from wise to continue down this path. I wouldn’t want to put you through any of the tables in this fine establishment and embarrass you in front of all these beautiful women,” he postured, preferring to let his words fight rather than his weapon. “If you want to continue this, let us at least move outside. Though, I do wonder on the brilliance of assaulting a squire. Especially when it’s unprovoked.” He motioned for the door, the pain of the first blow beginning to fade. “Otherwise, leave me and my companion to our drinks. I’ve no desire for combat this evening.”
